Friday: Faith, Hope, Love 5

"Greater Love has no one than this"!

Good Morning, my dear brothers and sisters. Today is going to be a beautiful day here at the Southern Location and for us, I know it is going to be beautiful for God made it. Take that Satan, and know we on this line Love our Lord God. Today we are going to pray for all those who work for Jesus. All of you who work for Jesus... which means all of us on the line, RIGHT? You are working for Jesus in some way, right? Also please stop and pray right now for there has been a Coast Guard Plane and an Army Chopper that hit each other and went down. Pray for those who survived and pray for the search to find them. Both of the Air Craft had on board people working for our security. And it fits today's message about Love... "Greater Love has no one than this"!

Dear Father in Heaven. Please be on the site of the Aircraft that went down on our West Coast. Lord, let there be survivors and please help the others find them and keep the search and rescue parties safe. Be with families of this accident. Oh, God, I pray also today for those who are working in Your fields of Harvest and pray You open doors for us. Lord, thanks for the extra families this year and for all the help that is coming in. Lord, only with Your help can we feed the hungry and poor. Oh Lord, please bless them. Lord, be with Mark and with LeaAnne and others as they seek out jobs. Lord, please help the printing presses of money in America break down and those who are printing all the extra money and putting us in debt come to You knowing full well You will work it out. Five loaves and two fish and you feed thousands and only by You, Lord, will our jobs come back. Help us, Lord, but first may we humble to You. On our knees, Lord, we will come back... but only if we come to You. Lord, please bless Vicki, and Lord, in the name of Jesus, Heal her. All the glory and honor is now and will be given to You. I love You, Jesus, and I pray in Your wonderful and Holy Name... Amen.

John 15: 13 - "Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends." (NIV)

Let's pause right now and say thank you to those of our military who laid down their lives for our country, and that means laid down their lives for us. This including those who were on those aircraft last night on our West Coast. Each day thousands upon thousands of fine men and women go forth WILLING to lay down their lives for us. Each day our fine men and women in the Navy, Army, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, Merchant Marines and all of the National Guard units. And all of our Police Officers. I just went through the Pennsylvania State Police Citizens program and found out what our fine Pennsylvania State Police do and they have that "No greater love" because they are willing to lay down their lives. Our local police... the next time you see a man or woman in uniform, take time to thank them. Extend a hand to them and shake it and tell them you pray for them and that you love them. At the State Police Academy there was a class of REAL cadets going through training. I was blessed to be able to shake a few hands and just grab a hold of them and pray for them. Now my brothers and sisters please look at this...

Romans 5:6 - You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ DIED for the ungodly. 7 Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, CHRIST DIED FOR US. (NIV)

And this is worth repeating over and over again.

John 15: 13 - "Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends." (NIV)
John 15: 13 - "Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends." (NIV)
John 15: 13 - "Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends." (NIV)

No greater Love has been shown for us than those willing to lay down their lives to keep us safe and free, free as a nation... and no greater love has been shown by anyone other than our Lord Jesus that laid down His life for our sins. Listen to this, He created us, He saved all those who came to Him, He will save all those who come to Him. And for those of us who come, He will someday COME BACK FOR US. NO GREATER LOVE has been shown for us than our Lord who went to the cross for us and died for us, even before we were born. JESUS DIED FOR YOU AND FOR ME. Jesus knew us when we were on the cross, He knew us even before we were in the womb.

Now my dear brothers and sisters... I know all of you would lay down your lives for your child or grandchild. So I will ask you this... Are you willing to lay down your life for others and for Jesus? If you are asked by a nonbeliever who is holding a gun to your head... Do you love Jesus? What would you say? Would you lay down your life for Jesus as He laid down His life for You? Brothers and sisters, I pray I would have the nerve and courage to put my life on the line for you and for Jesus. I pray none of us are called to that, but Lord, please help us to be strong and ready and willing.

Dear Father in Heaven, thanks for Jesus who laid down His life for me. Help us stand ready to lay down our lives for others and for You if called on. Help us, Lord. In the name of Jesus...

Now go forth sharing those blessings, and special thanks for those sharing them with Carry The Light Ministries. Love ya, dan.

Thursday: Faith, Hope, Love 4

"You are my Son, whom I love!

Good Morning, my dear brothers and sisters. It is Thursday and that means it is family day on the line. The day we pray for families. Please remember to pray for the family in the White House, and also to pray for the FAMILY OF GOD. Other prayer requests today, for Millard Meyers who is in the hospital with an infection (Ohio) and also for Todd who has family issues and also Diverticulitis (spelling). Also please keep praying for Pastor Charles, Pastor Tony. Prayers of praise as the checks have started to arrive for Carry The Light Ministries additional 33... God is so good.

Faith, Hope, Love 3: Mark 1:10 - As Jesus was coming up out of the water, He saw Heaven being torn open and the Spirit descending on Him like a dove. 11 And a voice came from Heaven: "You are my Son, whom I love; with You I am well pleased." (NIV)

Here we see God The Father telling His Son, "I love You". Could we all learn a lesson from this? Just this morning on the local news it showed a man who is facing a murder charge for murdering his own baby daughter by beating her to death with a remote control. How in the world can people do this to anyone, let alone a baby, a harmless child? For sure before a trial is over for this man someone will try and make him out to be the victim. When will we learn from God and from this wonderful book we call the Bible? If we would only just follow the teachings of our Lord Jesus that He gave us when He walked the earth. Listen to these GREAT COMMANDMENTS...

Mark 12:30 - "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength." Mark 12:31 "The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself'. There is no commandment greater than these." (NIV)

Folks, you can think you have it all, but if you do not have love, you HAVE NOTHING! Throughout the Bible God talks about Love and Jesus talks about Love. Where do you stand on it? Do you love your neighbors, all of them? Some people don't even love their family members or at least they do not show it. If you truly have love you will show it. Jesus showed it in the way He lived on this earth, Jesus was always doing for others and setting examples for others to follow. How about you, you might say you love all others but does your lifestyle play that out? Maybe the reason some people do not love their neighbors as themselves is because they do not love or even like themselves?

Do you remember maybe back in school when you might think or even say to someone, "that person loves them self". Or that person sure is stuck on themself. So I ask this, how can one love others if they have no love or let me call it self respect for themself? Folks, this is what can happen if we let Satan take charge of our life. When you let Satan into your life you lose that self respect. When Jesus tells us that we should love our neighbor as ourselves, He was and is not telling us that we should put ourselves above others but was telling us to show at least equal love. So you let Satan into your life, How? Drugs, booze, SIN... and when you do this the love leaves. God is love, Satan is NOT. You might think Satan is love or the things that he brings forth are love. Oh, if I just have another bottle of beer I will feel so good. Folks, as we pray for family today let me ask you to pray for those who Satan has a grip on. Let's call them the really lost! Or dare I say it this way, let's pray hard today for the family of Satan to come over to God.

Faith, Hope, Love 4: Tomorrow I am going to talk to you about some really special love. Please come back and see what it is. Some I am sure you are aware of, others, well please come back.

Dear Father in Heaven, Let me start this morning by giving You praise for sending to us families that need help and let us ask You to help them and help us as we help them. Lord, praise to You for the checks coming in for this mission. Lord, we need Your help for this mission, really need it. Lord, You have told us to feed the hungry and we need You to multiply the food on our shelves. Lord, You are wonderful and, Lord, You are our Savior in whom I am proud and whom I love. Lord, I pray for the family who lives in the White House, the first family as we know them. Lord first that they come to You... fully come to You. And Lord, help us regardless of our feelings for the man as president; help us to remember he and his family are our neighbors. Lord, I pray for Todd and his complete family today as this man has family issues. And Lord, I pray for the family of the man, and even the man who beat his baby to death with a remote control. Oh Lord, if this world would really know and practice love, the wars would end. Lord, I pray today for the family of God that it grows and grows and will eat up the family of Satan. I pray that those in Satan's family will come to Jesus, come to our Lord and Savior. Lord, be with the families of Pastors Tony and Charles, and heal the pastors and bless the families. Jesus, You are my savior and I love You and I am pleased to serve You. In the name of Jesus, I do need help with this... as I pray also in the name of Jesus... Amen.

Go forth sharing your blessings... loving your neighbors and having faith, hope and love in all you do, and remember if you do not have love you do not have anything. Love ya, dan.

Wednesday: Faith, Hope, Love 3

If I have not love, I gain nothing!

Good Morning, my dear brothers and sisters, and welcome to Salvation Wednesday. Yes, the weeks go past so fast and we are back to Salvation Wednesday, the day we pray for the unsaved and for God to use us to bring them to the feet of Jesus to be saved. So dare I ask this question today? Are you saved? Are you "Born Again"? Are you washed in The Blood of The Lamb? Are you walking daily with Him? Are you ready to reach out to others in Jesus' name? Then let's get right to praying about this. First for forgiveness of our own sins, I will lead you in this for it is not a "we" prayer. Then we pray to go to work for Him... Let's do it...

Dear Father in Heaven, I love You, and right now I ask for You to forgive me of my sins by washing me in the blood of Jesus. And now, Lord, I ask that You make sure I am ready for Your Kingdom and please do it by looking inside my heart and then speaking to me. I really do want to walk each step of each day with You. I want people to see Jesus in me. I also want to work for You so I ask that You guide me into Your service and provide me with all the tools I need to get the job done in Your Name. Please help us all who are working for You to seek out the lost. Help us to overcome all evil that comes in our way and go where You send us to go. Thanks for blessing this line and I ask in the Name of Jesus that You keep blessing it. Lord, please be with Tom and Dianne as they travel and protect them... In The Name of Jesus, Amen.

