Tuesday: Joyful Noise 2

I will sing of your love and justice!

Good Morning, dear brothers and sisters, and welcome to Schools day on the Carry The Light Ministries Praise, Prayer and Message line. Please pray for our schools, all of them, from early childhood, to those schools of higher education and for the public schools, private schools, schools back by religion, and pray for all who enter the doors. Also Don Saylor really needs our prayers as does his family. Prayers for Pastor Charles that he recovers from the stroke to preach again. Prayers for Greta as she learns to use her new legs. Greta has such a positive attitude and loves God so much. She lost both legs from the knees down.

Joyful Noise 2: Psalm 101: 1 - I will sing of your love and justice; to you, Oh Lord, I will sing praise. (NIV)

It was so much fun singing yesterday I just thought it might be nice to do it again.. I must tell you this, each week I hang a schedule of our next service at the Bridges and on the schedule I list the message title. This week I put the message title up and I really have them talking already. The message title! "Did you really marry your cousin?" I plan on going back through the Bible and showing how we are all related because, well, because we are all children of God. Even the non-believer is a child of God and God loves them as much as He loves us believers. As a parent sometimes we have to deal with what I call tough love. Think of how God must feel when one of His children stands and says there is no God... and think of how He feels when they don't make the cut for heaven. Now that is tough love. Ok, back to the joyful noise. Sometimes we who write for God and preach and teach stop short of things that need to be tied together. Let's go back to Psalm 101 again.

Psalm 101: 1 - I will sing of your love and justice; to you, Oh Lord, I will sing praise. (NIV) Now let's look at more of that same Psalm...
Psalm 101: 2 - I will be careful to lead a blameless life--when will you come to me? (NIV)
Here we are told that we should try and live a blameless life. Now you might ask, it really does not say that we should try and lead a blameless life, and I will tell you that the Bible, The Inspired Word of God, was written for us, for examples for us to live by and this is just one of the hundreds upon hundreds that are in the Bible. So let's just get over it and put ourselves right in the middle of this. We should try and live a blameless life, one that has us walking the talk, walking with Jesus and telling others. At the same time we are asking when will you come to me? Now I could put that in many ways, I guess meaning if someone is not saved and they are working on it, they might be asking God to come into their heart. Or one who might be saved and slipped might be asking God to come hold them up. Or one might be asking God for help. Oh, how often I have been working on a vehicle and asked God, please come to me and help me get this done. And of course one other thing might be we are asking God when are You coming for me? Over the last week I have sat beside people who were in those last hours and we have prayed for God to come to them.

So you see we can get so much out of these scriptures, so very, very much out of each verse. Let me finish verse 2 of Psalm of 101: I will walk in my house with a blameless heart... Now I can get out of this how we should LEAD our families, how we should work with God to not sin, and brothers and sisters, to me the only way to have a blameless heart is to live a life that is pleasing to God and stay away from sin. Ok, now we need to sing a song of praise for that is how this Psalm started. Let me find one we all might know...

"Majesty, worship His majesty, Unto Jesus be all glory, honor and praise. Majesty, Kingdom authority flow from His throne unto His own; His anthem raise. So exalt, lift up on high the name of Jesus. Magnify, come glorify Christ Jesus the King. Majesty, worship His majesty; Jesus who died, now glorified, King of all kings."

Folks, how nice it would be if everyone in the world would live by the Bible, think of it, people really loving each other. We are family, all of us... all related, all children of God. Think of the peace. Think of police officers having time to help a person across the street because there was no crime. Think of people hugging each other instead of shooting each other. Think of children being born because of love and not just sex. Think of it, think just how easy it would be if we all just followed in the footsteps of Jesus. I want to ask you this today... We might say we cannot do this, but I want you to tell me... Will you do your part? Will you try your very best to live a blameless life? Will you give out hugs and say nice things even if people just blasted you to the floor with their mouth?

I guess what I am saying is why can't we get this all started today, by all who read this line? Today will you share your blessings with................. with a hug and tell that person as you hug them "I love you."

Dear Father in Heaven, we love You and we want to hug on You this day and we want to follow in your footsteps. Forgive us of our sins. Lord, this is schools day on the line and we ask that You go into our schools and teach love to all who come in the doors. Lord, I pray today for Don Saylor and the Saylor family, I pray for Pastor Charles, and ask Lord, if You would please heal him so he might preach again. Lord, bless Greta and her new legs and help her learn to use them. Lord, bless our house and bless me and help me to lead a blameless life. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Now go forth sharing your blessings and please today, SHARE A HUG with someone and tell them you love them. And here is a hug and kiss from me to you. XOXOXO. And know this please, Jesus loves you and wants you to lead that blameless life, so let's do this for Him. Love ya, dan. XOXOXO
