Friday: The Plan 5

Anyone who believes in the Son of God has this testimony in his heart. Anyone who does not believe God has made Him out to be a liar, because he has not believed the testimony God has given about His Son. And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

Good Communion Morning, my dear brothers and sisters, and please remember it is world wide communion this Sunday and we are just getting a head start on it today. Today is Friday and what a beautiful fall morning it is. Today is the day we pray for all those who work in the fields of Harvest for Jesus bringing in the lost. My friends, in short what we should be doing is telling the unsaved "The Plan". I do believe that is way God has me writing about it. It is nothing new, I am just putting it in the words He gives me.

Praise report... Blanch is back home at The Bridges and is doing good... all honor to God. Prayers for Ruth who resides at The Bridges. I was with Ruth yesterday and she really loves the Lord. We prayed and placed her in the loving arms of Jesus. For the past two plus years Ruth has been in the front row at church, right up till last week. She is in her mid nineties. Please keep praying for the others on our prayer list.

The Plan 5 1 John 5: 10/12 - 10 Anyone who believes in the Son of God has this testimony in his heart. Folks, the plan we have been talking about is called "The Plan of Salvation" and it is something we should all learn so we can not just review it once in a while, go back over the scriptures to keep them fresh in our minds but something we should use when talking with others. It is wonderful that we can go and talk about Jesus but we also need to have support right from The Word, our Bibles.

There have been books and books and more books written about salvation. There are also dailies and people writing just like I do. But nothing is like backing up The Plan by using scriptures. You could be talking to someone about being born again and when they ask you where you found out about it, what are you going to tell them? Well I read it in a book written by Joe Blow and he talks about it. No folks, we need to back up what we say about Jesus with quotes from our Bible, the inspired WORD OF GOD.

Once again I just want to tell you that I believe what is in the Bible, each and every part of it. From these words found in Genesis, "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" through these words found in Revelation, "Yes I am coming soon." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God's people. Amen (NIV)

I believe that God created the heavens and the earth and I believe he destroyed it once by a flood. I believe in the virgin birth, I believe that Jesus walked this earth (The Word became flesh). I believe that Jesus healed then and now because He is still the same. I believe He was arrested and that He died on the cross, I believe He was risen from the dead, and I believe He walked the earth again. I believe that He rose to the heavens and is sitting with God our Father to Judge us, and I believe with all my heart, soul and mind that HE IS COMING BACK. I SAID HE IS COMING BACK. I SAID HE IS COMING BACK. Two more scripture quotes today, well maybe three...

The final step in the plan... It blends with 1 John 5: 10/12
Romans 10: 9/10 - 9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. (NIV)
Revelation 22: 7 - "Behold, I am coming soon! Blessed is he who keeps the words of prophecy in this book." (NIV) Word of Jesus
Revelation 22: 12 - "Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done." (NIV) Words of Jesus

Ok, let's now go to Christ asking forgiveness and having communion with Him...
Dear Father in Heaven. Forgive us of our sins, and wash us white as snow. I believe in the virgin birth of our Lord Jesus and the death of Him on the cross. I believe Jesus was risen from the dead and I believe He is coming back again to get us and to judge us. I believe Jesus is alive and well. Please Lord, forgive us and save us this day as we either come to You for the very first time or we renew in You through our communion service. Help us Lord. In Jesus name, I pray, Amen.

Luke 22: 19 - And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me." (NIV)
