Wed. 5/9/2012 More promises from God!

There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it.  His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow.  The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.  The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.  He is not here, He has risen, just as He said.  Come and see the place where He lay."

PRAISE REPORT, PRAISE REPORT.  I still do not have his name, but the teenager who needed a heart transplant, whom we prayed for on Monday, received that heart from a donor on Monday and the transplant is done and the lad is doing well...  I am still trying to get a name. Keep praying now that his young body does not reject the heart.

PRAISE REPORT, PRAISE REPORT...   Dolores went to the surgeon yesterday and they were to take fluid from her knee and send it for testing to see how the infection was coming.  God got there first, there was no more fluid to get  from the knee.  She is still taking meds through a pic line that she puts in every other day.  Blood was taken and sent to be check for infection.   

Good Salvation Wednesday Evening, my dear brothers and sisters.  It is Wednesday and the day we pray for the unsaved that they shall become saved, and the day we should put feet on this prayers and search out the unsaved to lead them in to be saved by Jesus.  Also please pray today for our son Keith Lehman Sr. who had major surgery on his right shoulder this morning.   Please keep praying for Vicki as she heals from her knee surgery.   Please add Beatrice to your prayer list...  She was hit head-on by a drunk driver and has suffered brain danger.   Her daughter, Priscilla, runs the food bank in Newport for the Newport Assembly of God.

Pray for some incoming food that we are receiving into our food pantry...  I understand we are going to get two skids of MRE's or meals ready to eat...  It will be nice to serve to the hungry of our area what our military gets to eat.  Let's get to the message as I work this week toward that GREAT PROMISE FROM GOD THAT IS YET TO COME... 

5/9/2012 Promises from God:  Matthew 28:2 - There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. 3 His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. 4 The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men. 5 The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. 6 He is not here, He has risen, just as He said.  Come and see the place where He lay."

Brothers and sisters, this is one about a promise that was made to His disciples and others who followed Him, and they heard this. I will suffer and die, and these words recorded in Matthew 26:32 "But after I have risen, I will go ahead of you into Galilee."  Another promise fulfilled, Jesus has risen as He said He would.  As we look at promises, some have been fulfilled, others are ongoing like "He will supply our needs" and yes, there is one yet to come...   Who will tell me about this big promise that I am going to write about on Friday?  Do you know it?  Where do you get the proof that it will happen?  and of course what is the promise?

Dear Father in Heaven...  Thanks for another day, thanks for answered prayers with the teenager and also with Dolores.  Hear our prayers again this day and act on them according to Your will and not ours... In Jesus' name, Amen.
