Good Salvation Wednesday Morning, my dear brothers and sisters. Please pray today for Reverend Phillip Enloe and his wife Jan and their family in the passing of their 33 year old daughter Wensdee. Pray also for Wensdee's daughter Destanie who lives with Pastor Phil and Jan. Please also pray today on this Salvation Wednesday for the unsaved for we just never know when we will finish out here on earth. Pray also for God to use we who are saved to help bring in the lost. I also have a prayer request for Jake, who has congestive heart failure. Jake is a K-9 who belongs to our prayer warrior Jen.

With Independence Day being this Sunday, July 4, 2010, I have been writing about God blessing this Nation, and if He might just stop blessing our Nation. You don't think that could happen? Look back to the days of Noah. I am also looking at our Constitution and our Bible together. Let's look again today...
Constitution Article 2: The executive power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America. He shall hold his office during the term of four years, and together with the Vice President chosen for the same term, be elected as follows... Then it goes on to describe how the election is held and all should look at it, for the president and vice president are not elected by a popular vote but by the vote of electors. You need to read this a few hundred times to just try and understand it... Anyway, the president then heads up the country for four years and can run for and if elected be president for another four year term.
Genesis 2: 4/8 - This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created. When the Lord God made the earth and the heavens and no shrub of the field had yet appeared on the earth and no plant of the field had yet sprung up, for the Lord God had not sent rain on the earth and there was no man to work the ground, but streams came up from the earth and watered the whole surface of the ground. The Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and the man became a living being.
Now the Lord had planted a garden in the east, in Eden; and there he put the man he had formed. And the Lord God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground, trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. (NIV)
Then the Bible goes on to tell about the rivers watering the garden and their names.
The Bible then tells how God placed man in the garden and commanded the man "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die."
Now in my humble opinion I would think that this was the very first commandment set forth to man by God. It was also the first one broken.
Anyway, God went on to make woman from a rib of the man and called the couple "Adam and Eve".
Ok, now let me ask you this... We have had many presidents in the United States, elected into office by man... ALL have messed up in more than one way, and some a whole lot more than others. Now we expect a president to be perfect and we, of course, hold them to a higher standard than others. And of course the political parties hold the presidents of the "Other" party to higher standard than their own. In short, we expect a lot. Now God who made man to start with did not expect nearly as much out of Adam as we expect out of our presidents, but again they all have one thing in common. All of our presidents and also Adam and Eve... They fail in some way or another. Eve picked the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil on the advice of a snake. She gave it to Adam and both ate it.
How many presidents have gotten into trouble because of others giving them bad advice? Now let me say this... If Adam and Eve would have followed that very, very first commandment, they would have not failed, and if our nation's leaders would follow the teachings of God, and not that of other men and women, we would be a whole lot better off.
So again as I look at the constitution of United States of America, what I see is, if we in America would just learn to follow the teachings of our Lord God found in the Bible, we would be a whole lot better off. Our country would run smoother, and we would not always be at war. But God knew man would fail, and right away He told us there would be wars and rumors of wars. Tomorrow we move on in the constitution and the Bible as see where else we have failed.
Think of this my friends, we expect our president to be perfect, and God, when He made man, really did not make perfect. He, God, gave man one thing that really caused the mess. (No, it was not woman, cut that thinking out.) What He gave us was "free will". Think about it, we expect so much out of our Presidents, we set high standards, and we should, but we also should expect the same thing out of (this is going to hurt) (ready?) we should also expect those same standards out of OURSELVES. We, like Adam and Eve, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Harry Truman, George H. W. Bush, William Clinton, George W. Bush, and President Obama have all fallen in some way or another. Thank God we have a savior named Jesus who forgives...
Dear Father in Heaven, Adam and Eve broke what I have called the first commandment, but we have broken many of them since. Lord, forgive us, please, and Lord help us work for You, and help us to bring in the Lost. Dear Lord, comfort Pastor Phil and Jan as they suffer and try to understand the calling of their daughter. Bless them, Lord, please bless them. Also please take care of Jake. As You know, dear Lord, we just love our pets. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

June 29, 2010 God Bless The USA (2)
Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked.
God, PLEASE Bless the USA. Thank You, Father.
Good Morning, my dear brothers and sisters, and blessings to you in the name of our Lord Jesus. It is Tuesday and here are a few prayer requests for this day, this schools day. Please pray for our schools, pray for our granddaughter Tiffany who is taking a test to work with those very special needs students at the Central Dauphin Schools District. Also pray for Glenn Gambler who had a stroke and for the Stuckeys in the death of a wife and mother. Also pray for the families of all those bikers who were killed in that cycle crash on Sunday afternoon.
God Bless The USA (2): Psalm 1:1 - Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. (NIV)
The scripture above tells us that if we want those blessings from God we should not be walking with Satan, and as far as I am concerned it is the same for our Nation. If we expect God to keep blessing this Nation then we should be walking with God... Amen.
The Constitution... Yesterday I wrote about the "Preamble" and lined it up with Genesis 1: 1/2. Today I want to look at the constitution...
Article 1: All legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.
Article one then goes on to tell all about how the Senate and the House of Representatives should be elected, their age requirements, and duties etc...
Now Article one is very big so let me say if you have a copy of the Constitution please read it on your own.. Let me now turn to the Bible and start today with Genesis 1:26.
Genesis 1:26 through 2:3 - Then God said, "Let us" make man in our image in our likeness and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground. So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground." Then God said, "I give you every seed bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground everything that has the breath of life in it I give every green plant for food." And it was so. God saw all that He had made and it was very good and there was evening and there was morning the sixth day.
Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array.
By the seventh day God had finished the work He had been doing; so on the seventh day He rested from all His work. And God blessed the seventh day and made it Holy, because on it He rested from all the work of creating that He had done... (NIV)
Ok, let me compare the constitution and these scriptures... THESE ARE MY OPINIONS as God gives them to me.... Here we go... Article one created a Congress, and as recorded in Genesis, God created man. What do they have in common, and they do have something in common. BOTH FAILED!!! That did not take long, did it? Those of you who watch, and you need not watch daily, you will see that our congress has failed. Most members in congress are concerned about one main thing, the next election. I really don't need to tell you how man has failed. Do you want to see where the failure of man starts today? GO AND LOOK IN THE MIRROR and that goes for me also.
Yes, we have all sinned and that means we have failed in the eyes of God, but we can come back and so can our nation. For our Nation to come back, it must start with us anyway.
Here are a few other notes. Congress may be recalled, by a recall vote, or by not reelecting a member... Man WILL BE RECALLED by His maker.
Congress was established to work for man... Man was made to work for God.
Congress was elected to help run the country... Man was made and trusted by God to run the country. I could go on, but you get the picture.
What will tomorrow have in store?
Remember this Sunday, Independence Day, yes, believe it or not, July 4th is not the name of the Holiday, it is the date that the holiday falls upon. Why not talking that up? We would not like it at all if next year everyone would start to say, Merry December 25th.
I want to close today by saying I am proud to be an American, and also proud to be a "Born Again Christian". I am happy to serve both my country and my Lord Jesus. I will also pledge our flag but only as long as it states "One Nation Under God" for I will never pledge anything that would be placed equal to or above God. For nothing, I say nothing in my mind will ever be equal to or above God. Amen. Where do you stand today? And while I am stating some facts about me, I think you should know this. I am a sinner, forgiven by God, and yes, I still mess up from time to time, but unlike years ago, I don't plan on messing up. I also want all of you to know that I DO BELIEVE in the Word of God that we find in our Bibles, I believe the Bible and all that is in it from where it says In the Beginning found in Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:20/21, He who testifies to these things says, "Yes I am coming soon." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God's people. Amen.
Are you a "Born Again Christian who loves America?" Now let me see which is more important? To me, I am more concerned if you are Born Again, for if you are Born Again, really Born Again, then you surely love this beautiful country that God gave us. You might not like the way it is run sometimes, but if You really love God, then I believe you must love America. However, if you love America, that does not mean you love Jesus. So today I ask, Do You love Jesus? Let's go to prayer now, asking God into our lives. Most all of you have done this before, but for those who are sitting on the fence... Will you join in faith today and come to Jesus?
Dear Heavenly Father, The One and only Father of our Country, we come to You asking that You forgive us of our sins. Lord, before we ever get our Nation back on track, we must get ourselves back on track with You and today I pray it will start with me. Come to me today, Lord, as I reach out for You, accept me and clean me of sins, and Lord, help me to tell others, and Lord, help me with our Nation's wrongs and to help make them right. Lord, may my loving You show to others. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
Now go forth sharing your blessings and sharing the Love of Jesus and also sharing your love for Jesus and your love of Country. While Jesus gave His life for us to have personal freedom, many men and women have given their lives or limbs for this nation. Some went and never came home, some went and came home and have been in hospitals since. And please remember all the mental wounds that our men and women of the military suffered, and today it is still going on, pray for our troops and pray for peace and as you pray for peace remember that prayer is calling on Jesus to come back.

June 28, 2010 God Bless the USA (1)
In The Beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, One Nation UNDER GOD, indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all.
Good Monday morning, my dear brothers and sisters. It is Monday and a beauty at that. God watered my garden overnight with a nice downpour. God is so good, praise God. Prayers today for our veterans, and our current military, also our leaders, meaning those in Washington DC and in our State Houses. Pray for the family of Senator Robert Byrd as he passed away yesterday. Also pray for the families of five motorcycle riders who were killed yesterday in one crash in Lancaster County, Pa. Also for the one rider who was seriously injured. No details on the accident are out yet other than 3 bikes collided with a Harrisburg based taxi. All three bike drivers were killed and two of the three passengers. Pray for Norma's mother as she fights Lime from a deer tick. Also for the mother of Donna and her brothers and sisters as she is put onto hospice care.

