Memorial Day 2010

Memorial Day: May 30, 2010

Good Morning all: Those who follow the Carry The Light Ministries Line daily, and those whom I have the honor and privilege of knowing through the Museum of Bus Transportation.

Please: May we give thanks this day for our many, many veterans from past and present wars.
I want all of you today (and every day) to remember those who served and remember that while "all gave some, some gave all." Please take time to reflect about how many lives from past and present wars have been given so that this NATION MAY BE FREE. Freedom is not now or has it ever been cheap, it has taken the lives of many, many fine men and women. Take time today to go to a cemetery and just look at all the flags flying over the graves of those who served. Take time to reflect and pray.

Today we have many veterans still living and we need also to remember and THANK them for their service, and remember today we have men and women who are 18 years of age and already veterans so it is not just those who have gray hair, and remember they are of all races and religions. If you see a person in the uniform of our country, stop and say THANK YOU to them, and please do the same for our police and firefighters also, for they also over the years have given and given and given.

Today I would ask all of you to join me in praying for our men and women who are serving today, and thanking God for them and also those who served in the past...

Dear Father in Heaven, We just want to thank You this day for a land that we call the United States of America and still say we are One Nation under You. Thank You for all those who have served in the past and have gone on before us. Thank You for those who served and still live, and thank You for those who are serving right now, and Lord, we pray that there will soon be peace and that our fine men and women of the Navy, Air Force, Army, Marines, Coast Guard, Merchant Marines, our reserve units will soon be home. Regardless of where they are this day, bless them and keep them and cause your face to shine upon them. And Lord, the same for our state and local police and all our fire fighters. God, PLEASE, Bless them all and God Bless America. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

And today I also want to thank my wonderful wife on our 28th wedding anniversary and thank her for her service in the Air Force and also the 193rd Reserve Unit from Middletown Pennsylvania.

Go forth now this day, sharing your blessings, and thanking God and those who have given us the rights we have and the freedom to worship whom we choose or not worship at all. Remember, if it were not for our veterans of the past, we might be speaking a different language.
Love ya,

May 28, 2010 What's in a Name? 5

"look! I see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and unharmed!

Good Friday Morning and Good Start to Memorial Day Weekend! Yes, it is Friday and a beautiful morning. Fireworks, well God set us off a display last night that man can't touch. Today being Friday we want to pray for all those who are working the fields of harvest for our Lord Jesus. Also I want to put Allison before you again, Allie has cancer and a full update is at the end of my message today. Please take time to read it. Also today I have a sad job to do, our senior-most dog appears to have had a stroke over night, and I must take her, Miss Trisha, to the vet and I know it will be her last ride, this never gets easy for me as Dolores and I adopt senior dogs.

Today I want to say Thank You to my Lord Jesus Christ for giving me a way to get home to Heaven, for dying for my sins and for standing up for me when others would trash me. Next, I want to say Thank You for Dolores putting up with me for 28 years, Mrs. Claus and I were married on Memorial Day, May 30, 1982, that makes 25 years. Then Happy Birthday to our ministry partner, Pamela Bower, who will be (age withheld) on May 29th.

Now let me say thank you to all our veterans and also to our current military who have served this country. IF IT WERE NOT FOR OUR VETERANS and our current military we might not be able to go to church, gather to have a wedding, have birthday parties, in fact the only thing we might have would be our personal freedom since it was bought and paid for in full by Jesus. Brothers and sisters, start this weekend talking to God and each time you see a veteran, or a person in uniform of our military, stop and thank them, do it while you can, while they are on this side of the grass.

Thanks to those veterans and active military who served in the NAVY, the AIR FORCE, the ARMY, the MARINES, the COAST GUARD, the MERCHANT MARINES, and all the reserve units.

What's in a Name? 5: Daniel 3:25 - He answered and said, "LO, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God." (KJV)

So here I want to bring forth this name for our Lord. "The Fourth Man". As Jesus, the Son of God, was truly the one who was in the fire with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego and at this time we can also add the name of the Great Protector. Let me see, they were untied, unhurt and walking or dancing around in the fire. All four of them.

Just one more for today...

John 10:1 - "I tell you the truth, the man who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber. 2 The man who enters by the gate is the shepherd of his sheep. 7 Therefore Jesus said again, "I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep. 8 All who ever came before me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. 9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. (NIV)

Just another name for our Lord, and I keep finding more and more. Here we see Jesus calling Himself the "Gate". What a great name for Jesus, for He truly is the gate keeper of heaven and better know who that Gate Keeper really is.

Dear Father in Heaven, please heal Allie, Please protect our military, and bless also our veterans. And Lord keep your children safe on the highways this holiday weekend... And may we remember this weekend, what Jesus does did for us and also what our Military does and did for us. Bless and protect Lord, I ask in the might name of Jesus, the Fourth man in the fire... Amen.

Now share your blessings... be careful. And next week, more names if God still gives them to me. Love ya, Pastor Dan.

Allies update from her mother.
Good evening prayer warriors,
I am writing this from home. Allie had her chemo embolization yesterday about 3:00. We started our day by getting stuck in traffic on the way to the hospital due to an accident about 10 miles outside of Baltimore. We were exactly one hour late. We were to be there at 10:30 and got there at 11:30. The nice thing was Allie got her port accessed in the oncology clinic and had her blood drawn before we went to the area to be prepped for the procedure. This saved a little time. However, they were still running behind so she never went for the embolization until 3:00PM. She reached recovery about 5:15 PM. Dr. Hong came out and said she did very well. Although she had a lot of pain this time when they injected the chemo into the tumor, which she never had before. They instilled a toxic mixture of three drugs: Doxorubicin, Mitomycin C and Cisplatin. The doctor said they "hit it hard" this time due to the fact that the surgeon wants the most tumor shrinkage possible before surgery.

I want all of you to know that we heard something this time we had not heard before. For those of you who were with us when Allie was preparing for her initial surgery in January, I was prompted by God to ask anyone who felt comfortable to send Dr. Choti, the liver surgeon, a card of prayer and encouragement prior to Allie's surgery. Dr. Choti received over 40 cards. In fact, Dr. Hong who does Allie's chemo embolization was quite the pessimist when we first met him. He told Allie that with a tumor the size of a soccer ball he wasn't sure how much he could help her but that he would do what he could. After this fourth chemo embolization and the largest tumor having shrunk 4 centimeters by 4 centimeters, Dr. Hong told us in recovery that most patients referred to him with a tumor of Allison's size have no shrinkage of their tumor and are usually not able to have surgery a second time. He also told us that the first time he put chemo in Allie's tumor it was like shining a tiny flashlight in a huge cavern. He really did not think that his treatment would make a difference. With that said, he smiled and said that Dr. Choti has been telling him that Allie has a lot of people praying for her and that he feels that is what is making the difference!! That alone is a testimony in and of itself. A doctor telling other doctors that people are praying and the prayer is working!!! We know that Allie's situation is no surprise to God. He knew how this whole thing would go from the very beginning. We are trusting His plan and we KNOW that prayers are working. It was just nice to see a smile on the face of a doctor who did not smile when he first met Allie. For this, we thank you all for lifting Allie up in prayer.

So, Allie has a good amount of pain in her tumor and even more pain in her left shoulder which they feel may be due to the tumor swelling from the chemo insertion and pushing on the diaphragm and the nerves associated with it. They are confident that this will resolve once the tumor shrinks more. She did not get a closure device in her groin this time so she had to lay flat for 5 hours after the sheath was removed but she slept a lot so the time went fast. She has had no nausea and the pain is being fairly well controlled with her pain medication. It was a long night though. They usually put Allie in a private room and I am allowed to stay on a recliner at her bedside. This time there were no private rooms available and she was put in a semi-private room with a roommate. I was told by the nurse if I was quiet and his charge nurse didn't find out. I could sleep in a chair at the bedside. As I said, it was a VERY long night, but I got to stay with Allie. Allie is always so appreciative of one of us being able to stay with her. It gives her comfort and we spend a lot of time praying together and talking.

So we continue to claim Jeremiah 29:11 which Allie used on her graduation announcement in June, 2009 which seems such a long time ago. Who knew that the verse would have so much more meaning than we ever thought. It is the promise in which God says "For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future." Allison claimed this then and she still claims it today because we know that God definitely has a bigger plan for Allie. She is touching lives in ways she never dreamed she would. God is working through her for good. We will continue to give Him all the glory and honor He deserves.

We will enjoy our comfy beds tonight. We have been told that systemic chemo through Allie's port will start next Tuesday, June 1st for five days. Then we will hopefully be looking at a surgery date with Dr. Choti :) Thanks prayer warriors...you truly are in a battle with us and we feel we are winning, thanks to you. God bless and give God thanks for all the little comforts in your life. God continues to work and amaze us.
Love and blessings to all, Tom, Zina, Allison and Andy

P.S. Allie even felt well enough to attend her brother's baseball game tonight and watch him pitch. They ended in a tie. It was a very good game and a nice night to sit in the shade and watch baseball. We are truly blessed!!!

