Seek and you will find!
It is a beautiful day here at the Southern Location of the North Pole. Believe it or not, I am running a tad late today because, are you ready for this, we were, are you really ready for this... We were trying on those red suits and dresses. I wear the suit, thank you, but the time will come when I will wear the dress, and I am going to look good in my wedding gown. Schools day, schools day, dear old golden rules day... and the day we pray for our schools, you see, for Jesus will be in them for us. Remember yesterday, "Ask and it will be given unto you"? Ask, brothers and sisters, ask Jesus to go into our schools and anoint all who go through the doors. Please add Ann McNellis to your prayer list, I don't know her problem or condition just that she is in the hospital very sick. Keep praying for Don Saylor, and for Vicki. Vicki was to have a procedure yesterday, I did not hear from her on results.
Ask, Seek, Knock 2 Matthew 7: 7 - "Ask and it will be given to you; see and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." (NIV) (The quote is from Jesus.)
Let me see, out of the three, ask, seek, and knock, I think I seek more than I ask, and I don't knock as much as I should. But I am always seeking something, the older I get the more I am seeking things I have misplaced. Ah, but God is good because so far at least I stop seeking after I find what I was seeking. Brothers and sisters, there are a lot of things in life that we need to seek out, first and foremost is our Lord Jesus. However, once have asked Jesus into our lives and have been born again our seeking should be more and often. Why, because we need to now seek out His word, seek to learn more and more about Him, and we need to seek out the lost and teach them about Jesus and how to seek Him. We also need to seek out the good in people instead of looking always at the negative side.
We also need to seek out those who need help, and we need to be seeking different ways of helping those that need the help. You have heard me say this over and over again, we need to be praying for folks, but we also need to be "putting feet on our prayers" (Pam Bower) and helping those who we are praying for if we can. We cannot always help people but in a lot of cases we can.
So let me just wrap it up today with a review of yesterday and today. Seek out God and Ask Him what He wants you to do. And that's a Rap... Tomorrow we are going to "knock".
Dear Father in Heaven, we love you and today we just want to seek You and seek Your word. Lord, please direct us in all we do. Be with those on our prayer list, place your healing hand on Ann, Don and others on our list, and be with their families. And Lord, please bless us by being in our schools, for our kids are our future when it comes to running this country. Love you, Jesus, and I pray in your name... Amen.
Go forth, seeking out ways to share your blessings... Love ya, dan.
