Dear Father in Heaven: I love You very much. Thanks for all You do for us including forgiving us when we mess up. Please forgive me of my sins and sinful thinking. Please, Lord, watch over "Little Joseph", and Lord, thanks for a great day. Be with the others on our prayer list. Thanks for great time singing today, Lord. Lord, please place now on my tiny little mind a message for this day and then help me to dispatch it. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.
Dear brothers and sisters: I am having trouble staying awake today for some reason. I know I have not been sleeping well at night, concern about our cutting back on the work we do for the Lord. (And I stopped here until Friday; just had to rest.)
Thursday/Friday: August 28-29, 2014, Greatest Commandment (Day Three)
Matthew 22:34 - Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. 35 One of them, an expert in the law, tested Him with this question: 36 "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" 37 Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." (NIV)
Brothers and sisters, I want to pick up where I left off Wednesday. I was going over the Ten Commandments and pointing out that in my opinion if we truly follow the Greatest Commandment, and I mean really follow it, it covers the original Ten Commandments. I invite your opinion.
Exodus 20:14 - "You shall not commit adultery." (Seventh Commandment)
Exodus 20:15 - "You shall not steal." (Eighth Commandment)
Exodus 20:16 - "You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor." (Ninth Commandment)
(All NIV)
Let me group these three together and just say a few things about these:
Adultery does not just mean you went to bed with someone, you could just be thinking about it, for, and this is scary, God knows what we are thinking. That would be the seventh commandment. Yes, your thinking counts.
Stealing is stealing!! In God's eyes if you rob a bank, rob a stagecoach (I just had to slide one in once in awhile), rob the Amish men in a buggy as did happen last week, or just take home a few rolls of tape or nuts and bolts from your workplace, that would be stealing. Don't take it if it does not belong to you. And that would be the eighth commandment.
If you give false testimony against your neighbor. This, brothers and sisters, is not just in court, this is also when standing in your yard talking about someone. Yes, it is called gossip. Do we tell some things to underage children that are what we call "little white lies?" Yes, and I might be really held to task about Santa. We did use that to tell the children about Jesus. Also when kids would ask me if I was the "real Santa" I would say, softly, I am as real as it gets. There are other little things we should tell young children until they become of the right age to know them.
Anyway, on all of these commandments if we follow the Great Commandment and we love God with all our heart, soul, and mind, and we love our neighbor, and I think if we truly did that, and followed those Great Commandments, we would not break those three.
Exodus 20:17 - "You shall not covet your neighbor's house. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor." (NIV)
On today's market it should read about like this. "You shall not covet your neighbor's house. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his Cadillac, Lincoln, his house, garage, or even his woodpile." Sometimes it is hard to look at your neighbor's house, maybe they put on an addition, and you look at theirs and want to add onto your house. The thinking here is about evil, if you are not being evil, just adding because you also need space, that's okay. Say you like his car, and you look at it and then you purchase one, that is not coveting, unless you are doing it just to show off. What the Bible talks about coveting, means doing it for evil. These commandments tie together a lot, and this the tenth commandment surely is covered by the Great Commandment.
While I truly believe we need to learn and study those original commandments and all other commands in the Bible, I truly believe that if we are walking in love with Jesus, with all our heart, soul and mind, and we truly love our neighbors, and remember a neighbor can be across the street, or on the other side of town or across the great oceans. Your neighbors come in all shapes, sizes, and colors. Yes, we need to love God and love all our neighbors. With that said, I once again say that if you really follow that Great Commandment you have the others covered.
After going over all those commandments and talking about them, I just want to say this. PRAISE GOD FOR OUR LORD JESUS who died to save us from our sins. Someone shout AMEN.
In my messages this week, and while preaching and being a pastor, there are two things I've really tried and will keep trying to get across to all those people whom I witness to. I try and tell them about Salvation through Jesus, and Love, loving God and loving your neighbor. I also want to point out that love is not sex. And of all the gifts that God has given us, "LOVE IS THE GREATEST!"
Well, it is time to wrap up this week.
So go forth now and share your blessings. Have a great Labor Day and God willing I will be back writing next Tuesday. Love ya, and please share my love with others.

Wednesday 8/27/14 Greatest Commandment 2
Dear Father in Heaven: I love You very, very much. Please forgive me of my sins this day. Thank You for watching over family and friends. Thanks for watching over our online flock and also our flock at The Bridges. Father in Heaven, please heal little Joseph and take care of him. Lord, be with the following families this day for in each family someone needs Your touch: Saylor, Emig, Crockett, Lehman, Hale, Beitzel, McNellis, Obama, Corbett, Fortney, and so many more. Lord, touch Sharon and Oliver, Tom and Dianne. Today, Lord, is Salvation Wednesday on this line. Please lead us to the lost so we can try our best to lead them to You. Please, Lord, help me with the message and then help me to dispatch it. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.
Brothers and sisters, I have listed a lot of family names above, for in each family someone needs the touch of God, and in some of the families all need that touch, while others are people who are just on my mind that I have not heard from for a long time. Please pray for "little Joseph" which is the way I will be listing him. Also, I have asked for your prayers for Dolores and me, as we are in a lot of pain and we must make some adjustments in what we do. I WILL KEEP YOU INFORMED. Some of you have been with me on this line for over 20 years. Now let me get started with the message.
