Salvation Wednesday 9/9/15 Lost (2)

Dear Father in Heaven: Thank You for hearing our prayers. Thank You for loving us so much You gave us Jesus to die for us and The Holy Spirit to comfort us and live in us. Thanks for sending Missy home to us. All honor and glory to You, Lord. Please forgive me when I mess up, and please know I do love You with all my heart. Please head up this home always. Please  help me today, on this our Salvation Wednesday, with another message that can only come from You, and then please help me to get it dispatched. In the loving Name of Jesus, I give thanks and pray. Amen.

Dear brothers and sisters, after writing last evening, we again searched our home, looking for Missy with a flashlight because her eyes glow in the light pointed at her. She was not found and I suspected she might have been under that old step that I cannot get to. We headed to bed, Dolores with Angel, our female Yorkshire rescue and me with Martin Martin Jr., our white Yorkshire, and Marvin, our other really big house cat. About 12:30 AM I woke up (potty time for an old guy) and with all the other animals secured, I went to the back door where our house cats can go into the play yard and opened the door and in walked Missy! I shouted PRAISE THE LORD, and I could hear Dolores say praise God, she is home safe. Like my example from yesterday, a shepherd never stops looking for one of his lost sheep or in this case a lost cat. Thanks for all the notes I received on this writing. I really appreciate those notes.

Please remember it is Salvation Wednesday on this line, so please pray for the lost and try even harder to lead people to the Lord. Now to the message:

Salvation Wednesday: September 9, 2015: Lost (Day Two)

Jeremiah 50:6 - "My people have been lost sheep; their shepherds have led them astray and caused them to roam on the mountains. They wandered over the mountain and hill and forgot their own resting place. 7 Whoever found them devoured them; their enemies said, 'We are not guilty for they sinned against the Lord, their true pasture, the Lord, the hope of their fathers.'" (NIV)

Dear brothers and sisters, with a special attention to all pastors who follow this line, which of course includes me. According to the scriptures we who have been assigned a flock by God and/or His church are going to be held accountable for that flock. Again God has trusted us with His sheep, the people of His pastures, and we need to really work at keeping them near to Jesus even as we welcome in more and more sheep to the flock. While I do not want to name any different religions, there are some that are leading their flocks in the wrong direction. One I will mention is the Unitarian Church. It seems that anything is okay with them.

Brothers and sisters, if your pastors are not preaching SALVATION, get up and run, get out of that church and find one that teaches what happened on the cross and why it happened. One that teaches the forgiveness of sins and believes everything in the Bible. In some denominations, one church will differ from another, and the pastor will lead the flock. Again, be sure the pastor is leading you toward the cross and not away from it. The best way to be sure is to CARRY YOUR BIBLE and follow that and cross-check your pastor with The Word of God. When the shepherd lets his flock wander away, this is what happens. "Whoever found them devoured them." That is from Jeremiah 50:7 and if we were talking real sheep, the other animals would get them and eat them, as sheep are defenseless. When we wander away from our Shepherd, we are also defenseless, and Satan and his evil workers will "eat us up."

As earthly shepherds we need to protect our flock from Satan and the only way to keep evil from "eating them up" is to teach them the Word of God so they have the protection of our GREAT SHEPHERD, our LORD JESUS CHRIST. Amen.

Pastors, will you pray this with me today?

Dear Father in Heaven, please help me as a pastor not to lead my flock away. I want to always work for You and be leading the flock in and not drive them away. Help me with that, dear Lord. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

Now brothers and sisters, it is Salvation Wednesday and I must take this time to lead all who might be lost to come to Christ. This according to the following scripture.

Romans 10:9/10 -  That if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. (NIV)

I cannot pray this one for you, only lead you. Please come to Christ, or come back to Christ or just renew in Christ today.

Dear Father in Heaven, according to Your very own Word, I want to confess to You my love and my sins. I do believe in Jesus and that You, Father, raised Him from the dead. I believe it and have faith in You. Please place my name in the Lamb's Book of Life today and reserve my place in Heaven. I love You, Lord, and pray in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

Please keep praying for America as we in two days are looking at another anniversary of 9/11/2001. Pray, warriors, pray!!

Now go forth and serve Jesus. Love ya.

Pastor Dan
