November 29 & 30 2010: The Virgin Mary 1

In the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The Virgin's name was Mary.

Good Tuesday Morning, my dear brothers and sisters, I am so sorry about yesterday. I want to thank all who checked on us as most of you know that Dolores is in bad shape and I am pushing at this time of year. Yesterday I got up very early with the intent to write later in the day, I needed to get my truck inspected and was at my son's garage early to have it done. Then home and into our ministry truck with trailer in tow picking up food carts at business places. That went on till after 1.00 PM then I stopped at our food store to pick up a couple of free turkeys. While I was there I was told no one picked up the day out (out of date) bread and cakes, etc. So I loaded that out. I had just received a load on Friday as Grant and Wanda Crockett gifted us with their day for the day outs.

Wow are we loaded with bread and pies and cakes and it is wonderful, except we have 50 turkeys and hams coming Friday and our freezers are full, all four of them. So I am thinking, another freezer is in order. God is good and the food pantry is growing so fast. Families coming most days and we are nearing 75 coming for our Christmas handout. Last year we did one hundred and one families. So this year we have already gone over that at least 75 coming for Christmas, and we have helped over, well over sixty so far this year... God is so good, and we thank all on this line who have sent checks, free turkey slips, and dropped off foo.. Last evening our one daughter and two granddaughters came and sorted food that came in yesterday. On this Saturday we are going to be sorting and packing again, starting at 1.30 PM when we come in from Allenberry. With Dolores hurting so bad it is like someone has cut off one of my arms. She is such a trooper. Please pray this week for all those families who are in need and there are a bunch of them and also for our Ministry and for Dolores, and all those coming to help... and pray for me also. Thanks. Let's get to the message...

The Virgin Mary (1): Luke 1:26 - In the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, 27 to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The Virgin's name was Mary. 28 The angel went to her and said, "Greetings, you are highly favored ! The Lord is with You." (NIV)

All this week I am going to be writing about Mary and I want all of you (men included) to put your feet in the sandals of Mary. How would you feel? Now in the scripture we see it starts out in the sixth month, and that is the sixth month of Elizabeth being in that motherly way carrying John, or John the Baptist as we know him, the front runner of Jesus. Now we will talk about that after Christmas as we go into the life of Jesus.

This Angel Gabriel was a busy guy, first telling the coming of John the Baptist and now going to Mary and telling her that she is highly favored. What does that mean, you are highly favored? Well, when you are good and you are walking with God, He finds favor in us, all of us, and again I say all of us when we are walking with God, walking daily with God, not an off and on relationship, but solid love for Jesus. You do remember how God found favor in Noah and his family?

So think about this, think about it, how would you feel if one day you are standing in the kitchen of your home, or at the water cooler at work and this angel pulls up and tells you that God has found favor in you? You are standing there and right now you are alone and you look up and it is bright, and you see this angel sitting at your table. And maybe it would go like this... Angel, Hi there! How are you? You say nothing because you are scared to death... You might be reaching for your gun even, who is this guy, how did he get into my house, into our home... and you say, WHO ARE YOU? AND WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY HOUSE? You reach for your phone to dial 911 you want the police. "Slow down" old Gabriel tells you, "Slow Down" and he tells you who he is. I want you to really think about this today, how would you act, and also how might God call on you.

So you think this could not happen... Go check out Hebrews 13:8 which I have used often. You say that you are not worthy of God using you, think again. God found favor in Noah, and in Elizabeth and now we look at Mary, but what about all of us? Do you think for one minute that God has not found some favor in me! I am so unworthy of it, but God has GIFTED ME, with this writing, and for a guy who struggles even to read God is using me and He wants to use you also, all of you.

Did the Angel of the Lord, old Gabriel, come and sit on the end of my bathtub or in a chair in my living room? NO, but God did speak to my heart and if you pray and take time to listen you will find He also speaks to you. Answer the call, folks, answer the call. None of us was worthy, but if we come to Jesus we are clean again, then, brothers and sisters, and only because of Jesus, we become worthy. We are forgiven and cleaned up and if we live for Him, He will call on you for something. Yes, He will, so listen up for Jesus to speak to your heart.

Tomorrow, more on Mary and what it might be like to find yourself carrying a baby and you have never had sex. Men, this might be hard for you to think about, but think about this, how would you feel if your girlfriend came to you saying she was going to have a baby and she had not had sex?

Dear Father in Heaven, thanks for using me, thanks for using all those who walk with You and who answer the call to work for You. Help us this day to walk with you, talk with You and follow You in Your walk. Heal those who are sick, and please, please heal my wife. In Jesus' name, I give thanks for our food pantry and all who are helping with this work for You. In Jesus' name thank You for finding favor in me to work for You. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

Please follow me daily as we head to the Birth of Christ. Now go forward sharing your blessings, loving others and living for Jesus... Love ya, Pastor Dan .

Black Friday 2010 Special Announcement

"For God so Loved the world that He gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."

Good Black Friday Morning to all of you, my dear brothers and sisters. I do have a special announcement this day... I see all those people on the news, lining up in the rain and snow waiting for the stores to open to get the best bargains, some have coupons, others discount slips. Some have waited for over 12 hours, others have pitched a tent...

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT---SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT---SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT...

Today and everyday... Free Salvation through the blood of Jesus, no lines to fight, just get on your knees and pray for God to forgive you of your sins and then invite Him into your heart... The Gift of Salvation is free, but it was not cheap nor is it cheap today for Jesus paid the price in full for us when he died on the cross for us.

John 1:1 - In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In Him was life, and that life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it. 14 The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from The Father, full of grace and truth. (NIV)

John 3:16 - "For God so Loved the world that He gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." (NIV)

John 14:6 - Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on you do know Him and have seen Him. (NIV)

Romans 10:9 - That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." (NIV)

This Sunday morning I want all of you to go to church, in fact I want you to go and line up on Saturday evening, pitch a tent, get in line first, get a good seat... Lutheran, United Methodist, Baptist, Assembly of God, Church in Christ, Church of God, the Free Churches, etc., all of you, go and line up, pitch that tent, and be sure you are there early so you don't miss out... The first 10 through the door will get their name put in a hat and there will be a drawing, that person who wins will get to go to heaven... Oh stop it Dan, just stop it... SALVATION IS FREE, AND IT IS FREE TO EVERYONE, even if you never went to church.

But folks, not all will make it, you see some people only know of Jesus, they really DON'T KNOW Him one on one and that is what it takes. Jesus knows if you are serious, if you have faith or if you are a phony. Some folks need to have assurances that only faith can give them. I mean we pastors can point it out in the Bible, we can tell them what we believe, but each person, one on one, must invite Jesus into their lives. How do you know if you have done that? Folks, often myself and other pastors, gospel singers, TV preachers, have told you where to find the scriptures and give our message to you and then offered up that prayer of salvation, and we all pray that people come forward and confess themselves over to Jesus. The dirty little secret is, none of us really know how many people came to Christ. We can say, thousands came forward, but did they do it in the heat of the moment or because they really wanted Jesus into their lives? And then there is this big thing about repenting from sin. It is easy for a person to raise a hand when the call is made, but the next day, when back at home, and the preacher not looking, do they repent and turn their life around? Let me tell you right now, if you are saved you know what I am talking about for if you are saved, when it happened your life was made different. Gone was the sin and you really want to walk away from it. Gone is the hate for others. You might not like how a person lives but you cannot hate people. I know a man, he dressed up very neat all the time, he is a good work leader, he goes to church on Sundays, and I believe he is even on the usher team... but I heard him yell out already I hate that person and named them, I really hate them, and that statement came from his heart. If you are like that person, brother or sister, that must change, you cannot hate and get into heaven. I am not judging you, as a pastor that is not my job, but as a pastor it is my job for the Lord to lay out the ground rules and help you with them.

Folks, that is why you need a good, and I said a GOOD church where the Pastor preaches and teaches messages that come from God and out of the Bible.

So again so there is no mistake in what I have said today, on this SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT... Salvation is free and comes only from God through Jesus our Lord and Savior who died on the cross for us. You DO NOT need to line up at your church to get a good seat for Salvation, for the salvation does not come from your church, it comes from God through Jesus our Lord. Can I say it again another way... It is a free gift, paid in full by Jesus when He died on the cross for you and for me... for all of us. According to the Bible, no one, no one will get into heaven without going through Jesus and so I want to repeat that verse in the Bible... and here it is again...

John 14:6 - Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on you do know Him and have seen Him. (NIV)

When you pass from this earth you do not need to show up at the gate with a "Discount Card" or a senior citizens card. Just show up, and if you have Jesus in your heart and you have answered the call by Him after you came to Him (more on that later) then you will be admitted. Sadly, some will be turned away.