Salvation Wednesday: August 27, 2014, Greatest Commandment (Day Two)
Matthew 22:34 - Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together.
Brothers and sisters, I want to pick up where I left off yesterday. I was going over the Ten Commandments and pointing out that in my opinion if you truly follow the Greatest Commandment, and I mean really follow it, it covers the original Ten Commandments. I invite your opinion.
Exodus 20:8 - Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10a but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. (NIV)
This one might be the hardest for me to bring to light. If you recall Jesus healed on the Sabbath. Let me support that with Scripture.
Luke 14:1 - One Sabbath, when Jesus went to eat in the house of a prominent Pharisee, He was being carefully watched. 2 There in front of Him was a man suffering from dropsy. 3 Jesus asked the Pharisees and experts in the law, "Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath or not?" 4 But they remained silent. So taking hold of the man, He healed him and sent him away. 5 Then He asked them, "If one of you has a son or an ox that falls into a well on the Sabbath day, will you not immediately pull him out?" 6 And they had nothing to say. (NIV)
So what day really is the Sabbath for us? Most Christians call Sunday their Sabbath; however, if you go by our calendar, would the Sabbath not be Saturday? The Bible tells us that for six days we shall labor and do all your work. I think if we truly follow the Great Commandment and you truly love Jesus, you will want to please and honor our Lord Jesus keeping each day holy and indeed take a day to rest. We have animals that require a lot of daily care. So we need to build in rest during the week, something that I never learned how to do. God once again has me writing a message to everyone, but maybe more so to me. So brothers and sisters, please keep each day, loving on Jesus and walking in His light, and He indeed will see you get rest. That is Commandment four.
Exodus 20:12 - Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you. (NIV)
Brothers and sisters, if we truly follow the Great Commandment, loving God and loving your neighbor, I think this is really covered. If you do not love and honor your parents, how could you truly love God? Commandment five covered. Do you agree?
Let's do one more today.
Exodus 20:13 - You shall not murder. (NIV)
To me this is a no-brainer!! How could you say you love God and love your neighbor and then murder someone? First, let me clear a few things up. Killing in the act of war is not murder. A police officer who kills someone to protect himself or others has not murdered. But abortion is murder, for God indeed knew us before we were in the womb. In fact since the abortion is planned, I would say it was premeditated murder. Do you agree with me on that? This dear baby named Joseph could have been aborted, but this mamma chose to raise him. Baby Ally who we prayed for, for a long time, a Downs Syndrome child, brings so much joy to all she meets, she is a child of God. Thanks, Jim and Beverly, for bringing this dear child into our lives here at Carry The Light Ministries, and more so what is required of all of us when it comes to seeing the child through birth and then taking care of them. I love all of you.
And that takes care of the sixth Commandment.
So let me stop here for this day and say to all of you once again ... go forth now sharing your blessings, and know that I love ya. Please take time to share my love as you share the love of Jesus on this Salvation Wednesday.

Mon/Tues 8/25-26/14 Greatest Commandment
Dear Father in Heaven: I love You. Thanks for a great weekend. Thanks for helping with decisions. Please, Lord, heal (name withheld), Lord, and Lord, You know who I am praying for to be healed. Lord, please protect our country from ISIS, protect our President and other leaders. Lord, please wake our nation up. Lord, I pray for Your return. Please bring worldwide peace. Lord, please help Dolores and me in what will be a very busy week. Lord, I need You to touch my body. Please, please take away some pain. Lord, please help me now with the message and then help me dispatch it. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
Dear brothers and sisters: I think people really need to think about what they post on Facebook. Please, folks, before you put it out, know this, you cannot get it back. Sort of like what you say with your mouth. You cannot take it back. But on Facebook, the world can see it. I want to get right to the message this week. In the very near future, I will be laying out a new look for the message. I want to write it more on time and keep it a tad shorter each day. Really!!
Dolores and I really need prayers. Today at our pain doctor, my left knee was drained of 100cc of bloody fluid and injected again. Pray that this helps.
Monday/Tuesday: August 25-26, 2014, Greatest Commandment (Day One)
Matthew 22:34 - Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. 35 One of them, an expert in the law, tested Him with this question: 36 "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" 37 Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." (NIV)
Brothers and sisters, I truly believe that if we follow the "Two Greatest" Commandments you will have covered The Ten Commandments. Let me cover a few each day and you let me know if you think I am correct.
Exodus 20:3 - "You shall have no other gods before me." (NIV)
If we truly love the Lord our God with all of our heart, soul, and mind, how could you have any other god before God The Father, and God The Son? You just could not. So Commandment number one is covered by The Great Commandment.
Exodus 20:4 - "You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath, or in the waters below. 5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God." (NIV)
Again, I feel that commandment two is covered by The Great Commandment. For if you truly love our Lord God with all your heart, soul, and mind, how could you bow down to anyone else? This also tells me that our Lord God should always be number one in all we do.
Let's do one more today.
Exodus 20:7 - "You shall not misuse the Name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses His name."
This means we should not curse. You can see right here that our Lord God will punish us for this. Yes, we will be judged guilty. Now we go to that Great Commandment. If you love The Lord our God with all your heart, soul, and mind, how could we consider using His Name as a swear word? If you have done this you need to be praying for forgiveness. Again, I think Commandment Three is covered by the Great Commandment.
What is your opinion so far?
