Tuesday 4/30/13 God Still Heals (2)

Dear Father in Heaven, thanks for another day of life, and thanks for watching over all of us during the night.  Please, dear Lord, be in Harrisburg, PA and help stop people from shooting one another, help put crime to a halt.  Help us to walk in step with You in all we do, thanks for watching over this line, thanks for taking care of our ministry team and their families, and now, Lord, help me, please, with a message.  I love You, Lord.  In Jesus' Name, I pray.  Amen.

Good Morning, my dear brothers and sisters.  It is a nice overcast morning here at the Southern Location of the North Pole.  Do you have aches and pains, do you walk each step in pain and often wonder how you made it through the day?  Brothers and sisters, I can relate to the pain part, and when the pain gets at its worst, I think about how much pain Jesus endured for me and my sins.  I mean if we are counting sins as nails driven into Him, I have driven in many more than my share for a lack of another way to put it.  My goal, starting today, is to do better for Jesus than I did the day before.  In other words, each day I want to be nearer and nearer to Him until the day I get called home or He returns for us.  How about you, will you make a pledge to God, not to me, but to God, to walk each day nearer and nearer to Him?  Will you join with me in this one?  We could call ourselves the walking nearer to God group.  Okay, let me get to the message.  I love you folks.

God Still Heals (Day 2).

2 Chronicles 2:14 - If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.  (NIV)

I really mean this, as I write about healing this week and will be preaching/teaching on it on Sunday morning at The Bridges, it gives me more encouragement that God Still Heals regardless of age.  I was asked some time back, do you really pray for healing at The Bridge?  The person thought that maybe God does not work on seniors, and folks, that is far from the truth.  God heals even our seniors, so folks, if you have senior parents, pray for them, keep them lifted in prayer.  When I anoint seniors at The Bridges and some at senior homes where we sing, I do it in faith that God will heal them.  I cannot find anyplace in the Bible where it tells us that we should not pray for our senior citizens.  I find no place where God tells me not to pray for those folks are toast.  In fact, I truly believe that is why Carry The Light Ministries was sent into retirement and nursing homes to give the Word.  Maybe a last chance for people to hear the complete truth, and folks, part of the complete truth is GOD STILL HEALS AND GOD STILL LOVES TO HEAL SENIORS.  And in fact God has blessed many seniors with children at the ripe age of 100 and some a whole lot older.  So for the aging readers on this line ... GOD LOVES YOU AND HAVE FAITH GOD WILL HEAL YOU, and please note I did not say have faith God might heal you, I said have faith GOD WILL HEAL  YOU.  Don't you ever give up and don't ever stop praying.  Please remember our lesson from yesterday.  Go back and review it.

Now let's look at some scripture for today, and brothers and sisters, I love this scripture.

2 Chronicles 2:14 - If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.  (NIV)

Does osur land need healed?  Does the United States of America need healed?  Do we need forgiven?  Folks, I invite you right now to pick up another book other than your Bible.  I invite you to pick up your phone book and go to the yellow pages and go to the A's and look at what is the very first thing in your phone book ... ABORTION!  It is bad enough that we have doctors (if you call them that) that want to kill babies, they advertise it in the papers and phone book.  On their big fancy cars they should have those name plates that say "I KILL" or something like that.  It makes me sick to my stomach when I see ads for killing.  Call Doctor Hit Man and his nurse, nursey kills.  Folks,  our land needs healed and folks, we find it in the Bible that God will not just heal us but He will also heal our country, but folks, as like us, if we want to be healed we need to repent, and the very first place to start in my opinion would be to stop killing off our kids. Our NATION NEEDS TO REPENT.  All of us today, please pray for abortion to be stopped.  Now slowed down but stopped.

Now let me move on with some other scriptures on Healing ...

Psalm 41:4 - "O Lord, have mercy on me; heal me, for I have sinned against you."  (NIV)

Here we once again see how important it is to ask God to heal us from our sins.  I want to ask you this question, have you ever done something wrong, a sin, that has haunted you, it would keep you lying awake at night or have you looking over your shoulder in the daytime.  I am not talking about crime but it could be that, I never did that.  But other things, you might have done, and I am talking sins against our Lord God.  You get that guilt trip and I think there is no one better than God to put me on a guilt trip.  I don't know if He does it on purpose, but I would think so.  He loves us so much and wants us to come to Him to be forgiven that He "hangs a guilt trip on us when we sin."  Did you ever have that happen to you?  It might have been something like this.  You are out on the road, you are doing your bet walking in the light of Jesus, you might have a "fish emblem" on the back of your car or an "I love Jesus" bumper sticker.

Then it happens, someone cuts you off and your old ways come back, you push the gas pedal down and pull up beside this guy and you, and you "pop him the bird."  You pull back all those fingers except that one in the middle and you let him have it.  Or you shake your fist at him and mouth out those two words, the first one being the "F" word and the last one spelled "you".  Not only did we sin against God, then we pulled ahead and this road rager got to see your bumper sticker and now Jesus gets a bad name along with all other Christians.  Yes, it is hard when someone cuts you off to keep your cool, but folks, that is the time to pray and pray right away.  Folks, it is easy to get caught up in the moment, the moment of anger, so we need to turn to God and be healed, healed from the anger that might just happen once in awhile, but nevertheless, healed from it.  So remember this Psalm and maybe you could use it in your prayers.  Let's pray it together right now.  Just these short words for our short temper today.

"O Lord, have mercy on me; heal me, for I have sinned against you."

Let's do one more scripture today.

Jeremiah 17:14 - Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed;  Save me and I will be saved for you are the one I praise.  (NIV)

Here we find Jeremiah asking God to heal him and saying that if God heals him, he really will be healed.  Brothers and sisters, what God is pointing out to me is this, God does work through the hands of doctors and others, but until you oh ave the healing of God, you are not completely healed.

Doctors, nurses, and others in he medical field cannot now, nor could they ever heal you completely.  If they work through God, those same doctors will give God the glory, they will not keep it for themselves.  We need to be the same way.  I have anointed my doctors with oil and prayed for them, I am praying through these doctors' hands, God will heal people.

And folks, just a short review from last week. Here, Jeremiah tells God, save me and I will be saved. Folks, Jesus is the one and only way to heaven, and the one and only one who can save us. We studied it all last week.  And God is the only one to praise.  If you are going to a good church with a good pastor, you will find lots of messages on salvation and you will find that Pastor always gives the glory to God for all things.  If your Pastor is not giving the praise to God and is not preaching 100% from the Word of God in the Bible ... FIND ANOTHER CHURCH!  And the pastors on this line will say this ... AMEN ... Your pastors can anoint you in oil, and I am doing that at The Bridges often.  And God will get all the glory, all of it.  None for me, none for Dolores who will be at the piano.

Praise You, Jesus, praise You and thank You for being a wonderful, perfect God who loves us enough to be put to death on the cross for us.  Who will heal us today in Your time according to Your will and we praise You for that.  I love You, Lord, I love You very, very much.  Thank You and praise You for the message today, and Lord, we ask You, we ask You to stop this thing called abortion that I call murder of Your children.  Lord, if needed, strike down all those who want to kill those unborn babies.  Lord, we cannot strike them down, but we know You can, and Lord, I have never prayed for anything like this in my life, but Lord, this abortion, this murder needs to stop.  Lord, help us get it done, or just end it on Your own.  Strike those doctors down, humble them to their knees and let them come to You to be saved.  Strike them down and give them time to come to You.  By striking them down, Lord, I am not asking You to kill them,  no, because I am also a sinner saved only by Your grace, and I know years ago You humbled me.  So Lord, please strike them down and bring them to You, and You may use me to help, just tell me how.  In the name of Jesus, I pray.  Amen.

Now go forth enjoying being saved, enjoying being a Christian and sharing your blessings, and remember, do not get so upset you forget you are a servant of God.  Keep that finger in place ... Amen ... Love ya.  Pass it on.

Monday 4/28/13 God Still Heals (1)

Dear Father in Heaven, I love You and I love Jesus and also I love the Holy Spirit, and Lord, I am trying my best to love each person here on earth even though I hate some of the things they do or stand for.  Lord, forgive me, please, when I fail You by sinning and even not following all of Your commands.  Lord, help me get better in all things that I do, and Lord, I do not want to do anything anymore that does  not point people to You.  In other words, dear Father in Heaven, I want to serve You with each breath I have.  I need Your help, Lord, to get this done.  In Jesus' name, Amen.

Brothers and sisters, I never stop believing that our Lord God still  heals, and He still saves, and He, Jesus, is our one and only way to get into  heaven.  Well, praise the Lord, it is raining a tad here at the Southern Location of the North Pole, and that means I do not need to have Dolores go out and shovel it off the driveway.  It is indeed a great morning here at the Claus ranch, and I just need to stop and look around at all the blessings that have been lent to us by God and to share with others.  Not long ago I was asked what I would do if I was given a million dollars or won a million dollars.  The answer was very easy, I would feed more people and give each one more food and also other dry goods like toilet paper.  Today, Monday, and the day we pray for  our leaders, our veterans, our military, police and firefighters, and of course all the others who work to keep us safe and healthy.  Near the end of last week, the Loganville Fire Department fire chief, Rodney Miller, was run over and killed by a hit and run drunk driver. j Please pray for this fire chief's family and all his brothers and sisters that are firefighters.