Faith, Hope, Love 3 : 1 Corinthians 13: 3 - If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing. (NIV)

Please take time to read 1 Corinthians 13. It is about love. A few years back, maybe 10, I was told that if I was not blessed by God to be able to speak in tongues I would not get into heaven. I told the person they were wrong and they did not fully understand that gift. You see, folks, all gifts that are good come from God but the Bible tells us that of all the gifts we can receive that the Gift of Love is above all and if we do not have that gift we indeed have nothing.

1 Corinthians 13:1 - If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. (NIV)

Folks, I am talking about that Love Jesus talks about when He told us to Love our Lord God and to Love our neighbors. Love is very, very important and I don't want any of you to confuse love with sex. When most people hear the term making love, what comes to their mind? Sex, right? Well it should not be that way. Making love can mean lots of things, let me look at a few of them.

Making or showing love is the teenager who stops to help an older person across the street or hold a door open for them. Showing love is stopping to pick up pieces of paper when walking across a parking lot, not throwing some on the ground. Showing love is pushing a shopping cart back to where it is to be placed instead of just letting it set on the lot. MEN, showing love is making sure your family is raised in the name of the Lord and that you head up your family, in the name of Jesus. Showing Love is bringing home some flowers for your wife when there is no special occasion or when you have not messed up. Men, showing love is when you cook the meal because you wife is just as tired as you are. Ladies, showing love is when you take the gifts of your husband without questions like... Why are you bringing me flowers, what did you do wrong, or what do you want, a new car? You know where I am coming from... Kids, showing love is doing things for your family without being asked.

Here are a few examples of love, real love... Loving your neighbors regardless if they even talk to you. Love is cooking a little extra and giving it away... and folks, most of us heard this one on our wedding day...

1 Corinthians 13: 4 - Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs, 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always HOPES, always perseveres. 8 Love never fails. (NIV)

Tomorrow we are going to dig into more love and some more reasons and things about love.

Time to go, we already had our prayer, so it is time to tell you to love others by sharing your blessings, and have faith that God will replace what you share and then some. And remember this... IN GOD WE TRUST... and in God we love others and God..... love ya, dan.

PS, remember the burden I placed at your feet yesterday? Carry The Light Ministries has been asked to give food to 33 extra families this year. This above our last year total of 55. Your help would be appreciated... 16 Dewalt Drive, Mechanicsburg, Pa. 17050

Tuesday: Faith, Hope, Love 2

And now these three remain: Faith, Hope, and Love

Good Morning, my dear brothers and sisters. We are having a really nice light rain here at the Southern Location of the North Pole. It is Tuesday, and it is Schools day on the line, the day we pray for our of our schools, from preschool to the schools of higher education and public and private. Please keep praying for Vicki and her health. Also today for Pastor Charles, and Pat Parvin, both had strokes and are in recovery at the Bridges...

We at Carry The Light Ministries took a big step in faith, hope and love as we were asked to help 33 additional families this year, all from one location... We booked to do Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Boys and Girls Club (Downey School) in the city of Harrisburg Pa. The person who set us up for there knew we had the food pantry and told them if they have a few families in need of help to let us know... 33 families from the projects right behind the club. Folks, we did 55 families last year and a lot of these come back often (food bank is open year round). We took on the new families thinking we can get the canned foods and box goods even from our own dollars... THEN THIS CAME. A faithful reader from Lancaster, Pa., who I met about 10 years ago, Rick Brouse, made this suggestion, if each reader on the line would send in $5.00 if they could afford it, and more if they had it, we could furnish turkeys and hams for these 33 families as we did the other 55... So after praying about it, here is the address... Checks to Carry The Light Ministries, 16 Dewalt Dr., Mechanicsburg, Pa., 17050. Your help will be appreciated, and you will be blessed even more for when you give in faith, God will replace it. It is called sharing your blessings. After about 15 years of writing messages, I am asking for some help. I don't remember doing that before. Can we raise enough money to purchase 33 birds and hams? Have Faith, Have Hope, and do it for Love...

Faith, Hope, Love 2: I Corinthians 13: 13 - And now these three remain: Faith, Hope and Love. (NIV)

Have you ever hoped for something? Of course you have, you have prayed for it, and HOPEFULLY you had FAITH that it would come. Maybe in our younger days we might have called it a wish or something else. All who are parents have prayed and hoped that our children would grow up and be good Christ loving adults. We pray and hope that they work hard and get all the things in life they need and a lot of what they really want. We also have hope for other things. And you cannot separate faith and hope, my friends (tomorrow we will add in love). If you do not have faith, how can you even think about hope? Folks, how many of you have walked out on a limb in faith? I know many people who have. Let me roll back about 50 years and tell you about a few young men who walked out in faith to sing for the Lord. Picking an area in the United States where God sent them to sing... and sing they did, and the name of the Couriers was made, and although those guys, who made the walk back then, three are still walking out in faith and one is home with the Lord. Many others have done the same and from Dave, Duane and Neil to the current Couriers, Tim and Larry, the guys are still stepping out in Faith, with Hope that the Love of God will be shared with all who they come in contact with. Pastor Larry Hale and his wife stepped out in faith to go to Glendale Church of God in Marysville, Pa. (check their website for revival services this coming week) And now we in Carry The Light Ministries is taking another step out. There is a song we sing, "Step into the Water", and when we work with God, we wade out a little bit deeper. Folks, are you ready today when you Hope for things to take that step out in Faith? And now the big question of the day before I check out... Do you have faith in our Lord Jesus and hope that you will make it to Heaven? Folks, Faith and hope come from God, that is REAL faith and hope.

Now let me add in this before we pray. This from Romans 15:13 - May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (NIV)

Dear Father in Heaven, through Faith in You we have Hope for the future, so we ask today for forgiveness of sins and we ask that You will walk with us each day and that You will take with us each day and I pray that we slow down and take time to listen to you. Oh Lord, bless the missions of all who walk out in faith with the hope of Your love backing the missions. Lord, thanks for this line, and today I just ask You to be in our schools. We know that many wanted to throw You out, but we want You in, not just a sign on the wall, we want You, through the power of the Holy Spirit, to anoint all who go to our schools for any reason. Your Word tells us that when we stand for You, others will attack us, all I can say to that, Lord, is I know I have You, so let them "come on down" and we will try and turn them from evil to Good... We shall not run, we shall stand on The Word of Christ, Lord. Help us. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Now go forth sharing your blessings and helping others. Please remember our walk out in faith, if you do not have anything to send, pray for us please, and if you send something, pray for us also... and remember I love ya, dan.

Monday: Faith, Hope, Love 1

Love never fails!

Good Morning, my dear brothers and sisters. What a wonderful day we have been blessed with.
Today is Monday and the day we pray for our leaders and for our military and for all those who work to keep us safe and free, including our police and firefighters. And right now I am hearing the sirens of the big fire trucks and ambulances heading to an accident near our home. God bless these men and women who most work WITHOUT pay. So please support your local fire companies with prayers and put some feet on those prayers and bless them with some dollars.

Also brothers and sisters, Carry The Light Ministries has been blessed again. We have been asked to go to the Boys and Girls Club in Harrisburg Pa to be Santa and Mrs. Claus. We picked a date that fit, then the people who wanted us there as the Claus's told them about our food pantry and asked if any families needed help. And we have taken on 33 new families for food. Last year we helped 55 families, so folks, you do the math. We have decided that the new families will get canned goods and boxed goods as others, but to get them turkeys and hams we need to have a sponsor. Even if we just take a turkey along it would be nice. So start praying about this please...

Please keep praying for Vicki. They found some rare tumor and she will be calling the doctor today. Please add Stanley to your prayer lists. Stanley is one of our flock at the Bridges and has been dragging for a while. Stanley is up in his 80's and still goes hunting, last year shot an elk, and this year is going again. Told us our food bank will get half. (Anyone have a big used chest freezer?)

Faith, Hope, Love: Matthew 17: 20 - Jesus replied, "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible to you." (NIV)

Let's today talk about faith. How much faith do you have? Do you pray for healing or for money to buy fuel and nothing happens? Could it be your lack of faith? How much faith do we really have?

Do you know that we must also use good judgment when it comes to faith? Oh, you want me to explain that one. Folks, we must not test God when it comes to our faith, we just must have faith in God and believe. Let me just make up a couple of examples... Ok, you have faith that when you cross the street you are not going to get run over by a vehicle. Do you just walk out in traffic saying no one will hit me because I have faith that God is protecting me, or do you cross at the cross walks, look both ways till traffic is clear before you cross, and then have faith that no vehicle will hit you? Do you have faith that God will heal you but never, ever go to the doctors that God has lent talent to? Or do you go to your doctors and get treated and have faith that God is working directly and also through your docs? I have three doctors, my family doctor, a pain doctor and the one who handled my cancer. All of them have faith in God through our Lord Jesus and each one of them prays with us when we are in the office... God is good. Now you say, why go to the doctors if you have faith in God healing you? Listen to me on this one... You pray for food, does God provide this food? Yes, but the sky does not open up and food drop on your plate because you have faith. God works through the hands of many on this food chain. Think of it from the farmers, who go to the farm stores to get their seeds, so it starts way before the planting. The fields get readied, and then the planting and the tending and all of that and then the harvest. Oh, and God does send the rain, and if in a dry area, He lent talent to men and women to put in systems to water the plants...