So forget all those sales, forget all the discount cards, and let's right now pray for that FREE GIFT from GOD, our salvation. Not one of us is really worthy of it, none of us, but Jesus did not mind that fact, in fact He really knew we were not worthy. But once we are saved, then we will be worthy of joining Jesus in Heaven some sweet day, and until then we will need to try our very, very best to repent and follow in the footsteps of Jesus... AMEN.

Dear Father in Heaven, forgive us of our sins this day, and Lord, help us to know that this gift of salvation is free to all, free to all of us, regardless of race, or religion, or anything else. Father, help us to understand the rules that we find in the Bible on how to live a life that is pleasing to You. Lord, now I ask, forgive me of my sins for I am a sinner and help me repent and walk toward You and away from sin. Pick me up when I slip and help my slips to be less and less each minute of each day. I love You, Lord, and I ask that You speak to me and lay out my assignment for each day for I want to walk it with You. In Jesus' name, Amen... And Lord, please, heal my wife...

Go forth now enjoying the season, and know the real meaning of the season... This season is a fun season, it really it, and that makes it all the more fun when you walk it, talk it and live it with Jesus. And please, I know you are blessed, as we all are blessed, so please share those blessings.
Love ya, Pastor Dan.

Thanksgiving Eve. God Still Heals (Day 8)

Then He went and touched the coffin, and those carrying it stood still. He said, "Young man, I say to you, get up!" The dead man sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him back to his mother.

Good Thanksgiving Eve, Salvation Wednesday, Communion online and God is healing you right now Wednesday... Praise God, Vicki has less pain, all honor and glory to God. Praise God, Dolores and I just started this day with communion.

God Still Heals: Let's start today with prayer for God to forgive our sins. Hey, I cannot pray this one for you, this is an I prayer and not a we prayer... This is between you and your savior Jesus.

Dear Father in Heaven, please, please forgive me of my sins, for I am indeed a sinner and needed cleaned before this message today... Thank You Father, for I know I am unworthy of this. Thank You, Jesus, for dying for me on the cross. I love You, Jesus, and I pray in Your name... Amen.

God Still Heals: Luke 7:12 - As He approached the town gate, a dead person was being carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the town was with her. 13 When the Lord saw her, His heart went out to her and He said, "Don't cry." 14 Then He went and touched the coffin, and those carrying it stood still. He said, young man, I say to you, get up!" The dead man sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him back to his mother. (NIV)

Now let's have communion as the next thing we do this day. Today I want to take the scripture from ...

1 Corinthians 11:23/30 - For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you. The Lord Jesus, on the night He was betrayed, took bread. 24 And when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, "This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me." (NIV)

Thank You Jesus for this bread, Your body which is broken for us... Amen. (Now take your bread and remembering the broken body of Jesus eat it... Hmmmmmmmmm.)

I Corinthians 11:23/30 25 - In the same way, after supper He took the cup, saying. "This cup is the new covenant in my blood: do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me." (NIV)

Take now your wine or juice and remember it is the blood of the new covenant, the blood of Jesus which is shed for You. Hmmmmmmmm.

I Corinthians 11:23/30 26 - For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until He comes. 27 Therefore, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord. 28 A man ought to examine himself before he eats of the bread and drinks of the cup. 29 For anyone who eats and drinks without recognizing the body of the Lord eats and drinks judgment on himself. 30 That is why many among you are sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep. (NIV)

Now we are clean (if you ask God to clean you and you did it in faith) and we have had communion, and now let's move on with healing. Tonight I will be anointing with oil for healing at the service at the Bridges and you are welcome. Time is 6.30 PM.

I am going now to James and I know I have used this scripture already this week...

James 5:13 - Is any of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone Happy? Let him sing songs of praise. 14 Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. 16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. (NIV)

As an elder of Carry The Light Ministries, which by the way holds a non-denominational church charter, I wish I could anoint you with oil, but I will pray over you and I am putting a small bit of anointing oil on my index finger so it is there as I type.. Now let me pray for all the healing and remember I CANNOT HEAL YOU, THE HEALING ALL COMES FROM JESUS whom I lift and give the honor and glory.

Dear Father in Heaven, I pray today for healing for all on this line, for all who receive this message and I pray that they are healed of sickness, pain, suffering, heart problems, cancers, kidney problems and all other problems they might have which also might be depression, demons, addictions and any and all things wrong with them today. Make them whole, dear Lord, in the name of Jesus. And, Lord Jesus, all the glory and honor for any and all healings always will go to You. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

In faith, my dear brothers and sisters, go and walk in faith and claim victory on healing... Now I want to go to the Bible and show you just a few more scriptures.

Luke 7:21 - At that very time Jesus cured many who had diseases, sicknesses and evil spirits, and gave sight to many who were blind. 22 So He replied to the messengers. "Go back and report to John what you have seen and heard. The blind received sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor. 23 Blessed is the man who does not fall away on account of me." (NIV)

Now that happened long ago, and yes I believe God still heals and again I have used this scripture often and it fits again here.

Hebrews 13:8 - Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. (NIV)

Now why does Jesus heal some and not others? Let me show you in scriptures...

Romans 8:28 - And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. (NIV)

Some folks will stop after reading just this part... All things God works for Good... they forget the other things... Works for good of those who love Him. And also those who have been called according to His purpose.

And I want to call on the Lord's prayer also for this... and we pray these words faithfully (I hope you are praying faithfully). Hear these words from the Lord's prayer... "Thy will be done".

So, folks, I pray that all of you will be healed, all of you, and I pray that all your parts are healed. I am sure that God will heal some for we have prayed and prayed in faith and I love Jesus... Today as I close I want to do it differently... First, of course, as I do daily I ask you to share your blessings, and folks, we have a lot of them. I have Jesus and so do you... I have a family and friends and two flocks, one at the Bridges and you folks on line with me... and I want to tell you all, all of you, family, friends and flocks I love ya... and now let's pray this together today.

Our Father who art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy name, Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil for Thine is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory Forever... Amen.

November 23, 2010 God Still Heals (Day 7)

Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the Good News of the Kingdom and healing EVERY DISEASE AND SICKNESS among the people.

Good Tuesday Morning, my dear brothers and sisters. It is Thanksgiving week and we have so much to be thankful for, one of which is the healing hand of our Lord Jesus. So today again I just ask that you center your prayers on healing, and folks, I just received word that the very first person that came on this prayer and message line with me is pretty sick. Her name is Lone Wolf, and yes, she is Native American. Please as you pray for her, pray for Vicki (Also Native American) and all other Native Americans on this line.

Before I start the message for today, let me dig into my past as a safety person, who has been to school to teach safe driving, who has been a driver trainer for school bus drivers. I want to just lay a few safety tips on you for this is the most traveled time of the year, Wednesday before Thanksgiving and then Sunday after Thanksgiving. So here are just a few safety tips, some will be very simple...

Check out your vehicle, make sure your lights work, your fluids are good and your tires have the proper air pressure in them. And remember to check the spare tire (no not the one the seat belt goes around, the one in the trunk of the car). On the front tires check for edge wear, and remember the inside of the tire also. CLEAN THE WINDOWS AND MIRRORS. Ok, the car is ready, now are you?

Please get enough rest and please DO NOT DRINK AT ALL AND BE ON THE ROAD DRIVING. And stay off your cell phone, no talking on it, no texting on it, no reading the texts, etc. If you need to call someone, call God, you don't need a phone for Him. Keep a safe following distance, and if someone is tailgating you, do not slam on your brakes, increase the following distance between you and the car in front of you. This will give you a cushion if you are hit, and might keep you from being shoved into the car in front of you. You have turn signals and stop lights, do NOT USE HAND SIGNALS, do you get my drift?

Remember this word... Easy, go easy on the gas, easy on the brakes and easy on the steering. Quick moves can cause you to skid. Remember speed limits are set for ideal conditions, and we don't have them often, slow down for bad weather, slow down for heavy traffic, slow down for me!! Now one last thing... Buckle up, and then PRAY, AND PRAY AND PRAY. And when you reach your destination stop and thank God for the safe trip... AMEN.

God Still Heals: Day 7: Matthew 4:23 - Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the Good News of the Kingdom and healing EVERY DISEASE AND SICKNESS among the people. 24 News about Him spread all over Syria, and people brought to Him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the paralyzed, and He healed them. (NIV)

First, let me remind you that tomorrow we are going to have communion and pray for healing. Now let's look at the scripture for today. First, please note that Jesus was teaching and preaching the Good News. Please remember this command from Jesus, from Mark 16:15 - He (Jesus) said to them, (His disciples and we are the disciples of today) "Go into all the world and preach the GOOD NEWS, to all creation." (NIV) I just love the fact that when Jesus commands us to do something, He has already shown us by example. Moving on...