May 27, 2010 What's in a name? 4

For His name alone is Excellent.

Good Family day morning, my dear brothers and sisters. It is a beautiful day here at the Southern Location of the North Pole. Please take time to pray for families this day. Pray for Vicky and her family, for Beverly and Donna and their families, and yes, by all means pray for the family in the White House. Prayers also for the Idlers, Saylors, and the families at the Bridges of Bent Creek. And remember also to pray for the family of God and your own family and mine.

What's in a name? 4: Psalm 148:13 - Let them praise the name of the Lord: for His name alone is excellent; His glory is above the earth and heaven. (KJV)

I love looking at all the names of our Lord, and what they mean and what they mean to me. Please note that the scripture tells us that His name alone is excellent and to that means those names like mine have other meanings but our Lord God has the only name that is excellent. I know that my name, Daniel means "God is my Judge" but for sure it is not excellent, nor am I worthy, and yes, although my name means "God is my Judge" we in the end will all be judged by God.

Today I would like to add a name I like to think of when it comes to our Lord. This name you WILL NOT find in the Bible, but see if it makes sense to you...

The Umpire: For He will be the one who is going to call you safe or out at home. Moving on.

Proverbs 8:14 - "Counsel and sound judgment are mine; I have understanding and power." (NIV)

Proverbs 8:14 - "Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom; I am understanding. I have strength." (KJV)

When I look at some scriptures sometimes even more than one name jumps out at me, the scripture above comes the name of "Understanding", and by all means our Lord God is understanding, in fact He is the most understanding of anyone ever. Why do I say that? Well, He is indeed the only one that truly understands me! Don't laugh, readers, for He is also the only one who truly understands you. But again in this scripture we can use the name Counselor and we will see that name in other scriptures. Counsel is mine. Two other names, Wisdom and Judgment, come forth depending on the version of the Bible. Also Power and Strength... All wonderful names of our Lord. Let's do a couple more.

Isaiah 25:4 - You have been a refuge for the poor, a refuge for the needy in His distress, a shelter from the storm and a shade from the head. For the breath of the ruthless is like a storm driving against a wall. (NIV)

Now let's look at all the names in this one. His name is a refuge, or strength if you use the King James Bible. His name is not just a strength for the needy and poor but He is strength to all who call on Him. Now that is one name in this verse, but there are more. He is a Shelter. He is a Shelter. So we could call Him a Shelter from our storms. Like our home with a roof over us in the storms of weather and cold, snow and rain, God is a shelter in our storms. Just yesterday Dolores and I had a few storms in our lives. On a scale of 1 to 10 this storm did not even reach 1 but God was still the one who got us through it. The storm started like this... we wanted to go to Lowes and get some flags and take them to the graves of our family members. I dug out our old convertible which sits in the garage with the top down year round. It started right up. We went about a half mile and it started to act up. It stopped on the highway and God pushed us right into a gas pump. I put gas in it and it started once and I moved it from the pump and it stalled out again. Then it would not restart.
But we were safe, we were not on the highway, and when I said God pushed us in, we coasted about a quarter mile right to that gas pump, and yes, I thought it ran out of gas.

In the morning our neighbor called me to look at his lawn tractor and I did, then we called him and he came and got us. We came home and I got my tow dolly... Well I could not get it on the dolly so I called a big hook (tow truck) and our rag top got a ride home. We were saved, the car is in the garage, and sometime before fall, I will get to look at it. No big thing. God is good, and He was our shelter in that very small storm. A neighbor, a friend, a tow truck driver... all hands of the Lord... God is good.

With that said I want you to look at something, how many of the names of the Lord do we carry out? He is the Strength of the Poor and Needy and how does He help them, through us who, dare I say this, through us who share our blessings. If this turn of events had not happened to us in the morning, if God had not had us off the road near our home, He would have covered us in other ways. For indeed He is our shelter from the storm and also by the time I got home, after bringing the car in, it got hot. The home, where He is in charge, has air and it was cool inside. I got a sandwich, and laid down a tad, four of our dogs laid across the bed for a nap. Is God good or what? God is Good... Oh and that Sandwich... God, through the hands of others, made all that was in it... and it was good.

Dear Father in Heaven, we are so blessed because we have You. You and You alone are cause for all things good, and Lord, when I talk about the names that are so much You, I hurt when I hear others curse Your name. Lord, I do not understand and never will why someone who does not believe in You curses Your name when things go wrong. Lord, for those non-believers we pray today and we pray for families across this great land and around the word, and Lord, as for me and my house we will serve You, and Lord, thanks for yesterday and also for today. Lord, please heal the back of Barbara... I forgot her on the list. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Now go forth, sharing the blessings the good Lord gives us each day, and forgiving those who might have done things to you in the past, and forgive those who might even be working on your nerves right now. Keep on loving Jesus, and know that He loves You and so do I love ya. Pastor Dan.

May 26, 2010 What's in a Name? 3

And God said:

Good Salvation Wednesday, my dear brothers and sisters. What a beautiful day, this last Salvation Wednesday in May. Please, please pray for the lost, including the one in the White House, who just might be lost. Pray that God uses all of us, and also this line, to seek out the lost and bring them to the feet of Jesus to be saved. Remember, salvation is personal, it is between Jesus and those seeking Him. But we are to help (see Mark 16:15). We are the workers in His fields.

What's in a name? 3: Genesis 1:3 - And God Said: "let there be light," and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and He separated the light from the darkness. God called the light "day" and the darkness He called Night. (NIV)

The first name I put forth today for those names of our Lord is "speaker" and He was not just a speaker He was the very first speaker. God spoke almost all of creation into being. I asked yesterday what part of creation He did not speak into creation and NO ONE responded. So the answer is Man, for He made man in His own image and made him from dust.

Genesis 2:7 - The Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and the man became a living being. (NIV)

And now I really know why I have ring around the collar, it is the dust coming out of me. Ok, so much for my jokes... Let me get back to more names for our Lord God, and What's in a name. My next choice today is The Rock.

2 Samuel 22:47 - The Lord liveth; and blessed be my ROCK; and exalted be the God of the ROCK OF MY SALVATION. (KJV)

Notice please that for this name, I went to the King James Version of the Bible because the New International Version uses the word Savior over Salvation, and since it is Salvation Wednesday I really wanted to bring out that word. Yes, Jesus is the Rock of my Salvation, He really is and please notice that this comes from the old testament where once again we find out that God, our God who created the earth is in fact our Lord Jesus. God in three parts, The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit... and there we have three names, although I used God yesterday I have now brought up The Son, who is Jesus and also the great comforter, The Holy Spirit.

John 1:34 - I have seen and I testify that this is the Son of God. (NIV)

This was John the Baptist testifying about our Lord Jesus. Now let's look at when Jesus was baptized.

Luke 3:21 - When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as He was praying, heaven was opened 22 and the HOLY SPIRIT descended on Him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven; "You are my SON, whom I love and with You I am well pleased." (NIV)

Three names all in those two verses... Jesus, Holy Spirit and Son. All really great names and all very, very important in our walk with Jesus and our walk for Salvation through our Lord Jesus. I think this is a very good place to stop today and go to God and talk to Him, through Jesus, about Salvation. Are you ready to come to Jesus or to renew in Him today? You know I can't do this for you... This will be an "I" prayer. Now please know that if this is your first time confessing that Jesus is Lord it is just the very beginning of your walk with Him. Your life will change, it will never be the same. What comes after confessing? You must repent! And then? Work and walk with Jesus daily! Is that it... Confess, repent, work and walk? Pretty much, but folks, it is not always easy...

Dear Father in Heaven, I confess today I am a sinner and ask if You would indeed forgive me of my sins. Lord, I do believe in Jesus and that He died on the cross for me and all others, I believe He was risen from the dead, and that He walked the earth and then went to Heaven. I have faith in God and in Heaven. I want to repent of my sins but also confess I will need a lot of help with this. And yes, Lord, I want to walk in the Light of Jesus and work for Him. In the name of Jesus I ask all this... Save me, Lord... Amen.

Now go forth working for Jesus and you can start by "Sharing your blessings" and yes, repenting of those sins. Love ya, Pastor Dan.

May 25, 2010 What's in a Name 2

"And He shall be a Sanctuary."

Good Morning, my dear brothers and sisters. A beautiful morning here at the Southern Location of the North Pole. The sun is out, and the Son is in my heart. Today is Schools Day Tuesday, so get praying please for our schools, from pre-school to those schools of higher education, from public to private, they all need our prayers, and from the kids to the teachers from the office staff to those who drive the buses, please pray. And folks, please teach your kids that they many pray in school.