So if we put our faith in God, and we really listen to Him, it will work out. Oh, and that mountain that needs moved, and the Bible tells us in a quote from Jesus that we can move the mountain. Folks, men and women of faith have moved the mountains, think about it when driving out the Pennsylvania Turnpike and you go through the tunnels. How much faith did it take to make those tunnels, how much of that mountain had to be moved? Again here I go with a quote from my singing partner, we need to put "feet on our prayers" (Pam Bower), Not only for helping others, as in we are praying for our neighbors to have enough to eat, we put feet on those prayers and go and buy them a big sack of potatoes. Oh Lord, I need gas in my car... do you not go to the gas station to get it?

Faith in God involves the hands of many people working together in that faith. One last example, we pray for healing and a person still dies. What about that, you ask. What about it, Pastor Dan, we pray and pray for healing and then they pass away. Folks, I must tell you that when God takes you home, if you believe in Jesus, which is the only way home, you will be healed, zip, zap, pain is gone, sickness is gone, and the person is home with Jesus. FAITH... More on Faith, Hope and Love tomorrow...

Dear Father in Heaven, I love You and I have faith in You. I ask today that You are with our president and that if he is not saved that he will come to You and humble himself to You. I pray for His family and all of our other leaders in Washington and in our State Houses across this great Nation You have lent to us. Lord, I pray also for our military, first for our veterans that You will watch over them and provide for them all their needs and also for their health care. I pray for our current military and not just those in war zones. I pray that You bring our ones in unsafe areas home, and that the wars and rumors of wars will end and You will come back to us. Thanks, Lord, for our police and firefighters, and we pray You keep Your hand of protection upon them. Also all those in the medical field, from those who work the streets on ambulances to those who do research and to those who treat families. Lord, bless them with knowledge and talent that we know is on loan to them from You... In the name of Jesus, I pray, and please Lord let me add this tag, please heal Vicki and remove that tumor. Thanks Jesus.

Now folks, have a very blessed day, have faith, have hope, and share your love today with others... and be sure to share your love of Jesus and share from your many blessings... love ya, dan.

Friday: Silver, Gold, Platinum, Clay 5

But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands!

Good Morning, my dear brothers and sisters. Today is Friday, "blessed Friday" (RJ Harris WHP Harrisburg Pa) and the day we pray for all those who are working for the Lord in His Fields of Harvest. And again I will say this, we are to all be working those fields. ARE YOU WORKING THEM??

My dear brothers and sisters, we need to be praying for this country more and more. I really and truly think we are in the end times or at least in America... Abortion, Gay Marriage, Drugs being sold on every corner, corruption in Washington and our State Houses and if you have not noticed, our President has not gone to church since he took office. We need to pray for this man to be saved.

I want you to start doing something, and not for me. Everyone wants to take "In God We Trust" off buildings, off our money, and soon there is a Muslim stamp being made for the our mail. First I ask that you do not purchase this stamp. Next I ask that on your United States Mail you write across the front and the back.... "In God We Trust" And also put it in the closing of all your emails. I am going to try and remember that also. One church in our area has purchased rubber ink stamps with it on and gave it to their members. Let's take our country back one step at a time, and let's get it STARTED NOW. I just heard on the news that the nuts who are wanting to control the carbon now want us to get chickens for pets instead of dogs and cats (Fox Cable News Today). I have chickens. and folks. Martin sleeps in my bed along with two other dogs, I be darned if I am sleeping with my chickens.

This might sound funny folks, but it is not funny anymore. Some of these folks are NUTS. And folks, some of our churches including some of the main line churches are giving in to this junk, supporting abortion rights and also the gay stuff... Come on Christians, BE A CHRISTIAN.

Silver, Gold, Platinum, Clay 5. Jeremiah 18: 1 - This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord: 2 "Go down to the potter's house, and there I will give you my message" 3 So I went down to the potter's house, and I saw him working at the wheel. 4 But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him. (NIV)

My brothers and sisters, all the metals that I talked about this week, silver, gold, platinum, you need heat to shape them. You could not just pick them up and rework them by hand, reforming them is very different to do, but the clay, well it can be worked and reworked over and over again. I remember as a little tike (yes, back when the streets were still dirt) I had clay that I played with. I would make little cars and trucks (they did not look all that good) and the next day I could make a dog or cat (even a chicken, thank you). I would roll it into log string-like things and just play and play with this clay (no TV back then). When bed time came I would roll it into a ball and put it on my dresser for another day. A few years back, maybe 10 by now, Pastor Jamie Kjos was preaching on the Potter and while he delivered his message a man worked the potter's wheel on the stage beside him. He worked and worked until by the end of the message this young potter formed a really nice big flower pot, and at the second service he did the same thing. Now this potter would work it and rework it till it just was what he wanted.

So let me get to my point... Of all the things that I have talked about this week which one is most like us? Are we like silver, or gold, or are we even like platinum? Remember the song, make new friends and keep the old, one is silver and the other gold. Which one does God like us to be like? Folks, it is the clay, the thing that costs the least but can be worked and reworked. Folks, don't be like the silver, or gold, or even the platinum.. Pray that God will treat you like clay and that He will work you and rework you into what He wants you to be. Brothers and sisters, God does not work us into something and then go off and forget us, He keeps working on us over and over again till He gets us just like He wants us to be. And folks, I want you to really think about this. Sometimes He will keep reworking us by putting us different places. I want to use Jan and Phil Enloe as an example. Phil for a long time sang along side his brother Neil in the Couriers, then out on his own with his wife singing and sharing the Lord. Just recently Phil and Jan were reworked into pastors to start up a new church. You see, we must always be like clay that is never fired (hardened); we must always be ready to be shaped and reshaped, worked and reworked by the hands of God. And that work will not stop till we get called home. God will never harden you so that you cannot be reworked but Satan will try to get you into his fire so you are hardened. Today I ask you, are you ready to be the clay on the potter's wheel, are you ready to be worked by The Potter, our Lord Jesus? I've been to The Potter's House, and I have been reshaped from my past, but brothers and sisters, I still am a sinner and The Potter is still working on me and I pray today you are clay in His hands. You know those hands, the ones with the nail print in them. AMEN.

Dear Father in Heaven, let me be the clay today and please mold me and make me the way You want me to be. And when You want to put me someplace else, let me be the clay again and again. And please use me in the fields of harvest. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Time to tell you to share those blessings, and tell you to be like the clay in The Potter's nail pierced hands... Yes, One Nation Under God, love ya, dan.

Thursday: Silver, Gold, Platinum, Clay 4

He will sit as a refiner!

Good Morning, my dear brothers and sisters. It is a great morning here at the Southern Location of the North Pole. Yesterday I got the sleigh out of the garage and loaded it on a flatbed trailer for its trip to The Bridges where it will be used for a Christmas display. Yes, old Santa did this yesterday and it brings a smile on people when they see the sleigh on the trailer, see the license tag on my tow vehicle which reads IB SANTA, and then they look in the truck and see the real guy. Sorry about yesterday, I just never did get caught up. Also one or two days next week I might be off line as we have purchased a new computer and I will be TRYING to get it going.

Thursday is family day on the line so please pray for families, start with yours, and please pray for the family in the White House, and pray most of all for the family of God. Please keep praying for those on our daily prayer list. And remember to also keep praying for the missionary that is traveling in a foreign country. Also, is your marriage in trouble, or do you just want to bring it nearer to God? We have a couple on this line that would like to help. They are Rob and Martha Campbell from Newport Assembly of God and if you let me know you are interested, I will hook you up with them.

Silver, Gold, Platinum, Clay 4: Malachi 3:3 - He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver. (NIV)

Brothers and sisters, our Lord God will sit like a refiner of Silver. I had the following sent to me from my singing partner, Pam Bower...

(Begin) This verse puzzled some women in a Bible study and they wondered what this statement meant about the character and nature of God. One of the women offered to find out the process of refining silver and get back to the group at their next Bible Study.

That week, the woman called a silversmith and made an appointment to watch him at work. She didn't mention anything about the reason for her interest beyond her curiosity about the process of refining silver.

As she watched the silversmith, he held a piece of silver over the fire and let it heat up. He explained that in refining silver, one needed to hold the silver in the middle of the fire where the flames were hottest as to burn away all the impurities. The woman thought about God holding us in such a hot spot, then she thought again about the verse that says: "He sits as a refiner and purifier of silver." She asked if it was true that he had to sit in front of the fire the whole time the silver was being refined. The man answered that yes, he not only had to sit there holding the silver, but he had to keep his eyes on the silver the entire time it was in the fire. If the silver was left a moment too long in the flames, it would be destroyed. The woman was silent for a moment. Then she asked the silversmith,"How do you know when the silver is fully refined?" He smiled at her and answered, "Oh, that's easy - when I see my image in it."