Jesus was not just preaching the good news of the Kingdom; He was Healing all people from every disease and sickness. It makes no difference to Jesus your color or if you are like Lone Wolf, a Native American (American Indian) or if you are a person of color, and I mean any color. As we learned in Bible school and it is from the Bible, Red, Yellow, Black and White, they are all loved by Jesus. And now with so many marriages between families of different colors Jesus loves all shades of the colors. He even loves those who hate Him. And He heals all people and on Wednesday when I preach this message I am going to tell those seniors at the Bridges that age does not make a difference to Jesus. He will heal you if you are a hundred plus or if you were born yesterday. Folks, the Bible also tells us He heals all the diseases and sickness and listen to this, listen real close, to my wife Dolores and to Vicki and others... HE WILL HEAL THOSE SUFFERING SEVERE PAIN. Folks, there is not one of you out there that God cannot heal, you need to pray and have faith.

Dear Father in Heaven, I love You very, very much, and I thank You for the messages in healing and messages on other subjects also. Please. dear Lord. heal Your people, Heal Your people. dear Lord. Heal pain, heal suffering, heal folks, dear Lord, from addictions, and Lord, most of all, heal us from our own sins and self destructions. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Now go forth praying for healing and sharing your blessings. And please come back tomorrow for communion and for prayers for healing and please have faith and please EXPECT TO BE HEALED... I believe it, it is in the Bible... Love ya, Pastor Dan.

November 22, 2010 God Still Heals. (Day 6)

Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. Is anyone of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; The Lord will rise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.

Good Morning, my dear brothers and sisters, and welcome to Thanksgiving week. Again this week we are going to talking about healing and on Wednesday we are going to have "On line communion". Also I need to put out a call for help. We will need about a dozen people to help pack food on Saturday December 4th starting about 1.30 PM and then again on December 18th, also in the afternoon to help load cars. Let's get back to healing and this week I am asking that you turn your prayers this way, first for all our blessings, for all God gives us, and then for healing, for yourself and for others... Healing of sin, healing of illness, and healing of hurts from broken homes, and hearts, etc. God can and will heal it all if you have faith.

God Still Heals (Day 6): James 5:13 - Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. 14 Is anyone of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; The Lord will rise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. 16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. (NIV)

Church was great yesterday and God anointed me to preach the truth about healing, and folks, God does still heal. I want to invite all of you to church this Wednesday evening at 6.30 at The Bridges where we will serve Communion and anoint for healing. Folks, let's look over this scripture for today.

Is any one of you in trouble? Let me ask you this, is any of you NOT in trouble? All of us have troubles, have problems, we just cannot escape it here on earth. Some are out of work and have been for a long time, others find the rising cost of gasoline for the car, and the food bills going up and that electric bill just keeps growing. So what is the answer? It is right here in the Bible. It tells us, "We should pray." Is anyone happy? I am for one, even with the troubles of these days I am happy, why, because I have Jesus and when all else fails, Jesus does not. And what does it tell us to do? Sing songs of praise. Let's do that right now... Just this little chorus -- O come let us adore Him, O come let us adore Him, O come let us adore Him, Christ The Lord.

We'll Praise His Name forever. We'll Praise His Name forever. We'll Praise His Name forever, Christ The Lord... We'll give Him all the Glory, We'll give Him all the Glory, We'll give Him all the Glory, Christ The Lord. For He alone is worthy, For He alone is worthy, For He alone is worthy, Christ The Lord.

Back to the scripture... Is any of you sick? I know I have my share of pain, but folks, I must tell you this, none of my pain would equal what Jesus carried and carries for me. But still we are weak and He is strong and what does the Bible tell us to do? He should call the elders of the church to pray for them and anoint them with oil. AND PRAY IN FAITH, BECAUSE IT IS THE FAITH THAT WE NEED TO MAKE US WELL. And it tells us this... The Lord will raise him up. Let's go over the scripture together one more time...

Dear Father in Heaven, in the name of our Lord Jesus, please heal all those right now who are praying to be healed, Lord, please heal my dear wife, and yes, touch me also. Please, Lord, heal those on the line, on this prayer line, touch them right now I ask in the name of Jesus. Ali needs Your touch on her eyes, and Patsy needs Your touch in the Hospital. The truth is Lord, we all need Your healing hand. So please, dear Lord, heal us in the name of Jesus... Amen.

Please go forth sharing your blessings and remember we need some help putting together food for the hungry... Love ya, Pastor Dan.

November 19, 2010 God Still Heals (Day 5)

"Lord" he said, "my servant lies at home paralyzed and in terrible suffering." Jesus said to him, "I will go and heal him."

Good Friday Morning, my dear brothers and sisters. It is Friday and we are continuing our series on "God Still Heals". Today we pray for all those who work for God in the fields of Harvest and would also like you to center your prayers on all those who have trouble taking in the fresh air that God gives us. You see so many people carrying a small oxygen bottle to help them. I have a dear friend who carries that bottle and I ask that you pray for "Oliver Ogden" by name. We also have many people at the Bridges on oxygen. It would be wonderful if God would just let all those folks take in that deep wonderful air that He provides us. So folks, pray in faith... Also pray for Jeff Waybright who has just had a knee replaced. Jeff is a farmer and does not like being kept down. His family farm, listen to this, his family farm milks over 2,600 head of cows three times a day, and runs all the farm and farm houses with electric from the cow stuff. (Cleaned that up nice, didn't I?)

God Still Heals: (Day 5): Matthew 8:6 - "Lord" he said, "my servant lies at home paralyzed and in terrible suffering." 7 Jesus said to him, "I will go and heal him." 13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, "Go! It will be done just as you believe it would." And his servant was healed at that very hour. (NIV)

Now once again I say God still heals and once again I am going to remind you of this scripture... We see how God healed this servant back in the days when Jesus walked this earth and here is why I just know He still heals today.

Hebrews 13:8 - Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. (NIV)

Please do not get tired of me using this scripture, for I think it so important for everyone to know that our Lord Jesus is the same. People have changed, nations have changed, even weather patterns have changed; however, our Lord Jesus has not. And again, and I pray you are the same way, you believe as I, everything in the Bible. I do not pick and choose what I believe from the Bible; I believe it all! If you pick and choose, then why believe any of it? I have faith, do you have it today, I believe God still heals, do you? And I believe that there have been times in our lives, meaning your life and mine, that God has healed us before we knew we were sick or hurt, because He protected us from that cold, or flu, or broken bone when we fall. He kept us from being hit by cars that ran red lights, or protected us when we ran the light. He even does those things such as watching over us while we sleep.

Let me now go back to the Bible and show you some more places where God has healed people and also this, where Jesus gave the power of Healing to His disciples. So folks, when you see pastors laying hands on people, and praying for them, and anointing them with oil IN THE NAME OF JESUS, please don't laugh. When you see Benny Hinn on television don't laugh, just trust and believe. Here it is from the Bible.

Matthew 10:1 - He called His twelve disciples to Him and gave them the authority to drive out evil spirits and to heal every disease and sickness. (NIV)

Matthew 10:5 - These twelve Jesus sent out with the following instructions; "Do not go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans. 6 Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel." 7 As you go, preach this message: 'The Kingdom of heaven is near.' 8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. 9 Do not take along any gold or silver or copper in your belts, 10 Take no bag for the journey, or extra tunic, or sandals or a staff, for the worker is worth his keep. (NIV)

God pointed out to me one major thing with theses scriptures, and that being this, as Jesus gave the power of healing to His disciples and remember we are His disciples of today... Jesus sent His disciples to find the lost sheep of Israel. In Mark 16:15 we are told to take the good news, which is in part telling folks the Kingdom of Heaven is Near. We are also told to tell of the saving grace of our Lord Jesus. God is pointing out to me that salvation is still the most important part of healing. If you are healed from the flu, or from a broken back, or pain in your body, if you are healed from cancer, or heart problems, and all those other things but have not been healed from your sins because you have not accepted Jesus as your personal savior, I ask this... What good is it? I think God wanted the disciples to line up the priorities and that would be the healing of the soul first. Anyone in agreement today, then say Amen.

I am thinking that I will write tomorrow as I build for my message on Sunday and then for a healing service at the Bridges on Wednesday Evening. And you are welcome of course. Come and let God heal you. Let's pray.