We, the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America. (From our pocket copy of the Constitution of the United States.)
If I were to ask most people today who was the Father of the United States of America, most might give the answer George Washington, who was our very first President. If I were to ask the question on this line and wait for all of you to answer, those who would answer would more than likely say "God The Father" or "Jesus", both of which are correct answers. So on this upcoming Independence Day Holiday which falls on July 4th, and this year our Country will be 234 years old; when asked who is the Father of our country, please respond proudly by saying GOD IS... Amen. This week as we come toward the Holiday I want to talk to you about the beginning of the earth and the beginning of our country on this earth...
One question I am going to ask right now is, and I am asking you, if you were God, and of course you are not, but if you were, how would you really feel about keep on giving this Nation such great blessings? I am afraid that if I were in God's shoes I would really consider stop giving this nation such great blessings. Here are just a very few reasons why...
First, on the top of my list would be the killing of unborn babies. When our country which is at war lets our own military die as they are not permitted to shoot back because of citizens, and I believe we should try our best to prevent those deaths, but then we just think nothing of killing those unborn babies... it is called abortion, this writer calls it MURDER. The doctors performing what is legal in the United States even advertise in the yellow pages of our phone books. I think all those doctors should be called Doctor Hit Man...
And after this one would have to be the taking of Christ out of our churches. Listen to this one, it was on the news just yesterday. Christ Community Church from, and I think it was in the state of Minnesota, has taken down the cross from the bell tower. The news showed the big crane pulling it down, and then they changed the name of the church to the 3C, removing the name of Christ and Church. They interviewed the pastor who said they now have many people coming to the church, some who are Christians, some Jewish, some Muslims, some from other faiths, and some with no faith at all, and the pastor and the church board wanted them all to be comfortable in church... SO JESUS WAS REMOVED... oh, I ask now, how comfortable is Jesus? I want to see people be comfortable in church also, but I like to see them squirm in their seats once in a while as I preach a little heat of the Lord.
This is why so many churches are going to fail, and sadly, a lot of folks will not notice that the church is failing till they get to heaven following that church and find they cannot get into heaven...
While no church will get you into Heaven, it is Jesus and Jesus only (John 14:6), but a church that does not preach the truth and you are part of it can surely help you be left out. And that pastor leading that flock down THE ROAD TO HELL will have to face God and I would not want to be in his shoes.
Next when it comes to God blessing America I would need to bring up all of our people in Washington who want to take God out of everything. Today I took a look at our Flag Etiquette book and how we are to fly our American Flag. It is always according to the book to be the flag at the top of the staff. If you drive past our home at 16 Dewalt Drive, Mechanicsburg Pa., and I pray all who are coming to the picnic take time to do just that as we are 30 seconds from the park, anyway, you will see our flag flying night and day (it has lights) and you will find our Christian Flag flying ABOVE the American Flag for we indeed still believe in ONE NATION UNDER GOD. I thought when I first starting flying the flag like this someone would make a point about it... Sadly no one has even asked, meaning they understand or they don't care..
Now while God might be able to be removed from a lot of things I want to tell you today that no one can remove God from my heart and no one can remove God from your heart except YOU. So this week as I talk to you about God, Country, and Home, let's be sure first we have God in our hearts, then we want to be sure we have Him in our homes, and then we will start working on the country. I often wonder just how many of those people who really are raising cane to keep things like in God we Trust on our dollars and coins and on the walls of congress really have Him in their hearts first.
Today I ask you to take time to talk about our great Nation to God, talk to Him and tell Him we are sorry for the condition of our Country about how we kill babies who have not been born and how we have children, yes, children those under the age of 18 killing each other on street corners.
Oh, and one more thing I think that really hurts God when it comes to America, and there are so many more, but what about that trash along our roads and even in our shopping centers? Does your blood come to a boiling point when you are in front of a Wal-Mart or your food store and you see someone smoking coming to the door and you just know the smoke is going on the ground and in most cases it does. And folks, not all people sitting at red lights in their cars are on the phone, some are emptying their ash trays. And if those smoking butts are not bad enough, and you can use the butts how you want to on that statement, but if it were not bad enough that they throw them on the ground, but what about those who put their chewing gum on the ground. I have stopped going to one local diner because you must walk through so much gum to get in. Ok, off my high horse for a tad, and I am going to God and ask for His blessings on our Nation.
Dear Father in Heaven, I am so sorry for the way people in this great nation You gave us act, and Lord, I must say that I have done my share of things that hurt You... I am sorry. But Lord, I ask today that You end abortion in this Nation even if it means bringing down our Nation, and Lord I really mean it, I am tired of those unborn babies being killed while we stand and pledge to be a Nation Under You. Lord, if we were really under You we would not kill those kids. And we would only be in wars to protect our own selves from those who want to attack us. Lord, forgive this Nation and bring healing to its peoples... In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Good Monday morning, my dear brothers and sisters. It is Monday and a beauty at that. God watered my garden overnight with a nice downpour. God is so good, praise God. Prayers today for our veterans, and our current military, also our leaders, meaning those in Washington DC and in our State Houses. Pray for the family of Senator Robert Byrd as he passed away yesterday. Also pray for the families of five motorcycle riders who were killed yesterday in one crash in Lancaster County, Pa. Also for the one rider who was seriously injured. No details on the accident are out yet other than 3 bikes collided with a Harrisburg based taxi. All three bike drivers were killed and two of the three passengers. Pray for Norma's mother as she fights Lime from a deer tick. Also for the mother of Donna and her brothers and sisters as she is put onto hospice care.

If I were to ask most people today who was the Father of the United States of America, most might give the answer George Washington, who was our very first President. If I were to ask the question on this line and wait for all of you to answer, those who would answer would more than likely say "God The Father" or "Jesus", both of which are correct answers. So on this upcoming Independence Day Holiday which falls on July 4th, and this year our Country will be 234 years old; when asked who is the Father of our country, please respond proudly by saying GOD IS... Amen. This week as we come toward the Holiday I want to talk to you about the beginning of the earth and the beginning of our country on this earth...
One question I am going to ask right now is, and I am asking you, if you were God, and of course you are not, but if you were, how would you really feel about keep on giving this Nation such great blessings? I am afraid that if I were in God's shoes I would really consider stop giving this nation such great blessings. Here are just a very few reasons why...
First, on the top of my list would be the killing of unborn babies. When our country which is at war lets our own military die as they are not permitted to shoot back because of citizens, and I believe we should try our best to prevent those deaths, but then we just think nothing of killing those unborn babies... it is called abortion, this writer calls it MURDER. The doctors performing what is legal in the United States even advertise in the yellow pages of our phone books. I think all those doctors should be called Doctor Hit Man...
And after this one would have to be the taking of Christ out of our churches. Listen to this one, it was on the news just yesterday. Christ Community Church from, and I think it was in the state of Minnesota, has taken down the cross from the bell tower. The news showed the big crane pulling it down, and then they changed the name of the church to the 3C, removing the name of Christ and Church. They interviewed the pastor who said they now have many people coming to the church, some who are Christians, some Jewish, some Muslims, some from other faiths, and some with no faith at all, and the pastor and the church board wanted them all to be comfortable in church... SO JESUS WAS REMOVED... oh, I ask now, how comfortable is Jesus? I want to see people be comfortable in church also, but I like to see them squirm in their seats once in a while as I preach a little heat of the Lord.
This is why so many churches are going to fail, and sadly, a lot of folks will not notice that the church is failing till they get to heaven following that church and find they cannot get into heaven...
While no church will get you into Heaven, it is Jesus and Jesus only (John 14:6), but a church that does not preach the truth and you are part of it can surely help you be left out. And that pastor leading that flock down THE ROAD TO HELL will have to face God and I would not want to be in his shoes.
Next when it comes to God blessing America I would need to bring up all of our people in Washington who want to take God out of everything. Today I took a look at our Flag Etiquette book and how we are to fly our American Flag. It is always according to the book to be the flag at the top of the staff. If you drive past our home at 16 Dewalt Drive, Mechanicsburg Pa., and I pray all who are coming to the picnic take time to do just that as we are 30 seconds from the park, anyway, you will see our flag flying night and day (it has lights) and you will find our Christian Flag flying ABOVE the American Flag for we indeed still believe in ONE NATION UNDER GOD. I thought when I first starting flying the flag like this someone would make a point about it... Sadly no one has even asked, meaning they understand or they don't care..
Now while God might be able to be removed from a lot of things I want to tell you today that no one can remove God from my heart and no one can remove God from your heart except YOU. So this week as I talk to you about God, Country, and Home, let's be sure first we have God in our hearts, then we want to be sure we have Him in our homes, and then we will start working on the country. I often wonder just how many of those people who really are raising cane to keep things like in God we Trust on our dollars and coins and on the walls of congress really have Him in their hearts first.
Today I ask you to take time to talk about our great Nation to God, talk to Him and tell Him we are sorry for the condition of our Country about how we kill babies who have not been born and how we have children, yes, children those under the age of 18 killing each other on street corners.
Oh, and one more thing I think that really hurts God when it comes to America, and there are so many more, but what about that trash along our roads and even in our shopping centers? Does your blood come to a boiling point when you are in front of a Wal-Mart or your food store and you see someone smoking coming to the door and you just know the smoke is going on the ground and in most cases it does. And folks, not all people sitting at red lights in their cars are on the phone, some are emptying their ash trays. And if those smoking butts are not bad enough, and you can use the butts how you want to on that statement, but if it were not bad enough that they throw them on the ground, but what about those who put their chewing gum on the ground. I have stopped going to one local diner because you must walk through so much gum to get in. Ok, off my high horse for a tad, and I am going to God and ask for His blessings on our Nation.
Dear Father in Heaven, I am so sorry for the way people in this great nation You gave us act, and Lord, I must say that I have done my share of things that hurt You... I am sorry. But Lord, I ask today that You end abortion in this Nation even if it means bringing down our Nation, and Lord I really mean it, I am tired of those unborn babies being killed while we stand and pledge to be a Nation Under You. Lord, if we were really under You we would not kill those kids. And we would only be in wars to protect our own selves from those who want to attack us. Lord, forgive this Nation and bring healing to its peoples... In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