If today you are feeling the heat of the fire, remember that God has His eye on you and will keep watching you until He sees His image in you. (End)

I think this tells it just like it is. Jesus wants to see Himself in us and when we reach that point others will also see Jesus in us. Folks, one of the best ways to witness for Jesus each day is to live for him and let others see Jesus in You. Now my big question for you. Can others see our Lord Jesus in You, are you walking daily by the Saviors Side, and are you indeed washed in the Blood of The Lamb? Folks, Works will not get us into heaven, but once we are saved we surely need to do work for the Lord. And we will be judged on those works and others will also be watching us. Look at it this way, if you are saying you need the Lord to others and then you are living in the swamp of life, what is that telling them? Before I was saved I had a person that would talk to me about Jesus, in fact he was a pastor, but his life was not being lived that way. He would cheat people in his working of another job. He was talking the talk, but not walking the walk. Walking the talk is not always easy but we must really work hard to do it...

Let's go to the Lord... Father in Heaven, I want to be refined like pure silver so that you can see your face in me. I want to walk with You and talk with You, and ask today that You clean me again of my sins and then hold me up so I don't slip and fall. I want to walk the talk, Lord. Please today be with families, all the families on this line including mine and, Lord, I pray for Your family also and I want to be part of that family. I ask in the name of Jesus, and Lord, I ask that You bless Rob and Martha on their marriage mission. In the name of the most high, our Lord and Christ, Jesus. Amen.

Now go forth, walking the talk, getting refined like silver and gold and platinum and sharing your blessings. Tomorrow we find out about clay... love ya, dan.

Wednesday Silver, Gold, Platinum, Clay 3

He will sit as a refiner!

Good Morning, my dear brothers and sisters. It is SALVATION WEDNESDAY, and the day we pray for those who might not be saved and pray that God uses us to bring in the lost. Other prayers today for Noah, a child with cancer. For mother and daughter, Jodi and Karyssa.
The daughter is in the hospital and the mother is, like most mothers, falling apart. For Bill in the hospital and for Josh about his job and Mark for a job.

Folks, I am running very late today as this morning I was blessed with being able to go to a food store and pick up the bread that was pulled from the shelf. This goes into our food freezer lockers for our folks who use our food bank. Now we are heading out to the doctor, so I am going to do something very different. I just want to pray and then write later on.

Dear Father in Heaven, please clean us this day, please wash us so clean and then hold us to the fire until you can see us in You. Lord, now use us to bring in the lost to be saved. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Back at you later, either today or very early tomorrow. Life is good, even better when you love God and share your blessings... Love ya, dan.

Tuesday: Silver, Gold, Platinum, Clay 2

For you know that it was not with perishable things like silver or gold that redeemed you.

Good Morning, my dear brothers and sisters and welcome to Schools day Tuesday. It is a beautiful morning here at the Southern Location of the North Pole. Tuesday, the day we pray for our schools and all who go through the doors. Please keep praying for Vicki who is waiting test results and also start praying for Joan who is being checked for stomach cancer. Also please pray for Beverly who was in an accident with a deer and for "Gabby" and her family and extended family.

Notice, there will be a small dog rescue expo this Saturday at the York Fairgrounds. All sorts of good things going on.. Check it out on Rescue Me Yorkie Web Site. And Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there suited up for pictures with your dogs All dogs welcome that are under 23 pounds. Pictures are $10 dollars with the money going to the Yorkshire rescue group. Want to guess who Santa and Mrs. Claus will be? Stop and see us... York fair grounds this Saturday. Look for the big North Pole Lines Eagle Bus.

Silver, Gold, Platinum, Clay 2: 1 Peter 1:17 - Since you call on a Father who judges each man's work impartially, live your lives as strangers here in reverent fear. 18 For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, 19 but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. (NIV)

Yesterday I talked about Gold and just how some people on earth seem to worship it while our Lord God look at it as pavement for His streets in Heaven. Today lets take a look at silver and what it might be like. You know years ago our coins had real silver in and today, is there even a trace of it?

Today I confess again that I have some of those old silver coins, and I really should sell them off. They are in a fire proof safe along with some important papers. I do want to point this out that all should have a fire proof safe or box to keep important papers but even they will burn if the fire gets hot enough. We can look at silver coins or things made from silver. I have some Native American Jewelry, or Indian Jewelry, and it has real silver in it and it really is beautiful and all handcrafted. But it is what it is, it is just beautiful handcrafted "stuff" and if we had a fire it would all melt down.

If you notice that in our scripture today it reads in part, "Perishable things such as silver or gold." Yes, silver and gold are very valuable but also very, very perishable. It can melt, it can go down in value, it can grow legs (grow lets = being stolen) or it can just be misplaced or lost.

Now while we do have some great examples of the valuable side of the silver or gold, one stands out in my mind... Oh you could have a great silver watch or that gold watch from retirement but the most valuable things that are referred to as silver or gold are friends. Do you remember this from your Childhood days and Vacation Bible School? It was a song...

"Make new friends and keep the old, One is silver and the other gold."

So again today as I close, I ask you.... which is best, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Clay.. and which one does God refer to in us and where should we put our earnings, etc.?

Dear Father in Heaven, my mind is not today like it should be and I need your touch. I also ask that You consider forgiving us from our sins and start us out fresh today. Please watch over our schools and keep them safe and please be in them at all times. Lord, bless all who enter the doors, and Lord, be with those on our prayer list and keep Your healing hand on them. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.

Now go forth sharing your blessings and making new friends as you keep the old... love ya, dan.

Monday: Silver, Gold, Platinum, Clay 1

This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord!

Good Monday Morning, my dear brothers and sisters. I love this day, I really do, and I love this global warming we are having. Yes, it is just above freezing at the Southern Location of the North Pole.

Today is Monday and the day we pray for our leaders in Washington DC and our leaders in our State Houses across this great nation. We need also to pray for our local leaders and remember those who lead your school districts. Please put on the top of that list prayers for Salvation for them all, for if they all came to Jesus, this country would be running a lot differently. For one thing there would be more children because there would be far less abortion. I pray someday it all stops, but for now it sure would be nice if it were outlawed. Do I get any amen's on that today? Also on Monday we pray for our veterans and for our military and brothers and sisters, please, please pray that our President stops acting like a rock star and starts acting like a man who has men and women fighting two wars. We need to pray about this and then do some e-mailing to the White House and to our other leaders. GIVE OUR MILITARY WHAT THEY NEED TO WIN, OR BRING THEM HOME, don't just let them there to be killed. Is this Nam all over again?? So pray for our people in the AIR FORCE, NAVY, ARMY, MARINES, COAST GUARD, MERCHANT MARINES, and all the RESERVE UNITS.

Please also pray today for Vicki as she waits for results of tests. Pray for Pastor Charles, Pastor Tony and their families.

Silver, Gold, Platinum, Clay. Jeremiah 15:1 - This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord: 2 "Go down to the potter's house and there I will give you my message." (NIV)

So you say you want to put some valuable "stuff" back for retirement or for your children when you leave this earth. What would you want to put back? What is worth saving today? You invest in the stock market and the bottom falls out and your dollars start to go away. People tell you to stay in for the long term and it keeps coming down. Soon your investment is all but gone. I confess a few years back I took some money from my retirement funds and went to my bank, sat down with a person who was to be an investor. I gave this money over to this very young person to invest and I confess again I did not watch it. This was back in the 90's folks. The stock market went up for a while and then the thing came down; dumb me, thought the person at the bank was watching my investment as they were an investment officer. Then I got to sing this old song... "Since you’ve gone". Yep, it was down what it climbed and about half of what I put in. I got the notice and went to the bank to find out my investment person did not work there anymore and they do not watch the money... Since you’ve gone? So I confess again it made me even stronger in God... I will get to that later. I must tell you I did not lose a dime this time for I don't have anything in the stock market to lose. I will try and remember to tell you by the end of the week where I invest so please read all week.

Lately I have watched the ads of people telling you to invest in Gold, over a thousand dollars an ounce... a thousand dollars an ounce, gosh if you got that and you dropped it on the floor one of my dogs would eat it. Now that reminds me of when I was but a child. One Christmas I got a new five dollar bill for Christmas and I dropped it on the floor and my dog ate it. This was a lot of money back in those days so I took my beloved dog and gave him a good dose of "Cod Liver Oil". That was the stuff my mamma gave me once a week. I put the dog in the basement and went to bed, the next morning I went to the basement and what a mess, all over the floor, oh what a mess. I am not spelling this out for you, so you know what the mess was. I looked and looked as I cleaned for my five dollar bill. Then I found out later he could not pass it. It was counterfeit!! Ok, I made that up (about 50 years ago).

Ok Dan, get back on track. So what would you buy, gold? As I said it is over a thousand dollars an ounce and once you get it, it could go down or up, but is worth nothing just laying in your house. Think of a person who has gold in their house and they have a fire... melted. Really, is Gold the place you think God wants you to invest? What would God invest in, would it be Gold? Not likely, for up in heaven Gold is used to PAVE THE STREETS. So as I close up for today, let me ask just a couple of questions. Where are you going to invest? Or will you hang out till the end of the week for me to tell you where to invest? Also think about where God invests, think deeply on this one folks...

Dear Father in Heaven, Thanks for the message of today. I want to really talk to You today about our leaders. Lord, I want to pray for our President and pray first for his soul and also for the souls of his family. Lord, I pray they come to You and I pray that for all of our leaders. I pray they run the business of their job past you in prayer and then listen to what You say. Our pledge says "One Nation Under God" and indeed of we are a Nation that tells all we are under You, then we should be indeed bringing the business of our Nation to You. So Lord, today I am going to be bold and ask that You hound our leaders some and Lord, help us all work at them to come to You. Lord, it is time we take Your Word seriously and take the Good News to all the world and we should stop off in Washington. Open the doors for us. Lord. Lord, bless in the name of Jesus, Vicki, Pastors Charles and Tony and their families. Lord, bless, protect, and love on our military, let them feel You with them on all of their missions, and Lord, in the name of Jesus, in the name of Jesus, I ask that You bring them home safe and very soon. In the name of Jesus, the one who died for us, I pray and all of God's people said AMEN.