Dear Father in Heaven, we do believe that You are the same and we look for healing and we have faith it will happen. Lead us to the unsaved so we can tell them about the Kingdom of Heaven coming soon. Lord, heal those today who are sick, heal knees and other bones that are broken or just plain hurt. Heal cancers and other diseases, and Lord, most of all, heal souls. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Now go forth praying for healing and sharing your blessings... Love ya, Pastor Dan.

November 18, 2010 God Still Heals (Day 5)

The Lord will strike Egypt with a plague; He will strike them and heal them. They will turn to the Lord, and He will respond to their pleas and heal them.

Good Thursday Morning, my dear brothers and sisters. It is Thursday and the day we pray for our schools and all who have anything to do with them and also pray for all families, and please, include the family of God. Pray for Pastors and their flocks, and pray that those pastors are preaching the complete truth. I say this because so many are not, so many are saying it is ok to abort the unborn, it is ok for a man to marry and man and it is ok for a woman to marry a woman. Folks, it is a sin to do these things and it is very clear in the Bible. I ask prayers for the pastors because they are responsible before God for their flocks that He assigned them. Just as a shepherd is responsible for the sheep, a pastor is responsible that his flock is not hurt, or let to die.

God Still Heals: (Day 4): Isaiah 19:22 - The Lord will strike Egypt with a plague; He will strike them and heal them. They will turn to the Lord, and He will respond to their pleas and heal them. (NIV)

God pointed this scripture out to me this morning and I really needed to talk to Him about it. What I am understanding out of it, is the Lord caused the plague and it struck down people, they got sick and when down with the plague, then they humbled themselves and came to God and then God healed them. Ok, now I want to use myself as an example, and maybe something like this happened to you... I was a lost son, raised by Christian parents who loved God, and yes, I loved Him also, I knew what Jesus did for us, but did not really invite Him into my heart. I lost a marriage and most of it was my fault. I got married again and I thought things were great, a good business, good work, a farm, then moved back to the area and sold the farm. Then went home one evening after work to find the house empty, it was cleaned out, wife and all, gone. Second marriage failed, and I went into deep depression, I got so low that there was only one thing left to do... I CRIED OUT FOR GOD, and God answered and turned my life around, in other words He healed me from this problem. When I look back I am thinking it might have been the best healing I have had because it was my salvation healing. I remember talking with a nun one time at the gas pumps of my service station. I am not Catholic but this nun took me under her wing, she knew what had happened to me and prayed with me weekly. She showed me that God wanted into my life and I really needed Him and that when I would turn to Him, He would have something much better for me. And she was right, first I turned to God, I put my full trust in Him, before I was putting my full trust in evil things, not really all that bad, not things to go to jail for, but I was just not walking with Jesus. But Jesus healed me, He really did, and first He used this wonderful nun, and then one of my customers talked to me about church and she got me back in church. God worked on me as I could handle it and do you know He is still working on me, He is still building on me.

Folks, this scripture tells me that God lets things happen for a reason and even causes things to happen. He could have stopped the hit on 9/11/2001 but He did not, He could have stopped the storm that was named Katrina and all the other storms but He did not and does not. In fact God is still in control of the weather and all things. So why does God let these things happen? Why did the Lord cause a plague and strike down the people only to heal them?

So they would humble themselves just like I did and come to Him and then He healed them.

One more scripture today, and this important... How are we healed, how does God heal us, listen up here. Hang on, it is a long scripture...

Isaiah 53:3 - He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering. Like one from whom men hide their faces He was despised, and we esteemed Him not. 4 Surely He took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows yet we considered Him stricken by God, smitten by Him and afflicted. 5 But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him and by His wounds we are healed. 6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray. each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. (NIV)

Brothers and sisters, get your Bible out and read Isaiah 53, all of it and read it and read it until you understand that it was the beating that Jesus took, the spitting on Him, and all He went through for us is what heals us. We were healed by the blood of Jesus that came from the wounds of the beatings. His blood heals us, and folks, I truly believe that we must be healed first from our sins to be healed from our other troubles and illnesses.

I truly believe that God had a better life for me and He humbled me, and then sent people to lead me back, a nun, a lady customer from a church in the city of Harrisburg, a few others and then Dolores, who at one time worked for the Gospel singing group The Couriers, and God hooked me up with Doug Boyer and the Brotherhood and guys like Tim Beitzel, and Duane Nicholson and Neil and Phil Enloe came into my life. Then Pastor Larry Hale and I hired a bus driver who is a pastor, Pastor Kevin Brown, all had a bearing on my life as I grew in Christ. The late Pastor Karen Layman, Pastor Rick Denison, each shaped me more. A singing and ministry partner who walks on faith over and over again, who is healed from cancer, has helped shape me... and folks we never, we never, hear me on this, we never ever stop growing in Christ. Each day He opens more to me, for if He gave it to me all at once I would fall and fail. He is healing me, one wound at a time, so to speak. There were others involved, the one who encouraged me to write these messages, a Native American lady called Lone Wolf, told me to work with the messages...

Brothers and sisters, open up to God, tell Him all your troubles, all your hurts and all of your problems, lay it on Him, God can handle it, it is we who can't. Lay it out, if you are at the bottom cry out and let Him know... LORD I NEED YOU NOW... I need healed, Lord, I need Healed, and I want to come to You full time and not fool time. Pray a prayer like that and then go to God and stay with Him. And let's just use that as a prayer today...

Dear Father we need You, heal us please in the name of Jesus, all that is wrong for us, we caused you to be beaten, and we are sorry but we need You... heal us in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Now go forth sharing your blessings, and sharing your love of Jesus with others and have faith that He will heal you and it will be by His stripes you will be healed, as I was... Love ya, Pastor Dan.

November 17, 2010 God Still Heals (Day 5)

This is what the Lord says: "I have healed this water. Never again will it cause death or make the land underproductive. And the water has remained wholesome to this day according to the word Elisha had spoken.

Good Morning, my dear brothers and sisters, we had a stormy night, it sounded like a summer night, with the thunder banging, and the rains coming down hard. Thank You, Lord, for stocking up my well with your fresh water and thanks for filling those wells and the river in Newport, Pa., where years ago they would just run out of water. God is good. Now pray the water pipes get cleaned out in that town. Maybe they need salt in them. (You will understand that later today.) Yesterday afternoon I went to a new doctor (for me) for my knees. The doctor first drained one knee that was full of fluid and then were injected with Synvisc-One. I was warned this might hurt. Well when after feeling what was like a pinch I asked if that was something to numb the leg, and he said, no, that he was done. Then the same on the other leg. I hope this works so we will pray it will, otherwise I will need two new knees. I am counting on God to restore them. One doctor told me the cartilage was all gone and that will not come back. Hey, if God made it in the first place He can for sure replace it... AMEN.

Today is Salvation Wednesday and we must keep praying for the unsaved and to work the fields of Harvest for our Lord Jesus. Let's face it, folks, the best healing we can have is to have our soul healed. So pray for the unsaved and for God to use us to help bring in the lost...

God Still Heals: (Day 3): 2 Kings 2:19 - The men of the city said to Elisha, "Look, our lord, this town is well situated, as you can see, but the water is bad and the land is unproductive." 20 "Bring me a new bowl," he said, "and put salt in it." So they brought it to him. 21 Then he went out to the spring and threw the salt into it saying, "This is what the Lord says: 'I have healed this water. Never again will it cause death or make the land underproductive.'" And the water has remained wholesome to this day according to the word Elisha had spoken. (NIV)

This scripture today like the one yesterday shows us that God does not just heal people but yesterday we saw He will heal the land of those who humble to Him. Today we see Him healing the well with salt. Notice something about that and today. We are on a well and we have our own water, but it was not pure and it was hard, so we put in a "water softener" and what do they use to clear the water... Salt. Brothers and sisters, I am telling you that if we all would take our Bibles and read them and follow them we would soon find out that we have the very best instruction book you could get and it teaches us all we need to know about living and getting along with others. All we need to know about healing, healing water and land and healing of our own bodies. Here we find Elisha being obedient to our Lord and following The Lord's instructions to heal a well.

I now want to go to Psalm 107 and look at a few verses. This will show us that even those who have addictions, brought on by their own selves, that God will heal them and bring them back from the gates of death.