June 25, 2010 My Rock, My Redeemer
O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.
Good Friday Morning. my dear brothers and sisters. It is a beautiful morning here at the home of Carry The Light Ministries... Just beautiful. God watered our lawn and garden again yesterday and added water to our well. Praise God for supplying one of our great needs, water.
Praise report in from Rob Campbell today on a good flea market last weekend, The church took in 5 grand toward their mortgage. Prayers today for all those who work in the fields of harvest for our Lord Jesus. Folks, the crop in the fields is in need of harvest and if we do not go out and work for our Lord getting this job done, the crop will rot. Think about this, who came and helped to harvest you? Once you are in the hands of God you have a job to do for Him. You say you don't like talking to people about being saved? Wow, I am glad someone talked to me about it. Pray, warrior,s for the workers and then become one yourself... and this is not just a request from this old man but an order from Jesus. Listen to these words of Jesus.
Mark 16:15 - He (Jesus) said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation." (NIV)
My Rock, My Redeemer: Psalm 19:16 - May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. (NIV)
For many years I would hear that passage prayed right before the message by Pastor Dr. Richard Denison, and yes, this verse tells us that Jesus is our Rock, our Redeemer and indeed it can be used as a prayer. When we think of Rocks, like rocks we see used for road work or rocks in your garden, etc., we know they come in all sizes, and in fact they are blasted out of the ground and put in big machines and made to size. If you make them real small you would call them stones or at one time we called them "gonnies". Boulders would be real big rocks. When we talk about our Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer I find that He, our Lord God comes in all sizes.
Let me just explain my thinking on that one. Let's start first with Jesus, who is our Rock and our Redeemer as being in the small size. We first saw Him or heard of Him while He was in the womb of His mother Mary. Then who can forget about the little Christ Child in the manger and yet He at that time was The Rock and the Redeemer and we remember how people came to the manger to see who He was. Then we get a look at Him again as a teenager not big in size but still a mighty Rock. As He grew and grew and became larger in size as humans grow He was still that rock. And now let me look at it another way.
Jesus loved and loves the little children and Has a way of making His size to fit them, and maybe you don't follow me on that one, but if you are big person like I am and I really wanted to talk to children I would sit down and bring them near to me. This brings your size down more to the child's size. And our Lord, our Rock and our Redeemer, is also the Rock and Redeemer of small children and we must remember that He also knows all of them even before they were in the womb. People who abort children or who murder them by aborting them should really remember that.
But God, our Lord Jesus, who is my Rock and my Redeemer, is just the size to handle me, but he is also the size to handle you also. So He can carry you and me and also all others who come to Him. In other words, our Rock can carry the small child and their problem or take on the weight of the world, which He did, by the way, when on the cross. We know our Rock and our Redeemer was large enough to cry, and large enough that once He forgives us to not hold it against us. And that is a big one that people should learn about each other. Once you forgive someone, don't cast it up to them again.
And today, today I want to wrap this series up by just saying I really appreciate that He is my Rock and my Redeemer, for now that I have come to Him, have built my life on the solid Rock, I am happy to say He indeed has redeemed me... How about You?
Dear Father in Heaven... Thanks for being my Rock and my Redeemer and may the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, be I singing it, preaching it or writing it on this line. Help us all to work Your fields of Harvest as ordered. Thanks, Jesus. Amen.

June 24, 2010 My Fortress My Rock!
The Lord is my Rock, my fortress and my deliverer!
Good Family Day Morning to all of you, my dear brothers and sisters. It is a tad hot here at the Southern Location but things are good. I picked our first vine ripened tomatoes and a nice squash yesterday. God is good. We sliced up the tomato and had it at lunch. Coming soon, bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwiches with mayo. Want to try something good... Years ago Helen Witmer made some of these and I loved them then and still love them today. Here is how you make them. Toast some bread and fry up some bacon, but not quite crisp. Take your toast and on a tray for your broiler lay them out, place a slice of cheese on top of that toast, then a nice slice of tomato, on top of that put a slice or two of that bacon. Put in the broiler and watch it, it will not take long, the cheese will melt and brown on the edges a tad and the bacon juices will run into the tomato. Pull them out, put on a tad of salt and eat open face. Wow, I am hungry. Please pray for Helen today on this family day... Pray for her family... including Harold and Mazie Goddard.
Also we have a new and major prayer request, it is for Trent Strokecker. A complete request will appear at the end of this message today. Trent is five years old and in short will need brain surgery.
My Fortress My Rock!: Psalm 18 - I love you, O Lord, my strength. 2 The Lord is my ROCK, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my ROCK, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. (NIV)
A fortress is described in the dictionary as being a fortified place and most often a large place used by military. From the days of old, military would build a fortress, with walls around it to keep out those trying to hurt others. Our military today has these type places where we have wars. Often now referred to as safe places. I remember growing up watching some of those old cowboy movies and seeing the forts. Today I have a fortress, and it is not a building, it is not our home, yet there are many times we use our property as a fortress. We do come in and lock doors, and we have dogs that tell us of strangers (and friends and family) who might have pulled in the driveway. Our home is a fortress from storms of weather, from the rain and snow and the wind and hail.
However, I have a personal Fortress that I want to tell you a little about today. My personal Fortress has a few names, one of which is Jesus, who I love dearly. Another name for my Fortress is just that, FORTRESS, for He is a place where I can get protection from those of evil who might want to harm me or my family. There is coming a day when we will get to the main Fortress, the one where we will be 100% protected from pain and suffering, and from dying, as there will be no more dying there. This Fortress will be perfect, it is a place we call Heaven and I know it is coming for Jesus has told us that, in fact He went there to get it ready for us and some sweet day He will come and get us out of our earthly fortresses and take us to be with Him. Listen to these words from Jesus.
John 14:1 - "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." (NIV)
Then Jesus said this.
John 14:6 - "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (NIV)
So, folks, we have a rock, a fortress that awaits us in Heaven, one that cannot be breached by anyone. One that was built just for us and others who have invited The Rock, our Lord Jesus, into their Hearts and also their lives. Folks, I must bring this up, it is not enough just to bring Jesus into your heart and do nothing more, you must truly bring Him into your very life, into the way you live. While I am writing this message today my mind is going out just a tad and in my heart I am hearing a bunch of friends, Tim, Larry, Neil, Duane and Dave standing and singing with all their hearts... "A Mighty Fortress is my God" ... A powerful song sang by might men of The Rock...
Today is family day on the line and may I suggest that all of you who head up your house head it up under God, put your family together here on earth with the Rock, the Solid Rock. All of us here on earth will fail at one time or another, I know I have failed a lot in my life, but The Rock will never fail you, never, ever. Pray with me just this short prayer...
Dear Father in Heaven, keep me safe, put me in Your Fortress here on earth and protect me from evil, help me to work for You and then someday and I pray soon come back for me and take me home. And till that day help me live to serve You. In the name of Jesus, my Rock and my Fortress, I pray. Amen.

TRENT STROHECKER: It has been confirmed today that Trent Strohecker (5 years old) must have brain surgery. The Surgeons' are trying to schedule it as soon as possible. Trent told his mom that there are people in his head telling him to shoot his head and run to the woods. Jess (Trent's mom) is trying to keep her job she carry's the health insurance I take Trent to work with me but that is hard for me and not fair to Trent. If anyone knows of anyone that could help out with daycare until surgery please let me know. (Trent has a sister Tori she would help watch him (she is 7) Trent is not having seizures the medicine is helping he just needs to be watched a little closer than other children. Please pray for that Trent will get through his surgery, that there is someone that can help with daycare temporary, age and most of all that the Lord will comfort Trent and his family and be with the surgeons the guidance. TODAY: Trent Strohecker will be admitted to Hershey Medical Center on Monday for testing before his surgery on Friday. Trent's liver is enlarged and now he must under go more tests. At this time it looks like he will not be able to come home once he is admitted to the hospital as previously thought. Trent and his family will be going to the shore tomorrow until Sunday to have some quality family time. Please pray that they have a safe trip and are blessed with a great time. I just want to add one thing Trent has a 7 year old sister, Tori who has grown up so fast through this, that sometimes we forget she is only 7. I pray that during their family time, the next 4 days, she can be 7 again. All of your prayers are appreciated more than you will ever Know. God Bless Us All.

Jess (Trent's mom) is trying to keep her job she carry's the health insurance I take Trent to work with me but that is hard for me and not fair to Trent. If anyone knows of anyone that could help out with daycare until surgery please let me know. (Trent has a sister Tori she would help watch him (she is 7) Trent is not having seizures the medicine is helping he just needs to be watched a little closer than other children. Please pray for that Trent will get through his surgery, that there is someone that can help with daycare temporary, age and most of all that the Lord will comfort Trent and his family and be with the surgeons the guidance. Trent and his family live in Halifax. However, Jess works in Camp Hill at the Rite Aide Corporate Office. She has to be at work by 7:30 and gets off at 4:30
TODAY: Trent Strohecker will be admitted to Hershey Medical Center on Monday for testing before his surgery on Friday. Trent's liver is enlarged and now he must under go more tests. At this time it looks like he will not be able to come home once he is admitted to the hospital as previously thought. Trent and his family will be going to the shore tomorrow until Sunday to have some quality family time. Please pray that they have a safe trip and are blessed with a great time. I just want to add one thing Trent has a 7 year old sister, Tori who has grown up so fast through this, that sometimes we forget she is only 7. I pray that during their family time, the next 4 days, she can be 7 again. All of your prayers are appreciated more than you will ever Know. God Bless Us All.

June 23, 2010 The Perfect Rock!
He is the Rock, His works are perfect!!
Good Salvation Wednesday Morning, my dear brothers and sisters. It is a beautiful day here at the Southern Location of the North Pole. Let me start out with a Praise report this morning... It was about six years ago I met a man, who I have come to know and love. His name is Thomas Mozer and he is a member of our bus museum. I met him when I went to help him after a twister had taken the side of his house off and sent it down the street. Later on because of the storm and his displacement I helped him move his stuff around some and we became good friends. Also because of this storm and his displacement he met a wonderful lady named Diane. Just about two years ago I married my best friend, oh, yes, to Diane of course (stop getting ahead of me). Anyway, last night as I was watching the local news at seven my heart did a flip as I saw the storm, another twister went through his neighborhood. Not nearly as bad as the other and Tom and Diane had just scrub damage. So we praise God that the storm was not as severe and no one in the area was hurt. The storm did hit a camp ground and again no injuries... PRAISE GOD.
And it is Wednesday and the day we pray for the lost and for God to use us to seek them out and bring those lost sheep to the Master Shepherd, the Solid Rock, and the Rock of our Salvation.