What's in a name? 2: Isaiah 8: 13 - The Lord Almighty is the one you are to regard as holy, He is the one you are to fear, He is the one you are to dread. 14 And He will become a sanctuary, but for both houses of Israel he will be a stone that causes men to stumble and a rock that makes them fall. And for the people of Jerusalem He will be a trap and a snare. (NIV)

This is the second in my series of What's in a name and I am talking about the many, many great names of our Lord God. Our first name for today is A Sanctuary. Where have you read lately about sanctuary, was it in your Bible or was it in the local news when we are talking about those being in the United States illegally and hearing about some of our big cities being "sanctuary cities"? You might even say now that the United States is a sanctuary for some people as our laws are not being enforced and our borders are wide open. I have heard that even New York City is one place where those who sneak into our country can go and hide. Churches have often been places where one could go for sanctuary, even from arrest. However, the rock bottom truth is that the only real Sanctuary we have is in our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus will take our sins away from us if we ask in faith and we can go to Him and be protected from those who hate us or who want to destroy us.

Folks, if for any reason you need to have a place of sanctuary, please take time to talk it over with Jesus and take it to Jesus. He will be the one you can count on from protection. Let's look at a few more names today, and find out what is in those names...

Proverbs 8: 12 - I, wisdom, dwell together with prudence; I possess knowledge and discretion. (NIV)

One verse of scripture and three names for our Lord. What is in these names? Wisdom, Knowledge and Discretion. These are wonderful names of our Lord and what can make them even more wonderful is He can and will pass some of them on to you. How many of you have wisdom? Those of you who do, where did it come from? Could you indeed be called the son or daughter of wisdom? How many of you have knowledge? And where did that come from? It came from God, of course. What about Discretion, how many of you have discretion? As we do these names of our Lord, and folks all of them are scripture, look and see just how many of them He might have passed to you.

Let's look up a few more today, we must first find them in the scriptures, and where should we go first, why let's go back to the beginning and see what we can find...

Genesis 1:1 - In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. (NIV)

Ok, what's in a name here? In the very first verse in our Bible we see two names that would apply to our Lord... In the beginning GOD. Yes, we find out right away that God is God and God is also and here is another name... Creator. In the beginning God created, and if you created something you are the Creator. To all the non-believers, notice please, well never mind, you would not be on this line if you were a non believer. Let's get one more for today... one more... Does your company have a spokesperson, one who goes to the press? Gosh, look what I found here... God is a spokes person. Yep, right here in front of our faces this morning...

Genesis 1:3 - And God said: "Let there be light." (NIV)

Now God spoke almost all of creation into place. What part of creation did God not speak into place? I would love to get you all involved in this. Will you send me a name for God and what is in that name?

Dear Father in Heaven... What is in a name? Lots of things, we know that Lord, and Lord, You have so many good names. Sanctuary was one we did today Lord, and today I want to come to You and have You rescue me, put me in Your Sanctuary today and forever, and keep me, keep us from those who what to destroy us... Lord bless all on our prayer lists... In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Now go forth sharing your blessings and doing God's work that He has planned for you... love ya, Pastor Dan.

May 24, 2010 What's in a name? 1

Thou shall call His name Jesus!

Good Morning, my dear brothers and sisters, it is a beautiful morning here at the Southern Location of the North Pole. We have a light rain falling and everything looks so fresh. Things are so green and the flowers so pretty, GOD IS SO GOOD. Monday and the day we pray for our leaders and our veterans, our military and all those who work to keep us safe and healthy. Please remember to pray for your family doctors and the staff in their office. Also please pray today for Michael and his family (marriage). For sisters Donna and Beverly and their mother. Mother is now just 89 pounds.

What's in a name? (1): Matthew 1:21 - She will give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins. (NIV)

Back about five or more years ago I wrote about the different names of Jesus as they appear in the Bible. I have talked to God about doing this again, please note these are not from the archives but what God gives me this time. I will be using for reference my Bibles, the New International Version and also the King James Version. I will try and get about 5 to 7 names in each day and there is no better place to start than with the name of Jesus.

An angel of the Lord had appeared to Joseph and was told of Mary being great with child and was told by the angel that he, Joseph, should name this Holy Child Jesus. And as we know, Joseph followed those orders and we find that name of Jesus throughout the new testament. I would like for you to think of a couple scriptures, maybe some you like best that mention the name Jesus in them, or quote Jesus. One of mine is...

John 14:6 - Jesus answered "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (NIV)

I want to direct you a scripture where our Savior was given more than one name. Yes in just one verse. Listen to this...

Isaiah 9: 6 - For to us a child is born, to us a son is given and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (NIV)

Let's look at these names...

Wonderful---Not just is the name of our Lord Wonderful, He gets that name because He is wonderful, and we could make a list of Wonderful things He does for us each day. In fact, what has He done for you so far today, just today, think about it... let me just say one of many. The rain we are getting.

Counselor---Now we could look at that word and come up with more, for a counselor is a name use for someone that would talk to you about problems, it might be a shrink (did I say that) or a lawyer, attorney, etc. We should all take time to learn that when we need a counselor as in someone to talk to, we should start first with Jesus our Lord and in most cases we will not need to go farther. We need to know we can always talk to Jesus and as for the Lawyer part, that type of counselor. You know that if we love Jesus, and work and live for Him, He will be the Lawyer who will defend us in the end. If we don't know Him and He does not know us, He will be the lawyer who puts us to Hell. He is the lawyer who is the final Judge.

Mighty God---There is but one God, He is the Mighty God, He made this world and all that is in it, and will shut it down when He and only He is ready But count on it, it will happen. He has made us, all of us, but some do not believe this. I pray all of you today believe in the one and only Mighty God.

Everlasting Father---Yes, Everlasting because He is in it till the end with us, there will be no others, He is our Heavenly Father, the one who takes care of us and He will not run out on us.

Prince of Peace---Yes, He is the Prince of Peace, and someday and I pray it is soon, we will see this Prince of Peace face to face.

All of the names are for the same person, our Lord God, our Lord Jesus... Amen.

Dear Father in Heaven, please open each name of Yours to all of us this week, today I feel weak when it comes to writing, my head is full of other junk, other stuff, and it needs cleared out. Help me with that which is on my mind, help me deal with it. Lord, be with the others on our request list for prayers, help Your people on this Monday. In the name of Jesus, I pray... and Lord Jesus, please bring that peace, and Father, please send Jesus back for us... Amen.

Now go forth sharing your blessings, and folks as you see in the prayer, I need your prayers for something that is working on my mind. Please pray that God helps me deal with it.
Love ya, Pastor Dan.

May 21, 2010 Living to Please Jesus 5

And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please Him in every way.

Good Morning, my dear brothers and sisters, and happy birthday to our son Keith Lehman Sr. who turns 47 today. Oh how I remember that day as Keith was almost born in the back seat of our Chevrolet Corvair. His mother was in the back seat yelling THE BABY IS COMING, and I was driving as fast as a Corvair would go. He was delivered about 5 minutes after arriving at the hospital.

Today being Friday is the day we center our prayers on those working the fields of harvest for our Lord Jesus. I have some other prayer requests that came in; however, I will post them tomorrow morning as I must leave within an hour to pastor a funeral... I will catch up, please forgive me.

Living to Please Jesus 5: Colossians 1:9 - For this reason since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of His will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. 10 And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please Him in every way, bearing good fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God. (NIV)

The message that I get out of this today, my dear brothers and sisters, is that we should be praying for each other, we should be praying for the lost, and we should be praying for those working in the fields of Harvest to work good and live a good life and gain knowledge in God so that we may in all we do live to please Him. Today as you pray for those working in the fields of Harvest, you might put the name of Timothy Beitzel. Tim has been working the fields for Jesus well since he was still in diapers, well maybe not that long, but for a long time. Now God has called him into the Ministry and Tim is coming off the road as a Courier for God in singing and will soon become a Pastor for the Assemblies of God.

I want to use Tim, whom I know well, but doing this without his knowledge, but I do want to use him because he makes such a great example of one who has indeed lived a life to please God. I know there were times, and I am sure that has really not completely stopped, when Tim and his family had to struggle as Tim would be on the road singing. But that did not stop Tim, for he and his family lived to please God, and the Lord has provided. See, when you put your full trust in God, and you follow Him, He indeed will provide. We pray for Tim as he enters this next stage of following Jesus.

Folks, we never know when God will change our way of living but I do know if we live to please God in ALL WE DO, He will never fail us, NEVER FAIL US. You might not be rich here on earth but those who live to please God and have faith in Jesus will someday get to walk on what some people put so high in their lives. I am talking Gold here, folks, for in heaven the value of Gold is just pavement on the streets and I can hardly wait to see all the other things. Brothers and sisters, please do your best each day to please Jesus and please pray each day and ask for an assignment from Him. Ask Him, God, what do you want me to do for you today? Folks, I must cut this short today and get ready for a funeral, but you are getting my point. Follow Jesus each day, watch those you know who do follow Jesus and talk with them sometime about how much fun it really is. I follow Jesus and someday I will tell you about that walk and how my life has improved each day since I stated doing that.