Now go forth and share your blessings. Love ya. Please pass on my love to others.
Pastor Dan

Friday 8/22/14 Repent & Walk 3
Dear Father in Heaven: Forgive me of my sins this day, and help me be better each day to politicians, as Lord, I was just very short with one who is pro-choice. Help me keep under control and walk tighter with You as I talk to these who want to have power over us, yet will not stand forth for You. Lord, I pray I will always stand firm for You and just calm down a tad when being that witness. Forgive me, Lord, for that. Lord, please now help us with decisions that need done. Be with us this weekend and help us. Now, Lord, please help me with the daily message and help me to get it dispatched. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.
Dear brothers and sisters: I just had a nice talk with a lady running for office in the 199th district for a Pennsylvania House seat. I did not do a good job being a witness for Jesus, even though my points were correct. I need to write a special on this one. I was correct in what I said for Jesus, I just did not point it out very well. I will send her an email telling her I am sorry for the way I presented myself and at the same time point out some scripture to her. Right now I have a foot to get out of my mouth. Let me get on with the message, Repent and Walk.
Friday, August 22, 2014, Repent and Walk (Day Three)
2 John 4 - It has given me great joy to find some of your children walking in the truth, just as the Father commanded us. 5 And now, dear lady, I am not writing you a new command but one we have had from the beginning. I ask that we love one another. 6 And this is love; that we walk in obedience to His commands. As you have heard from the beginning, His command is that you walk in love. (NIV)
Brothers and sisters, did you know that 2 John has only one chapter?
This letter was written to a Christian lady whose name is according to my footnotes unknown.
Here we find that John found great joy to know that some of her children were walking in the truth. This verse should bring just a "little" comfort to those of us who have children that might not all be walking in the truth, and of course the truth is the Word of God, and Jesus His one and only Son. I think all of us who have children want them all to be walking in the truth, and while some readers I am sure know that all their children are saved, some of us might not be sure. While I find great joy in knowing most of our children are saved, I would have greater joy, much greater joy, if I was sure about all of them.
Our Father in Heaven has commanded us to walk in truth, and I only wish that I would have started walking in truth earlier in my life so that my mamma and daddy had that joy in their life. Now my mamma might have had that joy, since I was a prodigal son and raised as a Christian, only to slip and slide after my mamma died. My daddy did not get to see my full return to Christ. So why write this? Maybe some children, like our son Matthew, might come back to Christ so we could see the joy.
Notice next that the command, not a new one, is that we should love one another. Last but surely not least on this scripture and to wind up this week, we are to "walk in obedience to His commands." And that for sure means we should repent and walk in love. It is not always easy. I never said it was, but it is what God wants all of us to do. So again I say this, try your very best to REPENT and WALK with Jesus. Amen.
Now go forth and share your blessings. Love ya. Please as you walk in love, share mine with others.

Thursday 8/21/14 Repent & Walk 2
Dear Father in Heaven: Please forgive me of my sins, and Lord, please help me to repent. Dear Father in Heaven, all glory and honor to you, Danelle is on the mend and there is no cancer, yes, all honor and glory to You. Lord, please be with Pastor Larry and all who are at camp this week. Please, Lord, help us with decisions as we move forward working for You. Lord, as schools are opening, please watch over our children. Please, Lord, take over in Ferguson, MO. Please also be with the family of the reporter that was beheaded. Lord, please bring peace to the world. And Lord, until You return, may we work each day for You. Now Lord, please help me with the message today and then help me to dispatch it. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.
My dear brothers and sisters, have you noticed that things are a mess worldwide? I am sure you have. It would be wonderful if the world would act and behave like those little leaguers that are playing in the Little League World Series in Williamsport. What great ladies and gentlemen these kids are. Then we travel to our midwest and see the other side of the coin. We see a pastor??? Al Sharpton getting people all hyped up. Not once, NOT ONCE have I never heard Reverend Sharpton tell folks about Jesus and how you get to heaven. Please, brothers and sisters, pray for me that above all else I will always preach, teach, write and talk about Salvation Through Jesus Christ our Lord, and pray for Reverend Sharpton to get his Bible out and preach the Word!
Praise report: Daughter Danelle is cancer free and on schedule in healing after surgery. God is good. My phone just rang. It was a wrong number and I witnessed to them ... God really is good!! I want to get to the message. Please be sure to PRAY and pray a lot.
Thursday: August 21, 2014, Repent and Walk (Day Two)
Matthew 4:17 - From that time on Jesus began to preach, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near." (NIV)
I talked about John The Baptist and his preaching repentance, now we look at Matthew 4:17 and it tells us that Jesus preached repentance. Brothers and sisters, we can pray over and over to be forgiven, and yes, I do this each day. We also need to repent and try very hard not to be repeating the same sins. Did you know that not one of us is worthy of getting into heaven? And none of us will get in without the help and workings of Jesus Christ. I just find it amazing how God who loved us so very, very much, gave us Jesus to die for us. Yes, for you and for me. I want to support that with scripture.
John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." (NIV)
But you might say, that was back then, back when Jesus did walk this earth. So how do we know it is still good today? I love this scripture.
Hebrews 13:8 - Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever. (NIV)
So with that scripture I have shown you how Jesus is the same. Still the same this day. Let's look at more scripture. I love scripture, do you?
