Good Morning, my dear brothers and sisters. It is a beautiful morning here at the Southern Location of the North Pole. As for the weather report in this area, those living along the streams and low areas, please be alert to the fact we are to have another 2.5 inches of rain.
Prayers this day for our leaders, our President and our other leaders, those in congress, and those in our state houses and in our local governments, and maybe all of them should be reading the messages of this week or "What Comes Out Of Your Mouth?" and yes, you may send the message to your government officials. Beside praying for our leaders, please pray for our veterans, please pray for our military and for all who work to keep us safe. Please pray that those who are protesting would pack up and go home. I get a big kick out of the people protesting those big corporations, for if it were not for men and women walking out and taking a chance, pooling their dollars to build things, those protesting and us also would still be using an out
house. Those folks are standing in parks and speaking out and the only reason they can do that is because our Military fought battles to keep us free. As I see them protesting I am reminded again about those who do not work should not eat. GET A JOB, FOLKS, for if you put the time and effort you put into protesting you could surely find work to do. By the way, I have not seen one protester holding a sign saying their football team pays the players too much money and they should get some of the players money to be a fan... Ok, so much for that, and those folks should also read the message of today.
What comes out of your mouth? Day one: Genesis 1:3 - And God said, "Let there be light and there was light."
I invite all of you to go and read the creation story found in your Bible in Genesis, starting with Genesis 1:1 where it says this. "In the beginning God."
This is a very good place to find out some of the things that came out of the mouth of God. As in the most part God spoke creation into fact.
Also on today's Market you need also to think of your fingers as an extension of your mouth as we, and I say we, because I am writing to you folks each day. We need to also be thinking about what we have typed before we push the send button and send our thinking (or not thinking) out on the air waves.
As I look over our bodies or I should say as I look over my body for this story I am trying to figure out which part of my body is the strongest and which parts were the strongest in the past. Yes, at 70 we do start to lose some of the strength of your body parts. I should hope and pray that the strongest part of my body is still my brain and it should be the strongest part of your body also. However, even if our brain is the strongest part of our body, it does not do any good if we do not engage it. At one time I thought my legs were the strongest part of my body, I used them daily, I walked and walked at my service stations going out and in to the gas pumps as we were a full service service stations. But now my legs are old and worn and I can hardly walk anymore, so then I think about my arms and they are strong, but the only way I can keep them strong is to be using my brain so that I don't mess them up. I know people who have strong backs, powerful backs, and very strong bodies but the part that can do the most for you, either good or bad, is your mouth and if it is one body part that really needs you to engage your brain is your mouth and also those fingers as you type out messages.
So as we go through the messages this week, I want you to think of your body parts and the fact that the body part in charge of your body is your brain and the part that can get you into the most trouble is your mouth. I also want you to do this today, go to your bathroom and get our your toothbrush and the toothpaste, and I want you to squeeze out all of the toothpaste onto the brush, and then since you would have too much on the brush, put what you don't need back into the empty tube. Folks, that is my example of trying to put something back after it got out. And what comes out of your mouth is even harder to put back into your mouth. So God gave us all a brain, and we should really use it, but after that, don't just run things out your mouth, let's put the things you want to say into your brain and when they come out, run them into your heart. You see you need to really, really think about what you are saying and think about a lot of things... This week we are going to talk about some of the good things that come out of your mouth and some of the bad. We are going to make a list, and we are also going to look for scriptures each day where we find things that Jesus talks about and also what He tells us about what we should say. Tomorrow we will start by doing one thing that God tells us to do, and we need our mouth to do it. What is it? Well, it relates to noise.
Dear Father in Heaven, thanks for getting me started on this message, and I ask that You watch over it and that You watch over my brain and my heart and that I always run what I am going to type or say through them. I also want all to learn this week, Lord, of how we should also run all things we are saying past You to see if they come up to your standards. Help us with that, be with Baby Boy Noah and heal his cancer and Lord, please heal Vicki and heal her body and mind so good that she can get back on the work force... In the name of Jesus, I pray for our leaders our president and other leaders. Keep them safe in their jobs. And Lord, before our President does anything I pray he runs it past You... In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
Now go forth and know this. "God has given us another day, may we give it back to Him by living it for Him." Now go and share your blessings. Love Ya, Pastor Dan.