Dear Father in Heaven, I pray today for my dear brother Tim and all those like him who are going into the fields of Yours to help with the harvest, help to bring in the lost. Protect them, dear Lord, and keep them from falling, slipping or even giving up, for some days it is hard. Lord, furnish them with all they need for this work. In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

Dear brothers and sisters, as I leave you for this day, please take time to pray, please take time to talk one on one to God and please, and you know this is coming... Please take time to share your blessings and after you read this, tell the next person you see, "I love you" and give them a hug. And yes, I love ya. Pastor Dan.

May 20, 2010 Living to please God 4

The Lord was pleased to make you His own.

Good Family Day Thursday Morning to all of you, my dear brothers and sisters. Yesterday I sent something the wrong way, it was a bus museum thing, sorry about that. However, you may surely pray for all those in the Bus Museum for it is a group, folks, who are working very hard to keep the history of passenger transportation going and it is not easy making old buses run. We are indeed a family at the Museum. I think I remind you each week as we pray for families to be sure to pray for the family of God, pray for your church family and be sure, and you might get mad at me for this statement, but be sure your church family indeed is part of the family of God. Also please pray for the family in the White House and all families who visit. And pray today also for military families, so many are away from each other serving our country, you know our Country... AMERICA, ONE NATION UNDER GOD...

Living to Please Jesus 4: 1 Samuel 12: 19 - The People all said to Samuel, "Pray to the Lord your God for your servants so that we will not die, for we have added to all our other sins the evil of asking for a king." 20 "Do not be afraid" Samuel replies. " You have done all this evil; yet do not turn away from the Lord, but SERVE THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART." 21 Do not turn away after useless idols. They can do you no good, nor can they rescue you, because they are useless. 22 For the sake of His great name the Lord will not reject His people, because the Lord was pleased to make you His own. (NIV)

Brothers and sisters, God led me to this scripture and I feel the reason for this scripture is just to show you that the Lord is pleased to make you His own. And yes, brothers and sisters, we are made in His image and He was pleased to do that. He has also pointed out to me that even if we mess up if we do not turn away but serve the Lord with all our hearts He will be pleased. Of course He is not pleased when we live in sin and do not repent for He does not want to see us become a child of Satan.

Brothers and sisters, if we are not living to please God then who do you think you are living to please? There are only two out there when it comes to working for someone, we are either working for God in what we do or we are sliding into a sinful life and that means we are working for the leader of evil... and for sure we are not pleasing God.

So today's lesson tells us not to turn from God, even if we have sinned against Him, but to repent and serve the Lord with all your heart, for that surely will please Him.

1 Samuel 12:24 - Be sure to fear the Lord and serve Him faithfully with all your heart; consider what great things He has done for you. (NIV)

While some people might think the old testament of our Bible does not pertain to us today, they are wrong. Please remember that God The Father, The Lord of that old testament, is our Lord Jesus. We should be the same today and serve the Lord with gladness. The scripture I just wrote tells us to fear the Lord and we should live for Him in reverent fear as the Bible tells us to do, and as we serve Him to please Him we just need to look all around us to see the great things He has done for us.

Dear Father in Heaven, we indeed want to live and please You, but Lord, we really confess today that we can never do it standing alone for evil will suck us up. So Lord, stand shoulder to shoulder with us this day and block evil from us as we do our very best to repent of sin and live to serve and please You. Please be with families this day, bless them, and Lord, may the family in the White House come to You and confess also their lives to You if they have not done that already. Be also with our military families and also church families and I pray that all hook up with You and become part of the family of God. In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen.

Now go forth and share your blessings and love the Lord and serve Him and others... love ya,
Pastor Dan.

May 19, 2010 Living to Please Jesus 3

And may He work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ.

Good Salvation Wednesday morning to you, my dear brothers and sisters. Gosh, these weeks go fast... Midweek already, hump day some call it, but for we on this line we have learned it as Salvation Wednesdays. A day to pray for our brothers and sisters who might not be Born Again and to pray that God will use us to help bring in the lost. And I think we also need to pray for our own selves to come nearer and nearer to God. I just wonder sometimes how many churches still have what was once called prayer meetings, most often held midweek on Wednesday evenings in churches. I also wonder how many churches close up six days a week and only really open for a few hours on Sunday.

Folks, I would like to make this promise today, as long as God lets me write messages and as long as someone is ready, then I am going to do this... Each morning I get up and Dolores will tell you that I don't know what God is going to give me to write. Sometimes He has me work on a series like for the past few weeks, but even with that, He does not point things out for the next day. He speaks to me in the morning while I write, many times feeding it to me one word at a time. Folks, let me get started on the message with that said, for one good way to please God is to listen to Him.

Living to Please God 3: Hebrews 13:20 - May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, 21 equip you with everything good for doing His will, and may He work in us what is pleasing to Him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. (NIV)

I want to take a quick look back at yesterday when I talked to you about the only way to the Father is through Jesus. If you notice in our scripture today you will also see that God will work in us what is pleasing to Him, and that also goes through Jesus Christ. And we are to give the glory to our Lord Jesus. Amen. There is another very, very important scripture found in Hebrews 13, and it is this...

Hebrews 13:8 - Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. (NIV)

Do you have a friend, maybe even a relation, or maybe you can look back to your parents but someone at sometime in your life would be very different from one day to the next? Maybe when you were a child you could do something one day and it would be ok, and the next day maybe you did the same thing and you got a tap on the butt for it. If you look at those people in Washington you can't believe from one day to the next what they are saying for they go by the way the wind blows, or should I say as the polls go. But when we go to the Bible we find that nothing changes, it is the word and as I have told you before that I believe each word in my Bible. I ask questions only to dig deeper into the word of God and to get nearer to the Lord. I laugh when I hear someone talking about a tree that is a million years old or the dinosaurs that are to be so old. No, no, the world is not that old. I believe in the world being created by God in just six days and He rested on the seventh. I believe it all and I believe that we must have faith and by believing all that is in the Bible and living by the examples in the Bible I believe we are pleasing our Lord.

I also love it when God tells us that He is pleased with us. Oh, you say He has never told you He is pleased with You? Did you have breakfast this morning, gosh a good Father gets His children breakfast. You say He never tells you He is pleased with You. Who picks you up and kisses those boo boos and heals them? God the Father loves/loved and always will love His Son Jesus. Listen to these words from God about and to His Son Jesus...

Luke 3:21 - When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as He was praying heaven was opened 22 And the Holy Spirit descended on Him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven; "You are my Son, whom I love, with you I am well pleased." (NIV)

Jesus was baptized by John whom we know as John the Baptist. Jesus did this to set an example for us about being baptized. If we don't get it done will we not get into heaven... No, to get into heaven we just must accept our Lord Jesus as your Savior and repent of sins and work for Him. Being baptized is a great feeling, it is an outward emotion for that inward feeling. Folks, our Lord Jesus never changes but we need to change, each day we should work harder and harder to please Jesus. We should work for Him from dawn to setting sun and that would be the setting sun of our lives... in other words we need to never retire from the service of God.

Ok, live today to please God, see you tomorrow... and remember, today is Salvation Wednesday and if you would lead someone to Jesus I am sure, I am sure that Jesus would be very pleased with you this day.

Dear Father in Heaven... Point those out to us that have not come to You and give us the tools and knowledge to bring in that lost soul to be saved by You. Also, Lord, there is a baby in the womb today that has a cleft lip and we ask that You heal that up before the child is born. Thank You, Lord, for a mother that is keeping this child even with defects... all glory and honor to You, Lord, in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Folks, with the tests of today parents can check over children before they are born and if they see a defect a lot of times the child is aborted (murdered). Thanks to my mother for letting me be born for I had defects and still do, but I am working on them through Jesus. Now share those blessings and keep loving and working for Him... Jesus... love ya, Pastor Dan.

May 18, 2010 Living to Please Jesus

The Lord detests differing weights, and dishonest scales do not please Him.

"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Good Morning, and welcome to Schools day on the line. Please also pray for Barbara and healing for a nasty wound on her leg.

Living to Please Jesus 2: Proverbs 20:23 - The Lord detests differing weights, and dishonest scales do not please Him. (NIV)

John 14:6 - Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (NIV)

Just hearing on the news today that in Lancaster, California, the town leaders are being sued because they still pray before meetings, and they pray in the name of Jesus. The ones bringing the lawsuit say it is ok to pray, you just cannot pray through Jesus or use the name of Jesus. Well, folks, guess what, if we don't put our prayers through Jesus you might as well not pray... Amen... I have been places where they pray and in the end they close with "in his name, I pray"... and I turn to my wife and saying, who is he? Of course I know what they are doing, they are trying to please everyone. Folks, if you really want to live to please Jesus, do not take Him out of your life or your prayers.

