February 25, 2010 REJOICE!

Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord He is God; it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise; be thankful unto Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endureth to all generations.

"This is the day, this is the day, this is the day that the Lord has made, that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice, let us rejoice and be glad in it, and be glad in it. This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. This is the day, this is the day that the Lord has made."

Good, good morning, my dear brothers and sisters. It is a beautiful morning here at the Southern location of the North Pole. A light snow is falling and the trees are covered with a light coating. The snow is not laying on the drive way, but the dirty snow is covering. We are so blessed and we should rejoice and be glad in it. Let's sing that song again, let me get it into your mind and you can sing it all day. Today is family day, so get your family singing along... today LET'S REJOICE.

"This is the day, this is the day, this is the day that the Lord has made, that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice, let us rejoice and be glad in it, and be glad in it.. This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. This is the day, this is the day that the Lord has made."

February 25, 2010 Rejoice! Deuteronomy 12:7 - There, in the presence of the Lord your God, you and your families shall eat and shall rejoice in everything you have put your hand to, because the Lord you God has blessed you." (NIV)

Are you tired, sick and tired of this winter weather? Have you been feeling bad because of a cold that just will not go away? Have you received your utility bills? REJOICE, my dear brothers and sisters... I say rejoice. I am telling you we can boost our outlook and we will feel better if we just rejoice in what we have and start singing to the Lord. The Bible tells us that we should rejoice because the Lord has blessed us, and He really has. Look around you and I mean this, look around you and then think back, way back and think of your grandparents and see what they had. In a cold winter they would cut the ice from a creek and put it in an ice house so to have the ice for summer. In the summer they would lay in food and wood for the winter. They would cook and heat with a wood stove and in the summer the wood stove would be hot in the kitchen and there was no AC, they would just put up the windows. In the winter that wood stove in the kitchen plus maybe a wood stove in the living room would be heating the whole house. And you would go out and "pump" up the water with a hand pump, and yes, you would go out in the cold to go "Potty" and it was cold in those outhouses because that cold air would come right up through the seat area. And folks, they would read the Bible by the light of candles or oil lamps. And they would rejoice and be glad in it...

For us, well we just flip a switch and things come on. We have food that someone else puts in a can or freezer packs. We don't milk the cow, someone else does it. Folks. God provided back then and He provides today, and we need to rejoice. We need to rejoice and be happy about it. We need to be happy each day that God gives up... we need to be happy...

I don't know about you, but I am rejoicing today. I could look at all that is wrong that is around me, and let it get me down, and folks,, I was doing some of that this past week, and I REFUSE to let Satan get me down. I love Jesus and I am going to just rejoice in this day... In fact hit it again...

At The Bridges we have had six people pass in the last few weeks and two more are really bad.
But I am going to rejoice, for those that were in front of me heard about Jesus and sang His songs and rejoiced, and although I was bedside with most of them at the end and asked them point blank, do you have Jesus in your heart... REJOICE, FOLKS, even in a time of death if we know the Lord... Rejoice if you don't feel good today for God is with you even when you hurt. Rejoice today for this one final reason I am going to give you, and I told you this yesterday... Rejoice, for WE are not the one who is nailed to the cross... JESUS TOOK OUR PLACE!! Rejoice, for He is Alive... come on one more time...

Dear Lord thanks for this day and blessings it. In the name of Jesus, Amen. Now Hit it again...

Have a blessed day, a really blessed day and share those blessings. Love ya, Pastor Dan.