God Still Heals:  (Day One)

2 Kings 20:1 - In those days Hezekiah became ill and was at the point of death.  The prophet Isaiah son of Amoz went to him and said, "This is what the Lord says:  'Put your house in order, because you are going to die; you will not recover.'"  2 Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord, 3 "remember, O Lord, how I have walked before you faithfully and with whole hearted devotion and have done what is good in your eyes."  And Hezekiah wept bitterly.  4 Before Isaiah had left the middle court, the word of the Lord came to him:  5 Go back and tell Hezekiah, the leader of my people, 'This is what the Lord, the God of your father David, says:  I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you.'"  On the third day from now you will go up to the temple of the Lord.  6 I will add fifteen years to your life.  (NIV)

Psalm 6:1 - O Lord, do not rebuke me in your anger or discipline me in your wrath.  2 Be merciful to me, Lord, for I am faint.  O Lord, heal me for my bones are in agony.  3 My soul is in anguish, How long, O Lord, how long?  (NIV)

Dear brothers and sisters, over the next few days I will talk about healing and I will point out to you where I find this in the Bible.  As you know, I believe all that is in the Bible, from the very beginning to the very end of this wonderful book of books.  We will look in the old testament as we are today and we will walk with Jesus as He heals and we will look at the scriptures where He gives us instructions on praying for healing and who should pray with us.  There are still people today that believe that the Bible was for then and this is now ... Not so, folks, and this scripture, which I use often, will point it right out to you ...

Hebrews 13:8 - Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.  (NIV)

Yes, and that should be a comfort to all of you for indeed our Lord healed when He walked the earth and I am sure, 100% sure, He is still in the healing business today.  We must have faith, and we must pray that it is God's will.  Now let's dig into those scriptures that I wrote out for you.

We see in the first part of the scripture that Hezekiah became ill and was at the point of death.  The prophet Isaiah son of Amoz went to him and said, "This is what the Lord says:  'Put your house in order, because you are going to die.'  It seems that the prophet Isaiah was sort of like the middle man between God and Hezekiah.  Isaiah was given the word that Hezekiah was going to pass.  God gave a warning, get your place in order, get your things together.

About three years ago I received a call from a gentleman whose wife resided at The Bridges in the Garden section.  This is a dementia unit and a really good one, I might add.  Anyway, the husband called me and said his wife was given just a few days to live and he and his daughters wanted to talk to me about doing the service.  A funeral director was contacted.  I went to The Bridges and sat bedside with the family.  I anointed this wonderful lady with oil and was starting to pray for her and to release her to God as the family requested I do.  First, please note that we are in God's hands, but releasing them is a term I use so as a family can get ready for this.  Anyway, I anointed her in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and leaned down really near her and could hear this faint singing.  She was singing Amazing Grace just as clear as clear could be, word for word.  I prayed and prayed and then sang with her.  Over and over again, she sang.  Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound, and as I asked God to heal her I could hear Him speak to my heart.  "I am not done with her on earth yet."  So when done praying, I turned to the family and told them this.  I believe God is not done with her here on earth, He is not ready for her yet in heaven.  Each week this lady sat in the front row in church with her husband holding her hand, it is so dear and wonderful.  Just before she had turned ill and they thought she was going home, I did a remarriage service and they got re-married.  Now she resides at another retirement home, but still going to church and doing well according to her husband Bob who just had surgery to have a pig valve put into his heart.  He is doing well.  Yesterday we did our service in song, and many folks who have dementia sang each song, no book, just sang from memory.  Folks, I feel God is working on memories and I do believe that those whose memories start to fail, God in His humble wisdom and love leaves them with the best parts, the good things in their life to remember.  Think about that, folks.  Folks, God is good, and God still heals, please never give up.  I will tell you other examples of healing this week, both from the Bible and also from some that we have prayed for on this line.  GOD CAN HEAL YOU OR YOUR FAMILY OR BOTH.  HE CAN TAKE AWAY YOUR SINS AND THAT IS A GOOD STARTING PLACE.  Heal your heart first.  I don't know why God heals one and not the other but we will someday find that out.  If we go back to the scripture and look at it some more we find this:

Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord, "remember, O Lord, how I have walked before you faithfully and with whole hearted devotion and have done what is good in your eyes."  And Hezekiah wept bitterly.

We see in this scripture that Hezekiah turned to the wall and prayed to the Lord.  I would think just burying his face in the wall and talking to God ... and Hezekiah reminded God that he was a good guy, he lived for God.  He told God he was faithful and devoted to God and had done what was good in the eyes of the Lord.  And he wept bitterly.

Have you ever laid it out to God in prayer?  Have you lived for God?  Can you remind God of your good living or are you one who always needs those prayers for forgiveness of your sins?  Brothers and sisters, we do need to repent, I believe that is a good way to start when we are asking for healing.  So let's take a minute right now and pray to be forgiven.  I cannot pray it for you.  So in faith, will you please pray with me ...

Dear Father in Heaven, please forgive me of my sins, and Lord, help me to repent.  In Jesus' name, I pray.  Amen.

Dear Lord, now I ask and all on the line ask that You please heal, please, please, heal those young men with Cerebral Palsy and touch them.  Straighten out the spine of Dolores and heal her of her pain.  Anoint the doctors, dear Lord, that work through Your hands.  Lord, please, please, heal our wounded warriors, those coming home from was with many injuries, and Lord, I cry out for healing for my dear wife as her spine is also twisted with scoliosis.  Lord, thanks for healing Peggy and Bob Everhard, the lady at The Bridges, and thanks for the support she gets from her husband Bob, and Lord, thanks for the inspiration that comes to me from You, through her.  Heal also Burt and Patsy, and Barbara.  And Lord, touch my pain also.  Again, we direct our prayers through our Lord Jesus, who is the only way to the Father.  Amen.

Yes, folks, pray through Jesus for He is the only way to The Father.  (John 14:6)  And go forth now walking in faith that God will hear all your prayers and remember this, God heals many times in our lives when we are protected from getting sick ... God heals us in advance ... Amen.

Now go forth sharing those blessings.  Love ya.  Please pass that on.

Friday 4/26/13 Praise Week 5

Dear Father in Heaven, Another beautiful day You have supplied us with, more food to eat and water to drink You have supplied us with, and our bodies were covered with clothes that You have supplied us with.  Thanks, dear Father, for supplying our needs and many of our wants.  You have supplied our needs, many of our wants, and thanks to You sending Your Son Jesus to us, You have also picked up the price of our sins.  Thanks, Father, I love You, and I give thanks to You for trusting us to do Your work.  Please watch over Burt and Patsy, please watch over those who were here for food this day.  Lord, thanks for a voice that we might sing for You.  Now, Lord, please furnish my brain with a message to write and please keep this line free of bugs.  In Jesus' Name I pray to You.  Amen.

Hi, brothers and sisters, it was and still is a beautiful day here at the Southern Location of the North Pole, where we are told the air is not fit to breathe.  Wow, I am glad someone told me, I have been breathing it for just about 72 years now.  For those in the Sierra Club who say our air is not fit to breathe, I invite you to NOT BREATHE IT!!  It is amazing tome how this club is complaining about the air not fit to breathe in Cumberland County, and how it is making most people sick.  Then it talks about 5 or 6 days over the past so many years.  Most I know who have trouble breathing have messed up their lungs smoking.  (I had to say it like it is, folks.)  Let me see, if we get rid of the trucks in this area and we get rid of some of the job places and we can clean the air up, then we can breathe, but with no work, people cannot buy food, so you can breathe well AS YOU STARVE TO DEATH.  Don't you just love it?  Brothers and sisters, trust in God, He will always tell you the truth.  Want an answer to something, look it up in your Bible.  Did I hear someone say AMEN?  Let me get on with the message ... Praise Week.

Praise Week 4/26/13 - Day Five.

Ephesians 5:15 - Be very careful, then, how you live, not as unwise by 16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.  17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is.  18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery.  Instead, be filled with the Spirit.  19 Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs.  Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, 20 always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.  (NIV)

This scripture was used today in Our Daily Bread.  I said to Dolores that this fits right into the message of this week about singing for the Lord and making music for Him and with Him and about Him.  The scripture tells us to be making the most of every opportunity, or in my words making the most of all we do.  In all we do, do it with Jesus in mind.  If you would not do it in front of Jesus, then do not do it, for if it cannot e done in front of Jesus then it must be evil.  Sort of like putting your Bible on the coffee table and laying your Playboy books on top of it.  Then if the Pastor stops by you must hurry to change things.  Hey, you might fool the pastor, but you just cannot fool our Lord Jesus, and when you try, you are only fooling yourself, or dare I say, making a fool of yourself.

This scripture goes on to say we are not to get drunk, but to be filled with the (Holy) Spirit.  We are to speak to one another.  Speak to one another, how about that?  We are also to sing hymns and spiritual songs, we are to sing and make music in our hearts to the Lord.