Yesterday I talked about where to build and about building on The Solid Rock. Our Lord Jesus, of course, is that Solid Rock. Today I just want to point out a few more places in the Bible where it talks about the Rock. Today God pointed out to me the scripture from Deuteronomy where it is told to us that He is the rock and He is perfect Rock. Do you know someone who is always looking for a rock? I have a friend who is a rock collector, his name is R. J. Harris and you might know him for he is the Morning Mayor on radio WHP 580 out of Harrisburg Pa. R. J. goes on many rock hunts and while he looks for those rocks that are different, and some would say perfect, I know that R. J. already knows the Perfect Rock, our Lord Jesus and has Him in his heart. I collect stuff also, but I never did get into collecting rocks, except for that one in my front yard and the one in my heart. I have already reached down and picked up a stone or rock and thought to myself that that is a pretty one. I should have stuck it in my pocket for my friend R. J.
I saw a movie once where the lady (Lucille Ball) collected rocks and put them in her trailer. The movie, the Long, Long Trailer and it is funny. It is still worth watching. Yes, they pulled a big trailer with (if my memory serves me right) a 1954 Mercury Convertible. So many people take time to look at rocks but don't take time to hold onto them, and a lot of them don't even look at The Perfect Rock and hold onto Him.
There is another part of that scripture out of Deuteronomy that I want to talk just a minute about. It is the part where it tells us that this Perfect Rock, "Does no wrong, upright and just." He is perfect, He does no wrong, He is upright and just. Gosh, do we have a great Rock to not just build our home on and our family on but a great Rock to build our very own lives on.
One more scripture today because it fits in with our Salvation Wednesday prayers...
2 Samuel 22:47 - "The Lord Lives! Praise be to my Rock! Exalted be God, the Rock, my Savior." (NIV)

I wanted to show you this scripture from both the New International Version and also the King James Version of the Bible. Although I like my NIV, and it is a study Bible, sometimes we just need to get those words out of the King James. I can truly say today that Jesus is my Rock and He is the Rock of my Salvation. Is He your Rock of Salvation?? Today as we go to prayer let's renew with The Rock and also ask Him to use us to bring others to The Rock so they also might be saved. By the way, when you are talking with others and talking to them about their salvation, you might have someone say to you, you are judging me, you are saying I am not saved and I am. Folks, don't worry about that, God will sort it out. Just tell those folks that you want to be sure about them. Listen to me on this... If you are talking salvation to someone and they say something to that effect you need to look at it this way... If they are truly saved they would understand why you are asking them. So know your work is going to the right place. I, since being saved, have sat through many calls for salvation and I never get bored for I know why they are done. I have told my flock at the Bridges why it must be done each week for you do not know the hearts of all, so you must look for that one lost sheep. After all, I was once that one lost sheep and a shepherd left their flock for me... They really did.
Dear Father in Heaven, please forgive me of my sins, and please forgive all others who ask, and Lord, use us in Your fields of Harvest this day and each day forward. Help us to walk with You and be like You so we can set a good example for others. Point out the lost for us this day. In the name of Jesus, I pray. And Lord, thanks for taking care of my friends Tom and Diane... Amen.

June 21/22, 2010 Where to build
"The rain came down, the streams rose and the winds blew and beat against that house, yet it did not fail."
Good Morning, my dear brothers and sisters. I am sorry about yesterday, I had an early morning doctors appointment (7:15 AM) and it required me leaving the house by 6:00 AM. Yes, my family doctor starts early in the morning, in fact my next appointment is for 6:30 AM. When I got back home, I was tired so I took care of the animals and then laid down. I had my right knee and my right shoulder injected and was told to rest the day. It is a beautiful morning here at the Southern Location of the North Pole and I do want to remind you of our upcoming picnic. It is on July 3rd at Willow Mill Park, just off route 114 at the Mechanicsburg Exit of Route 81. All food is being furnished, and yes, I am cooking for this family picnic and you indeed are part of our family. You will get to meet some of our children and grandchildren and some of our flock from The Bridges. Menu, oh maybe this will help bring you out.. I am making Hamburg BBQ, Turkey Corn Soup, Hot Dogs with Kraut (or without) and we will have World Famous Allenberry Sticky Buns for you. Please bring your lawn chair... We will have a sound system set up just in case someone stops by to sing. We are going to eat at noon; however, the food will be left in crock pots for those late comers. Dolores and I are getting old and this might be the last time we rent the park for an event like this. Bring your fishing pole (license needed) and also if you have Frisbee golf bring along the discs, as there is a full course there to use.
Ok, today's prayers go to our veterans, and our military, our leaders and all those who help keep us healthy and safe. Also for our schools and all who enter the doors.
Where to Build: Matthew 7:24 - "The rain came down, the streams rose and the winds blew and beat against that house, yet it did not fail, because it had its foundation on the rock." (NIV)
Years ago Dolores and I talked about building a house. We had purchased several that were built, and while they were nice, we just thought that it would be nice to try and build one the way we wanted it done. So what did we do first, well, we prayed about it, yes, believe it or not we talked it over with the Lord. Then we had to look at location for Dolores was working at the United States Army War College in Carlisle, Pa, and I was working for Central Dauphin School District in the Lower Paxton Twp. just East of Harrisburg, Pa. and still had a service station in Penbrook just east of Harrisburg and was on call at night for towing service. Plus we still had our son Matthew at home and wanted him in a good school district and we chose Cumberland Valley. So we set out to find a lot. We also wanted some land and not in a restricted development. I was looking at the land ads in the daily paper one day and there was a lot for sale in Silver Spring Twp. that seemed to meet what we wanted. Two acres of woods, and no land restrictions as far as animals at that time and it fit our other needs as for location.
Now we wanted a few more things, first we wanted a dry basement with a garage door entrance since we did have a couple of motorcycles and we would keep them in the basement garage. This land seemed to be high and dry, but then again we had one house on the mountain near the top that would really take on water when it rained heavy. So we talked to a builder and we wanted a low cost home so we went with S and A builders and I mentioned them for at that time they were one builder who would not open on Sundays. The owners did no business on Sundays as they wanted to follow the Bible. (Since then the ownership changed and so did the no Sunday things.) Anyway, we talked to them about building the house above ground and then bringing in dirt to make it look like the basement was underground. We also put in that dry basement thing. We also put in a heavy foundation for we already knew we needed to build on solid ground. So we built and God is so good, the construction went well, while it was a low cost home it came out real good and to this day has not taken on water in our basement garage, which now, by the way, houses our food pantry.
You see, here is a good example of God showing us how to build so that when we put this lower unit in our home into full time use for God it was ready to go with just shelving and rewiring. We have been through many, many storms and the creek at the bottom of our hill has many times overflowed the banks but we have been safe, and while neighbors have pumped their basements from time to time our house has been solid. Why? Well, let me tell you, it was because we built the house The Solid Rock. Remember back in the beginning of this story about our house which is now our home, we prayed about it? Yes, you see we went to Jesus who is the Solid Rock and we built the place as we thought it should be done according to His Word. We also invited Him in, even while the process of buying the land, and getting it ready was being done. I must say that most often in my younger years I did not always invite Jesus in first and would call on Him to straighten out the messes I would get into, and yes, once in a while, or every now and then I will still mess up and do just that.
Folks, while not all of you might be going to build a new house, it is still not too late to make your house into a home by inviting in the Solid Rock, our Lord Jesus. Now let me talk to you about a church that I was going to when it was decided to build an addition. Plans were made and boy, was this church, Hope United Methodist Church on the Carlisle Pike, Hampton Twp., Mechanicsburg, built on some real solid rock. In fact, blasting was need to put in the foundation of that addition, and I even brought home a very, very big rock and placed it in our front yard. The Rock, we call our Rock of Hope. And let me finish that for once again our Lord Jesus is The Solid Rock and of course Jesus is also our Hope. Yes indeed, our Lord Jesus is The Solid Rock and our Rock of Hope. Now when we were ready to build the church and pour the foundation concrete we took some old Bibles that were well used and just waiting for a recycle event and put them in the corners of the foundation. Oh yes, it was just a symbolic thing we did, but we truly built the church on the Word of God, found in the Bibles.
Our Bibles, our Word of God, tells us in these scriptures that we indeed should build our house, meaning our lives and that of our families, on The Solid Rock, and it goes on to tell us that if we don't it will be like those who built on sand. Listen to these words...
Matthew 7:26 - "But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash." (NIV)
How many times have we watched as storms hit and houses were ruined, but wait just a minute, houses can be rebuilt, and so often people put that house right back on the sand and the rains come again and the streams come up and the house goes down again or goes under water. Is that not the same in our lives sometimes? It seems we do not always invite God into our lives until something goes wrong and then we ask Him to clear up the mess. And yes, He comes in and He works with us and He helps us put things back together again. But then like those who have built their house on sand along a stream of river, the waters come again and again. People, some of them just do not learn, and once Jesus has things under control for us, we do that old walk about and things fall apart again, and this can go on over and over again. Why me, Lord, we sometimes wonder, why did it happen to us again? How much can we take? And we cry out for the Lord. Folks, remember that sometimes bad things do happen to good people, but we still have God, our Solid Rock, to stand on. Things will be much better for us if we start out on The Rock and not just with our house, which He will turn into a home for us, but in all we do. Our jobs, why not build them on The Solid Rock, our friends, why not get them aboard The Solid Rock if they are not already there?
You parents with small children, if you teach your children how to pick friends by picking those who love Jesus, you will be much better off. Let them hang out in church instead of the bowling alley or the street corner. Street corners are different today, we played kick the can, now they shoot at each other. When I look back I think about how many of our circle of friends went to Sunday School, even if the parents did not go, they sent the kids. We had a foot on The Solid Rock.
Where is your house built today? It is not too late to put it on The Solid Rock. Let's ask Him in today, let's put Him in our foundation so that we will be with Him till the end of time.
Dear Father in Heaven, Dear Solid Rock, our Lord and Savior, come in and put me on The Solid Rock, and help me repent from being on the sands that slip and slide. Lord, clean us today of our sins and teach us this day how to tell others about this Man we call Jesus who is The Solid Rock. Save us this day, and Lord, we pray for those on our lists today, from those in our schools and those in our military past and present and the ones in the White House and our other leaders. Lord, help us to teach them about The Solid Rock. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