A lot of people when talking about John 14:6 refer to it only when going to Heaven, and yes we must go through to get into heaven but the scripture goes far beyond that. Let's take a deep look at it today. When I look at it, yes, I see it as a call for salvation through our Lord Jesus, but to me it means so much more. First, I feel this scripture also covers our prayers going to our Father in Heaven, I think and it was the words of Jesus that are still true today, that to get our prayers to His/our Father in heaven we must let Jesus carry them to Him. Also, the same goes when we talk about healing and we anoint people in the Name of Jesus to be healed by our Father in Heaven. When we pray before a meal and we thank God for our food we thank Him in the name of Jesus.

Those who call themselves Christians and are willing to drop the name of Jesus from their prayers are in my opinion also willing to drop Jesus from their lives from time to time. Folks, we must stand firm, we must, if we want to live to please Jesus, we need to stop putting Him out of our lives. Sometimes some of theses things seem so simple. So what if we must drop the name of Jesus from our prayers, everyone knows who Jesus is and we really are still praying, right? Wrong!! It is Jesus we are trying to please in our day-to-day living, not the president of the United States, or a Senator, or even a family member. We want to please Jesus. Why not just say Dear Father and just end with Amen? WHY NOT? Because Jesus told us Himself that He was the way to The Father and there is no other way. Jesus said He is the one and only way to the Father. Brothers and sisters, if you are praying and then just ending it without Jesus, why not pray like this...

Dear Father in Heaven, today I want to talk to You about my garden and I would appreciate if You would make it grow. In the name of a tomato plant, I pray.... Amen. Do you think that praying through a tomato plant, or a tree, or anything else but Jesus is going to get your prayer home, wake up. I know there are people who pray through angels or saints, but folks, in all honesty the only place I see things getting to heaven, to our Father in Heaven, is if we send it through Jesus.

I have people who will come to me for prayers for healing, and that is good, I anoint people with oil, however, all of my prayers go through Jesus and He will get all the glory if healing occurs or not. All honor and glory to Jesus this day as we live to please Him... All honor and glory to Him... and again, the scripture that backs up my writing today... it is that important that I repeat it again.

John 14:6 - Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (NIV)

Dear Father in Heaven, Barbara needs Your healing hand on the wound on her leg, it is a mess, Lord. Please touch her. Also, Lord, we need You to get into our schools, and touch all who go there, teachers, kids, staff, everyone, Lord. In the name of Jesus, I place my prayers to God The Father... Amen.

Love ya, Pastor Dan.

May 17, 2010 Living to Please Jesus

"I seek not to please myself, but Him who sent me."

Good Monday morning, my dear brothers and sisters. Thanks to all who sent me birthday cards in the mail, by e-mail and by e-cards. You are all wonderful. I had a great day, preached and worked for Jesus on my birthday, then went for my birthday lunch with some birthday money and had enough left over to have a birthday pizza last evening, and in fact am finishing that for breakfast right now. Ah, working for Jesus and having pizza for breakfast, can it get better then that here on earth?

Monday, and the day we pray for our veterans, for our military and for all those who work so hard to keep us safe and healthy. Please, please remember to pray for our commander in chief, first for his soul and then that he guides our United States through the power of the blood of Jesus.

Living to Please God 1: John 5:30 - "By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but Him who sent me." (NIV) (That is Jesus speaking)

One of the neatest things about living to please is that He, Jesus, will never say to you this... I want you to do as I say and not as I do. When I look back on my early years, back when the streets were still dirt, I remember my parents telling me that there are things that adults can do that we kids could not do. To name just a few, my daddy would drink a beer once in a while and of course we could not have that, and my mamma would say to Pop, Webster, you are not setting a good example for the kids. Mamma hated booze, she would not touch a drop. Pop would also enjoy a good cigar or smoking his pipe, but again mamma would say, Webster, you are not setting a good example for the kids. There were other things also, one was I could not drink coffee. I also remember telling our children please don't do as I do, do as I say. That statement is so wrong, my friends, and during this week I want to show you why...

As we live to please Jesus we do not need to worry about many things that Jesus does not want us to do when it comes to following Him. Jesus does not want us to put Him to the test with one exception, and He does not want us to judge others, or we will be judged in the same way. Even in this, that is Jesus looking out for us. This week we are going to be looking at living to please Jesus and I want to tell you right now that if we do indeed live to please Jesus, I mean really live to please Him, that should make our families very, very happy. I would like to tell you how my morning started just today, and it really felt good. I got dressed and went out for my paper, our neighbor "Art" was walking out to get his paper, and we stopped at the edge of the street and prayed together. How often on a Monday morning can you pray with a neighbor at six in the morning, and our prayers were for God to use us, and our wives to bring others to Christ.

So today in our prayers I want to pray the same way for all of you, that today as you follow Jesus that You will also tell others about Him. Will it not be better to tell others about what you learned about Jesus yesterday and how you want to share that, than about just how your day went? As we look this week at living to please Jesus we will find one thing for sure, Jesus most often taught by example. He lived the life He wants you to live, like my dear mamma who wanted me never to "drink", she set the example by the way she lived. And Jesus is still the same, so all the examples in the Bible are valid today... Amen.

Dear Father in Heaven, help us this day and every day to live to please Jesus and to share His life with others... In Jesus name, I ask this... Amen.

Go forth now and share your blessings, which by the way is just one other way to live to please Jesus... Love ya, Pastor Dan.

May 14, 2010 Great Promises 156

"I will come back and take you to be with me."

Good Friday Morning, my dear brothers and sisters. Today is the day we pray for all those working in the fields of harvest for our Lord Jesus. You are doing that, right?

Great Promises 15: John 14:1 - "Do not let your hearts be troubled, Trust in God, trust also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many rooms; If it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." (NIV)

Revelation 22:7 - "Behold, I am coming soon! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy in this book." (NIV)

Revelation 22:12 - "Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done." (NIV)

Revelation 22:20 - "Yes, I am coming soon."(NIV)

I Thessalonians 4:13 - Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep or to grieve like the rest of men who have no hope. 14 We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in Him. 15 According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. (NIV)

Dear brothers and sisters, as I wrap up the series on Great Promises of God, I want to end it just like this, on this promise... HE'S COMING BACK, AND THAT IS A PROMISE OF HIS. Are you ready if it happens today? Are you ready if it happens tonight, ARE YOU READY? Have you been born again? Are you washed in the blood? Have you repented of sins? Are you living for Jesus? Do you love Him today? Or are you like I said the other day, just playing church? God knows your heart, you can't lie to Him, He knows all, sees all and loves us dearly. Some will make it and some will not. Jesus died for us, have we accepted it and are we living for Him?

Folks... HE'S COMING BACK AND THAT IS A PROMISE YOU CAN COUNT ON...

AMEN

Dear Father in Heaven, send us peace, send us Jesus... I ask it in Jesus name, and until that day, help us keep our eye on You and work for You... Amen.

Now go forth and share those blessings and get ready for the coming of Jesus... love ya, Pastor Dan.

May 13, 2010 Great Promises 14

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God.

Good Morning, my dear brothers and sisters, and happy family day, the day we pray for families. Please, in addition to praying for your family and mine, remember to pray for the family in the White House, the Saylors, Idlers, Mayaskis, and the families of that are reached by Brotherhood Native American Outreach. Also pray for Vicki and her family. And most of all, pray please for The Family of God. And folks, please today pray for Jim Orner as he makes some very big decisions. Jim is the father of baby Allie. He needs prayers for healing and prayers about his future at work. Jim is a wonderful man of God who was hurt on the job years ago. Pray for this family, please.

Great Promises 14: 1 John 5:1 - Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves His child as well. 2 This is how we know that we love the children of God; by loving God and carrying out His commands. (NIV)

I want you to look at this great promise today... The scripture tells us that EVERYONE who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God. What a great promise, we just need to believe, and we find that all throughout the Bible, if we just believe we have all these things granted unto us. But you must listen to this part of the message today, we show our love for others, for our brothers and sisters, by, listen to me, by loving God also and by carrying out His commands. Note that it does not say commandments, for maybe if it read that way people would stop at the twelve commandments. The original ten plus the two great commandments which are... Love God and Love your neighbor.

