Friday Aug. 12, 2011 Never Alone 5

Many are the woes of wicked, but the Lord's unfailing love surrounds the man who trusts in Him.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."

Good Friday, pray for the worker in God's Harvest Fields day. It is a beautiful day here at the Southern Location of the North Pole. Yesterday my dear wife and I decided to "go topless". Not often an old couple can get up that nerve, but we did. Yes, I dug out the old, old Caddy convertible and dropped the top and we went for a nice spin. Most times it is too hot or too cold, but yesterday it was just right, Goldie Locks. So pray, dear warriors, pray, for those heading on the road, standing in the church, singing in the choir, cooking at events for the church and community, and walking the fields of other countries seeking out the lost. Let's get it done for God, and work on that commandment where he orders us to the fields of Harvest. The workers are few, what are you doing to promote God?

Go to that good church, take what you learn and tell it to others... it will make you feel oh so good.

Never Alone: Day 5 Psalms 32:10 - Many are the woes of wicked, but the Lord's unfailing love surrounds the man who trusts in Him. (NIV)

John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." (NIV)

The main reason that I say we are never alone, and trust me I know that feeling of thinking I was alone, but the fact is, our Lord God and a whole bunch of people here on earth that truly love Him will never let you be alone. When I started looking up what makes us not alone, I find that it is love, love of God and of man who carry out God's work. When you go into the Bible and seek out love you could write about it for months and not get done. Today God pointed out to me two very good scriptures about this.

The first one is Psalms 32:10. That God unfailing love, meaning never ending and never not enough, and it surrounds us who trust in Him. Now if you don't trust in God, will He still love you, of course He will, but if you block His love by not trusting Him, how is it going to help you?So folks, let me tell you about the time years ago, oh, just over 30 years ago, now, when I went home from work late one night to find my house empty. Almost everything was gone. Was I robbed, no, my X wife just had her boyfriend load out his big rig and haul it off. I went into depression and did not care about a thing, but I then turned fully to God, first asking Him to take me home, but instead He sent a lady and man to watch over me so I would not do something dumb. They got me going back to church, and then this little nun who came to my service station would talk to me, and she would tell me that God had something better in store for me, just to trust in Him. And I started to trust more and more in God, and got real close to my big collie dog at the time. I would get at the big window in my house and look out and watch for God in the sky, asking Him to take charge of my life, and slowly I found His love was so true and in all I have been through that love was always there for me, just for the asking. So come into my heart, Lord, and get me out of this mess and depression I am in. Then it happened, God sent me someone who on our first date was not afraid to get on the back of a motorcycle, even though she had never been on one in her life. We went for a big ride, on our second date, she took me to a gospel concert and I met Duane Nicholson, Doug Boyer, Tim Beitzel, Neil Enloe, and a whole lot more, and I heard my best loved old hymn on the trumpet by Dr. Jerry Groff that night, and Neil came up out of the crowd and sang His song, The Cross is my Statue of Liberty, and I was hooked.

Folks, it is all about trusting in God, and trusting in friends that are near and dear to God and also to others. Some will be your friends only to tell others about your troubles, and folks, if you are lonely you don't need a shrink, you just need God and His willing workers. Trust in God, folks, trust in God and He will send in His troops of Christian workers to help you in times when you think you're alone... but the truth is you are never alone... if you just think about this last scripture I am going to use, it sums it up...

John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." (NIV)

God gave us His Son, and when Jesus returned to Heaven, yes, to come back for us someday, He left with us the Holy Spirit to comfort us when we feel alone... Holy Spirit, Thou art welcome in this place, means more than in the church or at your worship service or gospel concert, it means when you sing it out and ask the Holy Spirit, you are asking Him to come into you, your vessel for God, your body, your mind, your soul and your brain. After we pray today we are going to go out singing again and I just want you to sing over and over again that little song, Holy Spirit, Thou Art welcome...

I want you to open your heart and sing it out, and over and over again, this weekend, when you are in a crowd, or alone in your home, sing it out...

Dear Father in Heaven, protect Your workers and send us this weekend upon the lonely and help us show them the Love of God... In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Now go forth sharing the love of Jesus, and sharing the blessings He has poured out on you for He shall replace them over and over again... love ya, Pastor Dan.

And remember you are inviting the Holy Spirit into yourself today... come on let it ring out.

"Holy Spirit, Thou art welcome in this place, Holy Spirit, Thou art welcome in this place.
Omnipotent Father of mercy and grace, Thou art welcome in this place."

"Holy Spirit, Thou art welcome in this place, Holy Spirit, Thou art welcome in this place.
Omnipotent Father of mercy and grace, Thou art welcome in this place."

"Holy Spirit, Thou art welcome in this place, Holy Spirit, Thou art welcome in this place.
Omnipotent Father of mercy and grace, Thou art welcome in this place."