How many times have we watched as storms hit and houses were ruined, but wait just a minute, houses can be rebuilt, and so often people put that house right back on the sand and the rains come again and the streams come up and the house goes down again or goes under water. Is that not the same in our lives sometimes? It seems we do not always invite God into our lives until something goes wrong and then we ask Him to clear up the mess. And yes, He comes in and He works with us and He helps us put things back together again. But then like those who have built their house on sand along a stream of river, the waters come again and again. People, some of them just do not learn, and once Jesus has things under control for us, we do that old walk about and things fall apart again, and this can go on over and over again. Why me, Lord, we sometimes wonder, why did it happen to us again? How much can we take? And we cry out for the Lord. Folks, remember that sometimes bad things do happen to good people, but we still have God, our Solid Rock, to stand on. Things will be much better for us if we start out on The Rock and not just with our house, which He will turn into a home for us, but in all we do. Our jobs, why not build them on The Solid Rock, our friends, why not get them aboard The Solid Rock if they are not already there?
You parents with small children, if you teach your children how to pick friends by picking those who love Jesus, you will be much better off. Let them hang out in church instead of the bowling alley or the street corner. Street corners are different today, we played kick the can, now they shoot at each other. When I look back I think about how many of our circle of friends went to Sunday School, even if the parents did not go, they sent the kids. We had a foot on The Solid Rock.
Where is your house built today? It is not too late to put it on The Solid Rock. Let's ask Him in today, let's put Him in our foundation so that we will be with Him till the end of time.
Dear Father in Heaven, Dear Solid Rock, our Lord and Savior, come in and put me on The Solid Rock, and help me repent from being on the sands that slip and slide. Lord, clean us today of our sins and teach us this day how to tell others about this Man we call Jesus who is The Solid Rock. Save us this day, and Lord, we pray for those on our lists today, from those in our schools and those in our military past and present and the ones in the White House and our other leaders. Lord, help us to teach them about The Solid Rock. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

June 18, 2010 The 23rd Psalm 5
"Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever."
"I've got a mansion just over the hilltop, in that bright land where we'll never grow old. And someday yonder we will never more wander, but walk on streets that are purest gold."
Praise report on this beautiful Friday morning... I heard from Ron Leidigh last evening. We have been praying for Ron who had stage four cancer and he told me that all is going great with treatments, and that he feels all too good for what he is going through... ALL HONOR AND GLORY TO GOD.
Please keep Ron and Donna in your prayers. Also please keep praying for Dave in his fight with crippling arthritis. Also pray for Pam, Dolores and also me as we head out in concert today at the Bridges... Yes, you are welcome to come... 2.00 PM this afternoon in the Pennsylvania Room.
Today is Friday and the day we pray for all of God's workers who go to the fields of Harvest, as commanded, by our Lord.
The 23rd Psalm (day 5): Psalm 23:6 - "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever." (KJV)
I just cannot help myself when I see this and "I will dwell in the house of the Lord" wanting to sing a few chorus of Mansion Over the Hilltop... So will you just sing or make a joyful noise with me this morning and let's hit this chorus a few times....

A few things come to my mind as I look at this final verse in our lesson today. Did you ever notice how many people, most often on the news, are afraid to say Thank God, will often say "Thank Goodness"? Folks, Goodness comes from God, as all things good come from God. The verse also talks about mercy and that is also a form of love, and of course God is love. Love is why Jesus went to the cross, it is why God sent Jesus to us. Listen to this scripture and you will know it.
John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (KJV)
You can see from this verse in John just how much God loves us all. Enough to give us His Son... And while many a parent has lost a son or daughter in wars keeping our country free, not one sent them to die, all wanted them to come back home.
John 14:1 - "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, trust also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many rooms, if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. (NIV)
The 23 Psalm is comfort and that is why it is used so much at funerals. It has comfort although it also has hope. I know of no better way to wrap up the week on this Psalm but to just say it together...
The 23rd Psalm... The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul; He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Dear Father in Heaven we look forward to the day when we dwell with You in Your house and we know it will be forever. Until then, keep us working for You, helping to bring in the lost. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

June 17, 2010 The 23rd Psalm 4
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for Thou art with me.
Good Family Day morning, what a great morning here at the Southern Location of the North Pole. We had a couple of really heavy rain showers overnight, and this morning is just beautiful. Just like God made all of you, just beautiful. Do you want to see the best of the best of God's work? Do you, just go and stand in front of the mirror and look deep into it. Yes, the beauty you see looking back is what God made, take a good, good look and you will see just a tad of what God looks like, for we are made in His Image.
Today is family day and please today be sure to pray for that family in the White House. The other evening he did talk about praying, well, if we keep praying for him and his family we might just get him and then his family turned to Jesus. And yes, please pray for my family while I pray for yours. And pray for the family of God.
Psalm 23 (Day 4): Psalm 23:4 - Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for Thou art with me, thy rod and they staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. (KJV)
A few years back when Dolores and I rode motorcycle all the time, on one of the bikes I had an artist paint a picture of an open Bible; on it the 23rd Psalm, verse 4, and it read like this: "Yea, though I ride through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil for Thou rides with me." The point I was making then and now it does not make a difference if you are walking, riding a motorcycle, a pedal bike, driving a car, or in your pickup truck or even like my dear friend Ross, on roller skates. God is with you if you just ask Him to be. And you can be in some really bad spots and He will protect you, although we should not do stupid stuff. But when we think of the evil that God protects us from do not just think of high crime areas, or places like that, for sometimes our enemies hide themselves by saying they are our friends.
One of the most important parts of this Psalm in my opinion is the fact that it points out that our Lord is our Shepherd and He will comfort us. It talks about the Shepherd's Rod and Staff, the shepherd's hook, some might call it. Was it just something for the shepherd to lean on, no, it could be used to chase off animals coming after the flock, or it could be used to sort of help along one of the sheep lagging behind. It was a tool of the shepherds. Well, our Lord God, our Great Shepherd, our Good Shepherd, as Jesus even refers to Himself, has many tools that He has offered out to us. Let's just take time to look at a few of these, and let me call them His rod and staff.
Ok, let's start with the Holy Spirit which was left with us when Jesus went on to heaven to prepare a place for us. The 23rd Psalm is mainly the comforter, the Holy Spirit, talking to us. What else? God has given us an open line to talk to Him through His Son Jesus, it is called prayer. So we have God to talk to and we also know, if we listen He will talk to us. And yes, He will comfort us. We have our Bibles, the inspired word of God with many, many, many direct quotes from our Lord Jesus. We have folks today that are anointed and blessed by God to talk to us, to comfort us and yes, to do His work for Him as we are the disciples of this day. We who are working for God are the James, John, Simon and others today. Those to me are just a few examples of our Good Shepherd's rod and staff that comfort us...
Now just a minute on verse 5. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies. What does this say to me? It is very clear that if I love Him, if I live for Him, I will have my needs furnished, every one of my needs will be supplied and it will be done regardless of who is watching or who is trying to destroy me. I don't remember ever, not once that when I was hungry I did not have something to eat. Always, and my parents did not have much money. I can remember being sent with a dime to the corner store and asking for a "dog bone" and the owner, knowing we did not have much money, would let some meat on it. Mom would cook it and cook and and then make soup out of it. As for the dime, I don't remember him ever taking it. Today we have people who have trouble feeding their families who would not cook off a bare bone, but would spend their last dime on a cell phone.
But I must bring this up. A lot of times our Lord uses us to prepare the table for others, like our food pantry. And folks, God has taught most in America well, for we do have a giving nation... we really do, and the more we work for God and for this Nation and know that we would not even have a nation if it were not for God, the better off we will be. One Nation Under God, with a table before us, even when people want to take us apart. Let's give thanks now.
Dear Father in Heaven, Thank You for the table before us that is loaded with food and supplies, and thanks for all the comfort that You have given us. Thanks for Your word, thanks for a prayer line, thanks for the Holy Spirit... In the mighty name of Jesus, I give thanks this day... Amen.

June 15, 2010 The 23rd Psalm 3
He restoreth my soul; He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.

Dear Father in Heaven, Please cleanse me of my sins this day and come into my heart, and please, dear Lord, use me to talk to others about Jesus and about salvation, help me work in the fields of harvest as You, dear Lord, have ordered us to do. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
PRAISE REPORT... Kathleen Sansoni had her first, or first in a series of Chemo yesterday and felt so good after the treatment she went back to work. Please pray for God to heal her cancer along with that of Ron and Allison. Also today please pray for Rob Johnson, who has severe emotional and physical problems that he still suffers after service to our Nation in the Iraq war. Rob is born again and is trusting God to heal him. Welcome him to the line today by praying for him.
The 23rd Psalm (day 3): Psalm 23:3 - He restoreth my soul; He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.
One of the things I am getting from the Lord on this today is the fact that He restores our souls. Meaning to me, maybe we had come to our Lord Jesus but maybe did a "walk about" or a "back slide" or have drifted in some way or another from Him. I think this points out to us if we ask, He will restore us once again. I know for a fact I have had to be restored more than once. In fact, I have been restored a lot. I am so glad our Lord Jesus is not like that car salesman who tells us that if we walk away from the deal he has offered that we will never get the offer again. Indeed not, for our Lord has the offer standing before us all the time. Last week I was told by one of the workers at the Bridges that her 95 year old uncle just came to Jesus for the first time. Wow, nothing like letting things go and taking a chance. Today I feel my soul is restored, I am walking with the Lord and pray I will never turn away again, not even for a minute. However, I find it very comforting to know that He will restore my soul, when I mess up.
Let's look at that last part of that verse... He leadeth me. It seems to me we can be led around by two people, we can be led by Jesus or we can be led by evil, or Satan. Notice that He leads us in the path of righteousness, or in doing right, and He does it for His name's sake. I think we need to praise God for that. And you can be sure that when we let the devil lead us he will be standing ready to take the glory. Let's look at prisons, and while there are many people who have come to Jesus after being in jail, men and women did not get in jail by following Jesus, or at least not in this country and not yet. Those things might change where we are looked up for admitting we love Jesus.
Being a person who was raised by Christian parents but then took a walkabout and came back later in life, I am so glad that Jesus is willing to take a person back, and I am also one to tell you that I feel so much better following the footsteps of Jesus than I did when running with the other guy. Even though I did not break laws that would put me in jail, I was not living to please Jesus. Folks, God does not have us on a leash, He leads us by setting examples and trying to teach us that His way is better. Today, will you come to Jesus and ask Him to lead you in the paths of righteousness and do it for Him, or in His Name's sake?
Dear Father in heaven, we praise You this day, for this day, and we want to give it back to You by following Your lead. Please heal cancers today, and Lord, please heal Rob and others who have served so well for this land. And Lord, help us to appreciate the land You gave us and our Military that helps us keep free... Lord I love You, and I pray in Your name. Amen.

