Thursday: The Journey 8

Noah did all that the Lord commanded him.

Good Morning, my dear brothers and sisters, it is a beautiful day here at the Southern Location of the North Pole, snow covered lawns and fields and beautiful sunshine. It is Thursday and family day on this line. So, folks, please pray today for families, and yes, pray for the one living in the White House and pray for your family and mine. Also pray for the family of Vicki and for the Saylor family, this wonderful family from Whitehall Pa. the family of Donna. Also and of most importance, please pray for the "Family of God".

A little update on Carry The Light Ministries Food Pantry. We have food packed and ready for over 90 families and some have already picked up their gift of food. Other names are still coming in and God is still putting more food on the shelves through the hands of others. Yesterday afternoon I went to the food store and picked up 500 pounds of potatoes in five pound bags. Folks, working for the Lord is fun and rewarding. The rewards come later. For all of you who have helped and who are still helping, THANK YOU.

The Journey 8: Genesis 7:1 - The Lord then said to Noah, "Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation. 2 Take with you seven of every kind of clean animal, and male and its mate, and two of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate 3 and also take seven of every kind of bird, male and female, to keep their various kinds alive through out the earth. 4 Seven days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living creature I have made. 4 Seven days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living creature I have made." 5 And Noah did all that the Lord commanded him. 6 Noah was six hundred years old when the floodwaters came on the earth. (NIV)

Now let's put ourselves at the door of the ark and watch what all is coming on board. Now God told Noah to board the Ark and bring on all those animals. Notice that the clean animals, those that were ok to eat, were brought on in sevens as were the birds. There was one living species that God created that did not need to come on the ark and that was the fish of the sea.

So here we go, this six hundred year old man went on the ark and with his sons they started to load the ark. Can you see that happening today? Yesterday we got to thinking about how big the ark was. Now think of all the animals starting to come to wait to get on the ark... Noah and his family build the ark and the animals came because God called them to come. Think of your neighbors today if you were building this ark at your home and now comes the animals, and the township or city officials would have a big old hissy fit. Why, you cannot even put up a sign without a permit, and could you see the game wardens lined up. Hey Noah, do these big cats have rabies shots? Where is the dog license for the wolves, Noah? Hey Noah, do you have water on board for them all? And Noah said to the game warden... How long can you tread water? Oh stop laughing at me...

You know God works things out, we just need to pray and trust in Him as Noah did. The ark floated and did its job as did Noah and his family.

My question now comes back to us, you know us means you and me, and are we doing our job for our Lord. One of the things that really upsets me about the flood and the big forty day rain is that God put the rainbow in the sky to remind Him to never destroy the earth again by water.

Genesis 9:12 - And God said, "This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come. 13 I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. 14 Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, 15 I will remember my covenant between me and you and all the living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life." (NIV)

And now look at it, the gay community is STEALING GOD'S SIGN between Him and us. Shame on them for the sin and stealing the sign.

Dear Father in Heaven... Thanks for making a covenant between Yourself and us that you will never again destroy the earth with a flood. Lord, I pray for peace and the day You come back for us as I for one am ready. Until that date thanks for trusting in me to work for You and I pray I can keep it up. Lord, bless all those who feel the same and work for You, and Lord help us that work for You, work on bringing in the lost and also more helpers for in the fields. Lord, help us this day to work for You and Lord, please bless families this day and heal those who have splits in the family. Help bring sister to sister and brother to brother back together again. Lord, I pray that all on this line work for You. And Lord, I pray for all families starting with the family of God... In Jesus Name, I pray, Amen.

Go forth now sharing those blessings and loving one another and keeping our Lord Jesus above all others in your life including your family... Love ya, dan.

  1. NOBEL PRIZE TO WAR

"As written this will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the understanding of the prudent." Where is the wise ?...¿ not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? (1st Corinthians 1:19-20)

No doubt this madness increasingly replacing the wisdom.
It is well that war has become as of today in the most noble and inspiador element for achieving justice and peace in this world.
This new perspective of looking selflessly to the war has not left the macabre Bin Laden or the late Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein author of the phrase "mother of all wars."
Although you may not believe this "wise" approach has come out of President of the United States, Barack Obama, and this approach has not only received applause until the Nobel Peace Prize.
With a haughty look, befitting a world leader, Obama accepted the award along with $ 1.4 million, according to the very "humility."
As President Obama lectured that the war is "morally justifiable" in Afghanistan and Iraq, had the luxury of supporting those who seek freedom in Iran, Burma and Zimbabwe, the United States support a war will probably morally justifiable .
If things are going well on this planet, probably very soon see peace, love, and truth, as archaic ideas, and people who promote it as subversive.