Now please note this and then I will get to some singing.  Please note this in Ephesians ...

Ephesians 5:20 - Always giving thanks to God The Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.  (NIV)

Once again it tells me, if you want something to reach our Father in Heaven, it MUST GO THROUGH JESUS.  When I see people going out to pray, and just the other day I saw it, as a pastor gave a benediction at the Bush thing in Texas.  At the end, rather than offend anyone by saying In Jesus' Name, he just said AMEN.  Some will say In His Name, or Just Amen.  Please, please do not be afraid to say Jesus, please do not be afraid to say Jesus.  He die for us, we should be doing it like this ... THANK YOU, JESUS.  So let me get started right now with some singing and praising The Name of Jesus.

Jesus, Name above all names, beautiful Savior, glorious Lord.
Emmanuel,  God is with us.  Blessed Redeemer, Living Word.

Jesus, Name above all names, beautiful Savior, glorious Lord.
Emmanuel,  God is with us.  Blessed Redeemer, Living Word.

Jesus, Name above all names, beautiful Savior, glorious Lord.
Emmanuel,  God is with us.  Blessed Redeemer, Living Word.

-------------------------

Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so.
Little ones to Him belong; they are weak, but He is strong.

Yes, Jesus loves me.  Yes, Jesus loves me.
Yes, Jesus loves me.  The Bible tells me so.

Yes, Jesus loves me.  Yes, Jesus loves me.
Yes, Jesus loves me.  The Bible tells me so.

-------------------------

Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine.  Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine!
Heir of salvation, purchase of God, born of His Spirit, washed in His blood.

This is my story, this is my song.  Praising my Savior all the day long;
This is my story, this is my song.  Praising my savior all the day long.

Perfect submission, all is at rest.  I in my Savior am happy and blest.
Watching and waiting, looking above, filled with His goodness, lost in His love.

This is my story, this is my song.  Praising my Savior all the day long;
This is my story, this is my song.  Praising my savior all the day long.

Come on, sing it out.

This is my story, this is my song.  Praising my Savior all the day long;
This is my story, this is my song.  Praising my savior all the day long.

This is my story, this is my song.  Praising my Savior all the day long;
This is my story, this is my song.  Praising my savior all the day long.

Have a wonderful weekend, and please keep on singing and sharing your blessings.  Love ya.  Pass it on.

Pastor Dan

Note:  I guess the President did not read my letter about stopping abortion.  Today he spoke to a group from Planned Parenthood, the NUMBER ONE abortion provider in the United States.  They abort over 350 thousand babies a year.  And note that they get funding from our government.  To me, and it is my opinion, this president supports the murder of God's children.  SHAME ON HIM.  Amen.

Thursday 4/25/13 Praise Week

Good Morning, Lord,  I love You.  Thanks for seeing us through another night, and what a great day You have given us again today.  Help us this day as we go out and sing in Your name.  Please check in on Asra and take care of whatever is wrong with him.  And Lord, please take care of Patsy and help carry her pain, and also heal her.  Be also with Burt, and help him each day in his daily living and walk with You.  Be watchful in Dallas, Texas, today, Lord, as all our living presidents are together.  Lord, thanks for watching over this line, thanks for blessing it, and Father, may it be used for You each day.  Now, Lord Jesus, if You would grant upon me a message for this day, I sure would appreciate it.  And Lord, I just received a call from one of our ministry team about their neighbor who fell, please watch over her, Lord, I do not know her name.  In Jesus' Name, I pray.  Amen.

Good Morning, my dear sisters and brothers in Christ.  What a beautiful morning we are having here t the Southern Location of the North Pole.  Prayer requests for Asra, also for a lady who fell, for our son Matthew who is still in the Holy Spirit Hospital since the beginning of November.  I pray all of you are enjoying our praise week.  I have heard from a few and they just love singing along.  Please pray for us today as we are leaving here in just a few minutes for our sing-along at The Bridges.  Those seniors in our flock sure love to sing the old hymns.  Speaking of which, how about a couple of old hymns today?  I can think of three ... Dave, Duane, and Neil.  Okay, a couple of old hymns coming right up.

Psalm 103:1 - Praise the Lord, O my soul, all my inmost being, praise His Holy Name.  2 Praise the Lord, o my soul and forget not all His benefits.  (NIV)

Praise the Lord and forget not all His benefits!  WOW!!  Did you know or do you know that God has the best health insurance plan?  Just worship Him and pray with Him and watch Him treat what is wrong with you.  Have faith, children.  Now those old hymns ...

I come to the garden alone, while the dew is still on the roses.
And the voice I hear falling on my ear The Son of God discloses.

And He walks with me and He talks with me, and He tells me I am His own.
And the joy we share as we tarry there, None other has ever known.

He speaks and the sound of His voice is so sweet the birds hush their singing.
And the melody that He gave tome within my heart is ringing.

And He walks with me and He talks with me, and He tells me I am His own.
And the joy we share as we tarry there, None other has ever known.

Be not dismayed whate'er the tide, God will take care of you.
Beneath His wings of love abide, God will take care of you.

God will take care of you, through every day, o'er all the way.
He will take care of you, God will take care of you.

God will take care of you, through every day, o'er all the way.
He will take care of you, God will take care of you.

Yes, God will take care of you, through every day, o'er all the way.
He will take care of you, God will take care of you.

Let's do this again to close up.

This is the day, this is the day that the Lord has made, that the Lord has made.
We will rejoice, we will rejoice and be glad init, and be glad in it.
This is the day that the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it.
This is the day, this is the day, that the Lord has made.

This is the day, this is the day that the Lord has made, that the Lord has made.
We will rejoice, we will rejoice and be glad init, and be glad in it.
This is the day that the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it.
This is the day, this is the day, that the Lord has made.

Now go forth sharing your blessings and singing the praises of God to Him and others.  I love ya.  Pass it on.

Pastor Dan

Let's go out singing now.

Wednesday 4/24/13 Psalm 150

Dear Father in Heaven, thanks for a great day, all praise and honor and glory to You for this day, for You have made it.  Thanks for all the rebirth, as we see all the plants and trees coming into their flowers and covers of many colors.  And Lord, thanks for taking care of Eleanor Saylor.  You have touched her and given her healing, before we even had a chance to list her for prayer.  And Lord, thanks for Tuesday evening, a time to be with our ministry team and relax.  Now, Lord, please help me with a message, for I am running late today.  And thanks for helping me cook the soup.  In Jesus' name, Amen.

Good Wednesday evening, my dear brothers and sisters.  What a great day.  I got up early, did the chores and then down to the food pantry to do some cooking, and I just love to cook.  After several turkey dinners, it was time to get out the turkey stock and make some turkey corn soup.  So I put it together in two table top roaster pans, making about 12 quarts of the soup.  At 1:00 PM Dolores and I sat down to lunch and had some of the soup.  I am happy to report, neither of us died!!  After taking some to other folks, most has been put in the freezer as I am starting to build the stock for our ANNUAL PICNIC in the park.  So block the first Saturday in July, for some good food, and a good time, and some good gospel music.  We tried to book Elvis this year (Special Friends), but they are booked already.  Speaking of music, let me get going with the message of today, and in keeping with our praise week, let's take a look at Psalm 150.

Wednesday 4/24/13 Psalm 150 (Praise Week, Day 3).

Psalm 150:1 - Praise ye the Lord, Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in the firmament of His power.  2 Praise Him for His mighty acts, praise Him according to His excellent greatness.  3 Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; praise Him with the psaltery and harp.  4 Praise Him with the timbrel and dance:  Praise Him with stringed instruments and organs.  5 Praise Him upon the loud cymbals; Praise Him upon the high sounding cymbals.  6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.  Praise Ye the Lord.  (King James)

This is a great Psalm.  I know people who have walked into a church and did not understand why the church folks would have a "pit band."  Or in some churches when folks get up and dance in the spirit.  Over the years I have been in some churches where it is so quiet and people so stone faced I had to wonder if they forgot to invite the Lord.  One time in a church like that a man in the back row had a heart attack and passed out.  The ambulance was called and they carried seven men out before they got the right one.  (Think about that one, folks.)  Our dear Lord wants us to be happy and cheerful even in church.  I want to write Psalm 150 out in New International Version.

Psalm 150:1 - Praise The Lord.  Praise God in the sanctuary, praise Him in His mighty heavens.  2 Praise Him for His acts of power; praise Him for His surpassing greatness.  3 Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet, praise Him with the harp and lyre.  4 Praise Him with tambourine and dancing, Praise Him with the strings and flute.  5 Praise Him with the clash of cymbals, Praise Him with resounding cymbals.  6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.  Praise The Lord.  (NIV)

One song that reminds me of using all of the instruments mentioned in this Psalm might be this ...

Oh, when the Saints go marching in, oh, when the saints go marching in
I want to be there in that number, when the saints go marching in.

Oh, when the Saints go marching in, oh, when the saints go marching in
I want to be there in that number, when the saints go marching in.

Another would be this ...

When the roll is called up yonder, when the roll is called up yonder,
When the roll is called up yonder, when the roll is called up yonder I'll be there!

