Dear Father in Heaven, thanks for being with me this day in the plow truck and keeping me safe. I love You, Jesus. I really do. Thanks for dying for all of us, dear Lord, and thanks for all the promises You have given to us. Thanks for helping me write about them. Please be with Glenn Garner and heal him, touch his family also. Lord, be with those getting married tomorrow and bless those couples, and help them go forth and bear children. Now, Lord, help me write the message today and then help me dispatch it. In Jesus' Name, Amen. And Lord, I want to tell You again I love You. And thanks for loving me. I am so unworthy. Amen.
What a great day, and boy, did it snow. As fast as I could plow a lot, it would cover over with snow again. But brothers and sisters, it was a great day. And tomorrow we do it all again. Let me get to the message, and again we are looking at those promises from God.
Thursday: February 13, 2014, "I Promise!" (Day Fifteen).
John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. (NIV)
As we look at this great promise, we see that some of this promise is already carried out. God The Father has given His Son. This promise keeps giving, but again we see this "attachment" to the promise, He gave His Son to those of US WHO BELIEVE IN HIM. Of course you do understand that this is another gift of love, for God is love. Another promise in this scripture is that Jesus was not sent to CONDEMN, but to SAVE. Again, we just need to believe.
John 3:19 - This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. 20 Everyone who does evil hates the Light, and will not come into the Light, and will not come into the Light for fear that his deed will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God. (NIV)
This is the promise of the Light (Jesus) coming into the world; however, the scripture tells us that evil men (women) hate the light, because their evil deeds can be seen. The promise is that if we live by the truth we will come into the Light and again the Light is Jesus and we have His promise that what we do that is good is done through God. In other words, without us loving the Lord we would not be doing good.
If folks would just learn that if we truly love God, He will light our path, open doors for us, take care of us, and as I have been writing about, will just take care of us and help us day after day after day. Can someone shout out with me? THANK YOU, JESUS, I LOVE YOU, JESUS!
Now go forth and share your blessings and know that Jesus loves you, and yes, I love ya also. Please pass on that love.