Now go forth on this new day, loving on God, sharing hugs and your blessings with others and telling them about Jesus and His love. Love ya, dan.

Friday: Ask, Seek, Knock. 5

"And I will do whatever you ask in my name."

Good Morning, my dear brothers and sisters. It is a beautiful day here at the Southern Location of the North Pole. It is Friday and the day we pray for all those who work for our Lord Jesus in the Fields of Harvest. Please remember that we all need to be working for Jesus in the Fields of Harvest and remember also that those Fields of Harvest might even be under your own roof or next door or down the street. Pray for the unsaved and for Jesus to place you so that you may witness to them.

Please keep praying for Ann McNellis, for Pastors Charles and Tony, and for their wives. Pray for kids at the Cumberland Valley School District, as there are eleven with the swine flu. Also pray for Wanda and her family, her son and daughter in law also have that same flu, and it is bad. Please keep praying for Pat as he walks that mission trip.

Ask, Seek, Knock 5: John 14: 13 - "And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it." (NIV)

Folks, ask, seek, and knock does not mean that you go to the Cadillac Dealer and ask the price of the car, seek to drive it, and then knock on the door and Jesus will give it unto you. No, this Asking, Seekingn and Knocking is to forward the Kingdom of God. Let me put it into the words today of us working in the fields of Harvest... This is about how we should do this...

ASK God to use you in the fields of Harvest, ask Him to point out where He wants you to work in the fields. Ask Him how He wants you to work. Ok, so you get on your knees and you ask God, please use me in the fields of Harvest, and Lord, where do you want me to go and who do you want me to witness to, and then, And Then, AND THEN, Listen to God to speak to your heart and follow Him. He might want to send you to a foreign country like Pat who we are praying for or He might want you to go out and sing on the gospel trail like He did with Tim, Larry, Duane, Neil and Dave and a lot more. Or maybe He wants you to be a pastor, even one that was called later in life. But think beyond that, He might want you to cook for a neighbor or clean a house for someone and witness to them as you do the work. He might just want you to witness to folks at the water cooler or coffee break room at your present job. ASK and ask often about how to witness to others.

SEEK out those people in the place where God has asked you you to go. Seek out the lost at those places and also seek out those who are already saved for you can be part of a team. Remember that there are many, many mission teams. SEEK also God's Word that you might share it with others.

KNOCK. Oh here comes the hard part for us Christians, we might need to go door to door and knock on them. A lot of Christians laugh and make fun of the Jehovah Witnesses or the Mormons who go door to door. How many have hidden from them, or told jokes? What do you call two bikes chained to a stop sign? A Mormon Parking lot. Yes two young men working their way through the church often ride bikes... But we Christians, and folks, like it or not the Mormons and the Jehovah Witnesses who are born again will be in heaven, the question might be is we who CLAIM to be Christians, will we all make it? Yes, knocking on doors is not easy. I remember going door to door in a trailer park inviting people to vacation bible school, and I also remember going out and working on a building fund. On the building fund we were knocking on church members doors, but regardless of it, knocking on doors is not easy. But we need to do it. First of course is to knock on the door of Jesus and seek Him out and ask Him for Help.

ASK, SEEK, KNOCK, Again I ask you to go to your Bible and read Matthew 7: 7/12 and study it.

Dear Father in Heaven... We want to ask You today first to forgive us of our sins and then to put us to work for You. We are seeking You today and we want to go out and seek out the lost, and Lord, we are knocking on Your door today and asking You to tell us where we should go and knock on doors or call on the phone, where You want us to work for You. In the name of Jesus, I ask for You to use us, and to protect Pat and all who work the fields of Harvest. Lord, I pray today for healing for Ann and for Pastors Charles and Tony and for You to keep their wives strong. Lord, please keep blessing this line, and Lord, I thank You for doing that. Please also keep me writing if that is what You want me to do. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Time to say it folks... Ask, Seek, Knock, and share your blessings. Here is a suggestion, someone new moving in to your neighborhood... take them a big basket of canned foods to stock their shelves. Just another way to share the blessings... Love ya, Dan.

PS we are singing at Perry Village in New Bloomfield on Saturday at 2.00 PM

Thursday: Ask, Seek, Knock 4

Those who seek me find me.

Good Morning, my dear brothers and sisters. It is a beautiful day here at the Southern Location of the North Pole. We are to have an all day rain and it is cool, the counties above us are to get snow.

Wow, "Global Warming" Thursday is family day and folks, please pray for families today and remember to pray for the family of God. The best way to put families together, correction, the ONLY way to put families together, is to put them together with God at the head. Please pray for the Saylor family as Don has gone home. Remember to keep Pat, our missionary from Newport Assembly of God in your prayers and please do this daily till he gets back home safe. Please pray for America and not just God Bless America, pray that we get in line with God in America. If you have not noticed we have drifted from God. Listen. some of the same people who are fighting to keep the Cross and the Ten Commandments in public places are some of the same people who will say it is ok to abort unborn babies. "Go Figure." Brothers and sisters, we need to get back to God and we need to follow His Word as it is in the Bible and we need to follow all of it. That means to REPENT.

Ask, Seek, Knock 4: Proverbs 8: 17 - I love those who love me, and those who seek me find me. 18 With me are riches and honor, enduring wealth and prosperity. 19 My fruit is better than fine gold, what I yield surpasses choice silver. (NIV)

Knock, Knock... Who is there? It is me, Lord, Joe... Joe who? Joe Jones... Who? Joe Jones from America... Wait a minute. Joe, Yes, Lord. You are not in the book, goodbye. Knock Knock who is there? It is me, Satan? COME ON IN...

Your choice folks, in the end, which door will be opened unto you? The Bible tells us that we will all stand before the Lord and He will judge us. Will you need to go to the second door or will you get in at the first one?

God is so good and we are told that if we ASK Jesus and SEEK Him, and then if we Knock, the door will be opened unto us. Folks here on earth Carry The Light has found over the past fifteen years many doors have been opened unto us to go in and sing God's Word. God has gone ahead of us so many, many times and opened doors. I know the same is true with my good friends Dave, Duane and Neil as they traveled as Couriers and He is doing the same for Tim and Larry as they carry forth the Mission. If we ASK, if we SEEK, and we KNOCK, and we do it in FAITH, those doors will be opened unto you. And folks in life, when we truly believe God will never let a door go shut on you without opening another... folks, trust God in this, and for those of you who are out of work, get on your knees and ASK in Faith for God to open another door for you. Pray about what door it should be and then put feet on those prayers and go SEEK out that door, and KNOCK on it and it will, brothers and sisters, IT WILL be opened unto you. If it is not, listen to me here, if it is not opened to you, then God does not want you there. And then pray more and keep knocking for the Bible tells us this, I know it is fact.

People, those of you looking for a job, first Knock on the door of our Lord. Open Your heart to Him and invite Him into your life. If you are leading a life that is not pleasing to Him and then expect Him to be opening the door to you, maybe you need to rethink this. God loves us all, he knows every hair on our body (He has less to know of me each day unless He knows how much hair is in my brush.) Just had to say that... Folks, if we really want God to be helping us, we need to be helping Him. Yes, and tomorrow we are going to study that a bit. You see, brothers and sisters, when we ASK God, and we SEEK God, and we KNOCK on God's door, don't you think He would like to have you know Him better than you do now?

Brothers and sisters, please read this account from Matthew 7: 7/12 - Folks in all things when we talk to the Lord, please remember to pray His will to be done, and remember to have faith, and brothers and sisters, it will, I said it will, HAPPEN. Please remember this word... FAITH.

Dear Father in Heaven, I am knocking today on Your door for I need help. I need help each day to walk the straight and narrow. You are my "walker", my "cane", my "crutch", and I need that. I need to repent and I know that. I pray for Your help. I am Knocking and I am seeking and I am asking, Lord. Help me, dear Lord, and all those who pray this prayer... in Jesus name, Amen.

Now go forth, and remember to ASK, SEEK AND KNOCK, and remember to do it daily, not just when you need something. ASK, SEEK AND KNOCK, and ask for God to show you how to share your blessings... and then share them... Love ya, dan.

Wednesday: Ask, Seek, Knock 3

"Knock and the door will be opened to you"

Good Morning, my dear brothers and sisters. It feels like the North Pole here at the Southern Location of the North Pole, wow, 37 degrees this morning. Time to roll up the garden hoses before they freeze.

Please pray for the Saylor Family, as Don is now with Jesus. I was with them for a while last evening and you could see the relief on their faces. Folks, it is so nice when people are sure that their loved ones are with Jesus. So today let's just talk about that a bit. This is Salvation Wednesday and the day we pray for the lost. Also please pray for the following request in from Rob Campbell at Newport Assembly of God Church: We have a young man named Pat leaving today for Nepal. He will be practicing the old biblical prophecy of just walking from village to village looking for an honest man to spread the gospel to. He will be going in with a backpack and a guide; but God will be his real guide and protector. He will be there for 6 weeks. Can we remember him in our prayers through this time?