Oh, when the roll is called up yonder, when the roll is called up yonder,
When the roll is called up yonder, when the roll is called up yonder I'll be there!

I remember once years ago when Carry The Light was singing at Manor Care in Camp Hill, PA, our grandson, Keith Lehman, Jr., who was about 14 at the time, was with us.  We were singing some of those songs, first "The Saints and then "When The Roll is Called Up Yonder."  Well, when we were singing "When The Roll is Called Up Yonder," one of the seniors who was wheelchair  bound got up out of the wheelchair an danced back and forth across in front of us.  The attendants in the room were amazed and said she just does not walk at all.  Keith Jr. asked me what had happened and I just gave him the answer.  God raised her out of the chair and she danced in the Spirit of The Lord. When the song was over, she went back and sat down.  Let's keep singing, folks, how about this one ...

I'm so glad Jesus lifted me.  I'm so glad Jesus lifted me.
I'm so glad Jesus lifted me.  Singing glory, hallelujah, Jesus lifted me!

I was bound, Jesus set me free.  I was bound, Jesus set me free.
I was bound, Jesus set me free.  Singing glory, hallelujah, Jesus lifted me!

I'll tell the world Jesus lifted me.  I'll tell the world Jesus lifted me.
I'll tell the world Jesus lifted me.  Singing glory, hallelujah, Jesus lifted me.

Keep on singing and praising the Lord, folks, and it is okay to get out that band in church and also do some dancing.  It is sure okay that you also keep sharing your blessings.  Love ya.  Pass it on.

Pastor Dan.

Tuesday 4/23/13 Psalm 100 (2)

Dear Father in Heaven:  Again, this day, we just want to praise You and lift You in song.  We know that You love us and provide for us each and every day, and we love You.  You know our hearts about prayer requests, so we just lift You today again in singing.  Please protect this line and help me now with a message.  I love You, Jesus, as I pray in Your  name.  Amen.

Good Morning, my dear brothers and sisters, it is a beautiful day here at the Southern Location, and I was out this morning to feed the goats and check on my pet chicken and just felt so blessed that once again I was looking at the green side of the lawn (seeing the lawn from the top.)

Dear Father in Heaven, I pause right now, as I can hear sirens, to ask You to protect our first responders as they head out someplace to help someone.  Praise You, Lord, for them.  In Jesus' name, Amen.

I am back, no idea whee they are heading, but our first responders are always ready to serve.  I pray that you had those songs on your hearts and lips yesterday.

Psalm 100:1 - Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.  2 Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing.  3 Know ye that the Lord He is God, it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture.  4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise; be thankful unto Him, and bless His name.  5 For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endureth to all generations.  (King James)

Palm 101:  I will sing of mercy and judgment:  Unto thee,, O Lord, will I sing.  (King James)

Holy Spirit, Thou art welcome in this place.
Holy Spirit, Thou art welcome in this place.
Omnipotent Father of mercy and grace,
Thou art welcome in this place.

Holy Spirit, Thou art welcome in this place.
Holy Spirit, Thou art welcome in this place.
Omnipotent Father of mercy and grace,
Thou art welcome in this place.

Brothers and sisters, in most churches when you go for services, they are started with music, most often with a piano or organ prelude or even both playing together.  Then churches might sing some worship choruses or a hymn (old or new).  The churches that do that are just following the Bible.  Look, brothers and sisters, at those first verses of Psalm 100.

Psalm 100:1 - Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.  2 Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing.

We are to make a joyful noise unto the Lord.  All of us, all of us.  Noise, folks, if you cannot carry a tune, sing anyway.  God has ears to listen, and I am sure that He would much rather hear a good worship sung by someone who in their own opinion cannot carry a tune than hear a perfect voice which He provided sing SOME TRASH!!  On any given Sunday morning at the Bridges when Dolores sits down to start playing, about 10 minutes before the service stats, those in the flock start to sing with her.  From the very first note on the piano, they are ready to sing for the Lord and to praise Him.  This week, we are going to have our service in song.  It also tell us in verse 2 that we are to "serve the Lord with gladness."  And we are to come before His presence with singing.  Yet in some churches I tend to hear people complaining because they seem to be doing all the work.  Come on, brothers and sisters, consider it joy to serve the Lord and if He calls on you to work at your church, do it with a song in your heart and on your lips.  Let me put it in "Lehman's Language."  Don't hiss and moan (yes, I cleaned that a tad); go about what you are doing for Him singing.  After all, He died for us, we surely can give Him some time back without complaining about it.  Consider it sheer joy to clean the toilets at your church if the one ahead of you messed it up.  You do know that Jesus cleans up our messes, our sins, daily, right?  Okay, now I got that out, let's get to serving the Lord with gladness.

Just a closer walk with Thee; Grant it, Jesus, is my plea.
Daily walking close to Thee, Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.

I am weak, but Thou art strong; Jesus, keep me from all wrong.
I'll be satisfied as long, as I walk, let me walk close to Thee.

Just a closer walk with Thee; Grant it, Jesus, is my plea.
Daily walking close to Thee, Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.

(Rest in peace, Patsy.)

How much did our Lord Jesus love us?  Well, this song will tell us as we picture Him with His arms stretched out and the nails put in.  Join me in "The Old Rugged Cross."  Now I am typing and singing with teas in my eyes.  This is my favorite.

On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross, the emblem of suffering and shame.
And I love that old cross where the dearest and best for a world of lost sinners was slain.

So I'll cherish the old rugged cross
Til my trophies at last I lay down.
I will cling to the old rugged cross
And exchange someday for a crown.

To the old rugged cross I will ever be true, its shame and reproach gladly bear.
Then He'll call me someday to my home far away, where His glory forever I'll share.

So I'll cherish the old rugged cross
Til my trophies at last I lay down.
I will cling to the old rugged cross
And exchange someday for a crown.

Brothers and sisters, with a song in my heart, I leave you this day.  Remember to sing, love each other, hug each other, and by all means, share your blessings.  Jesus loved you and loves you enough that He gave His life for you.  At least you can make a JOYFUL NOISE for Him today.

I love ya.  (Pass it on.)

Pastor Dan.

So I'll cherish the old rugged cross
Til my trophies at last I lay down.
I will cling to the old rugged cross
And exchange someday for a crown.

Monday 4/22/3 Psalm 100

Dear Father in Heaven, last week we called on You in so many ways, and I am sure we will do that again this week, but for today, I ask that You just let us sing the praises to You, sing and sing and sing.  Father, guard and protect this line and all who use it.  Monday, Lord, and we ask protection over our military, retired and active, and over police and firefighters, and Lord, be with those in West, Texas, who lost 10 first responders in that accident last week.  Thanks again for taking care of us.  In Jesus' wonderful name, I pray.  Amen.

Good Morning, dear brothers and sisters, it is a PERFECT day here at the Southern Location of the North Pole, so let's get started like this ... "HIT IT" ...

This is the day, this is the day that the Lord has made, that the Lord has made.
We will rejoice, we will rejoice and be glad in it, and be glad in it.
This is the day that the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
This is the day, this is the day that the Lord has made.

This is the day, this is the day that the Lord has made, that the Lord has made.
We will rejoice, we will rejoice and be glad in it, and be glad in it.
This is the day that the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
This is the day, this is the day that the Lord has made.  (By Les Garrett)

This is the day, this is the day that the Lord has made, that the Lord has made.
We will rejoice, we will rejoice and be glad in it, and be glad in it.
This is the day that the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
This is the day, this is the day that the Lord has made.

And what a great job He has done making this day.  I don't care if you are running around your house in your undies or sitting in your office (with more on than your undies, thank you).  It is time to sing out and rejoice in the Lord for He is good and He is God.  Don't whisper those words that are on your lips, sing it out, let those in other offices hear you.  No moment for our Lord, we are singing the praises to Him this day.  Come on, I am not done with that one yet ...

This is the day, this is the day that the Lord has made, that the Lord has made.
We will rejoice, we will rejoice and be glad in it, and be glad in it.
This is the day that the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
This is the day, this is the day that the Lord has made.

Every day with Jesus is sweeter than the day before.
Every day with Jesus, I love Him more and more.
Jesus saves and keeps me, and He's the One I'm waiting for.
Every day with  Jesus is sweeter than the day before.  (Robert C. and Wendell P. Loveless)

Come on, hit it again ...

Every day with Jesus is sweeter than the day before.
Every day with Jesus, I love Him more and more.
Jesus saves and keeps me, and He's the One I'm waiting for.
Every day with  Jesus is sweeter than the day before.

Now you are getting into it, come on, how about an old hymn ...

Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to thee; How great Thou art, how great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to thee; How great Thou art, how great Thou art!

(Okay, Tim, your verse)

O Lord, my God, when I in awesome wonder, consider all the worlds Thy hands have made, I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder, Thy power throughout the universe displayed ---

Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to thee; How great Thou art, how great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to thee; How great Thou art, how great Thou art!

(Pastor Dan has this one)

When Christ shall come with shout of acclamation and takes me home, what joy shall fill my heart!
Then I shall bow in humble adoration, and there proclaim, my God, how great Thou art!

Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to thee; How great Thou art, how great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to thee; How great Thou art, how great Thou art!

Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to thee; How great Thou art, how great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to thee; How great Thou art, how great Thou art!

Put the end up high this time.  Let it ring out.  Come on, let the neighbors hear you.

Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to thee; How great Thou art, how great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to thee; How great Thou art, how great Thou art!

Ohhhhh ...

This is the day, this is the day that the Lord has made, that the Lord has made.
We will rejoice, we will rejoice and be glad in it, and be glad in it.
This is the day that the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
This is the day, this is the day that the Lord has made.

Have a blessed and wonderful day, enjoy it, sing songs, lift the Lord with your lips and sing while you go about sharing your blessings.  I love ya, pass it on.

Pastor Dan -- Now let's sing our way out ...

Holy Spirit, Thou art welcome on this line.
Holy Spirit, Thou art welcome on this line.
Omnipotent Father of mercy and grace,
Thou art welcome on this line.

Holy Spirit, Thou art welcome in my heart.
Holy Spirit, Thou art welcome in my heart.
Omnipotent Father of mercy and grace,
Thou art welcome in my heart.

See you tomorrow, want to sing a song, send it to me.

Friday 4/19/2013 Wars and Rumors of Wars

Dear Father in Heaven, Thanks for another great day, we are surely blessed.  Thanks for walking with us each day and being right there for us.  Father, please be with our leaders, national, state, local, and schools, all those who have power over us.  Thanks, Lord, for our military, please watch over our veterans and our current military, please watch over our veterans and our current military.  Thanks for first responders and all those who have been pressed into duties in Boston and now in West Texas.  In fact, Lord, we know that these responders, firefighters, police, and all those who work to protect us are used each day across this nation, we just do not hear as much unless it is big.  Now Lord,  hear the prayers of all those who are calling, some of which, Lord, have tossed You out of places.  Please, Lord, may these events help people come to You or return to You, or even like me, dear Lord, get stronger and stronger in faith and in my walk with You.  Please protect this line, and now, Lord, please bring forth a message in my heart and mind.  Thanks, Jesus, I love You, Jesus, and I pray in Your name, Jesus.  Amen.

Happy Friday, my dear brothers and sisters.  Thursday was a great day here at the Southern Location of the North Pole.  We were blessed with more bread, cakes and pies, etc., for the food pantry and we also picked up some canned goods that we were running low on.  God is good, folks, please pray that our Lord Jesus will shine in Boston and in West, and that pastors will preach THE WORD this Sunday as churches should have a high attendance.  Time for Christians to stand arm in arm and take America back in the name of Jesus.  Now time to get to the message, Wars and Rumors of Wars.

Friday 4/19/2013 - Wars and Rumors of Wars, Day Five.

Matthew 24:1 - Jesus left the temple and was walking away when His disciples came up to Him to call His attention to its buildings.  2 "Do you see all these things?"  He asked.  "I tell you the truth, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down."  3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately.  "Tell us," they said, "when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?"  (NIV)

Matthew 24:13 - But he who stands firm to the end will be saved, 14 And this gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come."  (NIV)

Brothers and sisters, all week I have been "telling it like it is according to the book of Matthew."  The Bible is very, very clear on this subject, but we in America have not tuned in, I guess.  Maybe we have been sheltered because we have not seen the all-out war zones that we see in other countries.  But again I bring up our streets, our streets here in America and not just because of the bombings in Boston on Monday, but all of the events in America.  The Bible tells us there will be was and rumors of wars, but it does not say that we will see tanks and Air Craft and many men and women in uniform fighting each other.  Have you taken notice to the news, even right now as I finish this message thee are police being shown on the news, lots of them hunting down a "bad guy".  Our president went to Boston to give a speech on Wednesday at an interfaith service.  He should stop by his hometown of Chicago where it is reported that about two dozen people are shot each weekend.  And recently they showed Detroit and it looked like a war zone.  Go into the city of Harrisburg where Mayor Linda Thompson, who has prayer in her office each morning, and who called Perry County people scumbags, watches over a town where if a building, a big building, becomes vacant, the windows are broke out before it can be sold.  But with all that said, with all that said, there is good news about all of this, there truly is.  Let's go back to the Bible again and look at some more scriptures.

Matthew 24:13 - But he who stands firm to the end will be saved, 14 And this gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come."

Look at it, "he who stands firm to the end will be saved."  Jesus said that.  "Now look again, this gospel of the Kingdom will be preached."

And what is that gospel that we are to be taking out?  And folks, this is a command of our Lord Jesus.

Mark 16:15 - He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the GOOD NEWS to all creation."  (NIV)

Now that is our Lord Jesus telling them, his disciples of that day.  Now once again I go into the book of Hebrews.

Hebrews 13:8 - Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.  (NIV)

Now Jesus is the same, but the disciples, well, those of that day are gone and we are the disciples of today.  The Bible tells us to stand firm!!  No place does it say it WILL BE EASY.  But please do not be afraid, if you stand firm, you do not have anything to fear, because God will not leave you, He will never leave you, but some will walk away from Him.  We need to stand firm, I am telling you today that I will stand firm with Jesus to the end and I pray that all of you will also.  Again it will not be easy and we need not be afraid for God is in charge, our Lord God is in charge, and I want to say that again, OUR LORD GOD, OUR DEAR JESUS IS IN CHARGE.  I know some folks, some already living in retirement homes might be scared, please do not be scared, for God has made us great promises and He keeps His promises. If we stand firm to the end, well, listen to this.  Again in the words of Jesus ...

John 14:1 - "Do not let your hearts be troubled.  Trust in God, trust also in Me.  2 In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you.  I am going there to prepare a place for you.  3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.  4 You know the way to the place where I am going."  5 Thomas said to Him, "Lord, we don't know where You are going, so how can we know the way?"  6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through me."  (NIV)

1 John 3:1 - How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!  And that is what we are!  The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him.  (NIV)

1 John 3:7 - Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray.  He who does what is right is righteous, just as He is righteous.  8 He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning.  The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work.  9 No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God.  (NIV)

Brothers and sisters, stand firm in our Lord Jesus Christ, and He will as promised to us, come back and get us.  If we die before He returns and we are in good standing we will go with Him.  Our soul goes to the Lord, our tired worn-out body goes to the ground.  Be not afraid, my dear brothers and sisters, if you stand firm in God we have nothing to fear. Jesus tells us and let me repeat just a few verses ...

Matthew 24:13 - But he who stands firm to the end will be saved.

John 14:1 - "Do not let your hearts be troubled.  Trust in God, trust also in me."

1 John 3:7 - Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray.  He who does what is right is righteous, just as He is righteous.

The Good News is Jesus died for us, and if we stand firm in this Good News and we tell others, we will find out that in the end, in the very, very end, WE WIN.  WE WIN!  YES, WE WIN!!

Dear Father in Heaven, Thanks for standing with us in these troubled times, please, Lord, help us to stand with You, to stand firm in Your Word and to stand firm in Your love, Jesus, and in the love of others, even our enemies, for we trust in You, Father, and in Jesus, Your One and Only Son who died for us and in whose name I pray, in Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

Now go forth, hold your head high, for you are a believer, a follower of Jesus, and you are going to share your blessings because you love Jesus, not because I told you, but because of your love for Jesus ... right?  I love ya (pass it on).

Thursday 4/18/13 Wars and Rumors of Wars 4

Dear Father in Heaven:  Thanks for another good night's rest, and thanks for Your help yesterday.  Now, Lord, my heart turns to the town of West in the state of Texas.  Please be with those injured and with the families of those who gave their lives.  Once again I give thanks for firefighters, first responders, police, and all others working to save lives and even limbs during these  troubled times.  I pray that these events will wake up the people of America and call on You.  I know some are doing that now and calling on You, even in public to pray.  Praise the Lord, and Thank You, Jesus.  I love You and pray in Your Name, Jesus.  Amen.

Brothers and sisters, I woke early this morning as always and the first thing on the news is the big, big fire in West, Texas.  Early reports tell us that firefighters responded and were on the scene when the fertilizer plant blew up.  Some of the firefighters are missing.  Right now the news is reporting over 180 injured and several are deceased.  They just now, 9:45 AM Eastern Daylight Saving Time, a Texas Congressman just asked for people to pray for these events, meaning Boston, Mass., and now West, Texas.  Just the other Day Congress called for a moment of silence.  Pray, warriors.  Next is a copy, word for word, of an email I sent to our President.  You are welcome to share what I wrote to him with others.  After that I go on with the message, Wars and Rumors of War.

My Dear Brother, President Barack Obama:

Just want you and your family to know that I am praying for all of you and for your safety.

Just a quick note on the mass shootings in our schools, and then this bombing in Boston.  It is so sad, but I think it is happening because this nation turned away from God.  We need to come back to our Lord Jesus and a moment of silence will just not cut it.  Also, we murder more children each day and call it abortion, and it is legal.

Mr. President, I call on you to issue an order to stop abortion for the rest of your term.  Think of all the lives would e saved.  Come o n, Mr. President, PLEASE put a stop to the murder of our unborn.

Thanks so much for considering this request.

