Friday 8/3/12 Learning to Reap

Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.  (NIV)

Good Friday afternoon, my dear brothers and sisters.  Being Friday, it is the day we pray for all those who have honored God and His commandments to "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation." So we pray today for all those who go into the world with the good news.  Please be sure to pray for Dan Stoner and his family and for all those pastors, singers, missionaries, and all who go into the fields.

Prayers also for the Deardorff family in the loss of their mother Betty.  Please keep praying for our son Matthew.  We still have heard nothing.  Pray for Wanda and Grant and also Dave and Joanne as they travel.

I want all of you to know your prayers on this line and your being a prayer warrior on this line are really appreciated. God does hear all our prayers.

Dear Father in Heaven, please wash us clean, wash us white as snow and help us to repent of our sins.  In Jesus' Name, Amen.

You Reap What You Sow!  Yesterday I finished up on the subject of "You Reap What You Sow!"  Except for one part of it.  It is the part about your personal salvation.  And yes, you reap just what you sow when it comes to your salvation. I do not want to start on this today, I want to work on it next week.  So today it will be short.  The scripture of today ...

Romans 3:23 - For ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

This tells me that each and every one of us need to be sowing some good seeds for our Salvation.  So next time we are going to tackle "learning to reap" a plan of Salvation for all of us.  Remember, Salvation is free for us, but by far not cheap, for Jesus gave His life for our salvation.

Dear Heavenly Father, please help us get ready to make a plan for our salvation through Jesus.  And we want to look at it through scripture, so please, Lord, ready my mind for this assignment next week, and please open minds and hearts to hear this word of God ... Also please answer our prayers according to Your will for us.  In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Now go forth and share your blessings.  Have a blessed weekend, my dear brothers and sisters.  Love ya, Pastor Dan.
