Brothers and Sisters, on this Monday, a Holiday in the United States of America, one called Martin Luther King Jr. day, and with tomorrow a new President going into office, a man who is of a mixed race, I want to point this out ... Red, Yellow, Black, White, Brown, and all shades of those colors we need to remember this ... WE ARE ALL CHILDREN OF GOD ... EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US IS EQUAL IN THE EYES OF OUR LORD JESUS ... HE DIED FOR ALL OF US ... He did not die for white people, or black people, or brown people or red people or yellow people, He died for all of us, because He loved and still loves us ... We are made in His image and He knew us before we were in our mother's womb ...
If everyone would love Jesus as much as He loves us, there would be peace ... If we could just learn to love Jesus and love our neighbors would it not be wonderful ... BROTHERS AND SISTERS, THESE ARE COMMANDMENTS ... AND IF YOU WANT TO GO TO HEAVEN, YOU BETTER BE LOVING JESUS, And others also ...
There would be a lot of temptations to not do this, but we need to get in the loving move ... Today I ask you, will you follow the commandments of Jesus ... Martin Luther King Jr. had a dream that all folks would get along ... Jesus wanted it so bad that He made it a commandment and then died for it ... Lets pray ...
Dear Father in Heaven, Help us please to follow Your commandments and love all others and Love You above all else ... Father bless our nation and keep us safe as we install a new president this week ... Bless President Bush as he leaves office and bless President Elect Obama as he comes into office ... bless and keep safe also their families and friends and staff ... And Lord protect all those heading to Washington for the activities there, and bless all who are in the protection business, our military, our police, firefighters and all others working for safety ... Thanks Lord ... In the name of Jesus, Amen.
Go forth, enjoy your holiday, and remember to not just carry out the dreams of Reverend King, but also the commandments of our Lord Jesus ... and remember to share those blessings! Love ya, dan.
Tomorrow more on Temptations .......
