Dear Father in Heaven, Thanks for another night, and Father, thanks for watching over all on this line and who use the line. Thanks for looking after Curtis, and Lord, please look after and take care of Grant. Father in Heaven, thanks for helping us with Marvin, and please heal him, please, Lord. Father in Heaven, please help me with the message today, I still do not know, Lord, what happened to the one I wrote yesterday. Please protect this. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
Dear brothers and sisters, it is Thursday and a beautiful day here at the Southern Location of the North Pole. I did write a message Wednesday (yesterday) in the evening, and it took a long time. I have no idea what happened to it. I hit the send key and it went, but I never got my copy so it must be out there in computer land someplace. Please keep praying for Curtis and also for Grant. Also pray for Marvin. Marvin is my personal "cat" and he is big and beautiful. He got sick yesterday and is in the animal hospital in Carlisle. My dear cat is named after Marvin "Neil" Enloe, singer/songwriter. Let me get to the message, Pick A Side Day 2.
On Tuesday I asked the question as I closed out for the day, "Is there anything the same about Heaven and Hell?" The answer is yes, there is, and it is they both are eternal, or forever. Please check out in the scriptures below, taken from the scriptures used on Tuesday. Please check it out right below.
Heaven
John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." (NIV)
Hell
2 Thessalonians 1:9 - They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the majesty of His power. (NIV)
Again today I want to quote my dear friend Sterling who states often, "You win some and you lose some and the rest come out even." Now folks, when it comes to Heaven or Hell, there is no middle ground. You either make Jesus your Savior and go to Heaven or you don't take Jesus as your Savior and you go to that old lake of fire, Hell. The choice is up to us. Now who did I say needs Jesus? Only those wanting to go to Heaven and of course have some great benefits along the way. Check these scriptures about sin.
Romans 5:12 - Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned. (NIV)
Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (NIV)
Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (NIV)
So now we know for a fact that there is no middle ground, you cannot sit on the fence and get into Heaven. You can sit on the fence and get into Hell. In life, in fact every day of our lives we make choices, some are very important, some are not, and a lot of them are things you just do automatically. Let's look at a few of each today.
Just a few of the important choices that we make daily. Number one I think it, are we going to walk with God today, and I pray you do it each day and I pray you talk often to Him. I pray also that you listen for Him to talk to you. You do know that although you confess to loving Him, you on your own can fall from grace. Other choices that you make daily concern taking care of others, taking care of pets, taking care of your loved ones and also yourself.
Here are a few choices that you make often but maybe not everyday. Yo look over your bills and decide which to pay and when. You know you must eat, each day you need to make a choice what you are going to eat.
Here are a few you might make weekly. They deal with going to church or going to work. With kids it might be going to school. Yes, we have choices, and we need to make all of them, good choices.
We also have choices that we make without thinking, like going to the potty. God wakes us in the middle of the night to go to the potty, and during the day He reminds us also when it is time to go. We make choices when we drive, if we speed we "get to pay the man." Choices, choices, choices, and now I am telling you, you need to make a choice about where you want to spend forever time after you pass from this world, after you have bought the farm, kicked the old bucket.
Tomorrow, on Friday, a day we call Salvation Friday, I am going to give you some scriptures that will help you make the most important choice of all time ... Picking Heaven or Hell. While I pray most on this line are saved, I know that some might not be. So please come back tomorrow and let's get together and make a good choice and set our plans down for sure on getting into Heaven.
Dear Father in Heaven, thanks for providing for us a way to get into Heaven to be with You forever and ever after we depart from here. I love You, Jesus. And I pray in Your Name. Amen.
Now go forth and share your blessings, and please be back tomorrow when we again make some choices. I love ya ... pass it on.