Mark 6:12 - They went out and preached that people should repent. (NIV)
To really appreciate this you should read Mark 6:7 through 6:13. Jesus is gathered with His twelve disciples and giving them instructions to go out and witness and tell of course the "Good News" about Salvation. One thing I find interesting in the scripture is how Jesus sent them out "two by two." Did you ever stop and think about why He might have sent them out two by two? My footnotes in my Bible tell me "the purpose of going in pairs may have been to bolster credibility by having the testimony of more than one witness." I agree with that, but more so as Jesus looked ahead in time I think He set it up for our, meaning we who are the disciples of today, would not be able to witness alone, we needed to be two by two so that people cannot say we did something, when indeed we did not. To witness one to another is okay, when working with folks you know. I think you know where I am coming from, we want to be sure we are not falsely accused of something we did not do. I know when the Jehovah's Witnesses come they are always two by two, and the same with the Mormons. Always two together. By the way, before you speak down about those two religions, please remember they are doing what the Bible tells all of us to do. When I am outside and they are coming I always greet them near the street. We have three crosses on our front lawn, and fly the Christian flag above the American flag, so some of them will pas us by. But I love talking to them and telling them abut Jesus and about Salvation through Him. Yes, both the Mormons and the Jehovah's Witness folks tell me they love Jesus, and yes, I have prayed with them and trust that they are saved.
Micah 6:8 - He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. (NIV)
The prophet Micah tells us "to act justly and to love mercy and to WALK HUMBLY with our God. So we are being told to not just walk with God, but we are to walk HUMBLY with Him. We need to be humble in our walk. Tomorrow we will talk more about walking with Jesus. Please come back when we REPENT AND WALK ...
Now go forth sharing your blessings. Love ya. Please pass on my love to others.

Tues/Weds 8/19-20/14 Repent & Walk
Dear Father in Heaven: I love You very much. Please forgive me of my weaknesses and help me with my daily struggles. Thanks for watching over family, our flock at The Bridges, and our flock online. Please keep watch over Pastor Larry and Luella as they lead the services at camp this week. Please bless and keep all those who are attending. Please be with the family of Vicki in the passing of her mother. Please bring world peace, and please calm things in the St. Louis area. Please, Lord, comfort the family of the reporter that was beheaded by ISIS. Please touch Dolores and also me and take away some of our pain. And dear Lord, please help us to bring in the lost to be saved. Now, dear Father in Heaven, please help me with a message for this day and help me to dispatch it. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.
Greetings from the Southern Location of the North Pole. You can see all the folks listed in my prayer. Please pray for them. Please also pray for our President and for all of our leaders. Please pray for our veterans, current military, and for peace around the world. Pray for the events going on in Ferguson, MO, and for the parents of the black teen and also for the police officer who shot him. Last night bottles of urine were thrown on police officers. On Monday an 18 year-old youth was shot to death in Hall Manor, a section of Harrisburg, PA. This youth had four children, all under the age of two. I could go on and on. So I say to all of you who I call "prayer warriors" to pray and pray and pray. I need to get started on the message. I tried to start it on Tuesday evening, but I could not get myself together to write. So it will be a Tuesday/Wednesday writing and that means Salvation Wednesday is included.
Please pray for Dolores and me as we make decisions being caused by pain in our bodies. Let me get started with God's work.
Tuesday/Salvation Wednesday: August 19/20, 2014, Repent and Walk (Day One)
Matthew 3:1 - In those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the Desert of Judea 2 and saying, "Repent for the kingdom of heaven is near." 3 This is he who was spoken of through the prophet Isaiah: "A voice of one calling in the desert, 'Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.'" 4 John's clothes were made of camel's hair, and he had a leather belt around his waist. His food was locusts and wild honey. (NIV)
Brothers and sisters, what I pray I can get covered this week is about repenting and then walking with Jesus. I truly believe with all my heart and mind that this is what is wrong with the world today. People, all people including me, need to repent and walk nearer and nearer to Jesus. God started me with this scripture today, maybe because of all the people in the Bible, I think I fit the description of "John the Baptist" the best. In fact when the Couriers and others would sing the song about John the Baptist and I would be there, they would point to me. Why? Well,I do not get hair cuts, I at one time dressed like a biker in leather jackets and yes, around my waist holding up my pants was always a leather belt. No, I do not eat locusts, but I do enjoy some honey on my toast. With that said, let me say it like maybe John might have said it back in those days. "REPENT, FOR THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS NEAR." And yes, I put in those large letters because that is yelling according to some computer folks. John the Baptist did not have the benefit of speakers and sound equipment like we have today. However, I have a "loud mouth" anyway. (You do not need to shout AMEN on this.)
Brothers and sisters, you do not need the wild look like John the Baptist had or I have to tell people they need to repent for the "Kingdom of Heaven is Near." You just need to let God use you. Each of us has a different style and for a different time and even place. I suggest as you witness to others telling them they need to repent, be sure to tell them you had to do it and are still doing it. Remember the messages about judging? Sometimes it is just a quiet sit down with a friend and talking about things. We also need to get out from the church buildings and get the message to the street. I know of one church that at one time had a great Vacation Bible School program, but stopped the program saying they do not have small children in the church anymore. This church sits near several trailer parks where lots of children live. I remember at one time walking those trailer parks talking to parents about the best summer schools of all. Schools in the summer that can talk about Jesus. Each and every one of us needs to be a John the Baptist, or a Wanda the Baptist. (I used Wanda's name for the Wanda I know already reaches out to others.) Yes, ladies can witness as well and sometimes better than men. I do want you to remember that working as a "John the Baptist" of today, we can witness to people to repent, and then if we can, get them to a good church and let them be baptized at that church.