Psalm 107:13 - Then they cried to the Lord in trouble, and He saved them from their distress. 14 He brought them out of darkness and the deepest gloom and broke away their chains. 15 Let them give thanks to the Lord for His unfailing love, and His wonderful deed for men. 15 For He breaks down gates of bronze and cuts through bars of iron. 17 Some became fools through their rebellious ways and suffered affliction because of their iniquities. 18 They loathed all the food and drew near the gates of death. 19 Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and He saved them from their distress. 20 He sent forth His word and healed them. (NIV)

When I look at this scripture I think about our one son. Yes, as in many families we have one who got mixed up with drugs and booze, and even though he loves the Lord and is Born Again, he would just turn away from God and go back under the power of Satan's junk food. (My term for drugs and booze, Satan's junk food.) There were many times that our son would be down and cry out for help and God would help him or send him help. Often he was healed for a while and then went back to Satan's Junk Food. Then he was at the bottom, down where he was put out of his last apartment with no place to go but under a bridge in a box. We helped him before and over and over again, this time we needed to let God do it all. God, who never left his side, picked him up and found him a mission to live at. A good one out in the country where it is not as easy to get to Satan's junk food. It has been nearly a year and he is doing good. He might get a chance to go on staff at the mission. It is so sad that we let ourselves get to the bottom and go there more than once, but God will heal, and folks, our son was brought up in the way of the Lord and there is a promise, that if we raise our kids in the way of the Lord and they drift, they will come back. I am an example of that... I am what one would call a "lost son" as shown in the Bible.

So today, let's go to prayer and pray for all those, and I would think there are some on this line, pray for those who fight Satan's Junk food or other addictions. Also we need to pray for those living in homes where someone is fighting that sickness, for often those folks suffer abuse, either verbal or even being beaten around.

Dear Father in heaven, first today we want to pray for the Lost and ask that You use us to bring them to Your feet to be saved. Lord, we also ask today that You help those with addictions and that You get them off the junk and get them back to living for you. Lord, we want to help you with that also so show us how to help... even when it is in our families sometimes we try and help and fail and then there are times when we must show tough love to them. Guide us, Lord, and heal them from the addictions And Lord, again I ask that You heal my wife, she has so much pain, Lord, and she wants to push forward with and for you. She needs You, Lord. Thanks for the work on my knees and thanks for the water for our wells and rivers. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Now go forth, never ever giving up on God's healing hand... If you have something wrong, keep praying and we will keep moving forward with the lessons on healing. And remember this... share your blessings for sure you are blessed. Love ya, Pastor Dan.

November 16, 2010 God Still Heals (Day 2)

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Praise God, Praise God, Praise God... Josephine Strawser made it though her surgery and is home resting comfortably. The doctors removed her uterus that had a large cancer tumor in it. Looking ahead to some radiation, but not much because of her young age of 80. (Report from Rob Campbell from Newport Pa.)

Good Morning, my dear brothers and sisters, and it is a good morning, a nice rain falling here at the Southern Location of the North Pole, and folks, we do not need to shovel rain. Please remember that when driving over 50 MPH on wet roads your tires are running on top of the water and not touching the road. SLOW DOWN! That was your safety tip for today. Tuesday is the day we pray for God to either do away with all diseases or loan men and women the talent to find that cure. So pray for the cure to be found for Cancer, Heart Problems, loss of memory, Kidney failure, and I could go on and on.

God Still Heals (Day 2): 2 Chronicles 2:14 - If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. (NIV)

First I want to thank God for taking care of Josephine, and thank Rob for sending the follow up report. So often we do not hear back after praying for people to be healed and we really should, always, take time to Praise The Lord for everything we have prayed for. And this report comes at a perfect time for me. I really mean this, as I write about healing this week and some of next and will be preaching/teaching on it on Sunday morning and Wednesday evening at the Bridges it gives me more encouragement that God Still Heals regardless of age. I was asked some time back, do you really pray for healing at The Bridges? The person thought that maybe God does not work on seniors, and folks, that is far from the truth. God heals, even our seniors, so folks, if you have senior parents, pray for them, keep them lifted in prayer. When I anoint seniors at the Bridges and some at senior homes where we sing, I do it in faith that God will heal them. I cannot find anyplace in the Bible where it tells us that we should not pray for our senior citizens, I find no place where God tells me not to pray for those folks are toast. In fact I truly believe that is why Carry The Light Ministries was sent into retirement and nursing homes to give the word. Maybe a last chance for people to hear the complete truth, and folks, part of the complete truth is GOD STILL HEALS AND GOD STILL LOVES TO HEAL SENIORS. And in fact God has blessed many seniors with children at the ripe age of 100 and some a whole lot older. So for the aging readers on this line... GOD LOVES YOU AND HAVE FAITH GOD WILL HEAL YOU, and please note I did not say have faith God might heal you, I said have faith GOD WILL HEAL YOU. Don't you ever give up and don't ever stop praying. Please remember our lesson from yesterday. Go back and review it...

Now let's look at some scripture for today, and brothers and sisters, I love this scripture.

2 Chronicles 2:14 - If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. (NIV)

Does are land need healed? Does the United States of America need healed? Do we need forgiven? Folks, I invite you right now to pick up another book other than your Bible, I invite you to pick up your phone book and go to the yellow pages and go to the A's and look at what is the very first thing in your Phone Book... ABORTION! It is bad enough that we have doctors (if you call them that) that want to kill babies, they advertise it in the papers and phone book. On their big fancy cars they should have those name plates that say "I KILL" or something like that. It makes me sick to my stomach when I see ads for killing. Call Doctor Hit Man and his nurse, nursey kills. Folks, our land needs healed, and folks, we find it in the Bible that God will not just heal us but He will also heal our country, but folks, as like us, if we want to be healed we need to repent, and the very first place to start in my opinion would be to stop killing off our kids. Our NATION NEEDS TO REPENT. All of us today, please pray for abortion to be stopped... Not slowed down but stopped.

Now let me move on with some other scriptures on Healing...

Psalm 41:4 - "O Lord, have mercy on me; heal me, for I have sinned against you." (NIV)

Here we once again see how important it is to ask God to heal us from our sins. I want to ask you this question, have you ever done something wrong, a sin, that has haunted you, it would keep you laying awake at night or have you looking over your shoulder in the daytime. I am not talking about crime but it could be that, I never did that. But other things, you might have done, and I am talking sins against our Lord God. You get that guilt trip and I think there is no one better than God to put me on a guilt trip. I don't know if He does it on purpose, but I would think so. He loves us so much and wants us to come to Him to be forgiven that He "hangs a guilt trip on us when we sin." Did you ever have that happen to you? It might have been something like this... You are out on the road, you are doing your best walking in the light of Jesus, you might have a "fish emblem" on the back of your car or an "I love Jesus" bumper sticker. Then it happens, someone cuts you off, and your old ways come back, you push the gas petal down and pull up beside this guy and you, and you "pop him the bird." You pull back all those fingers except that one in the middle and you let him have it. Or you shake your fist at him and mouth out those two words, the first one being the "F" word and the last one spelled "you" Not only did we sin against God, then we pulled ahead and this road rager got to see your bumper sticker and now Jesus gets a bad name along with all other Christians. Yes, it is hard when someone cuts you off to keep your cool, but folks, that is the time to pray and pray right away. Folks, it is easy to get caught up in the moment, the moment of anger, so we need to turn to God to be healed, healed from the anger that might just happen once in a while, but nevertheless, healed from it. So remember this Psalm and maybe you could use it in your prayers... let's pray it together right now. Just these short words for our short temper today.

"O Lord, have mercy on me; heal me, for I have sinned against you."

Let's do one more scripture today...

Jeremiah 17:14 - Heal me, O Lord and I will be healed; Save me and I will be saved for you are the one I praise. (NIV)

Here we find Jeremiah asking God to heal him and saying that if God heals him, he really will be healed. Brothers and sisters, what God is pointing out to me is this, God does work through the hands of doctors and others, but until you have the healing of God, you are not completely healed. Doctors, nurses and others in the medical field cannot now, nor could they ever heal you completely. If they work through God, those same doctors will give God the glory, they will not keep it for themselves. We need to be the same way. Yesterday I anointed my doctor with oil and prayed for him, then he injected my knee, and I go today to another doctor who is going to inject it again with some other kind of stuff. I am praying that through these doctors hands, God will heal my knees.

And folks, just a short review from last week. Here Jeremiah tells God, save me and I will be saved. Folks, Jesus is the one and only way to heaven, and the one and only one who can save us.. We studied it all last week... and God is the only one to praise. If you are going to a good church with a good pastor you will find lots of messages on salvation and you will find that Pastor always gives the glory to God for all things. If your pastor is not giving the praise to God, and is not preaching 100% from the word of God in the Bible... FIND ANOTHER CHURCH! And the pastors on this line will say this... AMEN. Your pastors can anoint you in oil, and I am doing that at the Bridges next Wednesday evening and you are invited. And God will get all the glory, all of it... none for me, none for Dolores who will be at the piano, none for Pam who will be helping me at the service. God will get all the glory... Let's give Him some of it right now as we close up for today.

