Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord He is God; it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise; be thankful unto Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endureth to all generations.
Good Friday Morning, my dear brothers and sisters. The wind is howling here at the Southern Location of the North Pole but most of the snow, so far, has missed us. Just a dusting, but the roads are slick from the blowing of the snow across the highways. Drivers, do not let that fool you. Snow blowing across the road will get wet from the heat of tires and then quick freeze and will form that dreaded "Black Ice". Here is your tip... EASY - "Go easy on the gas, go easy on the brakes, go easy on the steering" and Please HANG UP TO DRIVE!!!!!
Friday is the day we feature prayers for those working in the fields of Harvest for our Lord Jesus. Today please as we pray for them, ask God to speak to Tim Beitzel, and to open doors for him as his work for Jesus is changing directions. Tim is a great man of God and is going deeper and deeper into his work. Go get'em, Tim, God is walking ahead of you, beside you, and behind you and we who know you, know He lives in your heart... You are fully protected. God bless you, my brother.
Rejoice and Sing! Psalm 100:1 - Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. 2 Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing. 3 Know ye that the Lord He is God; it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. 4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise; be thankful unto Him, and bless His name. 5 For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endureth to all generations. (KJV)
"Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine! Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine! Heir of salvation, purchase of God. Born of His Spirit, WASHED in His blood." "This is my story, this is my song. Praising my Saviour all the day long: This is my story, this is my song, Praising my Saviour all the day Long."
Tired of the ho-hum of this winter, we need to rejoice, for spring is coming. Have you had it up to the ears with the snow, and I do mean up to the ears in some cases. We need to be thankful and rejoice for this snow is going to melt into the ground and be the water in the wells and in the lakes and streams. God is in control and sometimes it takes things like a bad winter to bring on jobs. Plow people working overtime and when the spring breaks so will the construction, etc. Folks and I know some of you are out of work and have been for a long time while others just lost their jobs. Try and keep that chin up and start rejoicing in the Lord. Count the days you have had work in your life and not the days you are laid off. If you truly love the Lord, and I am talking truly love the Lord, look for that next job to be much better than the last one. Maybe not in money but maybe in rewards for God. I could tell you a long story about how I was blessed with a service station, selling gas and having a great repair business and at the same time working for a school district running their very large fleet of buses... Then on Christmas Eve 1990 when I was doing Santa a car hit me in the rear while I was stopped at a traffic light. I lay on the street not knowing this would be life changing. It cost me my service station and then my school job... BUT THINGS ARE BETTER NOW. And I just work for God... No salary, all for free and God provides. I had learned to give to God first and He would take care of us if we just loved and trusted. Has it always been easy? NO, but it is better, and now we are helping others. Well, praise the Lord, for that accident, and even for the pain that is so bad some days I can hardly move. I praise Him each day for when I was on the street that day I heard Him speak to me. You have been following me part time, now you are mine full time. Things are not always easy, but with God they are always good and they are going to get better, and better and till we get home and then it will be the best ever. Someone shout AMEN as we hit it again... Same song, second verse...
"Perfect submission, perfect delight. Visions of rapture now burst on my sight: Angels descending bring from above Echoes of mercy, whispers of love." "This is my story, this is my song. Praising my Saviour all the day long: This is my story, this is my song, Praising my Saviour all the day Long."
Zephaniah 3:17 - The Lord your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will REJOICE OVER YOU WITH SINGING. (NIV)
Dear Father in Heaven, we rejoice in You this day as You also according to Your word rejoice over us with singing. Lord, how we love You this day and how I pray today for people to just rejoice in what they have and not think about what they don't. Lord, help us put feet on prayers and help feed the poorer and hungry, and help located those jobs for those needing work. Lord, we love Your "Blessed Assurance" we are singing about today. Thanks for that assurance. Lord, bless all those working for you, be it full time or part time, and Lord, bless and bless and bless my brother Timothy as he changes gears in his drive for love for You. And Lord, Your healing hand on our flock is appreciated, and Lord, on our son Matthew. In the name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.
Now we have another verse of this song before we part out for today...
"Perfect Submission, all is at rest, I in my Saviour am happy and BLEST. Watching and waiting, looking above, filled with His goodness, lost in His love." "This is my story, this is my song. Praising my Saviour all the day long: This is my story, this is my song, Praising my Saviour all the day Long."
Yes, "This is my story, this is my song. Praising my Saviour all the day long: This is my story, this is my song, Praising my Saviour all the day Long."
Go forth sharing those blessings and singing as you go. Gosh, I love Jesus, and how I love you also. Pastor Dan, One more time...
"This is my story, this is my song. Praising my Saviour all the day long: This is my story, this is my song, Praising my Saviour all the day Long." yes, oh yes.. "This is my story, this is my song. Praising my Saviour all the day long: This is my story, this is my song, Praising my Saviour all the day Long."
