Praise God, Praise God, Praise God!
Dear Father in Heaven: I love You and I want to give You all honor and glory right now for holding onto Dolores as she went through her colon test today. All Glory and Honor is Yours as she has no cancer, no polyps. Thanking You for watching over this line, and thank You for helping me with messages. Thanks for rolling away stones for each of us this day. And Lord, thanks for another really beautiful day. Oh, how I love You. It is in the wonderful mighty name of Jesus I pray and give thanks. Amen.
Dear brothers and sisters, as you can see I am really excited about the results of that colon test Dolores had to go through. And on this our Salvation Wednesday I had a chance to witness to people as I wanted for her. Even gong back the hall to sit in with her for the doctor's report, I was calling out, I am coming and you are still number two in my life. I was saying it over and over again, and then someone asked me, "who is number one" and of course I said "Jesus." Of course I then got to witness to a few nurses, who were very busy. Then in came the doctor, and the first thing he said was "there is no cancer." With that I called out, thank You, Jesus, and then we talked about God for awhile. He spent time going over the results, and then sat and talked about God. Folks, if you are not able to witness to someone each day, you just ain't trying.
With that, let me get to a short message, for I must get in and get my legs up. Please start praying for the elections. And please consider voting life.
Salvation Wednesday: April 20, 2016: Praise God!!!
Psalm 78:4 - We will not hide them from their children; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, His power, and the Wonders He has done. (NIV)
As you can see here we are to pass down from generation to generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord. We are to talk about His power and the Wonders He has done.
So where does one start when telling about the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord? Well, how about just having the air we breathe, or how about this beautiful day, or how about the rainy days, how about all the food we have, how about the fact we are on the "green side of the grass?" I could go on and on, so let me get to some of the most important ones.
Number one would be The Cross, yes, The Cross upon which Jesus died, for that is what our Salvation is all about. How about how He took on the sins of the world and had removed all of our yesterdays as far as sin is concerned. In other words your good past is still there, but the bad stuff is gone. And don't let others cast up your bad past. Jesus took it away, if you indeed are saved.
Let me go way back to the beginning when God first made Adam. Remember God picked up dirt from the ground and formed Adam. And dear brothers, this is why when someone tells me I have ring around the collar I just tell them it is because I came from dirt and some is rubbing off on my shirt. Laugh on that one, please. But think of His Powers right from the beginning. He made it all!!! And yes, someday He will send Jesus back and end it all again. So the best place to start witnessing just might be within your very own family. Dolores and I as parents above all else want to feel all of our children are indeed "Born Again" before we are called home. Someone please say Amen.
Now most days Dolores will come out and help me spell check this. She is resting and I am not going to wake her. Please understand I don't spell well.
Now go forth praising God, singing your own tune, and sharing Jesus with others. Love ya.