Love and blessings to you and your family.

Wars and Rumors of Wars 4/18/2013 Day 3.

Matthew 24:8 - "All these are the beginning of birth pains.  9 Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death and you will be hated by all nations because of me.  10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.  12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved."  (NIV)

Brothers and sisters, the above quote is from Jesus, our Lord and Savior.  Now while this was said back when Jesus was walking the face of this earth, I am going to put down another scripture.

Hebrews 13:8 - Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.  (NIV)

Brothers and sisters, you knew that one was coming, didn't you?  As I look back over the past years, and I mean recent years, let's say since 9/11/2001, when our nation came together after the terrorists stole the planes and hit the Trade Center buildings in New York City, New York, the Pentagon in Washington, DC, and of course the plane that went down in Western Pennsylvania.  Yes, Americans pulled together and many, many turned to God, and politicians, politicians requested prayer, and right after those events the churches were full.  Of course people forgot, walked away again from God, and many Americans turned their backs on God completely.  And the politicians, well, they are back to that moment of silence.  Now again some are opening asking for prayers, and right now our President and his wife are on their way to Boston for an interfaith meeting and I guess they will pray.  Now I am going to get in trouble for this statement, but interfaith means in most part, not many will call on the name of Jesus.  They will say, in His name, or just Amen.  I will say this, it seems to me that one place where Jesus has not been tossed out is, well, in the NASCAR events.  They pray before each race and 95% of the time they invoke the name of Jesus in their prayers.  Let me get to the scriptures of today.  First from Hebrews.

Hebrews 13:8 - Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

I just want all of you to remember that Jesus is the same today as when He walked this earth, and the words of His ring true today, as true as if He was standing in front of you talking to you.  Now let's look at the scriptures from Mathew.  Let me repeat them.

Matthew 24:8 - "All these are the beginnings of birth pains. 9 Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death and you will be hated by all nations because of me.  10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.  12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved."

The beginning of birth pains is the term Jesus used as we look at the scriptures of the last few days.  These events, the wars and rumors of wars, the starving of many, the earthquakes, etc.  All must happen, and Jesus told us to not be alarmed.  Then the scriptures tell us that we who follow Jesus will be handed over to be persecuted and we will be put to death.  Before that we will be hated by all nations and all of this because of Jesus.  Yes, people will hate us, but please remember this, before we were hated because of following Jesus, He was hated.  Now let me ask you this, and I want you to really search your heart on this ... If you were arrested for being a Christian and you were taken before a court to judge you on your standing with Jesus, would those who had you arrested find enough evidence against you to have you convicted, or would the jury say this man or this woman is not guilty of loving and ALSO FOLLOWING JESUS?  My dear friend Wanda Crockett just told me yesterday"that it is easier to say you love Jesus than it is to do His work to prove your love for Him."  I am quoting, but I might not have it word for word.

Yes, when thees events happen more and more, and people are arrested in America for speaking out for Jesus, some will deny Him.  You remember Peter, right?  Maybe you have been one who has denied Christ already, and you are ready to now speak up for Him.  Good for you, for Jesus will reinstate you, as He did Peter.  Remember, Jesus is still the same.  Now while my messages this week might seem like I am trying to scare you, and maybe that is what is happening, there is good news to those who keep the faith and stand firm in Jesus.  Listen to this quote from our Lord Jesus, and please follow it to the end.  "Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved."  You see what I am talking about, there is good, good news, and tomorrow as I finish out this series on Wars and Rumors of Wars, there will be good news.  For now, please stand firm in your love for Jesus, stand firm, pray daily, help others, love others, and when people try and tell you that you cannot pray someplace, just bow your head and pray.  I want you to stand fast, tell people you love Jesus and ask them if they do.  We are to spread the word, and brothers and sisters, it is time we who LOVE JESUS TAKE BACK OUR NATION.  Come home, Christians, come back to Christ, and let's get Jesus in FIRST PLACE.  And let's STAMP OUT HATE AND ABORTION.

Dear Father in Heaven, Thanks for the words for today, I pray I am writing it like You want me to, it is what You plant on my mind.  Thanks for this line and for protecting it.  In Jesus' Name, I pray and give thanks.  Jesus, I love You, thanks for saving me. Amen.

Now, brothers and sisters, go forth in the love of Jesus and brothers and sisters, be thankful for what you have and be willing to share it, yes, share your blessings.  Be solid, and remember this, please know that Jesus loves you.  I love ya also and you can "pass it on."

Wednesday 4/17/2013 Wars and Rumors of Wars 3

Dear Father in Heaven, what a great day You gave to us, and Father, I am so thankful I have lived another day to serve You.  Lord, please today be with George Beverly Shea and touch him and heal him of his stroke.  Lord, thank You for this man and his witness to so many, all honor and glory to You for his life.  Lord, please also touch Leila Bendzin, heal her and also take away the pain in her body.  Bless Andy also, Lord.  Lord, we also pray for all those in Boston and pray that You are working with doctors, families, and all there who need Your help.  Now, Lord, if You would please open Your word for me this evening as I work on a message for Wednesday.  Protect the line, Lord, and I ask all my prayers in the name of Jesus.  Amen.

Brothers and sisters, please keep praying for those in the Boston area, pray also for our military who were injured when their chopper went down in South Korea.  All 21 on board survived (praise the Lord).  I am not sure the mix of military on the chopper.  (For those who might be a tad sleepy today, I am talking about a flying machine, not a motorcycle.)  Pray please for Leila Bendzin who is in need of God's healing hand.  Pray for George Beverly Shea, 104 years old, who had a stroke.  He made the song, "I'd Rather Have Jesus" a standard for gospel singers.  My dear Marvin came home from the hospital today after a six-day stay.  He is still weak and needs special care.

As you folks might know, I struggle to walk some days.  Last night when I went to bed my legs really hurt; when I woke today I still had both of mine.  Please, Lord, forgive me for whining, some in Boston woke today with one leg  missing, and many times our warriors have lost both legs and our Lord had spikes driven into Him. Folks, just pray for me that I have enough strength to work for Jesus each day.  GOD IS SO GOOD TO ME!!!  Let me march forward with Jesus with a message.

Wednesday 4/17/2013:  Wars and Rumors of Wars (Day Three).

Matthew 24:7 - "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.  There will be famines and earthquakes in various places."  (NIV)

Isaiah 19:2 - I will stir up Egyptian against Egyptian, brother will fight against brother, neighbor against neighbor, city against city, kingdom against kingdom.  (NIV)

Wars and Rumors of Wars has been going on, well, going on it seems forever, and while most of us just elate to our own time span, keeps me busy just keeping up with half of my time span, but I want to pull some interesting facts from our Bible, facts that I know are true because they are in the Bible and I believe everything in the Bible.  Let me take a look first at Isaiah 19:2 with that part about brother will fight against brother.  Now I do not remember how many times my brother and I would fight, but I do remember this, I never won any.  Setting that aside, look at the Civil War, a tad before my lifetime, but I do remember this about the Civil War, that brothers were fighting against brothers, some fought for the South and some for the North.  I also see in that same verse that neighbor would fight against neighbor.  Wow, another one that holds true today, we see it all the time in our neighborhoods today, and we read about it in the papers, how neighbors do not get along and sometimes it gets into fighting and even one killing another, and over what,a line between the two properties, or today maybe even where one has parked a car or placed a fence post wrong, or it could be a turf battle.

Now when I see the words of Isaiah talking about city against city, I cannot think of any modern wars between cities, but wait a minute, what about when those sports teams get together?  Some bad fighting starts sometimes, and some of them have turned into riots.  And we all know that we have kingdom against kingdom, and that has been going on for a long, long time.  But it has come to the good old United States of America.  Think about it, Wars and Rumors of Wars right now.  North Korea is telling we in the United States that they are going to send a missile on our land.  Will it happen?  Don't be surprised, after all, these things are in the Bible.

So now let me go to the words of Jesus.

Matthew 24:7 - "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.  There will be famines and earthquakes in various places."  (NIV)

We hear it right here in the words of our Lord Jesus, and what is He saying, "Nation will rise against Nation."  Let me see, I remember something about that!  Did not, oh I mentioned this already, Japan bombed Pearl Harbor, part of America, folks.  North Korea against South Korea and North Vietnam against South Vietnam.  I am not naming them all, but how about America and Iraq, hey, I could go on, but I am sure you are getting the picture ... Wars and Rumors of Wars.

Jesus tells us we will see famines, and we see them on TV when all those little children are paraded before the cameras and shown o TV. It is a fact, a lot of people in this world have very little to eat, while we are a land of plenty ... BUT FOR HOW LONG, if we keep acting like we act?  Would you believe we have farmers paid not to farm their land here in America, paid by our government, while people in other countries are starving?  SHAME ON US!  I hear it is done to keep food prices up.  Gosh, I get it now, have you looked at your food bill lately?  With having a food pantry in our basement, I am in the food stores a lot, and the dollar does not go far today.

One last thing today, how about earthquakes?  Just one today, between Pakistan and Iran, 46 dead if I heard the news right (Fox).

