Wednesday July 27 2011 Sing to/for Him 2

Praise The Lord. Praise God in His sanctuary, praise Him in His mighty Heavens. Praise Him for His acts of power; praise Him for his surpassing greatness. Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet, Praise Him with the harp and lyre. Praise Him with tambourine and dancing, praise Him with the strings and flute, praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise Him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath PRAISE THE LORD.

Good Salvation Wednesday Morning, my dear brothers and sisters. PRAISE THE LORD. Before I forget, I need to ask you to look at a prayer request that came in, I left it as received and it is after my message of today. And for the writings of the next two days, I am not sure what time of day you will get them. Our days are full, with doctor appointments for Dolores and Sing-a-Longs, wedding rehearsals, etc. I am going to make every effort to get it done, for I am indeed working for God.

Salvation Wednesday and the day we pray for the unsaved, and please, pray hard for this and for God to use those who are saved to help bring in the Lost.

Singing to/for Him, Day 2: Psalm 150:1 - Praise The Lord. Praise God in His sanctuary, praise Him in His mighty Heavens. 2 Praise Him for His acts of power; praise Him for his surpassing greatness. 3 Praise Him with the sounding of the trumpet, Praise Him with the harp and lyre. 4 Praise Him with tambourine and dancing, praise Him with the strings and flute. 5 Praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise Him with resounding cymbals. 6 Let everything that has breath, PRAISE THE LORD. (NIV)

Brothers and sisters, are you breathing right now? Of course you are! So you know what comes next right, and let's shout it out... PRAISE THE LORD, PRAISE YOU JESUS, PRAISE YOU AND THANK YOU JESUS... Yes, we are going to be singing today again, and yes, we are going to be doing it all this week. God is good, and He loves to hear us singing, and if you can't carry the tune, even in a bucket, well, then, you are the ones making the joyful noise unto the Lord.

First just a few words about Salvation, since it is Salvation Wednesday. Folks, we need to be working hard to get the word out to the lost, and since we all cannot get to everyone, we must work hard with others. For instance, one of the things that God talks about is visiting folks in prison, and folks, I have only done that once in my life and I was in the youth choir at the 29th Street Church in Harrisburg, Pa., and the Dauphin County Jail was in downtown Harrisburg. Our ministry is full, but we have friends that visit there. Again, not any one person can do it all for Him, so we must, I say WE MUST, work together, pull our fair share so to speak. There is work to be done, folks, and we cannot save a person, but it is up to us to get the word out, us meaning YOU AND ME. So lets get cracking!

For now, we are going to be singing. Let's see if I can pick a couple and have you just plant one of them on your mind. I can tell you now that on Friday, whatever the time is when you get the message, we will be singing some old hymns. Wherever you are, you should be able to sing this, and the one the song is about should feel welcomes... ready...

Holy Spirit, Thou Art Welcome: Dottie Rambo, David Huntsinger

Holy Spirit, Thou Art Welcome in this place, Holy Spirit, Thou Art welcome in this place.
Omnipotent Father of mercy and grace, Thou art welcome in this place.

Holy Spirit, Thou Art Welcome in this place, Holy Spirit, Thou Art welcome in this place.
Omnipotent Father of mercy and grace, Thou art welcome in this place.

Holy Spirit, Thou Art Welcome in this place, Holy Spirit, Thou Art welcome in this place.
Omnipotent Father of mercy and grace, Thou art welcome in this place.

(One more time, real soft)

Holy Spirit, Thou Art Welcome in this place, Holy Spirit, Thou Art welcome in this place.
Omnipotent Father of mercy and grace, Thou art welcome in this place.

Rock of Ages: Augustus M. Toplady Thomas Hastings

Rock of Ages cleft for me, Let me hide myself in Thee.
Let the water and the blood, from Thy wounded side which flowed, be of sin the double cure, Save from wrath and make me pure.

While I draw this fleeting breath, when my eyes shall close in death, when I rise to worlds unknown, and behold Thee on Thy Throne, Rock of Ages cleft for me, Let me hide myself in Thee.

His Name Is Wonderful: Audrey Mieir

His name is Wonderful; His name is Wonderful; His name is Wonderful, Jesus, my Lord. He is the Mighty King, Master of everything, His name is Wonderful, Jesus my Lord. He's the Great Shepherd, The Rock of all ages, Almighty God is He. Bow down before Him, love and adore Him, His name is Wonderful Jesus my Lord.

Dear Father in Heaven, Your name is Wonderful and we want to lift You in praise not just today but each and every day. Seems we are always asking you for things, but never praising You enough, I am so sorry about that, help me get better in my Praises and less in my asking, and more in my working for You. Help us bring in the lost today, in the name of Jesus I pray, and Lord, please look over the prayer requests coming in from Donna and others... Your will be done as always. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

And now is the one to plant on your mind, so sing it over and over and over...

Go Forth sharing your blessings. Love ya, Pastor Dan.

Hi...
I actually have -3- prayer requests for you.
The first one is for the family of Ami Gruber ........(she is my
hairdresser, and also a friend) a couple of days ago her husband of 18
years suddenly passed away at the age of 46. He was a truck driver and was in Albany
N.Y. doing a truck load....when he was suddenly overcome. I do not
know if it was a heart attack or a stroke....but, I am pretty sure that
it was one of those. Ami and her husband, Kelly (that is the name of
the man that passed away) have -2- sons ........they are on Summer vacation from
school right now and one of those sons was with his Dad at the time when
he passed away. (he went to do the trucking trip with his Dad)

the -2nd prayer request is for a woman named Bobbie Needle ....she is a
massage therapist....and she is also a friend ....she just found out a
couple of days ago that she had a really bad report from her last
mammogram.....she had a surgery date set today and will need to have a
double mastectomy ......they are acting very quickly on this....because it is
pretty far advanced.....(her mammogram of last year was fine though)
She is needing to have some prayers.....for her and for her family.

the -3rd prayers request is for a woman who's name is Marsha Hunsicker
..........that request for prayer came to me via the computer and the
message that I received was from my niece.....and her name is Michele
Herman. Marsha and Michele are sisters ........ Marsha is needing to
have some major prayers at this time in her life. I am going to
forward over to you the same email that I received because it will
describe much better
the seriousness of Marsha's illness.
(Oh......Michele Herman is also the Mom of a young man named Patrick
Herman who I had asked you for some prayers for almost a year ago....
Patrick has cerebral palsy (like my son, Michael does) and Patrick had
some major spinal surgery done (it was from the base of his skull all the
way down to his tail bone) they put in metal rods all the way down his
back..........it is to help him with some major spinal curving....the
curving was
putting pressure on a lot of his internal organs and was becoming quite
dangerous to him. (Patrick is 21 yrs. old)
This is a whole family unit who has had a lot of stuff going on in their
lives.

Any prayers for these -3- situations will be greatly appreciated.
Our Mom is doing basically about the same.......although she is
shrinking more each time I see her.......and her hair is becoming more
and more
"curly" .......we just cannot figure out how that is happening (but her
hair is beautiful ! )

Take Care and God Bless..... Donna (Gabby)