So let's keep Pat in our prayers till we hear he is back home... Thanks. Prayers also for Vicki. Her procedure did not go well and more tests are being done. I am sure there are a few more prayer requests and I am drawing a blank right now. Also some of you might have received a piece of email that went the wrong way for me. Please just x it out.

Ask, Seek, Knock 3: Matthew 7:7 - "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." 8 "For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened." (NIV) (quoting Jesus)

In a few short days there will be a lot of knocking on your door and there you will find kids dressed up and asking for candy... Trick or Treat... I often wondered what might happen if when I opened the door and they said trick or treat I would just stand on my head. You know, do a trick for them. Maybe at my age I should keep giving out the candy. While not all of us get involved in this thing we call Halloween, I must confess that as a kid we did the bumming for candy thing and as a grownup we give out the candy. In fact since we have so many dogs and they get all upset, I go to the end of the driveway, and hand out the candy.. Now we see in the stores candy and candy and candy, and if you ask teachers and school bus drivers about this holiday and the others where we give candy you will find that they will tell you about the sugar highs that the kids get on. But still we get ready for it. We go to the store and we purchase candy and/or snacks for the kids, and admit it, you buy enough to be sure you have leftovers. We are ready for that knock on the door...

Would you be that ready if when you opened the door there stood Jesus? Would you turn to your spouse and say, hey there is a big person dressed up as Jesus? Or would you really know Him? Now I know that when we are talking about knocking from this part of the Bible we are talking about when we are knocking on doors, and more so on the door to Heaven... Many ways to look at this...

I am going to come back to this knocking tomorrow and address about us being the knocker, but for today, this Salvation Wednesday, I am just asking you this... Are you as ready for Jesus to come knocking for you as you will be for the Halloweeners, those kids in the little costumes? Would Jesus find you willing to open the door for Him, or would you need to say, hold on a minute while you tried to hide the dirty books and get the Bible out? Would you need to change the channel on the TV? Too late, folks, for when Jesus comes knocking, He already knows your heart. I wonder this year what might happen if you would get some Bible tracts and put them with the candy going to the kids. You know, I think I am going to do that this year. Put out a word about Jesus. If you had a hundred kids at the door and one person read the good, good news, it would be worth it all. And folks, surely it would be the best of the best of those gifts the kids would get. Tomorrow, we find out what happens when we do the knocking. For now, let's just go to prayer asking God to forgive us and to use us, let us get our hearts ready for that old knock...

Dear Father in Heaven, please forgive me of my sins, come into my heart, as You are welcome. Anoint me to work for You and get me ready for Heaven... In the name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.

Concert today at the Bridges... 2.00 PM and you are welcome... 2100 Bent Creek Blvd... Mechanicsburg, Pa. 795 1100 Now go and share those blessings. love ya, dan.

Tuesday: Ask, Seek, Find 2

Seek and you will find!

It is a beautiful day here at the Southern Location of the North Pole. Believe it or not, I am running a tad late today because, are you ready for this, we were, are you really ready for this... We were trying on those red suits and dresses. I wear the suit, thank you, but the time will come when I will wear the dress, and I am going to look good in my wedding gown. Schools day, schools day, dear old golden rules day... and the day we pray for our schools, you see, for Jesus will be in them for us. Remember yesterday, "Ask and it will be given unto you"? Ask, brothers and sisters, ask Jesus to go into our schools and anoint all who go through the doors. Please add Ann McNellis to your prayer list, I don't know her problem or condition just that she is in the hospital very sick. Keep praying for Don Saylor, and for Vicki. Vicki was to have a procedure yesterday, I did not hear from her on results.

Ask, Seek, Knock 2 Matthew 7: 7 - "Ask and it will be given to you; see and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." (NIV) (The quote is from Jesus.)

Let me see, out of the three, ask, seek, and knock, I think I seek more than I ask, and I don't knock as much as I should. But I am always seeking something, the older I get the more I am seeking things I have misplaced. Ah, but God is good because so far at least I stop seeking after I find what I was seeking. Brothers and sisters, there are a lot of things in life that we need to seek out, first and foremost is our Lord Jesus. However, once have asked Jesus into our lives and have been born again our seeking should be more and often. Why, because we need to now seek out His word, seek to learn more and more about Him, and we need to seek out the lost and teach them about Jesus and how to seek Him. We also need to seek out the good in people instead of looking always at the negative side.

We also need to seek out those who need help, and we need to be seeking different ways of helping those that need the help. You have heard me say this over and over again, we need to be praying for folks, but we also need to be "putting feet on our prayers" (Pam Bower) and helping those who we are praying for if we can. We cannot always help people but in a lot of cases we can.

So let me just wrap it up today with a review of yesterday and today. Seek out God and Ask Him what He wants you to do. And that's a Rap... Tomorrow we are going to "knock".

Dear Father in Heaven, we love you and today we just want to seek You and seek Your word. Lord, please direct us in all we do. Be with those on our prayer list, place your healing hand on Ann, Don and others on our list, and be with their families. And Lord, please bless us by being in our schools, for our kids are our future when it comes to running this country. Love you, Jesus, and I pray in your name... Amen.

Go forth, seeking out ways to share your blessings... Love ya, dan.

Monday: Ask, Seek, Knock 1

Ask and it will be given to you.

Happy Columbus Day, my dear brothers and sisters. Do you who have a paid day off know just why you have it? You say it was in 1492 when old Columbus discovered America. Is that the real reason you have a paid day off? NO, it is because business men and women all over the United States of America are going to work to pay for it. Oh, I know some of your very own tax dollars help, I will give you all that. But in the most part, you will not see the owner operated business closed on a day like this, in fact you will see them having sales, etc. Happy Columbus Day Folks, and remember Columbus might have discovered America, but God made it.

It is Monday and the day we pray for our leaders, our military and all others who are working hard to keep us safe and free. Jesus died for our personal freedom and we always need to remember that. Folks, today I want you to pray real hard for our "Nobel Peace Prize" winning President, so that he might just work with our military and maybe, just maybe, act like the commander in chief instead of a rock star. Pray first for his salvation and for that of his family and also for his safety. And please pray for and support our military. I cannot believe what is being done to them. PRAY, WARRIORS, PRAY.

Prayers today also for Pastor Charles, Pastor Tony, for Dave, Duane and Neil as they hit the road for a big singing trip. Prayers also for Vicki who is having a cyst drained today and to be healed from the fall she had just yesterday. Also for Don Saylor who is gravely ill... Pray also for his family.

We have a busy week this week, singing on Wednesday at the Bridges and Saturday at Perry Village... both concerts are at 2.00 PM and you are welcome.

Ask, Seek, Knock 1 - Matthew 7: 7 - "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." (NIV)

How often in life did you get exactly what you wanted without asking for it, or in case of a gift, hinted over and over again? I mean in our younger days we even went and asked Santa for what we wanted. Now, even Santa does not know that does not work, well, except for maybe Mrs. Claus asking. But here we find our Lord Jesus telling us that if we "Ask" we will receive. Now we must ask in faith and we also must remember that over and over again we need to ask that God's will be done just as Jesus did. I want to give you some homework today, please take time to read Matthew 7: 7/12. The matter of fact is that each day you should be reading scriptures to see if I am correct in what I am writing.

How often in life have you turned down a really serious request from your children if they ask you for something? I am not talking about one of your kids coming home and asking for your house, but if they were to need help paying for the rent for a month or two and if you had the money, would you not do all you could to help them, even, even if you had to float a loan to do it? The Bible tells us that we would do that even though we are evil and since our Father in Heaven loves us so much and is good, would the gifts not be much better...

Matthew 7: 9 - "Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask Him? (NIV)

Today I want you to share a gift with others, I am asking you to give someone a hug and a word of kindness, and men, stop at the food store and pick up some flowers for your honey. Surprise them, you can do this for about 5 or 6 dollars. Yesterday after church I was asked by a couple of the workers at the Bridges, "Pastor, what did you tell the people in church? We have gotten more hugs today then ever before." Folks, I asked them, like I am asking you and have asked you before, share some hugs... don't put it off. Hug someone today. And remember to talk to God, ask when you really need something and like good children, please remember to say THANK YOU.

Dear Father in Heaven, please, Lord, protect our President and his family and, Lord, may he and his family come to You seeking salvation through our Lord Jesus and then, Lord, may he always run things past You before acting on them for us. Lord, please be with our Military and all others who work to keep us free and safe. Lord, be with Vicki, with Don, with Pastor Charles and Pastor Tony, and with Dave, Duane and Neil. And Lord, on this Columbus Day in America, we give You thanks for our country. Thanks Jesus... I ask in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Go forth sharing your blessings and some hugs and love... and share them in the name of Jesus... love ya, dan.

Friday: Joyful Noise 5

Praise The Lord! Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise Him with the harp and lyre, Praise Him with tambourine and dancing, Praise Him with the strings and flute, praise Him with the clash of cymbals, praise Him with resounding cymbals, Let everything that has breath praise the Lord, PRAISE THE LORD.

Good Morning, my dear brothers and sisters, and thank you for those who answered questions yesterday. Today is Friday and the day we pray for all those who are working for our Lord Jesus.