Think of this, you have seen the bucket challenge for ALS, what a great thing. What if that was done for the Lord? No, not with ice water, but if one did not have a pool to baptize, could it not be done with buckets of water? Just thinking out loud. Okay, I do need to wrap this message up for today. Please remember it is Salvation Wednesday and the day we work a little harder to witness for the Lord. Maybe we should all have a goal to witness to at least one person each day. Sometimes this could be Christians witnessing to each other. Let's face it, pastors go to conferences and there they witness to each other. Years ago when I went to conferences on school transportation, I would learn as much talking with others in my position at other schools after the classes or at breaks. We could share each other's ideas. When Christians get together they also could share with each other about the best way to witness to each other.
Tomorrow I will get into walking, and walking in the shoes of Jesus. Until then I would like you to think and pray about this. Until we walk in the shoes of others, we do not know what they are going through. Being white, with native American blood in me (American Indian), I have no idea what our black brothers and sisters really went through. I want you to really think about that. Maybe you are a person of color, for I have never seen all of you. I do know we have a lot of Native Americans on the line. I want you all to think what it is like walking in the shoes of others and in fact we do not know what it is like walking in shoes other than our own.
Dear Father in Heaven: Please, please, bring peace in this world, and please bless this message and help it reach others, and help them benefit from it. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.
Now go forth, sharing your blessings, being a witness for Jesus and on this day, try walking in the shoes of others. Love ya. And yes, please pass on my love to others.

Friday 8/15/14 Judging Others 4
Dear Father in Heaven: I love You very much. Thanks for a beautiful day, and thanks for taking care of this line and for taking care of families and friends. Thanks for Your hand upon our daughter Danelle. Please, dear Lord, be with Grant and Wanda as they go to church camp and with Pastor Larry as he leads some studies. Please, dear Lord, help with decisions that need made. Please be with our President and other leaders. Be in MO and intervene in what is going on. Lord, please bring peace around the world. Be with our troops, police, firefighters, and all others who work to keep us safe. Please help our country get out their Bibles and come to You, and please help them to remember the words of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Now, Lord, please help me with the message and then to get it dispatched. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.
Dear brothers and sisters: It indeed was a beautiful day here at the Southern Location of the North Pole. The world is in turmoil, our homeland is in trouble, there is fighting in Iraq. Christians are being killed. In MO there are riots in the streets over a white police officer shooting a black teenager. In Chicago there are black brothers and sisters killing each other. People are blaming lack of jobs, blaming homes without fathers. In my opinion it is one thing. We have turned from God. Time to come back. So instead of my listing a lot of people to pray for this weekend, let us agree to pray for all people to return to God and if already with God to get stronger in His word. Now let me finish out this series on Judging Others.
Friday: August 15, 2014, Judging Others (Day Four)
1 Peter 5: 7/11 - 7 Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you. 8 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 9 Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. 10 And the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. 11 To Him be the power for ever and ever. Amen. (NIV)
Brothers and sisters, as God has directed me to this scripture today, I would first like to thank my neighbor "Art" who has pointed me to a place online where I can pull up Bible verses and when I use long ones I can copy and paste them. It did take me a tad of time to wash the glue off the computer screen when I tried to paste them. Okay, kidding about that. Thanks, Art. I am blessed to have you as a neighbor.
The Bible tells us to "Cast all your anxiety on Him." Anxiety to me is caused by sin. It also tells us to be "self-controlled" and our real enemy is the devil. Folks, let's learn from that, our real enemy is Satan and not those neighbors, family members, and others that people are trying to judge. If we as Christians would all pull together, lock arms around each other, things would be much better. Now look at this part. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. That is so true as we look around this world. In fact, and think about this, in America right now we have it so good compared to other countries.
The Bible tells us after we suffered a little while, Jesus Himself will restore us all. So how about it tonight, will you join me in prayer giving all your sins over to Jesus who is still in control, still in the driver's seat? And then work very hard at not judging others.
Dear Father in Heaven, right now I cast all my sins over to You and I ask You to forgive me. Thanks, Lord, that I can return and find Your blood still flowing from Calvary and You are in control. Heal us now, please, of our sins and hurts. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
Now go forth and share your blessings. Jesus loves you, and I love ya also. Please pass on the love of Jesus and mine also.

Thursday 8/14/14 Judging Others 3
Dear Father in Heaven: I love You. Thanks for another great day, and thanks for bringing Danelle through her surgery. Please help her with healing. Please help with decisions that need made. Please, Lord, speak to my heart and mind. Lord, please be in MO and speak to the hearts of those who are doing the riots. Please speak to the heart of our President and guide him in what he is doing. Please, dear Lord, protect our homeland, and Lord, please, protect Your people in Iraq. Lord, I love You, please help me now with the message and then help me to dispatch it. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
Dear brothers and sisters, for a long, long time I would say to you, "If you want to use anything I write, it is okay, but forwarding it will not get you any extra blessings from me." I never used that saying forward it to ten others and a copy to me and you will be blessed. Our Good Lord hands out the blessings. HOWEVER. It is time for me to say this. I have a passion for Salvation through Jesus like I have never had before. If you think that things I write will help others come to Jesus to be saved, by all means, please send it to them. You can cut and paste just the message if you like. I think the way the world is, time is running short, and while I do not know when Jesus is coming back, I have a job to do and that is get the message out for God.