So what are some of those other commands? Here are just a few... I guess I like this one because it is the scripture where we picked the name "Carry The Light". From Mark 16:15 -

Mark 16:15 - He (Jesus) said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation." (NIV)

John 8:12 - When Jesus spoke again to the people, He said. "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." (NIV)

So you see the command that we take the good news, or The Light, into all the world or, in our case, our area of the world. Under the promise of God that we are to work for Him, and please note Jesus did not ask us to go, He commanded us to go. The promise here is that He indeed is the light of the world. If you do not have Christ in your heart today, regardless of how bright the sun might be, you are living in darkness. You can put every light on in your house, but if you do not have the light of Jesus, if you do not have the promises of Jesus living in your heart, then you're in darkness even as you pay that big electric bill. There is no substitute for the light of Jesus. And please, brothers and sisters, do not put Jesus on a DIMMER switch. You know how we put those lights in our house and then a switch that dims them down. How do I mean put Jesus on a dimmer switch? Well, that would be just having Him in your home once in a while. Or maybe I could relate it to you like this. You get up on Sunday Morning and you head to church. Some will be in a church where you could sleep and not miss anything, while others might be jumping and shouting for Jesus. But when church is over, people will come out, and either leave Jesus at church or put Him in the trunk of the car.

Brothers and sisters, let me ask you this... How long has it been since you got up in the morning, during the week, walked outside into your yard and raised your hands in the air and shouted.... THANK YOU JESUS? How long has it been or have you ever gone to your back yard garden alone and sang to/with Jesus that old hymn "In The Garden"? How long has it been, or have you ever done this? Looked around at all the flowers, trees, plants, the clouds, the sky and all the goodness outside and sang to/with Jesus "How Great Thou Art"? How long has it been since you went out someplace and sang with all your heart "Great Is Thy Faithfulness"? How long has it been since you have just dropped to your knees and said... THANK YOU JESUS? Last week I was ripping an old wooden deck off my one trailer getting ready to replace it (a job for today). I gave the old axe a big swing and went through the floor down throough the frame, and there I was. Humbled, no one around, and I had to get up and the only hand that was there to reach me was the hand of Jesus, and yes, after I collected myself up and I prayed, He and He alone helped me back up. Folks, the older I get, the more beat up my body gets, the nearer I get to Jesus. I sing when I am in the yard and I sing loud. I don't care if my neighbors hear me, in fact if they come we can sing together. I love Jesus more and more each day, I am not bragging about it, well maybe I am, and the more I love Jesus the more I love others like, well, like you, and the more I love Jesus and love others the more I want to help them. Folks I am off subject today but on this family day I ask you to fall in love with Jesus all over again... add to your love for Him. Sing to Him and for Him. Stop in your travels and just thank Him. Hang up that cell phone and talk to God. Turn off the TV and listen for God to talk to you.

If you are a youngster back in high school, double date for your prom. Guys, take your best girl and take Jesus also. Girls, take your best guy and Jesus also. If they do not want you because of Jesus, FIND A NEW DATE. A white sport coat and a pink carnation and with Jesus I'm all decked out for the prom. You know I always thought that the day I turned 16 was the best year of my life. I remember that day like it was this week. My birthday was on a Friday, my dad came home from work and we headed to get my learner's permit. We came out of the building and he gave me the keys, drive home son. The next morning at 8 AM I opened the door to the exam center, and passed my drivers test. Look out America, Danny is on the road. But now when I look back, that day is still in my mind. It was 53 years ago this week, but the day that was most important, and I really cannot remember the date but I was 39, was when I was born the second time. When I came on my knees broken and beaten to Christ. It has been a climb since and as I said, each day I fall in love more and more with Jesus. I love my wife more, I love my kids more, I love my friends more, but none of them will ever be number one for that spot is for Jesus... Oh, how I love Jesus...

Thanks for hearing me this morning, I am crying, I am happy, I am blessed, and I got off subject, and I put my heart on the line. I am heading for the shower, and I am going out and singing to the Lord in my back yard. This Saturday we, "Carry The Light", beaten a little, Pam with breast cancer, Dolores with her twisted spine and in so much pain and me, well, just beat up a bit... will be on the road again singing at Cedar Haven in Lebanon Pa. It is going to be fun for we are going to sing to Him. God is good. Let's go out singing today, let's do something different...

Dear Father, give us some words to sing, honor our prayer requests today, Lord, as we sing for You... In Jesus' name today, Lord, I want to confess my love to You and say I am sorry for the days when it was not strong or was not there at all. Lord, bless this day for all Your children... and help us all share those blessings. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

Hit it...

Standing, Standing, Standing on the promises of God, my Savior, Standing, standing I'm Standing on the promises of God... Oh yes I'm; Standing, Standing, Standing on the promises of God, my Savior, Standing, standing I'm Standing on the promises of God

What a day that will be when my Jesus I shall see, and I look upon His face, the one who saved me by His grace; When He takes me by the hand, and leads me through the Promised Land, What a day, glorious day that will be. One more time... hit it hard...

What a day that will be when my Jesus I shall see, and I look upon His face, the one who saved me by His grace; When He takes me by the hand, and leads me through the Promised Land, What a day, glorious day that will be.

Share those blessings brothers and sisters. I love ya... Pastor Dan.

May 12, 2010 Great Promises 13

No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him.
Salvation Wednesday, Salvation Wednesday... Time for our mid-week prayers for Salvation. Folks, when I am asked what kind of preacher I am, and I am sure people are talking denomination, my answer is, I am a Salvation Preacher. Truthfully, I think too much time is spent on the denomination part of pastoring and not enough on the word of God and Salvation. When God called me and put me into the ministry as a pastor, he did not send me to school, he sent me to the senior communities in the most part and instructed me to get the word out. When I look at all who are readers on this line I find we have a lot of denominations that are represented and find that most all feel like I do, the bottom line is we all need to be working for one common goal, Salvation through our Lord Jesus, which is, according to my Bible, the only Salvation we will ever have. I am thrilled this year to be able to teach and preach on my birthday. This coming Sunday, and what better subject to have God give you on your birthday is about being Born Again... Hey, you are welcome at The Bridges.

Prayers beside Salvation today for trash guys and girls. These faithful men and women who hang out on the back of those big trucks and pick up our trash and recycled stuff week after week are great. Think about them folks, pray for them, and today pray for ours as I put out a stack of stuff today. Even in the dead of winter they made each trip and when you get a day off during the week please note that the trash might get picked up a day late, but they must pick it up. God bless our sanitary engineers of the streets and neighborhoods. If you think they are not important, try letting your trash sit for a few weeks... not pretty. On a side note, when I was a kid we had separate garbage collectors, ones who picked up food waste, it was picked up for free by a hog farmer and he fed the hogs and sold them. No cost to the cities, but all we could not feed the pigs the waste off our tables. I once had a job with them. God paid 50 cents an hour and all I could eat...

Great Promises 13: 1 John 3:9 - No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God. 10 This is how we know who the children of God are and who the child of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother. (NIV)

Are you starting to see why I say that those two words, "Born Again" can scare people? I want you to take a real close look at the scripture that God gave to me today, in fact I am going to put it down again... Here we go, please read it over and over again if you need to... I had to.

1 John 3:9 - No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God. 10 This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother. (NIV)

Is it really saying what it reads... Yes of course it is. In my words, no one who is Born Again will keep on sinning. What does it really, really mean, you mean we are not born again if we ever sin again in our lives?Pastors and teachers of the Bible will be quick to tell you that we are all sinners and Jesus took our sins to the cross and He did, but have we stopped sinning? Then pastors and teachers will say, well, we are all going to sin again. Yes, I get caught up in that, for we are sinners by nature, I think. Folks, here is how it is and I guess I need to confess this so you know where I am coming from... I have done this, have you, but I have not done it for years... You are about to do something and you know out and out it is wrong and it is a sin, so before you do it, you ask God to forgive you for what you are about to do. That is so wrong, folks, so wrong, for this is where we need to repent. Maybe you need a complete lifestyle adjustment to get away from this sin. Maybe you tell God you are sorry but go ahead and do it anyway. Wrong, we need to REPENT... Are we going to slip up once in a while, yes, I am sure it will happen but I am sure we should not take our slip-ups so lightly. After all. sin is sin is sin...

When we come to God, truly come to God and stop playing church, did I really say stop playing church? When we really come to God we need to put our trash at His feet (Trash = Sins), and we need to repent, we need to clean our house, meaning our body, mind and soul, of trash by repenting, and yes, some house cleaning of your structure that you live in might be needed also. This scripture tells us and again I am putting down the scripture as it is so important.

(NIV)

NO ONE WHO IS BORN OF GOD WILL CONTINUE TO SIN... So folks, we need to look into that mirror and look at the face we wash each morning and ask this question of ourselves. Have I really been born again or am I messing with it, am I playing church? Has your life changed when you were born again? If it did not, then you really need to look deep into yourself and ask yourself and God this question... Am I really saved? Oh, we pastors like to dress it up and say pray this today and you will be saved. Oh, folks, and yes I do it, but it is just the very first step, a baby step, one tiny step toward salvation. Then the hard part, we must STOP SINNING. We have asked God into our hearts and lives and we must start living like it. Folks, those non-believers sometimes look at one who calls themselves Christians and will say if I must live like that, I don't want to be a Christian. And they are not talking about clean living but talking about what they see some SO CALLED Christians doing.