Being a person who was raised by Christian parents but then took a walkabout and came back later in life, I am so glad that Jesus is willing to take a person back, and I am also one to tell you that I feel so much better following the footsteps of Jesus than I did when running with the other guy. Even though I did not break laws that would put me in jail, I was not living to please Jesus. Folks, God does not have us on a leash, He leads us by setting examples and trying to teach us that His way is better. Today, will you come to Jesus and ask Him to lead you in the paths of righteousness and do it for Him, or in His Name's sake?
Dear Father in heaven, we praise You this day, for this day, and we want to give it back to You by following Your lead. Please heal cancers today, and Lord, please heal Rob and others who have served so well for this land. And Lord, help us to appreciate the land You gave us and our Military that helps us keep free... Lord I love You, and I pray in Your name. Amen.

June 15, 2010 The 23rd Psalm (2)
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters.
Good Tuesday morning, my dear brothers and sisters. It is a beautiful morning here at the Southern location of the North Pole. It is also NATIVE AMERICAN DAY here in the USA and we have many NATIVE AMERICANS on this line. The writings from this line are forwarded to the Cherokee Nation line. So Happy day to all of our Native Americans, to Vicki, Lone Wolf, and yes even me. And special thanks to Mr. Doug Boyer for all his work with our Native American brothers and sisters with "Brotherhood Native American Outreach".
It is Tuesday and that means it is Schools Day on the line. Also please keep praying for Allison, Ron, and also for Kathleen Sansoni who all have cancer. Kathleen is starting back in chemo treatments. At the end of the message today is a complete update for the family of Allison who give thanks to God and our prayers. Schools are closed but we still pray for them. Pray that they can get more education, and kids really want to learn.
The 23rd Psalm (2): Psalm 23:2 - He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters. (KJV) (please note that I use the King James Bible for Psalm as I think it flows so much better.)
A shepherd watching over his flock will take them to green pastures to eat and to rest, and the shepherd also wants them beside still waters so that they may get a drink. A shepherd who takes good care of his flock always sees that they are safe from harm and danger, they see that they have food and water and a place to rest and sleep. If they would put the flock beside a raging river the animals being thirsty would still try and get a drink and be washed away. We have seen the power of raging water in recent days and it stops at nothing. As a youngster years and years back when the streets were dirt, and yes, they were dirt as I would go to the farm of my Uncle Lester and Aunt Romaine and my cousins, one of whom is with us on the line... I remember their meadow, while I don't recall any sheep, but do remember that nice meadow and how the creek would flow so slowly going past. Although it could rage sometimes, most often is was nice and still.
Now let's take a look at The Good Shepherd, our Lord Jesus, and how this verse of Psalm 23 reflects on us today. When our Lord God made the heavens and the earth, one of the first things He did before He made Adam and then Eve was to make a garden... It is named Eden, and it had all we would have ever needed. It was a beautiful garden of rest with eats and water and then we messed up. And we all know that story. But let me fast forward to today and I want to look at how we are rested today.
First when we were born we were made that our bodies need to have rest, have sleep, and we also need food and water for our bodies. Parents were equipped by God to reproduce and Mothers were plumbed to feed the babies they had. Most parents had little beds to keep kids in, but I do remember stories of how, when parents traveled back in those days that dresser drawers were used in motels to keep baby safe. Today I would like to thank God for our "green pastures and still waters." Please let me talk about them for I am sure you will find that you have the same things... Yesterday my friends Dave and Tom went with me to the Museum Annex where we had a lot of work to do, putting antique buses away after our big event last week. It was hot, and the buses are not easy to move around. We had a lot of water on hand, but still it was hot. After our mission was done and I headed home, home to my Green Pasture, yes my Green Pasture, which is a really nice house on a nice street with really nice neighbors who put up with me, a back yard farmer, who has a few buses in that back yard. But it is our Green Pasture, and today I want you to look around yourself and see if you do not think that where you live is indeed your green pasture. Yesterday I came home very tired and I do mean tired, I did a few must-do things and got something to eat and then I laid down to rest in my green pasture... A nice bed in an air conditioned bedroom with a few of my herd. Yes, up on the bed came 4 of our 10 dogs who just wanted to be next to me. As I think of the tired sheep laying down on that green grass of the pasture I think of my nice bed. I have many times in my life laid down on a nice green lawn. We would do this as kids, maybe after a pickup game of baseball in the summer we would lay down on a shady spot of the field and take a nap.
And for that still water, back to my Aunt and Uncle's farm, and I remember a pump that was out back where you could hand pump water up and get a drink. And I also remember along my paper routes where their were water hoses hooked up to the outside water pipe and I would stop on a hot day and get a drink out of the hose. To this day when I am outside and working with a hose, I often get a drink from that hose. I have been told it is not good for you. Ok, so you live in a town with water, I have a well... but in the town the water comes through those rusty pipes and into the house plumbing as does my water, but that hose, it could hurt you... Kids would be better off today drinking from a hose than those sodas. Oh and what would happen today if you were to go to a house with a hose and pick it up and get a drink. I have a dear friend who now lives in Florida, we went to school together and she lived with her parents on my paper route. Yes, I used her hose many times to get a drink. Today my still waters comes in most part right out of the pipes in my house. Do you really want to enjoy some still water today? Fill your bathroom with nice warm water and get in it and take a short nap... Today my green pasture and still water, all provided as those things in verse one. "I shall not want."
Now just one more statement to those many pastors on the line... We have flocks and we must be sure that those in our flocks do have green pastures and still waters. What might that mean to us? We need to be sure they have shelter, a bed and food. We need to be sure they have heat and at least a fan for in the summer. We need to work for The Great, The Good Shepherd, our Lord Jesus... Amen.
Dear Father in Heaven, Thanks for my green pasture and my still water, and thanks again for another day of life. Lord, please bless this day our Native Americans all over this country and bless them each day. And Lord, please remind all those people who are born in America that they are today's Native Americans and we should be thankful for what You have given us, a great Nation, Under You and with lots of green pastures and still water. Lord, bless those with cancer and heal them, in the name of Jesus, heal them please. And Lord, bless our schools and all who work with them as they plan next year. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Now an update on Allison
Hello Prayer Warriors,
I am writing with some good news and some not so good news. We are very thankful that her potassium this morning after several boluses through the IV is 3.4!!! That is such a relief. Also her H&H after getting blood is 8.8 and 24.3 which is also better. The platelet transfusion which helps with clotting her blood took her platelets from 7 to 12. So, overall her electrolytes and blood counts are improved but still not where they should be.
The not so good news is that last night Allison spiked a temperature after the second unit of blood so the doctors have decided to do blood cultures to make sure she doesn't have an underlying infection and they are adding Vancomycin to her antibiotics that she is already receiving. She reacted to the Vancomycin last time with a swollen, red face and hands and some shortness of breath. This time they will be giving her Tylenol and Benadryl before they give the medicine hoping to prevent a reaction.
We were also told that she will be getting more platelets today since her platelets only came up to 12. That means more Benadryl which knocks Allie out. This morning Allison was having severe episodes of chest pain, almost like a spasm in her esophagus. The doctors feel her mucositis has slightly worsened because her white blood cell count is still 0.1 and she needs the white blood cells to begin to heal. Usually once her counts start to rise, the improvement is pretty dramatic. But this morning she was in a lot of pain. So, they also decided to increase her pain pump dosage and add a drug called Carafate which is a liquid to help coat and soothe her esophagus. That will start this afternoon.
So, we remain in Hershey and until her white blood cells are able to rebound and her mucositis begins to heal, we must wait. We pray that her bone marrow begins to recover from the chemo and starts to make some cells, red, white, platelets....we want them all!! Thanks for all the prayers and the responses to my previous email letting us know that you are praying. We know this is just another valley we must travel to reach the mountain top. Allison's spirits remain good even though she is quite sedated. She has had some visitors (although we have discouraged too many due to the risk of infection) and she enjoyed that very much!! We are asking for prayers for a quick response by her bone marrow to begin making cells so her mucositis heals and she can get off the antibiotics and go home. Thank you once again!!!
As we ask for you to pray for Allison's complete and total healing, successful and safe surgery and a return to college in the fall, we claim the scripture from Matthew 18:19 that says, "Again, I tell you the truth, if two or more of you on earth agree about whatever you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you." AMEN!! We have faith in this scripture and hold fast to it's promise. Thanks prayer warriors for joining us in this battle!

June 14, 2010 The 23rd Psalm
The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.
Good Monday Morning, my dear brothers and sisters, and welcome to Psalm Twenty Three Week. God, again, has placed on my heart to write about the 23rd Psalm. This is not from any writing before but what God gives me this time around. Also, being Monday, it is the day we pray for our leaders in Washington, DC, and in our State Houses across this great nation UNDER GOD, where we live. It is also the day we pray for our veterans, and please remember today that we have veterans who are 18 years of age and some living right now in veterans hospitals. We also pray this day for our current military, our state and local police, our firefighters and all those who work so hard to keep us safe.
Just this past week our granddaughter Brittany's apartment burnt along with 11 other units. She lost everything she had. She is fine, but two firefighters, ones who get no pay, were injured when the roof fell on them. So please pray for these people who give of their time, their sleep to work to save the lives and property of others. Seems we don't think a lot about things till they strike home or near home.
Psalm 23: 1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. (KJV)
I see the 23 Psalm most often when attending a funeral service or a viewing of a friend or loved one. It is used often as the scripture on the "Service Notice" given at the funeral home. God has had me write about this in the past and I admit it is hard not to look back at what I wrote before, but I feel God wants this fresh. This Psalm, as in many, are so much comfort at a time of loss, and pretty much and you will recall that God left the Holy Spirit with us to be our comforter. As you look at this try and picture most of it as being sent by the Holy Spirit.
In the first verse we see David saying "The Lord is my Shepherd", and I can say that He truly is my Shepherd so I start with a question, is He your Shepherd? I want to go to the back of the book and bring forth another scripture. From Revelation 7...
Revelation 7:17 - For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to the springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. (NIV)
Back in the day a king was often referred to as a shepherd of his people. Today, Pastors, Preachers, Priests, are also referred from time to time as a shepherd as they have been given a flock to take care of by our Lord Jesus, our Great Shepherd. Of course the messages of the 23rd Psalm will be about the Great Shepherd. So let's look at the first verse again and see what The Lord, our Great Shepherd is up to...
Psalm 23:1 - The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want. (KJV)
Here is a scripture where we can see that Jesus is our Shepherd, and I referred to Him as a Great Shepherd, but Jesus refers to Himself as the Good Shepherd.
John 10:11 - "I am the good shepherd, the good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep." (NIV)
John 10:14 - "I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me." (NIV)
I wanted to point this out before we go on to the second part of that first verse. I want you to take a good look at where Jesus tells us that He knows His sheep and His sheep know Him. And I pray as I write this message that all of you are saved, are born again and know our Lord Jesus as their Savior and of course in knowing Him as your Savior you would be indeed one of his flock. It would indeed be sad if when you arrived at the gate upon departing from this earth and you were to get to the Shepherd in the throne room that will lead you to the living water and He, the Good Shepherd, would say, SORRY I don't know you.