Praise You, Jesus, praise You, and thank You for being a wonderful, perfect God who loves us enough to be put to death on the cross for us. Who will heal us today in Your time according to Your will and we praise You for that... I Love You Lord, I love You very, very much. Thank You and praise You for the message today, and Lord, we ask You, we ask You to stop this thing called abortion that I call murder of Your children. Lord, if needed, strike down all those who want to kill those unborn babies. Lord, we cannot strike them down but we know You can, and Lord, I have never prayed for anything like this in my life, but Lord this abortion, this murder needs to stop. Lord, help us get it done, or just end it on Your own. Strike those doctors down, humble them to their knees and let them come to You to be saved. Strike them down and give them time to come to You. By striking them down Lord, I am not asking You to kill them, no, because I am also a sinner saved only by your grace, and I know years ago You humbled me. So Lord, please strike them down and bring them to You, and You may use me to help, just tell me how... In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.

Now go forth enjoying being saved, enjoying being a Christian, and sharing your blessings, and remember do not get so upset you forget you are a servant of God. Keep that finger in place.
Amen... Love ya, Pastor Dan.

November 15, 2010 God Still Heals (Day 1)

In those days Hezekiah became ill and was at the point of death. The prophet Isaiah son of Amoz went to him and said, "This is what the Lord says: 'Put your house in order, because you are going to die; you will not recover. Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord, "remember, O Lord, how I have walked before you faithfully and with whole hearted devotion and have done what is good in your eyes." And Hezekiah wept bitterly. Before Isaiah had left the middle court, the word of the Lord came to him: Go back and tell Hezekiah, the leader of my people, 'This is what the Lord, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you.'"

Good Morning, my dear brothers and sisters, it is a beautiful day here at the Southern Location of the North Pole and old Santa and Mrs. Claus are in full running gear. Booked everyday but Mondays at Allenberry Playhouse and Resort Inn. I also went to the Antique Automobile Club of America Museum in Hershey Pa. (161 Museum Drive Hershey Pa. 17033) where I emptied the pickup truck for the first time this year. We have been gifted a lot of food, and a lot of toys including about 200 homemade wooden toys and they are beautiful. God is good. In the meantime we are building our Christmas list of those needing food. While this is a special day of giving the food, and very rewarding, we do have families coming weekly now.

I have prayed to God about writing and teaching on Healing. So God has answered the prayers and I will be writing this week and next right up to Thanksgiving Eve. I will be preaching on healing next Sunday at the Bridges and then on Thanksgiving Eve a service of communion, and anointing for healing. Remember on Mondays we pray for our leaders and our military and all those who work to keep us safe and healthy. With the service of healing coming I am asking if you would center your prayers on these two young men who have Cerebral Palsy.

Michael Miller is 41 and the son of Dennis and Donna Funk, Michael has Cerebral Palsy.

Patrick Herman is 20 and the son of Rick and Michele Herman. Patrick has Cerebral Palsy and also Scoliosis. Patrick is facing back surgery with rods to be put in. This surgery will be done at the DuPont Children's Hospital.

Also as we pray for our veterans please remember that we have veterans coming home from war who have very serious injuries, who have lost limbs, and some who just might be in veterans hospitals all their life. Please remember we are a Nation at War.

God Still Heals: (Day One) - 2 Kings 20:1 - In those days Hezekiah became ill and was at the point of death. The prophet Isaiah son of Amoz went to him and said, "This is what the Lord says: 'Put your house in order, because you are going to die; you will not recover. 2 Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord, 3 "remember, O Lord, how I have walked before you faithfully and with whole hearted devotion and have done what is good in your eyes." And Hezekiah wept bitterly. 4 Before Isaiah had left the middle court, the word of the Lord came to him: 5 Go back and tell Hezekiah, the leader of my people, 'This is what the Lord, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you.'" On the third day from now you will go up to the temple of of the Lord. 6 I will add fifteen years to your life. (NIV)

Psalm 6:1 - O Lord, do not rebuke me in your anger or discipline me in your wrath. 2 Be merciful to me, Lord, for I am faint. O Lord, heal me for my bones are in agony. 3 My soul is in anguish, How long, O lord, how long? (NIV)

Dear brothers and sisters, over the next few days I will talk about healing and I will point out to you where I find this in the Bible. As you know, I believe all that is in the Bible, from the very beginning to the very end of this wonderful book of books. We will look in the old testament as we are today and we will walk with Jesus as He heals and we will look at the scriptures where He gives us instructions on praying for healing and who should pray with us. There are still people today that believe that the Bible was for then and this is now. Not so, folks and this scripture, which I use often, will point it right out to you...

Hebrews 13:8 - Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. (NIV)

Yes, and that should be a comfort to all of you for indeed our Lord healed when He walked the earth and I am sure, 100% sure, He is still in the healing business today. We must have faith, and we must pray that it is God's will. Now let's dig into those scriptures that I wrote out for you.
We see in the first part of the scripture that Hezekiah became ill and was at the point of death. The prophet Isaiah, son of Amoz, went to him and said, "This is what the Lord says: 'Put your house in order, because you are going to die.'" It seems that the prophet Isaiah was sort of like the middle man between God and Hezekiah. Isaiah was given the word that Hezekiah was going to pass. God gave a warning, get your place in order, get your things together.

About a year or so ago I received a call from a gentlemen whose wife resides at The Bridges in the Garden section. This is a dementia unit and a really good one I might add. Anyway the husband called me and said his wife was given just a few days to live and he and his daughters wanted to talk to me about doing the service. A funeral director was contacted. I went to The Bridges and bedside with the family. I anointed this wonderful lady with oil and was starting to pray for her, and to release her to God as the family requested I do. First please note that we are in God's hands, but releasing them is a term I use so a family can get ready for this. Anyway, I anointed her in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and leaned down real near her and could hear this faint singing. She was singing Amazing Grace just as clear as clear could be, word for word. I prayed and prayed and then sang with her. Over and over again she sang. Amazing Grace how sweet the sound, and as I asked God to heal her I could hear Him speak to my heart. I am not done with her on earth yet. So when done praying I turned to the family and told them this. I believe God is not done with her here on earth, He is not ready for her yet in heaven. Each week this lady sits in the front row in church, with her husband holding her hand, it is so dear and wonderful. Just before she had turned ill and they thought she was going home I did a remarriage service and they got re-married. Now as she sits in the front row she is singing right with me. She does not say a lot and if she shakes your hand and says good morning that is a blessing. A few weeks ago I was in the back of church before it started greeting some people, Dolores was playing the piano and she stood up (she is in a wheel chair most of the time), turned around and was singing like she was leading the song Dolores was playing. Folks, I feel God is even working on her memory. Folks, God is good, and God still heals, please never give up. I will tell you other examples of healing this week, both from the Bible and also from some that we have prayed for on this line. GOD CAN HEAL YOU, OR YOUR FAMILY OR BOTH, HE CAN TAKE AWAY YOUR SINS AND THAT IS A GOOD STARTING PLACE. Heal your heart first... I don't know why God heals one and not the other but will someday find that out. If we go back to the scripture and look at it some more we find this...

Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord, "remember, O Lord, how I have walked before you faithfully and with whole hearted devotion and have done what is good in your eyes." And Hezekiah wept bitterly. We see in this scripture that Hezekiah turned to the wall and prayed to the Lord, I would think just burying his face in the wall and talking to God... and Hezekiah reminded God that he was a good guy, he lived for God. He told God he was faithful and devoted to God and had done what was good in the eyes of the Lord. And he wept bitterly.

Have you ever laid it out to God in prayer? Have you lived for God? Can you remind God of your good living or are you one who always needs those prayers for forgiveness of your sins? Brothers and sisters, we do need to repent, I believe that is a good way to start when we are asking for healing. So let's take a minute right now and pray to be forgiven.. I cannot pray it for you, so in faith will you please pray with me...

Dear Father in Heaven, please forgive me of my sins, and Lord, help me repent. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

Dear Lord, now I ask and all on the line ask that You please heal, please please heal those young men with Cerebral Palsy and touch them. Straighten out the spine of Patrick who needs the surgery to pull him straight. Anoint the doctors, dear Lord, or heal Patrick before the doctors can get to him. Lord, please, please heal our wounded warriors, those coming home from wars with many injuries, and Lord, I cry out for healing for my dear wife as her spine is also twisted with Scoliosis as is Patrick's. Lord, thanks for healing Peggy Everhard, the lady at The Bridges and thanks for the support she gets from her husband, Bob, and Lord, thanks for the inspiration that comes to me from you, through her... Again we direct our prayers through our Lord Jesus, who is the only way to the Father... Amen.