Daughter Danelle came through surgery well today, all honor and glory to God. I did not get a report on what was found, so please keep praying for her healing. Please continue to pray for Dolores and also for me. Now I must get to the message, Judging Others.
Thursday: August 14, 2014, Judging Others (Day Three)
Yesterday I left you with this statement:
Matthew 7:4 - "How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?"
So how can we do this? This is a very simple answer. WE CAN'T! While we think we can, we just cannot, so why do we even try? There is an answer for this.
Matthew 7:5 - "You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye." (NIV)
Okay, the simple answer for why we try to judge others is that we are "hypocrites." So we go to our verse for today, Matthew 7:5, and find out what Jesus wants us to do. First, before looking at others and starting to judge them, we need to take the speck out of our own eye. So what does that mean? It means just this, before looking over the sins of others we need to take care of our own sins. So how do we take care of our own sins? First we ask God to forgive us of our sins. Then we need to repent. So why repent? For that, let us go to ...
Matthew 3:1 - In those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the desert of Judea 2 and saying, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near."
Matthew 4:17 - From that time on Jesus began to preach, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near." (Both NIV)
While the messages about repenting are for another day, I just needed you to see that we must repent of our sins, and again before we start that judging of others. Please do not get confused between judging others and talking to them about Salvation through Jesus. If we are going to lead people to the Lord, we must talk to them about going to Jesus, asking forgiveness of their sins, and repenting of them. I know I often tell others that I am a sinner saved only by the grace of God. Anyone who is trying to lead someone to Christ before they are saved really, really fits that hypocrite role that Jesus talks about. You see, if we clear away our sins, when we look at others, and if we are honest with ourselves, maybe our sins were worse than theirs. "When your own eyes are clear, you see things in a different light." (My quote)
Tomorrow, casting those sins away ... Now go forth and share your blessings. Love ya. And please pass on my love.
Pastor Dan

Wednesday 8/13/14 Judging Others 2
Dear Father in Heaven: I love You very much. Please wash my sins away and please keep Your hands on me healing me to repent of sins. Please be with Robert and Gale and help work out their marriage. Please be with Danelle as she has surgery on Thursday. Please be with Jean and watch over her. Dear Lord, thank You so very much for neighbors that stand together and pray right in our driveways. Please keep protecting our homeland and thanks for blowing that missile out of the way. Lord, please protect all those in the flood areas, and please, Lord, put a stop to the riots in our country. Lord, also, please lead us to the lost so we can reach out to them to be saved. Lord, please help me now with the message and then help me to dispatch it. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.
Dear brothers and sisters: It is Wednesday, and that means it is Salvation Wednesday on this line, the day we pray for the lost and that God will use us to lead the lost to Jesus to be saved. Did you see the news of the missile that was headed for Israel? It was missed by two ground-to-air missiles from the "Dome of Protection" that Israel has. Then a gust of wind blew the missile out of the populated area. GOD IS GOOD!! With that said, we need to keep praying for our homeland. We also need to be praying for our Christian brothers and sisters all over the world as the killing of them is growing. Also pray for the riots to stop. Seems there was a problem between a black teen and he was shot to death by police. Now a lot of folks are breaking into buildings and stealing televisions, tires, and wheels, etc., and burning businesses, thinking this is the right thing to do. That is so wrong. You want to know why we do not have a lot of stores inside our big city limits, just watch the news on this. Please pray for Danelle (Lehman) Davis, our daughter, who is having surgery tomorrow for some female problems. Pray also for Jean who lives in a retirement home and now has stopped eating. Please pray that she is saved. Please pray for our nation and our President and our military. Now let me get to the message, Judging Others.
Salvation Wednesday: August 13, 2014, Judging Others (Day Two)
Matthew 7:3 - "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?" 4 "How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plan in your own eye?" (NIV)
Brothers and sisters, I just love Salvation Wednesday, don't you? I just want to bring that up as it does blend into the message today. I ask this today of all of us, and I want you to note please that I said us, and that means not just you, but me also. You know our Lord Jesus spoke these words when He was walking the earth over in Israel, our homeland. Of course this is why I am asking for you to pray for Israel all the time for it indeed is our homeland, the place which was made by God and then where Jesus was born of a virgin mother. It is also the place where Jesus walked and talked, where He healed folks, and yes, of course, where He was put to death on the cross for us. It was also the place where He was risen from the dead, and also the area where He rose up into Heaven.
Now you know why I call it our homeland and ask for prayers.
