Friday 5/3/13 God Still Heals (5)

Dear Father in Heaven, You have supplied us with another just perfect day and with all of our needs to go with it.  Thanks, I love You.  Thanks for waking us this day and watching over our families, ministry team and their families, our flock at the Bridges and also our online flock and all their families.  Dear Father in Heaven, thanks for watching over this line for so many, many years and thanks for trusting me to receive messages from You and working them forth.  Please now keep watching over all the folks listed above and this line and if You would once again protect the line and bless me with another message.  Also prepare me for doing work for You as I take part in the Support The Troops rally on the Capitol Steps tomorrow.  In the Name of Jesus, I want to do this right for You, as we honor our veterans and troops.  in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Dear brothers and sisters in Jesus.  It was and still is a beautiful day here at the Southern Location of the North Pole.  Tomorrow (Saturday)I will be with R.J. Harris, Dan Steel and the morning crew from WHP Radio on the Capitol Steps at noon for the annual Support Our Troops Rally.  I will be giving the Invocation and Benediction. If you can, come on out and support our troops.  Do not let the wars we are in be like Vietnam and have our troops think their country hates them.  Support the fine men and women of our Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and our local Guard units who are under the command of Governor Tom Corbett who will be there as a speaker.  Please pray for the event, and please, please pray for Dolores and me.  If you come, bring a flag to wave.  Veterans, wear your colors.  Okay, time to get to the message about how "God Still Heals."

Friday, May 3, 2013, God Still Heals, Day Five:

Isaiah 53:3 - He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and familiar with suffering.  Like one from whom men hide their faces.  He was despised and we esteemed Him not.  4 Surely He took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered Him stricken by God, smitten by Him and afflicted.  5 But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed.  6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.  (NIV)

Brothers and sisters, if God were to heal all of our hurts and pains, take away all of our cancers, heart problems, kidney problems, fix our broken bones, heal all the blind eyes, open ears to hear, fix broken hearts and take care of all of our earthly problems and our bodies were made whole again, but we never were healed of our sins, WHAT WOULD WE HAVE?  Nothing, my dear brothers and sisters.  God went to the cross to heal our souls, healing our bodies is a bonus deal with knowing our Lord Jesus, and if our tired bodies do not get healed here on earth, please remember this, that if we have come to Jesus, we have invited Him into our hearts and we remain true to Him in all we do.  If we work for Him as commanded, we have this promise.  Someday we will get a new body.  I want you to know that I have ordered my new body and I have asked our dear Lord Jesus if my body might have "six pack abs" since most of my life my present body has had a "keg."  I am just joking, I have come to the point in my life that I love Jesus, and I am going to work for Him and keep praying for Him to take away some of my pain and I am going to try my very, very best not to give Him more pain than I already have.  You see, when He was beaten, when those stripes were put on His back, back before I was born, some of them were caused by me.  You see, I am now "Born Again," and it was by those stripes that I have been healed of my sins, by His pierced sides I have been healed of my sins, by those nails that were driven through Him and those thorns on his head, they all helped heal me.  So My Dear Jesus ... I thank You and I stand ready to serve my King Jesus and I pray you do also.

So brothers and sisters, please try and do your best each day as you work for Jesus, please do not give up or turn your back on Him, thinking that running with Satan and his crowd is okay for now.  It is not.  Stand up, stand up for Jesus.  I know some of you hurt, and we shall never give up praying for you and please do not lose your faith, for tomorrow might be the day you are healed.  Tomorrow those of you in pain might wake up with less pain or no pain.  None of us is worthy of what Jesus has already done for us, yet we would love to have more.  And note I said we, for I would love my pain to go away.  Grant and Wanda were here today and helped round up goats for our vet to give them their shots.  I confessed to them, I can hardly move anymore, I really need your prayers.  But again I will tell you, I will not stop, I will not quit for OUR LORD JESUS IS STILL IN CONTROL.

Keep your faith, brothers and sisters, talk to God often, praise Him, sing to Him.  Hug and love your friends and tell them to pass that on.  Look around you on these spring days and see the beauty and then think of this ... WE HAVE NOT SEEN ANYTHING YET.  I'VE GOT A MANSION JUST OVER THE HILLTOP, WHERE I AM GOING TO LIVE WITH YOU AND WITH JESUS.  But not yet, we have work to do, we need to get the word out to the lost.  So brothers and sisters, you can do this, YOU CAN DO THIS.  You can get up in the morning and do something for Jesus.  If you are homebound, and people come to help you, talk to them about Jesus, be sure they are saved.  And if people are telling you they are Christians, be sure they are.  Brothers and sisters, I can say this without a doubt, I love Jesus very, very much and I love all of you also, and it does not make a difference what your color, your age, or what you look like.  I just want to love on you and someday hug your neck.  God is good, keep your faith.  Now please pray with me.

Dear Jesus, thanks for going to the cross for me and thanks for saving my unworthy soul.  Please, dear Jesus, help me to walk with You until the day You take me home, and I pray that You give me a long time here on earth to get others ready.  And Lord, when You are ready and if You want, I would appreciate some relief from pain, but if not, I am working for You anyway.  Bless my brothers and sisters on this line, Lord, I do believe they love You as I do.  In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Now go forth sharing those blessings, keeping your faith and working for Jesus each and every day.  I love ya, and yes, you may pass that on.

Pastor Dan