Are YOU on that prayer list today, and if not, why not? You should be working for Jesus and I don't care how old you are, from children to the oldest of seniors can reach out for Jesus. I pastor a senior community, in that community we have a dementia unit. Even those who lost their memory or most of it, still sit and praise the Lord and some even tell others in the same unit to love Jesus.

Now a side note, as I type this, in four minutes we have a rocket bomb of some type hitting the moon... WHY???? Why, when we have so many people in the world and even in the United States with not enough to eat, are we sending a rocket to blast the moon? TO ME IT IS UPSETTING... To me this is dead wrong... The Bible tells us to feed the hungry and put clothes on the naked and to help the poor. No place in the Bible do I see where we should hit the moon with a rocket. And even with that said we have men and ladies at war and that money could even be used to fund these fine men and women who are still searching out those who bombed America on 9/11/01 using our own planes. DO WE REMEMBER THAT? Let's feed the poor, clothe the naked and protect our country, and then and only then should a president get a peace prize... PLEASE PRAY FOR OUR NATION.

My mamma told me when the moon talk first started when I was in school... "If God wanted people on the moon, He would have put them there." Ok, let me get back on message...

Please keep praying for Don Saylor who is very, very ill and please keep praying for that little baby born at 2.7 pounds. For Vicki and for this new request... for Paul, in the hospital and very ill. Prayers for our son Matthew who is to be admitted to detox today. Thanks for your prayers for my beloved Martin Martin who had dental work yesterday, it was for cleaning but he, according to the vets, needed to have two teeth removed. He is home doing fine. I can't say the same for my checking account. Wow! But he is worth it all and if we are going to have pets we must take care of them. They depend on us...

Remember please to pray for your pastors.

Joyful Noise 5: Psalm 150: 1 - Praise The Lord! Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in His mighty heavens. 2 Praise Him for His acts of power; praise Him for His surpassing greatness. 5 Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise Him with the harp and lyre, 4 Praise Him with tambourine and dancing, Praise Him with the strings and flute, 5 praise Him with the clash of cymbals, praise Him with resounding cymbals, 6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord, PRAISE THE LORD.
(NIV)

Most of this past week I talked about Praising our Lord God and quoting scriptures where it talks about making a Joyful noise. I could write on these scriptures for weeks and weeks. Today I just want to round it out by pointing out to those who might not like the little bands with strings and drums leading worship in the church... It is in the Bible folks, and dancing is also, so please, please, get it right. Do not down it, there is a time to worship with drums and cymbals and time to do it with singing and praise, and there is a time to worship God on our knees in quiet reverence. And may I point out that all of them are a joyful noise unto the Lord. Even, and listen to me here folks, even the quiet prayer time we spend, a time we talk to Jesus one on one, sometimes in our car, sometimes laying in bed, and if you are like me, sometimes while sitting on the throne. I call it my throne to Throne talk with Jesus. As we bid this week goodbye we will thank God for the week and ask Him for another, and once again today we will go out singing and praising the Lord in song, trying to put another on your mind and hearts for today. Sing and rejoice... but before that, let's go to the quiet part of the praise and joyful noise.

Dear Father we come to You in quiet prayer today, first praising You for another day and praising You for our food and clothes of yesterday and for a roof over our heads. And I give You all the honor and glory for our little man, Martin, coming home in good shape. Thanks, God, for all You do for us. Lord, I am sorry that our Nation, the United States, crashed a bomb into Your moon, our night light. Please Lord, do not shut this night light off because of our bombing it. Lord, forgive us for this. Lord, Lord, we ask that You sit with Don Saylor and take care of Him. Lord, I asked You give him total healing as only You can do. Lord, be with his family. Lord, I pray for all those who are working for You regardless of what they do. Lord, for those singing folks on the road, and for the ones preaching in churches, I pray that they preach and teach the truth and the complete word. Lord, help them. Lord, for Vicki, for Paul, and for all others who need Your hand I pray for healing... Lord, I pray in the name of Jesus... AMEN.

Now brothers and sisters, let's once again put a song on your heart and lips so that others see and hear you singing for Jesus. Please also remember to share your blessings of the things that God gives you and to share your voice with others. Remember the Bible tells us a joyful noise, so sing it, folks, sing it out... and let's reach way back for one of those old, old hymns, one with the meat and potatoes' as Duane Nicholson once told me. Meat and potatoes from God's Word in song...

"On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross, the emblem of suffering and shame; And I love that old cross where the dearest and best for a world of lost sinners was slain. So I'll cherish the old rugged cross, till my trophies at last I lay down; I will cling to the old rugged cross, and exchange it someday for a crown." "So I'll cherish the old rugged cross, till my trophies at last I lay down; I will cling to the old rugged cross, and exchange it someday for a crown."

"Oh Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder consider all the worlds thy hand hath made, I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder, Thy power throughout the universe displayed. Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to thee, How great thou art! How great thou art! Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to thee, How great thou art! How great thou art! Ok, singers, let's do that refrain one more time and tenors go high, let's do it and give it that joyful noise... ready...

THEN SINGS MY SOUL, MY SAVIOR GOD, TO THEE, HOW GREAT THOU ART! HOW GREAT THOU ART! THEN SINGS MY SOUL, MY SAVIOR GOD, TO THEE, HOW GREAT THOU ART! HOW GREAT THOU! ART! HOW GREAT THOU ART, HOW GREAT THOU------ART..... sing it, share it. love ya, dan.

Thursday: Joyful Noise 4

Shout aloud and sing for joy!

Hello... How are you? Gosh, I am blessed, how about you? It is a beautiful day here at the Southern Location of the North Pole, my dear brothers and sisters, how is it where you live? It is Thursday and that means it is family day on this prayer praise and message line. Please pray for the Saylor family, and please pray for Don. I was bedside with Don yesterday and he was alert, but very, very tired. As always we pray for God's will to be done and not ours. We prayed yesterday and placed Don in the loving arms of Jesus for care and custody. Vicki needs lots of prayer as she is having some procedures. Also needing prayers is our son Matthew. Matthew is entering a detox unit tomorrow and then when that is over he will be going into the Salvation Army rehab for about 5 or 6 months. Also as we pray for families, let's pray for your family and mine, all families who use this line or have it forwarded to them. Also please, as instructed by God, pray for our leaders. Please pray for our president and his family and pray for salvation for them and also that before he brings anything to us, he takes it to God. Pray for Marissa Jolle who was born yesterday 15 weeks early and is just 2 lbs 7 ozs. Also pray for her mother and the rest of her family. Note, here, as we pray for our president, please pray for how he feels about abortion. Yes right to late term... so sad.

Joyful Noise 4: Isaiah 12 - Shout aloud and sing for joy, people of Zion, for great is The Holy One of Israel among you. (NIV)

If you read the opening you will see I asked you three questions. Gosh, I guess I did that just so you would email me once in a while. I am keeping this short today as I am tired, was up most of the night working at the museum. This is car show week in Hershey and a crew of us helped at the museum changing the display. There is nothing easy about moving antique cars, and we were moving buses. It is hard and tiring work. But I do rejoice that it is done for another year and I will sing praises to the Lord and of the Lord for we did it safely. No bent parts, and no one hurt. PRAISE THE LORD... So let's pray and then put a song on your lips and heart and mind, one you can just sing all day... Right.

Dear Father in Heaven, please be with that dear, dear baby and give her life and be with her family. Also, please Lord, be with her family. Be with Don Saylor, oh Lord, he is tired and ready for You. Lord, we lay him in Your arms for protection and love as only You can give. Lord, I pray for President Obama and his family, first for Salvation and then Lord bless his family and his missions as president. May he also come to be "pro-life" and protect those unborn babies. Lord, be with Vicki and also all families who use this line. Be with our son Matthew as he enters detox and rehab and also be with Martin Martin who is in the vet hospital today. Lord bless this line and all who use it, in the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

OK, lets go singing and sharing our blessings. You just got to know this... I love ya, dan... and now to the tune of a Christmas Carol, O' Come all Ye Faithful...

O come let us adore Him, O come let us adore Him, O come let us adore Him, Christ The Lord. Let's give Him all the Glory, Let's give Him all the Glory, Let's give Him all the glory, Christ The Lord.

O come let us adore Him, O come let us adore Him, O come let us adore Him, Christ The Lord. Let's give Him all the Glory, Let's give Him all the Glory, Let's give Him all the glory, Christ The Lord.

Wednesday: Joyful Noise 3

Praise The Lord. How good it is to sing praises to our God!

Salvation Wednesday, Salvation Wednesday, believe and confess and be saved... Salvation Wednesday, Salvation Wednesday, believe and confess and be saved... Amen.

Good Morning, my dear brothers and sisters, it is a beautiful Salvation Wednesday here at the Southern Location of the North Pole. It is the day we pray not just for the unsaved and those we think might not be saved, but the day we pray that God uses us to go into the fields of harvest and work to bring in the lost. It is our job, folks, to be working for Jesus. Here are some other much needed prayers... Please pray for Gabbette and her family (Gabbette = Donna). Please pray for Don Saylor and his family, for Pastors Tony, Charles, Kevin, Larry, Richard, and me... Also pray for the pastors from your church today. Prayers also for the family of Ruth who has gone home to be with Jesus. Vicki still needs our prayers daily.