Now let us look at the second part of that very first verse. I shall not want. I shall not want back in the day would be taken to mean, I shall not be in need. Every need supplied to us if we truly believe... Yes, He supplies our needs most often through the hands of others. He could still, if He chose to do it, feed us all manna from heaven, and while that would be nice, Lord, my Dear Good Shepherd, please keep it as it is. For I love hamburgers and cheeseburgers and hot dogs and pizza and watermelon, and soups and all kinds of sandwiches, gosh is not our Good Shepherd really good, and He even sends us Ice Cream... Oh, and yes, He furnishes all of our other needs like the air we breath, the clothes we wear, the water we drink, and the roof over our heads and the job we have and car we have to get back and forth to work and back and forth to the doctors and the retirement.
Yes, folks, our Good Shepherd, as Jesus calls Himself, and our Great Shepherd, as I called Him this morning, is one and the same and He is also the GREAT PROVIDER. Think about it, and let's this week get nearer and nearer to the One who takes care of us. And for all the pastors on the line, remember that we have been given a flock and we need to take care of those folks in our flock for we WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE for them when we are judged.
Dear Father in Heaven, Dear Great Shepherd, thanks so much for supplying our every need, for indeed every need is supplied by You and we so often forget to just stop and say thanks. So right now I want to just pause and say thanks. THANK YOU JESUS. And Lord, please look after all those on the prayer list for today, starting in our Nation's capital with our leaders and be sure to look after our military, and those who have given body parts for this Nation and be with the families of those who gave it all. In the name of Jesus I give thanks this day for my needs being supplied. Amen.

It would indeed be sad if when you arrived at the gate upon departing from this earth and you were to get to the Shepherd in the throne room that will lead you to the living water and He, the Good Shepherd, would say, SORRY I don't know you.
Psalm 23:1 - The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want. (KJV)
Now let us look at the second part of that very first verse. I shall not want. I shall not want back in the day would be taken to mean, I shall not be in need. Every need supplied to us if we truly believe... Yes, He supplies our needs most often through the hands of others. He could still, if He chose to do it, feed us all manna from heaven, and while that would be nice, Lord, my Dear Good Shepherd, please keep it as it is. For I love hamburgers and cheeseburgers and hot dogs and pizza and watermelon, and soups and all kinds of sandwiches, gosh is not our Good Shepherd really good, and He even sends us Ice Cream... Oh, and yes, He furnishes all of our other needs like the air we breath, the clothes we wear, the water we drink, and the roof over our heads and the job we have and car we have to get back and forth to work and back and forth to the doctors and the retirement.
Yes, folks, our Good Shepherd, as Jesus calls Himself, and our Great Shepherd, as I called Him this morning, is one and the same and He is also the GREAT PROVIDER. Think about it, and let's this week get nearer and nearer to the One who takes care of us. And for all the pastors on the line, remember that we have been given a flock and we need to take care of those folks in our flock for we WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE for them when we are judged.
Dear Father in Heaven, Dear Great Shepherd, thanks so much for supplying our every need, for indeed every need is supplied by You and we so often forget to just stop and say thanks. So right now I want to just pause and say thanks. THANK YOU JESUS. And Lord, please look after all those on the prayer list for today, starting in our Nation's capital with our leaders and be sure to look after our military, and those who have given body parts for this Nation and be with the families of those who gave it all. In the name of Jesus I give thanks this day for my needs being supplied. Amen.

June 11, 2010 Healing and Anointing 3
By His wounds we are healed! WILL SOMEONE PLEASE YELL OUT "THANK YOU JESUS"!
Good Friday Morning, my dear brothers and sisters, and it just is Friday Morning as it is 8 minutes past midnight. And folks, it is a beauty already. Ah, Friday and the day we pray for all those working in the fields of Harvest for our Lord Jesus. I want to take just a minute to thank all of you who read the messages daily, and all who take the time once in a while to write a little note.
I want to remind you all that on July 3rd we are having a family picnic at Willow Mill Park in Silver Spring Twp. The park is about 2 minutes from route 81 at the Mechanicsburg Exit. You may bring your family and your lawn chair. Food is furnished, burgers, dogs, maybe some soup, and we will be having the famous Allenberry Sticky Buns. We will also have water and sodas to drink. Please note, while the food is furnished, NONE is coming from our food pantry; however, all the leftovers will go into the food pantry. Dolores and I are getting up in years, she is 35 and I am 29 -- ok add 40 to both -- and it could be the last big thing like this we do. I would truly love to meet you...

Healing and Anointing 3: Isaiah 53: 4 - Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed. (KJV)
Brothers and sisters, most often when we talk about healing and we have prayer requests for healing and we pray for healing it is about sickness, broken bones, accidents, cancer, heart problems, kidneys, etc. However, true healing, healing of our soul from our sins and saving our souls is the very bottom line why Jesus died on the cross. While Jesus showed us while living here on earth that He had/has the power of healing us from all of life's boo boos, it is our sin that we need to have healed and I believe healed first. I mean what good is it at all if we are cured from cancer, cured from a bad heart, cured from liver problems, kidney problems, breathing problems and we live to be 110 and then die from old age and go to hell? Makes no sense to me at all, and in fact I will take this daily pain I live with and carry it if that is what God has in mind for me, and I will have patience in my suffering, knowing that I am indeed born again and some sweet day when I pass from this earth I am going to be pain free, live in a mansion and sit at a table to eat with my dear sweet Jesus..
I have sat bedside with a lot of people who were very, very ill and I talked to their loved ones and said, "Do you know if we pray for total healing we are indeed asking Jesus to call the loved one home?" While I have seen God's healing hand heal many people and leave them here, I have also seen when we pray for total healing that within even hours they were with the Lord.
Let me just talk a little about the "gift of healing". You do know that God has given the gift of healing to many people, however, the gift still goes through our Lord Jesus, as all gifts do. Let me borrow the statement from Russ Limbaugh. It is "Talent on Loan from God." I would ask all of you to read from 1 Corinthians 12:1/11 but for today I am just bringing out a few verses.
1 Corinthians 12:7 - Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. 8 To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of HEALING by that one Spirit. (NIV)
Now there are more gifts and each are very, very important and the Bible does use the word given, but if we do not use those gifts we might just lose them and that is why I did quote the term loan.
Now I brought this up because we, (we=you and me) or at least most of us go to doctors and we pray that God uses them to help heal us and make us feel better. And there are those who through the power of the Holy Spirit can lay hands on someone and pray for someone and God heals them. This is why I don't laugh when I see some of those people on Television who pray for people to be healed. Folks, this is in the Bible. And let me tell you that if I did not think that God heals directly, heals through doctors and/or through the hands of those He has trusted with the gift, I would not be preaching about it and then praying for healing and anointing people this week.
In wrapping up this short session on healing, I do want you to remember this... Regardless of what your sickness is, regardless of your pain level, regardless of your problems in life, regardless of what ails you, we have Jesus, a comforter, a healer, and one who has died for us on the cross. So today I want to close up in prayer, and we need to make this an "I" prayer. We need to be asking Jesus each on our own. So just relax, sit back, and pray with me today, and brothers and sisters, I tell you, don't ever, ever give up. Alison, don't give up, Ron, don't give up, Blanch, don't give up. Pastor Charles, don't give up... Sharon and Bob, don't give up, God can have you both to walk again. Vicki, don't you give up... Donna, Todd, Roy, Beverly, don't you guys give up. Dolores, my wonderful wife, don't give up, God can straighten that back again. Tim, don't give up, God will have you preaching in a short time. If you have a wayward child, don't give up... and no, I am not giving up either. We shall all push on, for we have Jesus and HE'S COMING BACK SOON...
Dear Father in Heaven, first today I ask for forgiveness of all my sins, and I ask that You help me repent and help me to stop sinning. I ask that You help me walk with You all the time, and talk with You more and more each day, and I ask that You help me listen when You speak to me. I ask that You heal my mind, my soul and my body for all things even if I don't know they are there. Lord, take away pain, and Lord, help me work more and more for You each day. And Lord, hear the prayers of all who are asking right now from this line, and in the mighty, mighty name of Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit, I ask for healing to all who ask. AMEN.
Now go forth, and expect to see prayers answered, and folks, when someone asks if God heals, please tell them yes, and if they ask have you been healed by God, please say yes, for if you are born again you have been healed of sins. And if someone asks how you know if God heals, tell them first you have faith in it because it is in the Bible and then ask them, who heals a broken bone? Doctors can only set broken bones, they heal by the power of God. Who heals a wound after a doctor stitches it shut? Jesus heals it. Who puts the scab on a brush burn? Jesus... Now go forth and share your blessings and share the love of Jesus and even consider sharing this message... God heals, have faith in Him. God heals and God Saves... Amen. love ya, Pastor Dan.

