Thursday Aug. 4, 2011 Heaven or Hell?

"And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away."

Good Thursday Morning, my dear brothers and Congratulations to Timothy and Rebecca VanAuken on the birth of their son yesterday. Zander VanAuken weighed in at just over 5 lbs. Everyone is fine. Please pray for this young couple, whom I married this summer. Timothy is 18 and proudly serving our country in the United States Army. Rebecca is just 15 and with the help of family will be raising the baby and going back to school. This young couple needs our prayers... Please do just that, pray, warriors, pray. PRAISE BE TO GOD, THEY ARE RAISING THE BABY AND DID NOT ABORT HIM... Amen...

Ahh, Thursday, and the day we pray for our families and also for our schools, which by the way will be opening in just a couple of weeks... Where did summer go? Please, if you pass a school in your travel, pull off the road, maybe in their driveway, and lay some prayer work down. Pray for teachers, students, custodians, secretaries and support staff, and also the cooks, yes, pray for those cooks... and remember the bus drivers also.

Heaven or Hell, Day 4: Revelation 21:3/4 3 - "And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." (NIV)

Well, my brothers and sisters, we talked first about Hell for a couple of days, and then yesterday on Salvation Wednesday we talked about what we must do to get into heaven, to reside with our Lord Jesus. I told you that the choice is up to you and that is a fact. Your choice. Both offer one thing in common, they both offer everlasting life. I told you some of the bad stuff if you choose to walk away from God or be a non-believer. I told you how if we go to hell we are going to burn, I mean it sounds to me like that for it is a lake of fire. But we have a choice. Listen to some of this.
Let's just look at the scriptures that God pointed me to today. The very, very first thing that jumps out at me if we choose to go to heaven, and again it is our choice.

The Bible tells us "He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people." Them is us, folks, we who are "Born Again". Think of it, we will be sitting with Jesus, I picture a nice big table, with Jesus sitting at the head of it, and maybe just eating this nice big steak, or maybe some fish, just broken apart and given out by Jesus Himself. Listen also to this, no more tears, for the Bible in these verses of today tells us God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and again their eyes meaning our eyes. Can you look back to when you might have fallen as a child and you had a boo-boo on your knee and you were crying and your mamma leaned down and kissed the boo-boo and then wiped the tear from your eyes? Remember how at a funeral of a loved one you would hug each other and lean on each other and try and wipe away the tears of others? NO MORE TEARS IN HEAVEN, NONE ZIP.

There will be no more funerals in heaven for there is no more death. Oh, "I'm going to live forever!!"

Listen to this one, all of you who suffer that daily pain, and so many of us have it... THERE WILL BE NO MORE PAIN... No more, all gone... Now if that is not enough to wet your whistle about wanting to go to heaven tomorrow we are going to look at some more...

Tomorrow we are going to do some street walking, ON GOLD.

Dear Father in Heaven, I love You, I love you. Lord, bless please the young couple with the newborn baby, and we give thanks to you for this baby today. Today on this line we pray for Him, and ask that You help these parents raise up this child in Your name. And Lord, I pray that You will help all of us watch over young children and help all of us work to keep children from being aborted. And Lord, today I pray for families, my family, and the families on this line, and our military families and most of all, Father, Your family, the family of God. In the name of Jesus, I ask that You look after our schools and the kids who attend them. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Now go forth and share your blessings that the Lord gives you daily... Love ya, Pastor Dan.