You cannot go on sinning once you are born again, and it might mean you need to make serious lifestyle changes that begin by giving some things up. It might mean you must stop going to the coffee break room at work to get away for the gossip, and I mean just hearing it can be as bad as passing it on, unless you speak up and tell others to stop it. Did you hear about the boss today, do you know what he did last night? You might hear. Are you willing to say, I don't want to hear, let's talk about something else and not somebody else unless it is kind and good. That takes in the last part of the scripture that reads, Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother, (also meaning sister).

Brothers and sisters, I am calling you this day to look deep into that mirror, give yourself an examination and ask this question... Am I really born again? I think I am, but darn it, I want to be sure of it. I want to know I am going to heaven, I do not want to be turned away at the gate.
I want us (us=you and me) to understand fully that this is not a joke, this is serious stuff. We (we=you and me) need to stop playing church, again we need to STOP PLAYING CHURCH and we need to act like children of God if we are truly born again, Born Again, BORN AGAIN. Don't let the words scare you, brothers and sisters, let the lack of action to be Born Again scare you and may it scare the SIN out of you. I hope this message does this today, for I am sure God is not just pointing this message at any or all of you, but telling me the same thing... REPENT, REPENT, FOR THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS NEAR... come forth, my brothers and sisters, and be WASHED IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS AND give up sins... Repent, for Jesus is coming back, and you can count on it... What you need to really count on is this... ARE YOU READY IF IT HAPPENS TODAY?????

Dear Father in Heaven, I want to look You in the face today and say, I am really looking deep into my own heart... Have I fully come to You, or am I playing games or playing church, as I called it in the message? Forgive me today and all who ask and Lord bless them and help us and we need this help, help us to repent... In Jesus Name, I pray. Amen.

Was I hard on us today, maybe, but once in a while we really need it, in fact we need it more often than I write about it. Go forth now sharing your blessings, and if you want to share this message, feel free. You will be blessed by God if you do or if you don't, for your blessings come from Him... Love ya, Pastor Dan.

May 11, 2010 Great Promises 12

"I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again."

Good Schools day morning to you, my dear brothers and sisters. This morning Dolores and I are heading to The Bridges for a sing-a-long. Our flock just loves to sing and when we go it is most always all the old hymns of the church. Two weeks ago we even sang Christmas Carols, and if you know me, you know I like Christmas Music. Here it is mid-May and we still have our Christmas tree up, and in fact we have decided after all these years we are not taking it down anymore.

Great Promises 12: John 3:3 - In reply Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again." 4 "How can a man be born when he is old?" Nicodemus asked. "Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb to be born!" 5 Jesus answered "I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. 6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. 7 You should not be surprised at my saying, 'You must be born again.'" (NIV)

Are you one of those "Born Again Christian" types? Gosh, I hope and pray you are, for if you are not a "Born Again" Christian, you are not a Christian, and you are not going to get into heaven and there is only one other place to go. Those two words scare a lot of people, and why, in my opinion they just do not understand it. I think sometimes people think of "Born Again" as we who jump and shout for the Lord.

So today you might ask, how do I become "Born Again"? Well, some might want to make a big issue out of it, but it is really simple, for our Lord Jesus paid the price for us to be born again. We really just need to accept what Jesus did, we need to believe and we need to have faith.

We need to live our lives in REVERENT FEAR. We need to live knowing and understanding that we are not saved by things that perish like gold, silver, money, but we are saved by the very blood of our Lord Jesus which still flows today. We need to believe that Jesus did die for us but was risen from the dead by God who glorified Him. We need to be purified by obeying the truth so that you have really sincere love for your brothers and sisters regardless of their sins, their skin color, or even their religion. We need to love them all. We also need to hate their sins. And listen to this, we need to repent from our sins.

Let me say this, you cannot truly walk with Jesus and also walk in your past sinful life. You want to be born again, and again I say to get started it is not hard for Jesus died for us, but after we are born again things change, we change. I changed, you change, or will, when you become born again. You cannot be born again and stay as you were before that happened. If you have not changed, then you, without me judging, just might not be Born Again and if you are not born again you are not getting into Heaven for THAT IS A PROMISE OF GOD.

Maybe this makes it easy... When a baby is born they are pure, they come out of the womb naked and wanting to eat, they are looking for the pure clean milk of their mother. Once we become born again, our sins our washed away and we should be looking for the pure clean way of living as in following Jesus. We need to rid ourselves of hate against others, we need to honor all promises we make, as in paying our bills, etc., we need to never slander others and we need to crave spiritual milk. We need to do all these things so we can grow up and grow closer to our Lord Jesus.

Would you like to renew or take the first step today in being born again? It is confessing our faith in God? I take the scriptures from Romans 10: 9/10:

Romans 10: 9/10 - That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. (NIV)

So let's do it and tomorrow we will look even deeper into being "Born Again".

Dear Father in Heaven, I confess today that I love Jesus and I do believe that Jesus is Lord and I believe that You raised Him from the dead and I trust that You will save me in the end through the dead and the risen Savior. Clean me this day, dear Father, and help me repent. In the name of Jesus, I pray... Amen.

Done in faith, you are Born Again... and now, and NOW we need to get living for Jesus and that is not always easy, but if we work together, if we stay in the word, and if we hang out with other believers it makes it better than it was. I am telling you if when you were Born Again or Saved as we also call "Coming to Jesus", we will change. You cannot trick God, He knows if you came in faith or if you are "putting on the dog". More tomorrow...

Now go forth and share those blessings, something you will do better and better once you are born again... and know this today, Jesus loves you, loves you enough that He died for You, for me. I love ya, also see you tomorrow on Salvation Wednesday... Pastor Dan.

May 10, 2010 Great Promises 11

There is a time for everything!

Good Monday, pray for our troops day, dear brothers and sisters. Saturday I was so blessed to be on our Capitol steps in Harrisburg Pa and give the invocation and benediction for the annual support our troops rally. I was honored to be able to take just a minute and tell about the Lord's Trumpet that will sound someday, I did this just after taps was played to close the event. God is good. Please take time to pray today for our veterans, and please remember we have disabled veterans who are just 18 years old and they do need our prayers and our feet put on our prayers. Please remember to pray for our president and pray first for his salvation and then that he brings things to our Father through Jesus before he brings things to the public. Also pray for all others who work to keep us safe and healthy.

Great Promises 11: Ecclesiastes 3:1 - There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven. 2 A time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot. (NIV)

Brothers and sisters, if you read through these verses in Ecclesiastes you will see many promises from God. I must confess to you when I started writing about great promises I never dreamed that God would open so many of them to me. I thought maybe at the most it would be a two or three day topic or series and here I am in the third week and finding more and more. I could write for a week or maybe even two on just the promises in Ecclesiastes 3 starting with verse one. Let's take a few minutes and look at just some of them. And they are promises, my friends, and most of us have seen them carried out. There are some we should really learn from like this one...

"A time to be silent and a time to speak." Well golly, God put that one right in my face. I have trouble with the being silent part. I have trouble with this one also and I am not alone on it. Are you a clutter person? "A time to keep and a time to throw away." Some of those are more telling us what to do than a great promises, but look at these and again I will go back to the scripture of the day...

Ecclesiastes 3:1 - There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven. 2 A time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot. (NIV)

This coming Sunday I will turn 69, where did the years go? I know that there are more years behind me than out in front. What was the longest year of my life? Between 15 and 16 when I was waiting for that driver's license. What one went the fastest? All of the rest of them since high school...

Yes, there is a time to be born and a time to die... a time to plant and a time to harvest. It is all in God's plans for us, it is all part of the promises of God. Here is a another great promise of God and let me lead into it by a question. In the end who will be judged by God? Do you think that there are people out there that have been so good they will not be judged? Read this promise of God -

Ecclesiastes 3: 17 - "God will bring to judgment both the righteous and the wicked, for there will be a time for every activity, a time for every deed." (NIV)

Tomorrow I want to write about those two words that scare many people... "BORN AGAIN". Have you ever had someone come to you and ask this question, Are you one of those "Born Again Christians"? Folks, if you want to get into heaven, you better be one of those "Born Again Christians", for that must be done to get in... Born Twice... Read about it tomorrow.

This just in on the news. In some nursing homes and retirement homes that receive government assistance they are now telling the seniors that they CANNOT PRAY before the meal. Why, because the government had to do something with the food? NO FOLKS, GOD FURNISHED THE FOOD, NOT OUR GOVERNMENT. Our government never grew food. Folks, if you hear of one of these homes, let me know for I WILL GO THERE AND PRAY. And remember this folks, no one, no one, I said, NO ONE can stop you from praying. GOD'S LINE IS ALWAYS OPEN... TRY IT RIGHT NOW WITH ME.