Yes, folks, pray through Jesus for He is the only way to The Father (John 14:6). And go forth now walking in faith that God will hear all your prayers and remember this, God heals many times in our lives when we are protected from getting sick. God heals us in advance. Amen.

Now go forth sharing those blessings. Love ya, Pastor Dan.

November 12, 2010 Salvation Week (Day 5)

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works so that no one can boast.

Good Morning, my dear "born Again" brothers and sisters, and I do pray that by now all of you have been saved by the grace of God. Today we find out what we must do next. There are a few prayer requests today. Last night in Adams county a game warden was shot to death in the fields. Please pray that the one who shot him/her that they will be caught. Please pray for the family. No other details are in at this point. Please pray for Norma, mother of Jim Orner, who was rushed to the hospital yesterday thinking she had a stroke. Found out it was wrong medication that caused her blood sugars to drop. Prayers also for Patsy. Today we also pray for those working the fields of Harvest for our Lord Jesus. And working for Jesus after we are saved is our subject for today as we wrap up Salvation Week.

Salvation Week (Day 5): Ephesians 2:8/10 - For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, 9 not by works so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. (NIV)

James 2:14 - What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? 15 Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes or daily food. 16 If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? 17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action is dead. (NIV)

My dear brothers and sisters, I pray you are saved and now we see that it is by the grace of God, a gift for us from God. Now folks, we need to learn this... All gifts need both a giver and a receiver. You go shopping for a dear friend or a family member and you really really like this person so you want to get something special for them... You shop till you drop and you find this really nice thing and you wrap it all up and you give it to this friend... Now the friend looks at it and you can tell by their face they could care less, maybe not even saying thank you. The receiver did not want the gift and maybe even tossed it in the trash after you left. I am sure you would feel bad, maybe you forgot something in the house where you gave the gift or a diner or someplace and you go back in to see this gift you saved for and spent your time laying in the trash. You are hurt, you are really hurt.

We hit some of this with our mission to help others. Last year we were requested to go to a big boys and girls club in Harrisburg, Pa., and help with food and gifts for over fifty families. We, along with a lot of help from others, gathered more and more food and kids at Saint Joseph School in Mechanicsburg, gathered food and families gathered gifts. We loaded a bus with a lot of hard workers and went and gave it out. Some families did say thanks, most kids had to be asked, did you say thanks for the toys, and while some said thank you, most did not, but said they did. Some families never showed up for the food, which we even left for them with the staff at the place we went. And the ones who asked us to go, have never said even thank you. Yes, we did this for God, and yes, it still hurts when you do it and it seems to be just taken for granted.

So now I wonder, how does our Lord Jesus feel after going to the cross for us and so many, so many spitting on Him, or throwing things at Him or beating on Him... oh, and not just the day while He was on the cross but still today. Jesus gave us a gift, a gift of life, His life, and over the years how many have hurt Him by cursing Him or using His name to curse others? Remember, Jesus was human, He had feelings. He died for us, He gave it all up for us and some turned and walked away from the gift. Others of us, and I am one of these, walked away for a while and have come back. Brothers and sisters, this is called the "Gift of Salvation" for it is indeed a gift, paid in full by our Lord Jesus. Paid in full, 100%, and just waiting for you to take the gift. I again pray that you all did that yesterday and now just a few things we must do to secure this gift... God needs to know we accept it in faith, and our faith is shown to Him by helping others.

In our scriptures today we find out that it is indeed a gift. In Ephesians we see about how it is a gift and how God planned it in advance for us. Let's look at it again...

Ephesians 2:8/10 - For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, 9 not by works so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. (NIV)

We see that it is the gift of God and we also see that after we are saved He has prepared things in advance for us to do... Do we pray for the assignment and then listen to God to give an assignment to us? We might be like my friend Tim, who gave his life to God when a child and found that His assignments over the years have changed. From being one of the best baritone singers in the world (my opinion and a lot of others also) to being called to preach. If you were just saved, just came to God, you need to pray and listen for God will give you an assignment. Your assignment could be about anything, and it could be something you already had been doing... But you might have been doing it before for your own satisfaction but now you are doing it for God, meaning you are going to be more satisfied. Now why must we work if the gift was free? Well, folks, that is what God wants us to do... If you are not working for God you indeed are not following His commands..

Let's look at the passages from James...

(NIV)

An example I like to use is this... If you know a family that is having trouble putting food on the table, which works best for them... You hold their hand and pray for them and remind them that God will provide their needs and send them off. Then knowing that God provides needs through the loving hands of others, you go to the store and purchase some burger, some rolls, maybe some hot dogs and a 10 pound bag of potatoes and you drop them off, maybe just setting them on the porch and ringing the door bell and then going back to your car you watch as they come out and get the food from the porch. Brothers and sisters, God died for us, and He also told us, commanded us to work for Him... What if farmers decided not to farm (many of them have sold the farm)? What if the fine family at Mason/Dixon farms decided to stop milking cows and just take care of their family? What if the truck drivers who take the food from place to place all decided to stop working (and that has happened in the past)? What would happen if all those people who are working for God to help Him supply our needs would stop working for Him? Things would change, I am sure, we might be all eating Manna from heaven. But wait, those who are TRULY BORN AGAIN will not stop working for God, they will not. Notice I said truly born again.

Yesterday I went to the place where I get my glasses made, Hampton Optic in Hampton Township. I went to pay for my new glasses, the ones I need to help me read the fine print in my Bible notes. She told me they were on her, and she enjoyed the messages and appreciated what Carry The Light Ministries does and wants to be a part of it. She has helped us for many years. Instead of a bill for my glasses I left with the new glasses and a check to purchase food. The owner, by the way, is born again, she loves God and is working for Him by helping others. This, my friends, is called Sharing Your Blessings. You have heard that before on this line.

You are born again, and if you have not asked in the past about your work for God, let's do it now. I know of no better way to close this series than to get our assignments for God. Let's do it now... I love this week, God is good and Lord willing, I am preaching this same message this week. 10:00 AM Sunday Morning at the Bridges and you are welcome. Come see it come to life, and pray for me as I call on God to anoint me to preach and teach it for Him. Address of the Bridges will follow the message.

Dear Father in Heaven, thanks for sending Jesus to us, and Jesus, thanks for going to the cross for me. I love You, Jesus. Now, Lord, I ask You look over our prayer requests and work on them according to Your will. And Lord, I ask now for my assignment for You and Lord, I ask You to help others as they seek out working for You, maybe some of them for the first time. Help us to walk in the light of Jesus each day so as to please You. Help us to do our very best to be like Jesus. And I ask this in Jesus' name, and Lord, thanks for the messages of this week and every week. How faithful You have been to me, and I am so unworthy, Lord. Forgive me when I fail You... In Jesus' name, Amen.

Go Forth sharing your blessings and if you want to come to church at The Bridges Sunday, you are welcome... Love ya, Pastor Dan.

Veterans Day 2010 Salvation Week (Day 2)

"Greater Love has no one thnt this, that he lay down his life for his friends."

"I am the way and the truth and the life, no one comes to The Father except through me."

Thank You Jesus, and Thanks be to God for our military and our veterans... Happy Veterans Day 2010, my dear brothers and sisters. While most of us think of veterans these days as old men and a few older women from WW2 days, while the truth is, that we have many, many veterans who are just 18 and 19 years old and some of them wounded for life, while others came back from war covered with our flag. So today and I did not lay it out like this, only God can plan like this, but today as we are in day four of Salvation week, the day we find Jesus dying on the cross for our personal freedom, we find it to be veterans day here in America. So again I say, Thank You, Jesus, for dying for me and others, and thank you, veterans, for being willing to lay down your lives to keep America Free. Job well done, ladies and gentlemen, job well done... And they keep marching on.

Please pray this way today, along with your other prayers... Pray for salvation, those coming to Christ today..Also pray for our current military as you remember we are indeed a nation at war, at war times two. Pray also for our veterans and remember please those living in veterans' hospitals nationwide.

Salvation Week (Day 4):

John 14:6 -"I am the way and the truth and the life, no one comes to The Father except through me."

John 15:13 - "Greater Love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends."

Revelation 3:20 - "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me."

Romans 5:8 - But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

John 1:12 - "Yet to all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God."

Romans 10:9/10 - "That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and you believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (All scriptures NIV)

Brothers and sisters, are you ready for today, maybe to come to Christ for the first time, or to renew because you have slipped back, or maybe to come back because you have walked away over the years? We have looked so far this week and found we are all sinners and in need of being saved, we have found that there is a wage for sin and that is death, but the love of Christ, if we accept it, will give us eternal life with Jesus. Today we go to the cross and ask Jesus into our lives... and tomorrow we find out why we must work for Him.

