Dear Father in Heaven, thanks for waking me today and thanks for waking me to do Your work. Help me to get my assignments done that You give me to do this day. I pray, dear Father, that all people will pray that prayer today and pray that they work on the things on this earth that You have given them tools to use for You. Thanks for watching over family and friends and our flock and all those who read this line. All honor and glory to You, dear Lord, that three girls who were kidnapped over 10 years ago have been found alive. It just goes to show we should never give up hope when we walk with You. Please now, Lord, protect this line and grant unto me a message for this day and please open my mind and heart to write it the way You want it done. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
Hi, brothers and sisters, what a great day to be alive and alive in Jesus. Well, let me say if you are not alive in Jesus, then you really are not living!! Did you see and hear the good news about those girls that were kidnapped over 10 years ago were found alive? Praise God! Please, when you are in prayer for people, do not ever give up faith that your prayers will be answered. God does hear our prayers, and he does answer them.
So how about it? Did you think about my questions? Does God trust you? Do you trust God? And have you thought about people in the Bible God trusted and who listened and also ones who failed? Let me get to the message of today ... Does God Trust You?
Tuesday May 7 2013 - Does God Trust You? Day Two.
Genesis 6:9 - Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time and he walked with God. 10 Noah had three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth. 11 Now the earth was corrupt in God's sight and was full of violence. 12 God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways. 13 So God said to Noah, "I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth. 14 So make yourself an ark of cypress wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out." (NIV)
Here we find Noah a righteous man who walked with God and God asked Noah to build a boat, a really big boat and told him how to do it. Now I ask that you take time to read the account of Noah, for it is really interesting. Not once did Noah question God, not once. Let's jump into the picture today. And just to make it interesting, I will call Noah "Us" or you might use the nickname U.S. Now let's see how it goes when God Trusts U.S. as He did Noah.
Good Morning U.S. This is God speaking. God who? What do you mean, God who? You know I am the only God. Listen, I am trusting yo to do something for me. As you have noticed, the world is getting very corrupt and there is a lot of violence. I, your Lord God, am going to destroy the earth again. God! Yes, U.S. Do you want me to build an ark? No, I made a promise that I would never destroy the earth by water again, so an ark is out of the question. Okay, God, what do you want me to build? Well, U.S., I want you to build a big aircraft, one that we can put animals in, and of course your family and lots of food and such. One that will fly really high. Here is how I want you to build it, U.S. Take notes on this. We are going to build it out of lightweight material, let's make it out of aluminum, and U.S., like when Noah built the ark, he followed my orders perfectly, and I am trusting you to do the same. I told you owe are going to take along animals, two of each type to start the world over, plus some for food and we are going to use them to fuel the aircraft so it will fly. So listen up, we are going to put solar panels on the top to fuel it by day, but by night it will use animal waste turned into fuel to power our plane. Now wait, Lord, I do not know how to make animal waste into fuel. U.S., I am trusting you to get this done and I will never ask anyone to do a job for me without Me supplying them the way to get it done. So listen to Me, U.S., I want you to get in touch with this girl named Leslie who just loves Me very much, and on the farm they have, they already do this, they turn animal waste into fuel and make electric out of it. So you get in touch with Leslie at the Mason/Dixon farms to learn how. I know she will help you. Now, Lord, I will need some help, can I call on Union Labor? No, if you call on them, they will want paid now and overtime for over 40 hours a week, and as you know, U.S., when you work for Me, your rewards will come later. I will supply all of your needs now, but those rewards, well, you know, you will wait for them.
Lord! Yes, U.S.! I am going to need a big place to build this and I will need some permits from our governments. Well, U.S., those permits will be the hardest thing, so what you must do on this is win these folks over to our side, so instead of throwing me out of places where they are in charge, they come over and get on board with us. So, Lord, what else must we do? Well, U.S., you can start by praying, and each day pray for that day and for the things you will need for that day. Now, U.S., I am going to tell you that some of your friends and and some of your family are going to laugh at you and say you are crazy, I am telling you, that is okay, just keep your eyes on me, and trust me and together we will get this thing built. Remember to trust me, U.S., for I am indeed trusting you to get this work done. Okay, Lord, let me get started ...
Okay, U.S., but right now, U.S., I am going to give Pastor Dan a break from this story and plant more in his mind for tomorrow. So, U.S., pray now with Pastor Dan and we will talk again soon. Thanks, Lord, I will get busy, thanks for trusting me. I love You, Lord.
Dear Father in Heaven, You have me out on the limb on this story of trust, so Lord, I am trusting You to give me more of it tomorrow. I really do Love You and I really appreciate You trusting me. I think some days Your trust in me is greater than my trust in You. Help me trust You more each day. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Now dear brothers and sisters, I have no idea where God is taking me with this story, I just know that I am trusting Him to take me on through with it. As for what comes next, well, you need to love each other and to share your blessings. Love ya. Pass it on.
Pastor Dan