So we see in the scripture of today that Jesus said: "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?" So, brothers and sisters, I am asking all of us, including me, why do we do this? And what does it really mean? First of all, we all know that this is an example that Jesus used. What Jesus is asking all of us is why are we judging a man or woman of their sins, when we are also sinners and maybe our sins are more in number than the one we are talking about. Again, all of us are sinners, and while I have been taught a "sin is a sin is a sin," meaning whatever the sin is, it is not what the sin is, for they are just all sins in the eyes of the Lord. It is the number of sins. Once again I want to point out right now that we are instructed to love one another, and that means regardless of the sins of the others, but we are not to love or agree with their sins. In fact we are to help teach them to repent. Maybe this is a good time to bring out the gay marriage issue. I, like many others, and if you are indeed a Christian, you should hate the act of gay marriage, but we still should love those who are gay, but not the marriage, for that is the sin. We do not support the sin, we hate it, but we must love the sinner. Why? Well, because God loves us and we are sinners. By the way, being gay is not a sin, it is acting our or the action of the gay marriage that is the sin. I think you know where I am going on that. Will they get into heaven? Watch it now, here is where we are not to be judging. In other words, clean your own plate before you talk to others about theirs. God will judge all of us. Let's look at the next verse of our scripture for today.
Matthew 7:4 - "How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?"
So how can we do this? This is a very simple answer. WE CAN'T! While we think we can, we just cannot, so why do we even try? There is an answer for this, but sorry, folks, you need to come back tomorrow to find this out, as I have gone on long enough for today. Time to say:
Go forth now and share your blessings. Love ya. Please pass on that love.

Tuesday 8/12/14 Judging Others 1
Dear Father in Heaven: I love You. Please forgive me of my sins and sinful thinking. Thanks for watching over us and keeping us safe, all honor and glory to You, dear Lord. Please heal Gina, who has cancer. Please be with the Ward family and also Tony Stewart. Please be with our dear flock at The Bridges, and please be with our online flock. Watch over Patsy and Burt, Vicki and her mother, Dolores and me. Please be with the family and friends of Robin Williams. Thanks for a great sing-along with our ministry team at The Bridges. Now, dear Lord, please bless me with a message and help me stay alert, then please help me to dispatch it. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.
Good afternoon, my dear brothers and sisters. It is a beautiful day here at the Southern Location of the North Pole. Yes, it is raining, and it has been off and on all day. Our ministry team went to The Bridges today for a sing-along, then we went out to lunch together, then we went to the Christian bookstore and to Sears. It rained hard all day, but each time we went in or out of a building, it either went to a drizzle or stopped raining altogether. God is good, all the time. All the time, God is good. Please add Gina to your prayer list for healing from cancer. Once again yesterday I was trying to push the Lord for a subject I wanted to write about, but He said no. So today I start with a new series, Judging Others, so let me get started.
Tuesday: August 12, 2014, Judging Others (Day One)
Matthew 7:1 - "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." (NIV)
Romans 2:1 - You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. (NIV)
So often we hear that we are not to be judging others. So let's first look at some things that involve judging that are okay. If you have an antique Pontiac "Judge" you do not need to run out and sell it. But trust me, if that old car is really nice, a lot of people will be "judging it." Would that be called "judging the judge?" There are a lot of television shows that have judges on them. Judge Alex, Judy, and a few others. Those folks are retired judges now making money for their work. Most of those shows, while they might be fun to watch, are really pretty much "trash"! Did I just judge those judges? Then we have those judges who have been elected and/or appointed to the job, or bench, as they refer to it. All kinds of levels from the district judge level right on up to the United States Supreme Court. These people have jobs to do and are paid to do them, and that for sure is not what the Bible is talking about.
So now that brings it down to you and me. What about our judging of others? The Bible tells us, and in the words of Jesus, this, and I will repeat the verses in full:
Matthew 7:1 - "Do not judge, or you too will be judged." (NIV)
As you and I know, according to the Bible, and right here in the words of Jesus, we will be judged. And we talk a lot about judgment and the warning is out for us not to judge, even if we never judged another person we would be judged. But Jesus, knowing full well we indeed will judge others, wrote it this way. All of us at one time or another have judged someone. So what is Jesus telling us? Not to judge others at all? No, not really. Let's look at ...
Matthew 7:2 - "For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." (NIV)
I did it this way to show you how easy it is to pull something out of context and how it changes everything. When we look at others and talk about them to others and make statements about them, in that same manner we will also be judged. What this means is we are not to judge hypocritically or self-righteously. There comes a time in life when we must judge others, and you are going t say, what am I talking about? Going back to the days of my childhood, I was told not to play with certain people, because they would always get in trouble and if I were with them, then I would maybe follow what they did and get into trouble. This, what my parents did, would be called "being a good parent." We also need to be looking out for false prophets and people coming and saying they are Jesus.
We are not to be "self-righteous" about how we judge others. I look at this as we are looking at others and judging them thinking maybe we are better than they are, when indeed we just might not be stacking up anywhere near what they are Let me put myself in the hot seat a minute. It would be like me saying Old Joe is not going to get into heaven but I am. And maybe I am saying that because "Old Joe" never goes to church and I never miss. Yet while Old Joe, who never gets to church, has found Jesus and loves Him dearly. I pray that helps you. I will be picking up again on this subject tomorrow.
Now go forth and share your blessings. Love ya. Please pass on my love to others.

