Tuesday 10/23/12 Happy Days 2

Dear Father in Heaven.  Thank You, Thank You, Praise You, Lord, I give You all the glory for our newborn and ask Your blessings upon him.  Lord, You worked all things out so perfectly, and to You all honor and glory.  Please keep watching over Vicki, Ruby, Patsy, Burt, and Barbara.  Again, we give You honor and glory as we give praise and pray in the wonderful name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.  Amen.

Good Tuesday and I think it is evening after a long, long couple of days.  Dolores and I have been blessed again with another kid.  This little guy was named after me, he is indeed our "Danny Boy Lehman".  Please read the message today to find out just how God has blessed us.  I will get to the message; it is late.

Happy Days 2:  10/12/20.

It was and is a true Happy Day for Dolores and I as we indeed have a brand new kid and indeed we have named it "Danny Boy Lehman".  As I tell  you how this story unfolds, I do want to tell you that the above scripture will play out.  Truly, "The Lord's right hand has done mighty things!"  Pay attention to this true story that brought forth this Happy Day, here at the Southern Location of the North Pole.

On Sunday after our church service at the Bridges, Dolores and I took a drive to Hershey, PA, where we placed a "donation can" at the side of an antique pickup truck that the museum folks will be filling with food and toys for Carry The Light Ministries.  God's right hand was already on us, and even though the food drive did not start until Monday, the truck already had food and toys in it.  Count the blessings as you go through this, please.  We were going to stop to eat but instead decided as we drove just to come on home and make our lunch.  God's right hand was on our trip as we made it back safe and sound and we had plenty here to eat.  Please keep counting the blessings as we lead up to our new "Danny Boy Lehman."  After eating I took a rest and put on my television to watch a little auto racing.  Yes, I like to watch cars make four left turns.  However, the rest did not last long as I wanted to hook up our truck to our trailer to get ready to deliver food carts on Monday.  So I went out and hooked the two together and all the lights worked from the truck to the trailer, another blessing because the lights on the old, old trailer worked.  Then I looked at the trailer, which was under the trees, and it was just too dirty to be shown doing God's work, so He gave me the strength to wash it, and while I was at it the truck also.  Done at last ... Are you still counting the blessings?  Then I went up and looked over our animals, and yes, and now the truth starts to come forth, our little Janie was looking like she was going to give birth.

I came into the house and put in a call to Grant and Wanda, knowing they were on the road singing and would return my call when they arrived home.  Keep counting blessings, and yes, you may count those of Grant and Wanda for the concert and the safe ride.  Now Grant was planning to come to the Southern Location of the North Pole on Monday and we were going to work on lights needing to be done to finish the work on Santa's House, for the upcoming dedication of the building to the Lord.  When Grant called me back, I told him there was a change of plans and we must work on another building on our lot, one that houses Janie, Johnny, Jere, Sarah, and little Crockett.  And I asked Grant to bring some nails and such.  We said goodnight, and I laid back and talked to God and fell asleep.

Monday morning I rose at 3:00 AM as I wanted to get out the message, clean up the house some, and get ready for the arrival of Grant.  When Grant arrived, he along with Dolores and myself got into the truck pulling the trailer and set out to deliver most of the food carts to places where food would be collected for the food pantry.  Six carts were placed and we headed home.  Are you still counting blessings?  We arrived back safely and Grant and I went to work getting this building ready.  (Grant worked, I carried tools and got in the way.)  Now please keep counting the blessings, as we go forth.  An inside support wall had to be removed but first we built a new wall, these walls go halfway up in the building, and Grant worked very hard, as I held things, and did the best I could not to mess up his great work.  God has truly given the Crocketts a gift of working with wood among other things.  By the way, Wanda was busy taking a friend to the doctor so Grant had to put up with me as a helper, and trust me when I say, my gift is not with a hammer and saw.  Okay, the building is finished and we went and sat down for a lunch of a put-together Santa meal, and folks, that is a gift God gave me.  Keep counting blessings as we give all this glory to God.  Grant left as he had singing practice, and I did some cleanup and came in the house and laid across the bed for an hour.  Then I went out to check on Janie and she was pushing some, so I called our animal veterinarian and alerted her I might need her help.  So I went about getting an extension and a light that would not burn hay.  Hey, I don't want to burn hay.  I came up and when I got near the pen I heard this slight cry.  I went in the building and went into panic mode.  There was our baby kid (now you know) and it was laying on its side and a mess and I thought she had trouble.  I called our vet, she told me to get towels and get into the pen and wipe the baby down and keep it warm and she was on her way.  I did as she said, I got those towels, and headed for the building, Dolores coming after me.  When I arrived, God's right hand was on the baby, mother had it all washed up and we just watched.  Soon our vet arrived and examined them and helped board up the outside door to the pen, so as to keep our little one in.  Dr. Heather picked up our kid, turned it over, and we named it Danny Boy Lehman.  Are you still counting blessings?  What joy, what a happy day when we saw that little one breathe in God's air, although the smell of God's air is altered a tad in the goat house.

Now that ended Monday night, and you are still counting the blessings, right?  Now, Johnny, Jere, Sarah, and Crockett had to spend the night outside as Janie and Danny were shut in the house.  It was not to rain, but folks, weather people only try and guess what God is doing, and it rained.  Tuesday morning, Grant and Wanda came to see Danny Boy and sprang into action and they put in another wall in the building so the others could get in out of the rain.  They had appointments and so did we so we gave each other hugs and Dolores and I headed out to one of her doctors, trailer in tow, and when done at the doctors, we set off the remaining food carts and returned home.  Safe, sound, and tired ...

Oh, by the way, our kid "Danny Boy" was up and walking in forty-five minutes, and his little tail was going like a windmill, as he was eating away.  Now please pray for our little guy, for as you know, the first days are the toughest, and in just a week or so, he will be with the others.  (Unless I can talk Dolores into letting me keep him and his mamma in the house.)  Don't laugh, Sarah and Crockett were both in the house for awhile, however, our food pantry has grown and there is no more room so he must stay in the barn.  (Gosh, where have we heard a story like that?  No room, sent to the barn!)

Gosh, I love our Lord God, and I want to repeat this scripture again ...

Psalm 118:15 - Shouts of joy and victory resound in the tents of righteous:  "The Lord's right hand has done mighty things!"  (NIV)

Praise be to God, Thanks to You, dear Jesus.

Dear Father in Heaven, we give thanks for Your Son and His right hand being on us all day.  To You all honor and glory in the name of Jesus.  Amen.

Now go forth and share your blessings as I have just shared with you, just a few, a very few of the last couple days.  Rejoice, it indeed is a HAPPY DAY.  Love ya, Pastor Dan.
