Tuesday Aug 2 2011 Heaven or Hell?

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Good Tuesday Morning, my dear brothers and sisters, today I would like to change the main prayer event from our Tuesday, pray for a cure day, to this... Pray For Life, Tuesdays. We have been praying for cures for all these things we get, and I have never featured week after week praying for life. Now you know what I am talking about here... It is time we pray together for those unborn babies, we need to be praying for abortion to end and the doctors and nurses know that if they do not get out of that practice and get forgiven for this SIN OF MURDER, THEY ARE GOING TO HELL. More on that in the message.

I received a picture of a beautiful baby this morning and just emailed back asking for permission to send it to all of you. PRAISE REPORT, PRAISE REPORT, PRAISE REPORT. God opened a door for Jim Orner for a new job. Also pray for Tom Sansoni, Tom recently lost his wife as she made the trip home to the Lord, and now is looking at going into his field with the Graham Ministries doing waste water work in other countries. Tom has applied and knows that if God wants him there, God will open the door. Pray, folks, as always, Thy Will be Done. Thanks.

Heaven or Hell? Day 2: Revelation 20:15 - And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (NIV)

The devil stopped by a church one day and the church was full. He stood up and told the people you had better run from me, for I want all of you... All but one person got up and left. One man remained saying, I am not afraid of you... Why not, asked the master of evil. The man stated, I have been married to your sister for 40 years.

Now while you and I know that was a joke, and we all know we have Jesus to hold onto, there is a time we should be fleeing the devil and his work and his work staff, and yes, Satan has a work crew.

I think the more and more we work for Jesus the more that master of evil will come after you and when he cannot get to you, often he will go after ones you love. But I also think we give Satan all too much credit for the sins we do. We need to stop blaming our sins on Satan or on anyone else.

It is time in all things that WE STAND UP AND TAKE PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY ON THINGS. Yes, we slip and we fall and we sin, and we need to grab hold of Jesus and hang on, really hang on.

When the end comes and we face judgment before Christ, we are not going to be blaming it on others and get away with it. Now I am not judging anyone on this message, I am just telling you facts as I see them, and if the SHOE FITS WEAR IT. I want to tell you again today, you have a choice... Jesus said this...

John 14:6 - Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (NIV)

Again I want to say that we, when leaving this great land of milk and honey that God gave us, this great land we all call America, when we leave we have a choice as to where we are heading... We are either going to Heaven, or we are going to Hell. I am not judging anyone on this, this is personal, it is between you and Jesus, for as His words say, I am the way. I am sure of one thing, I have made many, many mistakes in my life, it is called sin, and I am not going to blame it on my Mamma, or my daddy, or my brother. I have learned over the years, I had choices to make, I was raised up in the way of the Lord and walked away. No one made me do that, and although I would like to say that Satan has all the nice toys, that is just not a fact. Jesus is the one who furnishes your needs, our needs, my needs here on earth, and He has laid the plans for us to get into heaven. Up to us to make the choice... Jesus does things for all of us, even for people who curse Him and who disown Him. Think about it, you love Jesus and your neighbor, but your neighbor might like you, but tells you that Jesus is just not God, and there is no God. So you are working your gardens in your back yards and Jesus sends the rain. Both of you get the rain, both of you get the sun and God provides the needs even for those who don't think He is real. But the day will come when the way you live, the way you own up to Jesus, the way you love Him, the way you speak out for Him, will get your name in the big book, and that guy next door, UNLESS HE CHANGES HIS WAY, is just going to be tossed in the fire, HE IS GOING TO HELL, and that also is everlasting life. Everlasting life...

Now how does one speak out for Satan? He sins, that's how, and each time we sin we are striking out against God and speaking out for Satan, and that is of course my opinion this day, the way Jesus is giving it to me. I would love to be able to just tell you just how bad hell is so I could scare it out of you. Just me telling you the scriptures about being tossed into a lake of fire it would scare you so I think. Heaven is going to be beautiful, but for hell, not so. Tomorrow is Salvation Wednesday so I am going to start talking about how to get in line to go to heaven, and then on Thursday and Friday we will take a peek into what heaven will be like. One hint is we are going to walk on gold...

Dear Father in Heaven, Your word is very clear, we have a choice, we can decide to follow You or Satan, and I for one want to follow You. Some might do nothing and that is not following You and others will even speak out against you, say You do not exist. I know better and I want to work for You till I get called Home, and my home is not Hell. Lord, please today, plant these words You have given me on the ears that need it most, and that would be all of us. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
