Wed. Oct. 19, 2011 What Comes out of your mouth? 3

When anyone is guilty in any of these ways, he must confess in what way he has sinned and as a penalty for the sin he has committed, he must bring to the Lord a female lamb or goat from the flock as a sin offering and the priest shall make atonement for him for his sin.

Good Salvation Wednesday Morning, my dear brothers and sisters. It is a beautiful morning here at the Southern Location of the North Pole. Please, folks, as we pray today, please pray for the unsaved and pray that God will use us to help lead in the Lost, and please be open to the call of the Lord to do that work. Also, two weeks from this day, Santa and Mrs. Claus hit the road, and we need your prayers. As Santa and Mrs. Claus, we get to talk to a lot of people and we want to always talk to them about Jesus and why we have Christmas. Allenberry Playhouse and Resort Inn is our main stay and we get to talk to a lot of people.. Being the Claus family is something we love to do and we find we can mix it well and it has been a great tool in seeking out the lost. Dolores needs prayers for her knee so she can climb the bus steps and for me, well, I need prayers for my knees also, just so I can walk.

As you pray today for the lost, please pray for that 8 month old baby that is missing, and I forget the state where this is happening. Also in Ohio, someone has opened cages at a big game park and the lions and tigers are on the loose, and the owner of the park is dead. Folks, someday the lions will lay beside the lamb, but that is when Jesus comes back (hey that would be great today?).

What Comes Out of Your Mouth? Day 3: Leviticus 5:5 - When anyone is guilty in any of these ways, he must confess in what way he has sinned and as a penalty for the sin he has committed, he must bring to the Lord a female lamb or goat from the flock as a sin offering and the priest shall make atonement for him for his sin. (NIV)

Today as we talk about Salvation and what comes out of your mouth, let us look at scriptures that talk about confession. When we sin, either against God or against man and when we sin against man we are also sinning against God. When we sin, we need to confess, we really do. Folks, it is so easy to sin, it really is, as we are sinners by nature, only Jesus is clean of all sin and always has been.

Numbers 5:7 - The Lord said to Moses, 8 "Say to the Israelites; 'When a man or woman wrongs another in any way and so is unfaithful to the Lord, that person is guilty and must confess the sin he has committed. He must make full restitution for his wrong, add one fifth to it and give it all in the person he has wronged. (NIV)

Once again this scripture talks to us about confessing our sins, our sins we have done against other people. And you can see how I had already told you that if you sin against man, you are indeed sinning against the Lord.

So today I am talking about what comes out of your mouth and I am talking about confession or confessions, for if you are like me, I must put the s on confession.

Psalm 32:5 - Then I acknowledge my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the Lord" and you forgave the guilt of my sin. (NIV)

Brothers and sisters, how often have we, and again I use the word we for it means you and me. How often have we tried to cover up our sins? Wow, I would not want to try and count them. Look back in your youth and think about it. It is sort of like we hid our sins, and think about it, we might be able to have hidden something we did wrong from our parents, but you just can't hide it from God. Even trying to hide it from my mamma was tough, for she had her ways of finding out things. She would tell me, Danny, she called me that when she was pleased with me... Danny, do you have something you want to tell me? Why do you ask, mamma? Well, you have been quiet lately, and that is not like you. What have you done, if you tell me it will be better for you than if I find out on my own. So I confess and then would pay the price. But she was true to her word, she did not go hard on me... But when I messed up and she would find out and not from me, it would go like this, DANIEL WEBSTER LEHMAN, YOU COME HERE TO ME. You know I get excited to think in the not too many years I will hear her calling me again. Let's look at another scripture about what comes out of your mouth.

Romans 10:9/10 9 - That if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified and it is with YOUR MOUTH THAT YOU CONFESS and are saved. (NIV)

Confession is good for the soul, my dear brothers and sisters, good for the soul, and folks, we must confess to get into heaven, and the scriptures of today just prove that. Yes, we must work for our Lord after we confess, but we must confess as shown in the scripture from Romans 10:9/10.

So on this Salvation Wednesday as you talk to the unsaved, these scriptures should help you. Also we need to, even after we are saved, confess to sins. I do know this, I am saved, I am born again, and still I say to you...

Dear Father in Heaven, what we want to come out of our mouth today and every day is good things, but today we think about confession as it relates to being saved. So use us this day, Lord, first hear our prayers and please forgive us of our sins, and then use us to help bring in the lost. Hear our other prayers and answer according to Your will, oh Lord. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

And now go forth, sharing your blessings, confessing your sins, and saying and living this. "Lord, You gave us another day, may we give it back to You by living to please You in all we do." We want to live to please You Lord... I love You Jesus, and I love all of you folks... Pastor Dan.