Folks, it is all starting to come home to us, and I really believe we have just taken that walk from God, and it is coming, it is spelled out in the Bible, and folks, look around you, it is coming, no, no, it has come to America.  I am not trying to scare you, just tell you it is time to get right with God and work for Him and be ready to take a stand for Him.  Do not turn and run, I say, do not turn and run from Jesus, folks, it is time we stand.  I AM SICK AND TIRED OF SEEING MY JESUS THROWN OUT.

More on Thursday, folks.  Got to get Marvin to bed.

Dear Father in Heaven, please keep us strong in our faith and help us never let go of You, for I for one love You and I am sure this line is loaded with those who love You.  I pray as time goes on, we all hold onto You, none turn, none deny You.  Help us, Lord, help us with that walk.  In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Now go forth and share your blessings.  I love ya ... I really do, and you can pass that on.

Tuesday 4/16/2013 Wars and Rumors of Wars 2

Dear Father in Heaven:  I love You, Lord, and I want to give thanks for my life and that of our family and friends, for the lives of our ministry team and their families, and for all who use this line and their families and friends.  Lord, once gain I am humbled by just how fast things can change in this world and in our United States.  Please, dear Lord, be healing those who have been wounded in Boston, be with all the medical people working around the clock, be with families who lost loved ones, help people find those family members that they cannot get in touch with.  Lord, be with Sandy who has lung cancer, and also with Karen and heal her from her surgery, and protect her from more stones.  Please, Lord, keep protecting this line, and now, please, dear Lord, put the message on my mind, in my heart, and help me get it typed out.  In Jesus' wonderful name, I pray.  Amen.

Dear sisters and brothers, I have been up most of the night watching the events that happened in Boston on Monday.  Yesterday I was up early and could have gotten to the computer for a message, but God had not given me anything, so while waiting time slipped on past until we had to leave for a doctor's appointment for me.  After which we went to the animal hospital to pick up our cat, who still was not discharged, so we had a nice drive and came home.  Grant and Wanda were here working around our home, which is where our ministry is housed.  So we put together a little lunch of hotdogs and beans and enjoyed fellowship around the table.  What a great day!  When I came in from outside and turned on the news, the first thing I saw was the news about the bombings in Boston.  Then God gave me the message about wars.  God always has a way of working things out, I am so happy He is in charge and not anyone else.  Just a couple new folks to add to the prayer list.  For Sandy, she has been told she has lung cancer and it is too far gone to do anything with.  So we pray for healing and also for her soul, as I am not sure she is "born again."  Please also pray for Karen Mummert who is recovering from surgery to remove kidney stones.  I understand one was removed the size of a marble.  Folks, Karen is my ex and all has been forgiven about the past, and the sin of the divorce has been removed by God.  Now she is my Christian sister.  Please remember we must forgive to be forgiven.  Now let me move to the message, Wars and Rumors of Wars.

Tuesday 4/15/13 Wars and Rumors of Wars (Day Two).

Matthew 24:6 - "There will be wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed.  Such things must happen, but the end is still to come."  (NIV)

Brothers and sisters, back when I was young, yes, go way back, as I was born in May of 1941 ... Now I do not remember much of anything about the war other than what I was told for the first years of my life, but I was told a lot after that.  As I grew and now remember back, I can remember how my pop would sit with his ear to the radio listening to the news.  That old radio would crack and make strange noises and my pop would tell my late brother and me to be quiet as he was listening to the news.  Most often it was on the war, and folks, that was World War Two.  I can remember how we would hear the "Air Raid" sirens go off during the night and I would be scared and cry.  Mamma and pop would turn off all the lights and pull the blinds.  The street lights would be turned off and a man with a big hat would walk up and down the street making sure the lights were off.  The man was called an "Air Raid Warden" if my memory serves me right.  Since that time as I grew up there have been many more was and I do not remember all of them, but until not too many years ago none had hit the United States, except for that time on December 7, 1941, when Pearl Harbor was bombed.  Do you remember that?

As I grew I was told by my mamma about the Bible, but as you all know I took a walk when mamma died.  But I do remember her talking about wars.  In Matthew in the words of Jesus it states ---

"There will be wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed."

Wow, there it is, right from the Bible, we will have was, and we will hear rumors of wars to come.  You do not need to go abroad anymore to hear these things, I mean right now we are involved in Afghanistan and we hear of rumors about Korea, and we still have troops stationed around the world on land and on the sea. But wait a few minutes here, for we now have and have been having wars right here in the Good Old USA.  The events in Boston yesterday just get us thinking again about 9/11/2001 and I pray we all do remember back to that day in September.  But you do not need to look back that far, you do not.  Look at some of our major cities and you will see wars.  You say, what am I talking about?  Just open your eyes and look around you, almost every night  just in our area, here in nice old Central Pennsylvania, there are shootings.  Between Lancaster, York, Lebanon, Harrisburg, and Carlisle, PA, you can about count on one or two of those each night.  Sad to say most is our youth and a lot is young "black on black" crime.  But not all of it.  We have cities that after ark you better not get on the wrong street for you might not get out.  Brothers and sisters, we have wars going on right here in America, right in our own neighborhoods, and why?  AND WHY?  God has been tossed out of schools, out of government buildings, and yes, even out of some homes.  When we don't invite Him in, we are tossing Him out.  Now look at these words again.

"There will be wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed."

Jesus is telling us not to be alarmed, but that is hard, folks, good advice, but hard for us to understand sometimes.  Jesus is telling us that these things will happen before He comes back.  Things like this do alarm us, folks, but we need to look at them as WARNINGS.  Each time we hear of events like this, or school shootings, Washington and all those politicians start wanting to make new laws.  WAKE UP DOWN THERE IN WASHINGTON, the laws are already written, GET OUT YOUR BIBLE and look at it.

Let me leave you today with this, God is my Fortress.

Psalm 18:2 - The Lord is my rock, my FORTRESS and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge.  He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.  (NIV)

Dear Father in Heaven, I know You are always here for us, I am sure today will bring many praying that might have not come to You for awhile.  Please swing open the door for them, as You have done for me and others often. Dear Lord, protect us today, be our fortress, and may we walk with You in all we do.  In Jesus' name, I give thanks and pray.  Amen.

Now go forth walking with God, and please do not fear, for God is near, hold onto each other, and again, here is an example of why we should show our love for each other and hug each other for we never know when we might get the all to go home or when the Lord might come back and take us all.  Now remember also to share your blessings ... Love ya.  Pass it on.

Monday 4/15/13 Wars & Rumors of Wars

Dear Father in Heaven, thanks for a great day, a truly wonderful day for most all of us, however, right now, dear Father in Heaven, I ask that You are with all those in Boston and all those who have been injured and with their families, heal wounds and be with families that have lost loved ones.  Please be with our president and all of or leaders as they come together again after bombs go off in Boston.  Now, Lord, if You will please bless me with a message, I would appreciate it.  In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Dear brothers and sisters, please pray and pray and pray for all those who are touched by the bombings, and yes, I am calling them that, that have happened again here in the United States of America in the city of Boston.  Today it has taken me awhile to get to the computer, and I will talk about that later, however, I could not get a subject from God, and now this happened.  Let me get going on Wars and Rumors of Wars.

Monday 4/15/13 Wars and Rumors of Wars

James 4:1 - What causes fights and quarrels among you?  Don't they come from your desires that battle within you?  2 You want something but don't get it.  You kill and covet, but you cannot have what you want. You quarrel and fight.  You do  not have, because you do not ask God.  (NIV)

Brothers and sisters, once again we see blood flowing on the streets of one of our cities and once again it is big enough to make the MAJOR news media.  No one is saying at this point what has caused this blood spilling mess.  No one wants to say the bomb word.  However!!

Before I really get into this, our Congress stopped what they were doing, and while not naming what caused the event, they stopped for a moment of SILENCE!!  Take note, Congress people, this is what is wrong with this country, you have TOSSED GOD OUT!!!!  You stop for a moment or minute of silence and you are afraid to call on God to help. I have said this other places, some people laugh at me.  I walked away from a board seat on the Museum of Bus Transportation for this same reason.  A moment of silence is, in my opinion, just not pleasing to our Lord God!  That is my opinion, you that agree might let me know.  Now back to the message.

With that said, brothers and sisters, God is in control and I pray He will let me write about wars and rumors of wars all week.  For today, let's look at James Chapter Four for a minute.  What causes fights and quarrels?  According to James they come from desires that battle within us.  It goes o to say we do not get something we want.  From the gun crimes in a neighborhood where someone takes a handgun and sticks someone else up, they are wanting something they do not have or did not get.  You move it to the large scale, think about it now, people doing things like happened today have an agenda, they are trying to prove their point.  At this time we do not know what those who planted bombs today want, and yes, I am calling them bombs, and time will tell the Bible is correct.  I know that now because the BIBLE IS ALWAYS CORRECT!  The book of James goes on to tell us, "You kill and covet, but you cannot have what you want.  You quarrel and fight."  People did not understand it then, and people do not understand it today, they do not.  Wars and rumors of wars, and we are not to worry and I will give scriptures on that later this week, however, we do have concerns.  In closing up on this message today I am again going back to James.  "You do not have, because you do not ask God."  We do not have, because we did not ask God.  Again here you need to know I am talking about our nation as a whole, but I will add this, and you all know I speak my mind.  IF THE SHOE FITS, WEAR IT!!

