PRAISE GOD, PRAISE GOD, PRAISE GOD. Andrew has been found and is home safe. The family, thanks all of us who have prayed, with all glory and honor to God!
Dear Father in Heaven, we do serve an awesome Savior, and I want to thank You and give You all the honor and glory for hearing and answering our prayers for both Andrew and that tiny, tiny baby. Father, You are awesome also for saving us from our sins and I love You so much. Thanks for rolling away stones for us each day. I never realized just how many times in each day that You roll away stones just for me. Lord, as I get older I appreciate You more and more. Please open Your Word to me now for the daily message and then please help me to get it dispatched. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.
Dear brothers and sisters, what great news, first about that tiny baby and now Andrew, who we have been praying for just over a week, is back home. Again, all glory and honor going to God. When someone goes missing or does not check in, hours of waiting seem like days and months. PRAISE GOD, PRAISE GOD, PRAISE GOD. What great, great news. I was going to write yesterday but on the day people call April Fools Day, I could only think of one really foolish thing. If you do NOT know Jesus you are indeed a fool! As for the message today, we are still on the Big Trip, so let me get to it.
Saturday: April 2, 2016: The Big Trip (Day Fifty-nine)
John 21:15-19 New International Version (NIV)
Jesus Reinstates Peter
15 When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon son of John, do you love Me more than these?"
"Yes, Lord," he said, "you know that I love You."
Jesus said, "Feed my lambs."
What does this mean? While Jesus is reinstating Peter, it looks to me like Jesus is telling Peter to take the Good News of Jesus to the little children. This is what God is giving me. Also, Jesus is stating that we must love Him more than ALL OTHERS. Same today, folks!!
16 Again Jesus said, "Simon son of John, do you love me?"
He answered, "Yes, Lord, you know that I love You."
Jesus said, "Take care of my sheep."
Again as I look at this it looks to me like Peter is being told to feed the older folks also. A lamb being a child, and the sheep being the adult. All need fed!!
17 The third time He said to him, "Simon son of John, do you love me?"
Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third tie, "Do you love me?" He said, "Lord, you know all things; you know that I love You."
I have a question here. How many times over the years have you heard Jesus calling out to you, do you love me? One, two, three, or so many you cannot remember? Jesus reinstating you is just part of His "Looking Beyond Our Faults."
Jesus said, "Feed my sheep. 18 Very truly I tell you, when you were younger you dressed yourself and went where you wanted; but when you are old you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go."
Again we are being told to feed His sheep, and we by now know it is from the kids to the oldies, which I am one of!!! In verse 18, this fits so well. Think about it, when you were younger you dressed yourself and we pretty much went where we wanted to go. Now as I am getting older when I am trying to put on my jacket oftentimes people want to come up and help me, and indeed my arms are stretched out.
Look at this, however, I know I have done it, and that is I stretched out my arms to the sides when talking about how Jesus died on the Cross.
19 Jesus said this to indicate the kind of death by which Peter would glorify God. Then he said to him, "Follow me!"
Here we find we are being called again as Peter was called, and Peter died in a way to glorify God. Peter was martyred and back then that indicated that he was crucified upside down. ARE YOU WILLING TO BE MARTYRED FOR JESUS? I want you to really think about that, for the time might come when we need to say, I love Jesus, and if we do not deny Him, we could be shot, beheaded or some other way of being crucified. I hope none of us ever need to answer that question, however I know I love Jesus and I am willing if needed to die for Him. After all, HE ALREADY DIED FOR ME. And He died for all of you also. How about it? Would you? Something to really think about. This is happening all over the world, and it could come here. I did tell you about the priest that was crucified on Good Friday and the three-year old girl being beheaded. (Neither was in the USA.)
Now brothers and sisters, go forth and share the Good News of Jesus, and share please how He answered prayers as listed above and how He has answered other prayers for you. Love ya.

He Looked Beyond My Faults (to the tune of "Londonderry Aire" with words by the late Dottie Rambo. This tune was also used for the song "Danny Boy)
Amazing Grace shall always be my song of praise
For it was Grace that bought my liberty.
I do not know just why He came to love me so.
He looked beyond my fault and saw my need.
I shall forever lift mine eyes to Calvary
To view the Cross where Jesus died for me.
How marvelous the Grace that caught my falling soul!
He looked beyond my fault and saw my need.
I shall forever lift mine eyes to Calvary
To view the Cross where Jesus died for me.
How marvelous the Grace that caught my falling soul!
He looked beyond my fault and saw my need.