Let's review the scriptures that have been pointed out to me today. John 14:6, which is one of my most loved scriptures, tells us point blank there is but one way to heaven and that is by and with Jesus as He went to the cross for us. It also points out to me that if we want to get a prayer to heaven for God The Father to work at, we need to put them also through Jesus. Let's go over it again.

John 14:6 - "I am the way and the truth and the life, no one comes to The Father except through me."

Please note that last part... "NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH ME." And this in the world of Jesus, Himself.

John 15:13 - "Greater Love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends."

Now brothers and sisters, after Jesus was born here on earth to a virgin mother and grew up and then preached and taught us how to live, He indeed laid down His very own life for us. He was wiped, beaten, spit-on, and nailed to a cross, and He did it for us. He did it for You and He did it for Me. So now I am going to ask you, are you ready to take Jesus into Your heart for the first time or to renew with Him? Please, today I ask you to share this message with others. I don't ask that very often, but today it is so important. Let's receive Christ now, or renew now, or move tighter with Him now. But first I want to remind you, this must be done in faith, faith in Christ Jesus.

First we need to admit we need Jesus in our lives. Why, because we are sinners, and the Bible told us that, we are all sinners. So right now, go to The Father and confess your sins to Him, through Jesus. Here is a helper prayer if you want to follow my lead...

Dear Father in Heaven, I confess today that I am indeed a sinner who needs the blood of Jesus, that still flows from Calvary to clean me. So wash me white today, Lord, clean my closet... In the name of Jesus I ask this... Amen.

Second, we need to repent of our sins, which means to turn and walk away. So ask God to help you turn and walk away from sin. You can follow my lead or pray on your own...

Dear Father in Heaven, I can hear the words of John the Baptist and those of Jesus telling me to repent for the Kingdom of heaven, the Kingdom of God is near. I cannot do this alone, nor do I want to, I want to hold onto You Jesus, I want You to turn me around. So help me, Lord. I pray in Jesus name... Amen.

Now here we go walking in faith... We need to believe this, we need to believe in Jesus that He did die and was raised from the dead. I believe it, folks, and I pray you do also. Have faith, my dear brothers and sisters, as we do serve a SAVIOR WHO IS ALIVE AND WELL... Amen.

Now let's go to prayer and ask Him into our lives...

Dear Father in Heaven, please send the Holy Spirit into my heart, send Jesus into my heart, I want to be saved right now. So, Lord, please come in and save me now. I want to be born again, right now. Come in Jesus, please come in. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Here is some assurance for you...

Romans 10:13 - "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

Ephesians 2:8/9 - "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast."

You cannot work your way into heaven, but you need to work for God once you are all saved, so tomorrow we talk about what we must do. I want you to note from Romans 10:13: It does not make a difference how bad your past was, it might to man, but God will forgive you of all those sins. It tells us everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. It does not say just some, it tells me all. Meaning to me, that if you and I called on Him today, WE ARE INDEED SAVED. WE ARE BORN AGAIN, WASHED IN THE BLOOD, SINNERS SAVED BY GRACE... can someone shout a big PRAISE YOU JESUS... thanks for dying for us.

Go forth with a smile on your face, and maybe singing today, for indeed you are a new person or a renewed person... So let's jump at it. A brand new day it is; it is the very first day of the rest of you life... God is good and this is the day that He made...

This is the day, this is the day that the Lord has made, that the Lord has made. We will rejoice, we will rejoice and be glad in it, and be glad in it. This is the day that the Lord has made, We will rejoice and be glad in it. This is the day, this is the day that the Lord has made.

This is the day, this is the day that the Lord has made, that the Lord has made. We will rejoice, we will rejoice and be glad in it, and be glad in it. This is the day that the Lord has made, We will rejoice and be glad in it. This is the day, this is the day that the Lord has made.

This is the day, this is the day that the Lord has made, that the Lord has made. We will rejoice, we will rejoice and be glad in it, and be glad in it. This is the day that the Lord has made, We will rejoice and be glad in it. This is the day, this is the day that the Lord has made.

Now go forth and share your blessings and do it singing today as we go out singing. Love ya,

November 10, 2010 Salvation Week (Day 3)

"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."

"For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him."

It is Salvation Wednesday on Day 3 of Salvation Week. And today there are also some very important prayer requests. First for families praying for other family members to be saved. I think ALL families have at least one family member they are concerned about or not sure of when it comes to being Born Again. And Dolores and I are no different, as we have concerns about some of our family members. We also have more than one family, for God has blessed us to pastor The Bridges of Bent Creek, and I also know that all of you are my family, all of you (please do not all come for dinner at once), and yes, I have concern that everyone on the line is saved. If I was sure in my heart you were all saved I could be writing about something else. Hopefully you will be sharing the messages of this week with others.

Other prayer requests today... For 16 year old Eli Olsen who was in a very bad car crash on Monday. He was air lifted to Hershey Medical where he is being checked for brain damage. For 80 year old Josephine Strawser who is being checked for a mass in her abdomen, please pray that there is no cancer. And pray for Martha Campbell and the rest of the family. Please pray for Pearl and her family today, folks. Prayers also for Vicki who had her knees injected yesterday. She is in a lot of pain after the injections, please pray the injections work. Please pray for the Christians living in Iraq as they have been the subject of bombings in the last few days. Remember in those countries, the Muslims want to kill the Christians and Jews.

Salvation Week: (Day 3)

John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."

John 3:17 - "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him." (NIV)

Monday we talked about who needed to be saved, and I just want to add this. The only ones that really need to be saved, to be Born Again, are those who want to live on in heaven after departing earth. Those not interested need do nothing, and you will be put on the down elevator, which has but one stop, and that is in Hell.

Tuesday we talked about the fact we need to repent and turn from sin as we are forgiven.

Today we take a look at just why God has done this for us, why He has given us a way to LIVE.
FOREVER. Given us a way to get to heaven...

If I had to sum this up in just a word, I would say it was LOVE. Yes, God's love for us is why He sent Jesus, His one and only Begotten Son, to the earth to be born here, to live among us and to show us how to live, to set examples and to teach us, and then to die for us on the cross. God pointed me to scriptures that I had used already this week, John 3:16 & 17. Here are a few more scriptures that point out this love God had and has for us, and first one that tells us who will get us in to heaven...

John 14:6 - Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (NIV)

1 Timothy 2:3/6 - God, our Savior 4 who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of truth. 5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave Himself as a ransom for all men. (NIV)

1 Peter 3:18 - For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit. (NIV)

Romans 5:8 - But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (NIV)

Brothers and sisters, we, like it or not, we are all sinners, and we must repent from those sins and be saved by the love of God who sent Jesus to the world to live among us and then Jesus died for us, then of course He, Jesus, was risen from the dead, this to show us there is indeed life after our death here on earth. So with all the scriptures I used today and there are more of course that show how much Jesus loves us and how much God The Father loves us. God the Father sent Jesus to die to save us. So I ask you this fine day. How much do you love Jesus? If someone, and this could happen, if someone were to hold a gun to your head and say to you, "Do you love Jesus?", what would your answer be? Would you say, of course I love Jesus, knowing full well you might be shot on the spot? Or would you say, Jesus who? I am telling you, you might need to make that choice before we are called home. I would say this... JESUS, I LOVE YOU! For I know that if shot, I would be going straight to Jesus. Folks, how strong is your love for Jesus? Do you work for Him daily? Do you give Him time each week? Or do you give Him an hour or less per week?

Tomorrow we are going to confess to Christ our love for Him, we are going to be going to Christ in faith so that we know we are born again. Then on Friday we will wrap all of this up by finding out we indeed need to work for Him after being saved. Work alone will not get you into heaven, but after being saved we must go to work.

Dear Father in Heaven, thanks for Your love for us, and now, Lord, we need to show You just how much we love You. Lord Jesus, I want to grow in You, love You more and more each day till You call me home. Father, You have given Your son for us and we want to walk with Him. Today and tonight help us all on this line to review our lives and talk to You about our lives and our sins, and we all want to repent, so help us, dear Lord, with this, and Lord, please look over our prayer requests and honor them according to Your will and not ours. In the name of Jesus who died for me, I pray. Amen.

Now go forth this day and really pray about your past, for tomorrow we are going to Christ for a pardon and forgiveness and to come nearer to Him. Some might be coming to Him for the first time ever. And after we are saved we must do things for Him. One thing we can get started on is sharing our blessings. Will you share some of yours today? Love ya, Pastor Dan.