Dear Father in Heaven, I am going to speak out for You, and Lord, protect this message as it goes out.  Protect it, watch over it, and know this, dear Lord, I am not going to be silenced because of You.  I am standing with You in all things, Lord Jesus, because I love You.  Thanks for dying for me.  In Jesus' name, I pray.  Amen.

Brothers and sisters, out of my cold dead hand they will need to take my Bible.  Now please share your blessings and know that Jesus loves you and I love ya.  Pass it on.

Wed/Thur 4/10-11/13 Pick A Side 2

Dear Father in Heaven, Thanks for another night, and Father, thanks for watching over all on this line and who use the line.  Thanks for looking after Curtis, and Lord, please look after and take care of Grant.  Father in Heaven, thanks for helping us with Marvin, and please heal him, please, Lord.  Father in Heaven, please help me with the message today, I still do not know, Lord, what happened to the one I wrote yesterday.  Please protect this.  In the name of Jesus, I pray.  Amen.

Dear brothers and sisters, it is Thursday and a beautiful day here at the Southern Location of the North Pole.  I did write a message Wednesday (yesterday) in the evening, and it took a long time.  I have no idea what happened to it.  I hit the send key and it went, but I never got my copy so it must be out there in computer land someplace.  Please keep praying for Curtis and also for Grant.  Also pray for Marvin.  Marvin is my personal "cat" and he is big and beautiful.  He got sick yesterday and is in the animal hospital in Carlisle.  My dear cat is named after Marvin "Neil" Enloe, singer/songwriter.  Let me get to the message, Pick A Side Day 2.

On Tuesday I asked the question as I closed out for the day, "Is there anything the same about Heaven and Hell?"  The answer is yes, there is, and it is they both are eternal, or forever.  Please check out in the scriptures below, taken from the scriptures used on Tuesday.  Please check it out right below.

Heaven

John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."  (NIV)

Hell

2 Thessalonians 1:9 - They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the majesty of His power.  (NIV)

Again today I want to quote my dear friend Sterling who states often, "You win some and you lose some and the rest come out even."  Now folks, when it comes to Heaven or Hell, there is no middle ground.  You either make Jesus your Savior and go to Heaven or you don't take Jesus as your Savior and you go to that old lake of fire, Hell.  The choice is up to us. Now who did I say needs Jesus?  Only those wanting to go to Heaven and of course have some great benefits along the way.  Check these scriptures about sin.

Romans 5:12 - Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned.  (NIV)

Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.  (NIV)

Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.  (NIV)

So now we know for a fact that there is no middle ground, you cannot sit on the fence and get into Heaven.  You can sit on the fence and get into Hell.  In life, in fact every day of our lives we make choices, some are very important, some are not, and a lot of them are things you just do automatically.  Let's look at a few of each today.

Just a few of the important choices that we make daily. Number one I think it, are we going to walk with God today, and I pray you do it each day and I pray you talk often to Him.  I pray also that you listen for Him to talk to you.  You do know that although you confess to loving Him, you on your own can fall from grace.  Other choices that you make daily concern taking care of others, taking care of pets, taking care of your loved ones and also yourself.

Here are a few choices that you make often but maybe not everyday.  Yo look over your bills and decide which to pay and when.  You know you must eat, each day you need to make a choice what you are going to eat.

Here are a few you might make weekly.  They deal with going to church or going to work.  With kids it might be going to school.  Yes, we have choices, and we need to make all of them, good choices.

We also have choices that we make without thinking, like going to the potty.  God wakes us in the middle of the night to go to the potty, and during the day He reminds us also when it is time to go.  We make choices when we drive, if we speed we "get to pay the man."  Choices, choices, choices, and now I am telling you, you need to make a choice about where you want to spend forever time after you pass from this world, after you have bought the farm, kicked the old bucket.

Tomorrow, on Friday, a day we call Salvation Friday, I am going to give you some scriptures that will help you make the most important choice of all time ... Picking Heaven or Hell.  While I pray most on this line are saved, I know that some might not be.  So please come back tomorrow and let's get together and make a good choice and set our plans down for sure on getting into Heaven.

Dear Father in Heaven, thanks for providing for us a way to get into Heaven to be with You forever and ever after we depart from here.  I love You, Jesus.  And I pray in Your Name.  Amen.

Now go forth and share your blessings, and please be back tomorrow when we again make some choices.  I love ya ... pass it on.

Friday 4/12/13 Pick A Side 3

Dear Father in Heaven, thank You so much for another good day.  Thanks for the rain this morning, and thanks for watching over all on this line and those who use it.  Thanks for watching over those on our prayer list and thanks for looking after our family and our ministry team and their families.  And dear Lord, thanks for watching over Marvin, and please keep Your healing hand upon him.  Dear Lord, thanks for trusting we in Carry The Light Ministries and those who support the Ministries to work for You.  Please help me now with the message.  In Jesus' name I give praise and send my prayers.  Amen.

Brothers and sisters, we had a nice rain here at the Southern Location of the North Pole.  Please keep praying for those we have been praying for and please keep our son Matthew in your prayers.  Matthew is still in the hospital and has been there since early November 2012.  Please keep praying for Curtis and also his parents.  Be with my friend Grant.  Also please keep praying for Marvin.  Vicki also needs prayers.  I have mentioned this before, and I want to be sure all of you are aware of this.  One of the ministries of Carry The Light is the food pantry.  Just so all of you know, if YOU NEED FOOD HELP, we will be here for you.  Just call at 717 691 8200.  We take no support from our government so we can not just feed the body, but we can also feed the soul.

Do any of you belong to the Gideons or know of anyone who does?  Carry The Light Ministries needs Bibles (new or gently used) to give to those coming for food that do not have Bibles.  The Gideons Bible is a very good Bible.  Okay, time to get to the message, Pick A Side.

Salvation Friday, 4/12/13: Pick A Side Day 3.

I keep thinking of Sterling's saying, "you win some and you lose some and the rest come out even," and the title of the messages this week which I called "Pick A Side."  When I look back to my days of pickup baseball at the "Luce Street" playground I think of how we picked sides.  Two guys, most often the best of those at the field, would pick the sides.  They would do this thing with a bat to see who was going to get first pick.  One thing for sure, no one could be on both sides, and in this case your side was picked for you.  I know I was not a good ball player, for I was most often picked last, or next to last.  As other kids would show up, one would go to one side and one to the other side.  Now how did this remind me of my message "Pick A Side"?  On the ball team you really could not pick the team you wanted on, you were picked in turn by those team captains.  I guess I should have been upset for neither team really wanted me.  But I loved to play.

Now let's talk about Heave and Hell.  Jesus, the leader of, and Satan heads up Hell.  Well, folks, it is different for me, for now, both want me.  Yes, for sure, my dear Jesus wants me to come to Him and get into Heaven.  The proof on that is Jesus died on the cross to give me a chance to give up my sinful ways and come to Him.  And we all know that Satan is wanting us all the time.  So we have a choice to make here, we must go to one side or the other, for if we just hang out in the middle we will got o Satan's side.

All of us for sure have done enough to get to Satan's side for we all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.  We are all sinners.  I gave those scriptures yesterday, but just let me remind you of them.

(NIV)

Now, let's get ready for Heaven.  And it is great to be really wanted by Jesus, and when I think that He died for me, I find that to be Amazing Grace.

While there are a lot of scriptures pointing us to Salvation through Jesus and lining us up to go to Heaven, here are but three of them.

John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.  17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world but to save the world through Him."  (NIV)

John 14:6 - Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through me."  (NIV)

Acts 16:31 - They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.  (NIV)

Romans 10:9 - That if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.  (NIV)

Okay, time to pick, to pick a side.  Well, I sure hope and pray that you have done that a long time ago, and for sure if you have been on this line with me, I pray you have picked the Heaven side.  If you have been reading my messages for years and I have not got that to you yet, then I am failing in my work for Jesus.

Before we go to prayer to ask God to forgive us and to set us free of our sins, I want you to hear this again.  To be forgiven by our Lord Jesus, we must forgive those who have sinned against us (Lord's Prayer).

Also, if you say you love Jesus and yet you hate someone, then according to the Bible, you are a liar.  Read 1 John 4:7/21.  Okay, are you ready to confess your sins this day and either invite Jesus into your heart if you are a first-timer, of if you are a BORN AGAIN, then will you just renew and clean up those sins?  Remember, please, this is an "I" prayer, not a "we" prayer.  I can only lead you.

Dear Father in Heaven, please, Lord, clean me of my sins, I confess that I am a sinner and only can be saved by the blood of my dear Jesus.  Please, Father, I do believe that Jesus died for me on the cross and that He was risen from the dead.  I also want to work for You, Jesus, as our Bible tells us to.  Save me, Lord, in Jesus' name.  Amen.

Go forth now, and serve Jesus, walk in His light, and share those blessings.  Love ya.  Pass it on.