June 9, 2010 Healing and anointing
Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord.
Good Morning, my dear brothers and sisters, and welcome to SALVATION Wednesday. Yes, our midweek time to pray for the lost and to pray for our Lord to use all of us who are Born Again to help bring in the lost to the feet of Jesus.
Matthew 4:23 - Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness among the people. (NIV)
Hebrews 13:8 - Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. (NIV)
Healing and Anointing: James 5:13 - Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. 14 Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. 16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. (NIV)
So today we are going to talk some about healing. For the last two days we were talking about patience in suffering and I think there are times when all of us who are suffering and have pain do not see any "light at the end of the tunnel" so to speak. So we take a look at scriptures and we find that God does want us to be healed and in fact points to this in many places in the Bible.
First, there are many places in the Bible where we see how Jesus healed the sick, how He opened the blind eyes and even, well, even raised up the dead. So I looked up some scriptures and bring out from Matthew how Jesus went throughout Galilee healing people from all disease and sickness. Please note it tells us, the Bible tells us that it is all diseases and sicknesses. If you have cancer, if you have a bad heart, if you have a failed liver, if your kidneys have gone south, if you have broken bones, a hurt back, bad knees, bad vision, regardless, I say regardless of what ails you, JESUS CAN FIX IT. And His healing also includes healing you of your sins, which is of course the greatest healing of all.
Tomorrow I will point out more scriptures where Jesus is healing folks. I do want to really bring out the fact that Jesus is the same today as He was back in the day when He was walking the earth and healing folks of all those diseases and sicknesses. And do know what? He is going to be the same tomorrow and every tomorrow that He gives us. And again that is in the Bible, the scripture is above.
If we go to the book of James we get instructions on how to pray and to be anointed and confess to each other our sins. Tomorrow we are going to look deeper into the anointing with oil and also search out other places where Jesus has healed, forgiven. We will get a look at how He healed the blind eyes.
Dear Father, thanks for the message today and thanks for healing us. Lord, we know that this occurs to all of us when we indeed pray and have faith and are willing to just stand with You until You heal us and then stand with You even after we are healed. Of course, dear Lord, I think the most important part of our being healed by You is that our sins are healed. Please help us this day to bring in the lost to You for healing of sins and for them to find You as their personal Savior. I love You, Lord, and I pray that all on this line do also. So I pray today for healing for all and I pray it in faith and that it happens soon. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

June 8,2010 Patience in Suffering 2
Don't grumble against each other, brothers, or you will be judged. The Judge is standing at the door!
Good Morning, my dear brothers and sisters. What a great morning this morning, and yes, I say it each day, for each day we are given by our Lord Jesus is indeed great. I do wish that you could all enjoy the weather we are having this morning here at the Southern Location of the North Pole... It is picture perfect. Last evening Dolores and I went to The Bridges for their annual strawberry fest. What a great night, even Elvis came and sang (ok, an Elvis singer with special friends), and would you believe he gave up one of his numbers for me to sing. So I sang the only non-gospel song that I sing, "Falling in Love with You".
Schools day, schools day... Yes, another Tuesday and another day we pray for our schools and all who enter the doors. Please do not stop praying for our schools when they get out for the summer. Also for the mother we prayed for yesterday, her name is Pearl Borst, the mother of Donna, Beverly, Todd and Roy. I met this family a few years back when my friend Tom Mozer took me to purchase a bus from them. It was the last bus from their family tour service, Hello-Hello Tours out of Whitehall, Pennsylvania. Anyway, please pray for this family.
Also prayers today for Kathleen Sansoni as she goes for a checkup on her cancer. She has had a lot of pain and is having trouble breathing. Please also pray for husband Tom.

I have told you many, many times that when God gives me messages there are many days that I think He is just giving them to me, about me. Oh yes, I can grumble about others, and lately I have found myself doing just that, and a few weeks back I made God a promise that I am going to try and do better on this and work harder at it. Do you know that when we grumble about others, more than likely the others are just grumbling about us. Sometimes, we might be able to just call it gossip, plain and simple gossip. Folks, I think all who get involved in these things need to turn to the Lord even stronger and give it to Him. We would not think about grumbling ABOUT the Lord, or do some people? I know there is a lot of grumbling that goes on in churches, oh yes, it does.
Today I want to take a look at some other things we grumble about. Some of us carry a lot of pain, and that again is one of the reasons that God pointed me to patience in suffering. Sometimes I complain all too much about pain, hey, it was not my fault, I was stopped in traffic, I was run over, so why can't I complain once in a while, well let me tell you, the main reason I and others who have pain need to look at their pain is this... Did Jesus complain when He was hanging on the cross and going through all that pain for me and of course all of you? Did He not tell us to unload on Him and give our burdens over for Him to carry? Does He not provide all of our needs and so much more?
A few days ago I got to work alongside of one of my former bus drivers, not once did he complain about what life has given to him. He loves the Lord, he is about 47 and he has had to retire because of a crippling arthritis and not once did he complain. A few years ago a young lad whose name fails me right now came down with an infection. To give him life his limbs had to be taken, hands, one foot, if I remember right. After long and painful rehab this young man sits on the bench of his high school football team and when they score he runs the field on the sideline. I have seen blind children, I have seen crippled children, I have seen others who are just children who suffer so much. Excuse me, Lord, when I grumble and complain, excuse me, and Lord, teach me patience in my suffering. Help us all remember that when Jesus died on the cross He took our sins to the cross with Him. After doing this we still go on sinning and what do you think that the greatest pain is that Jesus took for us? What was that great pain? Maybe all the walking He did to spread the message, maybe it was the spitting on Him as He would preach, or when He was on the way to the cross. Maybe it was the nails being driven in His hands and feet, or maybe the thorns in the head or the knife in His side... Or could the greatest pain that Jesus suffered and still suffers be that of each sin we do? I want you to think about something, parents, what really hurts you the most? Is it not when you see your children hurting, or when you must punish them? Do you think that Jesus wants to punish us for when we break the rules, do you think Jesus is happy when He sees us breaking His commandments and laws? Do you think we please Jesus when we complain? We complain about the weather, too hot, too cold, it's raining, oh, it is snowing, and so it goes. Jesus knows what we need and sends it.
Today let's do our very best to stop complaining, stop grumbling and move on, get nearer and nearer to Jesus, and distance ourselves from the gossip... can anyone say AMEN? Or should I say, will anyone say AMEN.
Dear Father in Heaven, please forgive us when we grumble, when we fall and when we fail You. Lord, help us to have patience in our suffering and pain, for someday, Lord, we will be home with You and be pain free. Lord, please heal Pearl and Kathleen, and Lord, thanks for taking care of Pamela as she finished up her treatments. Lord, be in our schools, around our schools, in teacher meetings, in board meetings, on playing fields, in the classrooms, in the office, in the buses. Lord, be with them. And Lord, if You get a chance will You please work on our President and Vice President so they can speak without having the need to have words bleeped out on the news. Lord, I pray that our leaders will follow Your example, and Lord, I pray that same thing for myself... In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Good Morning, my dear brothers and sisters. What a great morning this morning, and yes, I say it each day, for each day we are given by our Lord Jesus is indeed great. I do wish that you could all enjoy the weather we are having this morning here at the Southern Location of the North Pole... It is picture perfect. Last evening Dolores and I went to The Bridges for their annual strawberry fest. What a great night, even Elvis came and sang (ok, an Elvis singer with special friends), and would you believe he gave up one of his numbers for me to sing. So I sang the only non-gospel song that I sing, "Falling in Love with You".
Schools day, schools day... Yes, another Tuesday and another day we pray for our schools and all who enter the doors. Please do not stop praying for our schools when they get out for the summer. Also for the mother we prayed for yesterday, her name is Pearl Borst, the mother of Donna, Beverly, Todd and Roy. I met this family a few years back when my friend Tom Mozer took me to purchase a bus from them. It was the last bus from their family tour service, Hello-Hello Tours out of Whitehall, Pennsylvania. Anyway, please pray for this family.
Also prayers today for Kathleen Sansoni as she goes for a checkup on her cancer. She has had a lot of pain and is having trouble breathing. Please also pray for husband Tom.

I have told you many, many times that when God gives me messages there are many days that I think He is just giving them to me, about me. Oh yes, I can grumble about others, and lately I have found myself doing just that, and a few weeks back I made God a promise that I am going to try and do better on this and work harder at it. Do you know that when we grumble about others, more than likely the others are just grumbling about us. Sometimes, we might be able to just call it gossip, plain and simple gossip. Folks, I think all who get involved in these things need to turn to the Lord even stronger and give it to Him. We would not think about grumbling ABOUT the Lord, or do some people? I know there is a lot of grumbling that goes on in churches, oh yes, it does.
Today I want to take a look at some other things we grumble about. Some of us carry a lot of pain, and that again is one of the reasons that God pointed me to patience in suffering. Sometimes I complain all too much about pain, hey, it was not my fault, I was stopped in traffic, I was run over, so why can't I complain once in a while, well let me tell you, the main reason I and others who have pain need to look at their pain is this... Did Jesus complain when He was hanging on the cross and going through all that pain for me and of course all of you? Did He not tell us to unload on Him and give our burdens over for Him to carry? Does He not provide all of our needs and so much more?
A few days ago I got to work alongside of one of my former bus drivers, not once did he complain about what life has given to him. He loves the Lord, he is about 47 and he has had to retire because of a crippling arthritis and not once did he complain. A few years ago a young lad whose name fails me right now came down with an infection. To give him life his limbs had to be taken, hands, one foot, if I remember right. After long and painful rehab this young man sits on the bench of his high school football team and when they score he runs the field on the sideline. I have seen blind children, I have seen crippled children, I have seen others who are just children who suffer so much. Excuse me, Lord, when I grumble and complain, excuse me, and Lord, teach me patience in my suffering. Help us all remember that when Jesus died on the cross He took our sins to the cross with Him. After doing this we still go on sinning and what do you think that the greatest pain is that Jesus took for us? What was that great pain? Maybe all the walking He did to spread the message, maybe it was the spitting on Him as He would preach, or when He was on the way to the cross. Maybe it was the nails being driven in His hands and feet, or maybe the thorns in the head or the knife in His side... Or could the greatest pain that Jesus suffered and still suffers be that of each sin we do? I want you to think about something, parents, what really hurts you the most? Is it not when you see your children hurting, or when you must punish them? Do you think that Jesus wants to punish us for when we break the rules, do you think Jesus is happy when He sees us breaking His commandments and laws? Do you think we please Jesus when we complain? We complain about the weather, too hot, too cold, it's raining, oh, it is snowing, and so it goes. Jesus knows what we need and sends it.
