Dear Father in Heaven, please this day, Bless America. I am sorry for the sins I have done, and I am sorry to see our country the way it is, and Father, I will try my very best to have our people return to You. Thanks for all of our military past and present, deceased and alive, who have fought to keep America free. Bless them, dear Lord, please bless them. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
John 15:13 - "Greater Love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends." Quoting Jesus from my New International Version of the Bible. (NIV)
2 Chronicles 7:14 - If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I forgive their sin and will heal their land. (NIV)
"Some gave all and all gave some." I have heard it often, but I do not know who to give the credit for the quote. It is a saying I have heard over and over again at military events or support your troop rallies. It is a fact, folks, anyone who ever served will tell you that. So today let me say this. To all of you who have served in our Armed Services, I just want to say thank you.
THANK YOU TO THOSE FROM THE ARMY, NAVY, AIR FORCE, MARINES, COAST GUARD, MERCHANT MARINES, THE RESERVE UNITS ACROSS THIS GREAT LAND, AND ALSO THE NATIONAL GUARD UNITS. Thanks for being willing to "lay down your life" for a friend and your country. Thanks for serving ... The United States of America, one Nation UNDER GOD! And thanks for following Jesus who did lay down his life to see us free ...
GOD, PLEASE BLESS AMERICA!
Brothers and sisters, I wrote once before this morning and I have no idea where it went when I hit send. So if you get two, you will find they are different for I forget within minutes what I just wrote. Anyway, have a blessed holiday, and please share your blessings. And if you see a brother or sister in a military uniform or police uniform or a firefighter, shake their hand and thank them for protecting us. Love ya. Pass it on.
