Monday 8/6/12 Salvation Week 1

Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.  (NIV)

Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.  (NIV)

Good Salvation Week, Monday Morning, to all of you, my dear brothers and sisters.  I have asked the Lord to please give me messages all week on Salvation, Salvation through Jesus Christ.  So each morning this week we are going to start with prayer and ask to be clean.  Our other prayers will also go on.  Let's get clean ...

Dear Father in Heaven, please, please, dear Lord, wash us white today, clean us up, and help us walk this day, this week, and forever more with You.  In Jesus' name we pray and give thanks knowing that with our faith, this prayer has been answered.  Amen.

Now folks, Monday and we pray for our President and I ask all of you to really pray that President Obama comes to Jesus.  I know some will get on my case about this statement, and I am not judging if he will get into heaven, but I will make this statement.  You just cannot be Christ-like, which is what being a Christian means.  Search your own soul, brothers and sisters, and tell me, if you believe in gay marriage, if you believe that it is okay to abort a baby without a REAL medical problem, then you need to look deep into the Bible and see what God really wants.

This is also the day we pray for all of our leaders and of course our veterans and our current military, plus police, firefighters, etc.  Please keep praying for our son Matthew.  We still do not know where he is, however, our daughter Leann saw him on Sunday morning and talked to him for awhile.  Matthew really needs God's help.  Leann asked him, told him to please call home, and of course that did not happen.

Okay, Salvation week.  It is time that I go over the rules of salvation according to the Bible, not according to what you might hear or what you might read in some books, but the plan of Salvation backed by scripture.  Please remember that this is going on all week, and if at any time you need to talk to someone about your salvation, you may feel free to call me.  This is so important, here is my cell phone number, please program it in your phone ... Pastor Dan - 717 991 0754.  Anytime, day or night, only off when I am preaching or doing a service for the Lord.

Salvation Week (Day One).  Okay, who needs salvation?  Salvation, brothers and sisters, only comes through Jesus Christ.  Who Needs it?  Only those who want to go to heaven after they pass from this earth.  Your other choice, or by not choosing heaven, your final home will be Hell ... Can I say it any clearer?  We need salvation because we are sinners, all of us, folks, each and every one.  How do I know that?  My Bible tells me so.

Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.  (NIV)

This scripture does not say all have sinned except pastors or all have sinned except Dan or all have sinned except you or me ... The Bible tells us that all have sinned and because of our sins we fall short of the glory of God.  So all this week we are going to work our way to the cross.  At any time you want to jump ahead, here it is again ... Pastor Dan - 717 991 0754.  In the next few days I will have a few others that you might call and talk to about your personal salvation.  I need a few pastors and others who will be willing to talk to people about salvation to email me with a phone number, etc.  So now that we know we all need Jesus to get into heaven, let's move forward.  One more step today.

Get paid for being a sinner?  Yes, you heard me, you can get paid to be a sinner.  Look, I am not making this up, this is in the Bible, folks.  Here it is ...

Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.  (NIV)

So we see in Romans, the wages of sin is death.  Yes, we get wages of sin, we just need to die to collect it.

But there is a gift, a free gift from God that is free, but was not cheap, so please don't get it mixed up.  This free gift is a person, His name is Jesus, and He gave His life for our freedom.  Tomorrow we look at our next step.  Please come back.

Dear Father in Heaven, please keep us clean and tuning in each day for You, not for my message but Your word, please send it out on this line, use me, dear Lord. In Jesus' name, Amen.  All glory and honor to You, dear Lord.  Amen.

Now go forth and share your blessings.  Love ya, Pastor Dan.