Joyful Noise 3: Psalm 147: 1 - Praise The Lord. How good it is to sing praises to our God, how pleasant and fitting to praise Him! 7 Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving make music to our God on the harp. (NIV)

Here in that same Psalm are just a few of the reasons we need to be singing the Praises to Him.
Psalm 147: 8 - He covers the sky with clouds; He supplies the earth with rain and makes grass grow on the hills. 9 He provides food for the cattle and for the young ravens when they call. (NIV)

You know on this day when we talk about praising the Lord and being saved and our salvation and helping Jesus bring in the lost, I want to point this out... So many people think that we have an ALL loving God and that in the end all will be saved and we have no reason at all to fear God. Years ago when I was just a child and the streets were still made of dirt I had fear of daddy and even my mother. My fear was out of respect for them and what might happen if I do not follow the rules laid down by them. Folks, all of the rules were good and fair as are all the rules of our Lord God. Most of the rules laid down by my parents were indeed just rules of our Lord in the first place. So I had that fear of my parents, and oh yes, the punishments that might come forth when I mess up and even more fear if my mess up was really big. Now I know you all think I WOULD NEVER do anything wrong, but I was, well, sort of a "brat" sometimes. I had a few of my mother's "back hand" across my mouth if I were to talk back, and I had a bigger fear of my dad's razor strap if I talked back to my mother... you see what made my dad get really mad was if I did something that upset my mamma. I also had the fear of this sound... zippppppppppppp - that was the sound of a belt being pulled real fast from the belt loops on my daddy's pants. I want to point out again I was never abused or beaten, I was justly punished for deeds that I did wrong, or the good deeds I did not do. So listen to this, should we fear God? YES... I mean it should be reverent fear. Listen to this from Psalm 147: 11 - The Lord delights in those who fear Him, who put their hope in His unfailing love.

My daddy and mamma loved me very, very much, and more than once I was told that "this is going to hurt me more than it is going to hurt you", and I thought at the time... yeah, right! But then every now and then I would see my mother crying after she punished me and with those big tears coming down her face she would hug me letting me know how much she loves me. My parents also never, and I want to say this again, never went to bed at night letting me think they did not love me. Even if I had been punished and sent to my room, they would come in and hug me and tell me they loved me. I would then say, does this mean I can come out of my room tomorrow? The answer was no, but we love you anyway. God is the same way with us. We are His children and He must keep us in line as a good parent does. Does He punish us? I think so! Is it just? Of course! He is trying to keep us in line so that in the end, He will invite us into heaven. How He must feel when He turns one of us away at the gate. So let me get back to our joyful noise. Even when we mess up, or even more so when we mess up, (mess up = sin) we need to be singing to God, singing praises to Him, about Him and for Him. I also want to point this out to you... Singing Praises to God or about God is not always done in song. You can be singing just in words. Telling others about God and how good God is, is indeed singing praises. Even if the word is just spoken... However, you know me and I like to sing in song... so let's go out again singing and I don't care if you say you can't even carry a tune in a bucket, your words in song going up as Praises to God are always music to God's ears. Let's first ask God to forgive us and either save us or renew us in Him... If you have never gone before God, through Jesus asking to be saved, I ask that you do not put it off for another minute. I mean you could be called right now. Your heart beat could do one of these - _____________________________ a big flat line... So please come to God The Father through Jesus The Son right now. Or you could refresh today, and folks, do you want some real good refreshment? Get washed all over again in the blood.

Dear Father in Heaven, please look over our prayer requests and honor them according to Your will for those on the list. And Lord, we pray for those sick to be healed and left with us. Lord, we do though honor Your will, for it is far better than ours. Now Lord, please forgive us of our sins and get us ready for Heaven. Help us to repent and turn from sin and our daily sins. Wash us today in the blood of Jesus and make us whole. We want to be saved, we want to be Born Again in the Spirit. In the name of Jesus, I place my request. Amen.

Go forth now, singing a song of praise today and sharing your blessings... can you do that, share those blessings and lets lock this song into our hearts and minds today. Come and join the late Patsy Cline and me and sing this one... Love ya, dan.

"I am weak but thou art strong; Jesus, keep me from all wrong. I'll be satisfied as long, as I walk, let me walk close to Thee. Just a closer walk with Thee; Grant it, Jesus, is my plea. Daily walking close to Thee. Let it be, dear Lord, let it be. Again please... Just a closer walk with Thee; Grant it, Jesus, is my plea. Daily walking close to Thee. Let it be, dear Lord, let it be...

He's all I need, He's all I need; Jesus is all I need. He's all I need, He's all I need, Jesus is all I need. One more time... He's all I need, He's all I need; Jesus is all I need. He's all I need, He's all I need, Jesus is all I need.

He is Lord, He is Lord! He is risen from the dead and He is Lord! Every knee shall bow, every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
He is Lord, He is Lord! He is risen from the dead and He is Lord! Every knee shall bow, every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Just a closer walk with Thee; Grant it, Jesus, is my plea. Daily walking close to Thee. Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.

Tuesday: Joyful Noise 2

I will sing of your love and justice!

Good Morning, dear brothers and sisters, and welcome to Schools day on the Carry The Light Ministries Praise, Prayer and Message line. Please pray for our schools, all of them, from early childhood, to those schools of higher education and for the public schools, private schools, schools back by religion, and pray for all who enter the doors. Also Don Saylor really needs our prayers as does his family. Prayers for Pastor Charles that he recovers from the stroke to preach again. Prayers for Greta as she learns to use her new legs. Greta has such a positive attitude and loves God so much. She lost both legs from the knees down.

Joyful Noise 2: Psalm 101: 1 - I will sing of your love and justice; to you, Oh Lord, I will sing praise. (NIV)

It was so much fun singing yesterday I just thought it might be nice to do it again.. I must tell you this, each week I hang a schedule of our next service at the Bridges and on the schedule I list the message title. This week I put the message title up and I really have them talking already. The message title! "Did you really marry your cousin?" I plan on going back through the Bible and showing how we are all related because, well, because we are all children of God. Even the non-believer is a child of God and God loves them as much as He loves us believers. As a parent sometimes we have to deal with what I call tough love. Think of how God must feel when one of His children stands and says there is no God... and think of how He feels when they don't make the cut for heaven. Now that is tough love. Ok, back to the joyful noise. Sometimes we who write for God and preach and teach stop short of things that need to be tied together. Let's go back to Psalm 101 again.

Psalm 101: 1 - I will sing of your love and justice; to you, Oh Lord, I will sing praise. (NIV) Now let's look at more of that same Psalm...
Psalm 101: 2 - I will be careful to lead a blameless life--when will you come to me? (NIV)
Here we are told that we should try and live a blameless life. Now you might ask, it really does not say that we should try and lead a blameless life, and I will tell you that the Bible, The Inspired Word of God, was written for us, for examples for us to live by and this is just one of the hundreds upon hundreds that are in the Bible. So let's just get over it and put ourselves right in the middle of this. We should try and live a blameless life, one that has us walking the talk, walking with Jesus and telling others. At the same time we are asking when will you come to me? Now I could put that in many ways, I guess meaning if someone is not saved and they are working on it, they might be asking God to come into their heart. Or one who might be saved and slipped might be asking God to come hold them up. Or one might be asking God for help. Oh, how often I have been working on a vehicle and asked God, please come to me and help me get this done. And of course one other thing might be we are asking God when are You coming for me? Over the last week I have sat beside people who were in those last hours and we have prayed for God to come to them.

So you see we can get so much out of these scriptures, so very, very much out of each verse. Let me finish verse 2 of Psalm of 101: I will walk in my house with a blameless heart... Now I can get out of this how we should LEAD our families, how we should work with God to not sin, and brothers and sisters, to me the only way to have a blameless heart is to live a life that is pleasing to God and stay away from sin. Ok, now we need to sing a song of praise for that is how this Psalm started. Let me find one we all might know...

"Majesty, worship His majesty, Unto Jesus be all glory, honor and praise. Majesty, Kingdom authority flow from His throne unto His own; His anthem raise. So exalt, lift up on high the name of Jesus. Magnify, come glorify Christ Jesus the King. Majesty, worship His majesty; Jesus who died, now glorified, King of all kings."

Folks, how nice it would be if everyone in the world would live by the Bible, think of it, people really loving each other. We are family, all of us... all related, all children of God. Think of the peace. Think of police officers having time to help a person across the street because there was no crime. Think of people hugging each other instead of shooting each other. Think of children being born because of love and not just sex. Think of it, think just how easy it would be if we all just followed in the footsteps of Jesus. I want to ask you this today... We might say we cannot do this, but I want you to tell me... Will you do your part? Will you try your very best to live a blameless life? Will you give out hugs and say nice things even if people just blasted you to the floor with their mouth?

I guess what I am saying is why can't we get this all started today, by all who read this line? Today will you share your blessings with................. with a hug and tell that person as you hug them "I love you."

Dear Father in Heaven, we love You and we want to hug on You this day and we want to follow in your footsteps. Forgive us of our sins. Lord, this is schools day on the line and we ask that You go into our schools and teach love to all who come in the doors. Lord, I pray today for Don Saylor and the Saylor family, I pray for Pastor Charles, and ask Lord, if You would please heal him so he might preach again. Lord, bless Greta and her new legs and help her learn to use them. Lord, bless our house and bless me and help me to lead a blameless life. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Now go forth sharing your blessings and please today, SHARE A HUG with someone and tell them you love them. And here is a hug and kiss from me to you. XOXOXO. And know this please, Jesus loves you and wants you to lead that blameless life, so let's do this for Him. Love ya, dan. XOXOXO
