May 16, 1941 - 2011 = 70

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

What a way to start the week, by calling all of us sinners, and saying we all fall short of the glory of God. Good Morning, my dear brothers and sisters, and welcome to Monday, and to a brand new week of lifting and praising God. This week, an all week review on how to get to heaven. Who needs to know the steps to get to heaven? All of those who really don't want to go to HELL! Now that is about as plain as I can put it today. Today is also the day we pray for our leaders and for all of our military, past and present, veterans and current military. Today please pray for safety for our president and his family. Also pray for Pennsylvania's Governor as he has back surgery this morning.

Oh, and that fancy thing on the subject line today... May 16, 1941-2011 = 70 is noted for it is the birthday of "Santa Claus".

Yes, brothers and sisters, I have called all of us sinners, each and everyone of us. So this week, I want to take a review of what you must do to get into heaven and who has made that trip possible. What has been done to save our sorry backsides from going the other way. We sure have not deserved what God has done for us, by sending His Son to us, but wait, I don't want to get ahead of myself.

I do want to tell you this, and it is in the Bible. Did you know we get paid for being a sinner? In these days of wages that are slow, or low or even nothing... I want to point you to the place in the Bible where it tells us we get paid for our sins...

Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death!

So you want some wages, just keep sinning, but remember that the wages are death...