Dear Father in Heaven... How are You? We are fine, thanks to You, we have had something to eat, we have a house, we have electric, and yes, if the people are praying with me now they even have a computer. With this tool, Lord, we hope to reach more and more people for You. Help us this day with that. Lord, help us know that our governments of the world are not in control, You and only You are. Help us to spread that word. And Lord, I pray for our President that he might fall face down and come to You, he will fall in love with You so much that he can't stop talking about You. Lord, protect our country and our military, and please Lord, we pray for peace today asking that Your Trumpet is sounded and You return... Love ya, Lord, and pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Go forth and today as you count your blessings and SHARE THEM, also count the promises of God... How many will you deal with today? Hey, love all of you... Pastor Dan.

May 7, 2010 Great Promises 10

"Ask and it will be given to you."

Good Friday Morning, my dear brothers and sisters, and it is a beauty here at the Southern Location of the North Pole. REMEMBER TOMORROW. On the Capitol steps in Harrisburg Pennsylvania at HIGH NOON, a support your troops rally. Come out and shake the hand of some veterans and pray and reach out to the fighting men and women of our military. We are indeed a nation at war and it is not just in foreign countries... Look at our border states where people are sneaking in, and look what happened last week in New York City. Folks, we get our personal freedom from Jesus Christ and only Jesus Christ, but our freedoms in our country are thanks first to God and then to the men and women of our military, past and present. Come out and get to shake the hand of one the best looking veterans of all times... My wife. She will be at the top of the steps tomorrow along with me (I am not a vet, but am honored to be the one praying for the event and the country). God is good, I hope to see you tomorrow... Bring your flag and wave it... Amen.

Great Promises 10: Matthew 7:7 - "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened." (NIV)

Yesterday I was listening to a local talk radio show and the host, the man from under the hat, Bob Durgan (he will be on the steps tomorrow also), was interviewing an atheist. There were several people who called themselves Christians and even Born Again Christians (if you are not born again you are not a Christian) who tried to sell this man on God. The atheist said he just wanted proof that there was a God and He made all this. Each person would point out parts of the Bible and did a good job of quoting scriptures but the atheist always had a comeback. None of the persons calling in stopped and just prayed for the man. Folks, we just need to pray for these folks who do not believe and keep loving them as our neighbors. They will best believe when they see Jesus in you, not a salesman trying to sell them something.

Brothers and sisters, our relationship with Jesus is based on faith, love, trust, and knowing in our hearts that He is real. Look at the scriptures I have been writing these past two weeks and there are more to come on Great Promises, what good are they if we do not have faith in them? Yesterday the atheist said that if today God would set in place the missing pieces to the Walnut Street Bridge then He would believe in God. Does he not know that God put in the ground the steel that was brought up, molded, and formed, and the talents of men given to them by God was used to make the first bridge. No, he cannot think that far. He admitted that he did not know where the things came from for if indeed God made it, who made God, he asked.

Folks, my message to you today is clear, we need to believe all that is in the Bible from one end to the other, but we also must live it, for the way we live is the selling point for others to believe. Remember it is faith, love, believing and Living for Jesus that will sell Him to others, not just talking about it. Pray for those you are working with, pray for God to open their hearts, get the seeds planted, water those seeds, keep being nice to them. Treat them like your brother or sister for they really are, remember they are also children of God, they just don't believe it, we already know we are all God's children.

Myself, I would find it harder not to believe, for everyplace I look I can see God, but it was not always that way. Folks, this man, and I forget his name, comes on the radio often and talks about being a non-believer and I really think he wants to believe and is fishing. He wants it proved to him. Folks, living a life for Jesus is so important, and once you sign on for Jesus, people really watch you, even others who are saved. The scriptures I picked today, are really three great promises. You count them... In fact you might get more than three. Here is that word again...

Matthew 7:7 - "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened." (NIV)

You see, a non-believer might ask for a million dollars, a believer just asks for a blessing they might share. Seek and you will find... A non-believer might be seeking the wrong things, and while believers can also seek it, what God is really telling us here is to seek Him and we will find Him. And the knocking, well folks, I am going to someday stand at the door and knock and I pray the door will be opened to me. The Bible and the song tells it like this... Prayer is the key to heaven, but it's faith that unlocks the door.

Dear Father in Heaven, today we pray for all those working in the fields of Harvest for You. Lord, I pray we are all doing just that, working for You. There are many non-believers and many sitting on the fence. Lord, help us to get the word out by living it to please You. Help us this weekend on the steps of our Capitol, and Lord, may people see You in me and may my message be about You and for the troops and others there. Lord, help us to remember that all things good come from You. Please, Lord, help us to learn to share our blessings. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Go forth now sharing your blessings, sharing the love of Jesus and living to please Him, and if you indeed live to please Him, all others should be happy with You. Be blessed, see you tomorrow on the Capitol steps. Love ya, Pastor Dan.

May 6, 2010 Great Promises 9

"And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men."

Good National Day of Prayer and Nurses Day Thursday, my dear brothers and sisters. It is a wonderful blessed day today as it is every day here at the Southern Location of the North Pole. I am sure if you look you will find it the same way just where you are today. It is family day also on the line, so please take time to pray for all families including the one that resides in our people's house in Washington DC. Pray also for the Dodson family in the passing of their mother and grandmother. Also pray for Karen as she undergoes some heart tests. (to my kids, no relation).

Great Promises 9 Matthew 6:5 - "And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. 6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words." (NIV)

When I take a look at our National Day of Prayer, and folks, I love it, but it does get a tad confusing to me when it comes to what our Lord Jesus said in the scriptures above. You know the part about standing on the street corners to be seen by man. If you are gathering in faith today just to stand shoulder to shoulder with other Christian brothers and sisters and you are praying in faith, great. If you are just coming out to have a crowd there to appear nice to the news, WRONG IDEA. Please, folks, use this day, as every day, to talk to God through our Lord Jesus, and today please add those nurses to your prayers also for it is also a day in the United States we call nurses day. Maybe they are together for a reason, maybe not. But I think nurses are truly a blessing of God.

Also if you are going to a government building today to pray that is also good, but folks, did you know that you can go pray over our government buildings every day of the year? No one will stop you. Go in as a visitor and just stop and pray quietly to God. One on one as He taught us to pray..
.

Each year on this day it sort of reminds me about how we used to have prayer in our schools, and folks, do you know we still can and we really do. No one, let me say that again, no one can keep God out of anyplace. The American Civil Liberties Union might think they can stop us from praying in schools or they think they can keep Jesus out, but no, we have control over that as we pray to God through our Lord Jesus. The American Civil Liberties Union nor no one else will ever stand between me and my Lord God. AMEN, and I pray that you are the same way today.

I hope you all noticed how one great man of God, Reverend Franklin Graham, was told he could not speak today in Washington at the Pentagon Building because of statements he made about Muslims and how he stood fast to his word for God by saying he loved the Muslims and prayed for them to come to God through Jesus Christ. He did not change so he could speak at the Pentagon Building, but held fast to God. Way to go, Reverend Graham, thanks for standing steadfast for our Lord Jesus.

I have very, very dear friends who work so hard with "March for Jesus" and their faith and love for our Lord Jesus is outstanding and all they do for others and for Him is done in faith. I admire the work this couple have done and still do. Their names are Ross and Ruth Willard, and they will welcome you today with open arms at the State Capitol in Harrisburg Pa. But I also know this couple does not just pray today, it is a very major part of their lives and they reach a lot of people for our Lord Jesus, which is what it is all about. Getting into the government buildings to pray is one thing, it is reaching the people about salvation through our Lord Jesus, which is the bottom line. And while Ross and Ruth are saved and while they cannot save you, they will for sure if you talk to them, point you in the right direction to become saved. I will never forget the prayer support that they over the years have given Carry The Light Ministries. In fact one year Ross, who loves to skate, skated around our trailer while we were singing gospel music in a parade. And Ruth walked along side of our float praying for us the whole time not out loud calling this to the attention of others, just calling on God to help us and to open hearts of those along the parade route to understand the words of the songs.

So folks, know this, folks, when walking with and for God, He will protect you, He will open doors WHERE HE WANTS YOU TO BE, and you will be able to pray. Remember please that we have 365 National Days of prayer and every four years God gives us another day. So enjoy this day and pray, but remember there is a tomorrow and we shall pray again, and then there is Saturday, May 8th, which is this Saturday, when we once again go to the Capitol Steps and this time to support our troops, and this support our troops rally will start at High Noon and I have been blessed to come and open and close it with prayer... See, we can always pray on Government property.... AND ALL GOD'S PEOPLE SAID Amen....

Dear Father in Heaven, I want to go back to the scripture this morning and just pray the prayer You taught us to pray... "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread, forgive us our debts as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one... In Jesus name, I have been taught this prayer and pray it today... Amen.

The prayer I used today was from my New International Version of the Bible. Now go forth and share your blessings, and remember to pray each day. love ya, dan.
