As soon as Jesus was baptized, He went up out of the water. At
that moment heaven was opened, and He saw the Spirit of God, descending like a
dove and lighting on Him. And a voice from heaven said, "This is my Son, whom
I love; with Him I am well pleased."
Happy Salvation Wednesday, my dear brothers and sisters in
Christ. It is a really nice morning here at the Southern location of the North
Pole. Yes, Wednesday again and that means we pray for salvation, salvation for
the lost souls. Today, I ask you to pray and pray hard for our President,
President Obama to come to Jesus. You might say to me, maybe he is already
saved! And without judging him, I ask you, all of you this question, how can
one be saved, be born again in Jesus, born again by the power of the Holy Spirit
and still believe it is ok to abort unborn children? Pray that our president
would be touched enough by his two beautiful daughters to say enough is enough
when it comes to KILLING BABIES.
President Lincoln Freed the Slaves.
Now is the time for a president to step up to the plate and go
down in history as the president that FREED THE UNBORN! And all supporters
of life said AMEN AND AMEN AND AMEN!
Wednesday 5/2/2012 More Promises from God (Day 11) Matthew
3:16 - As soon as Jesus was baptized, He went up out of the water. At that moment
heaven was opened, and He saw the Spirit of God, descending like a dove and
lighting on Him. 17 And a voice from heaven said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with Him I am well pleased." (NIV)
In this scripture of today we see the Promise from God that
Jesus really is the Son of God, as the voice from Heaven said this as Jesus came
out of the water. Now while I could labor on this point today, my message is
more of a question for you. Kids, could you answer the question today if ask,
is your father Pleased with you? Those of us who are
older, could we answer that question, were our dads pleased with us? Was my dad
well pleased with me and happy with me? Well, folks, my answer would need to be
something like this, my earthly dad was pleased with me most of the time, but
there were times I left him down. As for my heavenly Father, I have left Him
down a lot, a whole lot. So brothers and sisters, if your answer to the
question is a lot like mine, then think of this, how about let's try our very,
very best to walk each day in the light of Jesus so that before we pass from
this earth and on to heaven, Jesus can look down at us and say "well done, I am
pleased with you, come on in and be with me." And being it is Salvation
Wednesday, let's see if we can please Jesus by helping to get the lost gathered up
and to Jesus to be saved.
Dear Father in Heaven, I love You and I want You to be pleased
with me, but to do that I really need to lean on You each and every day. Help me
with it today, Lord, as we go out into the world, and help me to help someone along
the way as I am sure would please You. Be with those on our prayer lists, and
honor our requests according to Your will. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
Now go forth and share your blessings. Love ya Pastor, Dan.