Friday 8/8/14 The Old Road Map 10
Dear Father in Heaven: I love You, and I really appreciate what You do for me each day. Thanks for watching over me another day. Thanks for watching over family and friends and also our flock at The Bridges and our online flock. Please, Lord, watch over Danelle as she readies for surgery next week. Lord, please be with the Emigs, Saylors, Stoners, and all those who are working the fields of Harvest for You this weekend. Please be with our Matthew. Be with President Obama as he makes decisions concerning this country. I also pray that he is saved and that he would bring our country's affairs before you, before he takes them to others. Be with our military and protect them, and Lord, protect our Jewish brothers and sisters in our homeland of Israel. Please also be with all the Christians that are fleeing Iraq right now. Please also, Lord, help me with the message of today and then help me dispatch it. In the Name of Jesus, I give praise and pray. Amen.
Today as I promised, I want to get the old road map out and walk through the scriptures where it talks about how to get to heaven. Please add our daughter Danelle to your prayer list. She is scheduled for "female surgery" next week. Please keep praying for our President and military folks, and please keep praying for our homeland. You might notice that whenever I ask for prayers for our President I send him a copy. I really pray today that he would take time to read this message. Let me get right to it. Please also keep praying for our "lost son" Matthew.
Friday: August 8, 2014, The Old Road Map (Day Ten)
Brothers and sisters, today's message will be written differently. Let me start with the basics. All scriptures used will be New International Version (NIV) unless I mark them differently.
John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." 17 "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him."
Brothers and sisters, here is the start of the road map today. This scripture shows us just how much God our Father in Heaven loves us. For He sent His one and only Son to die on the cross for all of us, for all who will accept Him as their savior. Verse 17 tells us Jesus was not sent to condemn the world or speak against it but to change the way people live and to save them from themselves, from their sins. Jesus carried the sins of the world on His back to the cross. Amen!!
John 14:6 - Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life, NO ONE comes to the Father except through me."
I want to bring out this scripture for it tells us there is no other way to get to Heaven, except through Jesus. I made it stand out some, the Bible tells us NO ONE, that means just what it says, meaning there is no other way to get to Heaven, to be with the Father. One way, with Jesus. Amen.
1 John 5:13 - I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.
This letter from John was written to "believers," those who follow Jesus, who really want to walk in His path. Now we are going to talk about what is known as "Romans Road." Once again the writer is the Apostle John. Okay, get those Bibles out and mark the Bible so you know where to find them.
Romans 3:10 - As it is written: "There is no one righteous, not even one."
This is telling us that not one of us is righteous enough to get to Heaven on our own. This next scripture tells us just why.
Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Romans 5:12 - Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men because of sin"
If I would ask all of you today what might be the most contagious disease today, what might you tell me? Flu? Common cold? AIDS? Or some addiction, like drugs or booze? The answer is found above, one man brought sin into the world, his name was Adam, and it has been passed down from one generation to the next to the next, to the next, and so on. So I ask this question, which I just answered, is any one of you without sin? Of course the answer is no. Now I do want to point out that you can get PAID TO BE A SINNER. What am I talking about, you ask? The old pastor has gone nuts now! Paid to be a sinner? Well, if you are like me and you believe the true and complete Bible, here is your answer. Yes, you get paid to sin!!
Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
So there you have it, paid to sin, so do you want that "pay day?" But hang in there, the verse also mentions this "Gift of God." So before I tell you that the gift is free, and it is to us, this gift of Life cost Jesus His life.
So how do you get this "free gift," this free gift of eternal life?
Romans 10:9 - That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heat that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.
I want you to know and understand that you just need to confess to God, and you do not need to tell everyone of your past, and once you confess your love for Jesus and your sins have been forgiven, please do not let anyone ever, and I mean ever, bring them up again. They are gone, period. As shown above, every one of us is a sinner, it means we ALL HAVE SINNED, and we all have something in that old closet that we do not want out. So we gave it to Christ and it is GONE. Understand please that if you broke the law, you still need to pay that debt to man. I think you all know what I mean. So hang in with me, almost done.
Romans 10:13 - For, everyone who calls on the name of the Lord, will be saved.
You see, everyone will be saved, and there you have it. But I want to add this. With the fighting that is going on in Israel, and I am calling it our homeland, and the reason of course is Jesus was/is/and always will be Jewish. So look at this scripture, please.
Romans 10:12 - For there is NO DIFFERENCE between JEW and GENTILE.
So again I will end as I did yesterday, with a prayer of confession. Again, I cannot pray this one for you. If you are already saved, just pray along and get a "fresh bath" in the blood of Jesus. Ready?
Dear Father in Heaven, please forgive me of my many sins. I do believe in Jesus as my savior, and today I invite Him into my heart. I believe He was born of a virgin, walked this earth, died on the cross, was raised from the dead, walked the earth some more, was taken up into Heaven where He sits at the right hand of God our Father. Wash me white today, Lord, and place my name in the "Lamb's Book of Life." In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.
Now go forth and share the love of God and your other blessings. You may print this and use it if you wish. You may pass it on to others. You have the ammo now, go forth and use it to lead people to Jesus. Remember, you cannot save them, only get them to Jesus. Amen.
Love ya, and yes, you may also pass on my love to others.

Thursday 8/7/14 PLEASE PRAY
Dear Father in Heaven: Please be with our military as they are in the air over Iraq as I am writing this. Please, Lord, be with the Christians who are being hunted down in that area. Lord, please be with our President as he makes decisions. Also, Lord, please, please, forgive our country for we are so out of line with the Bible and Your will. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.
Brothers and sisters, I was sitting at the computer waiting upon the Lord for the message and also watching the news. Please, brothers and sisters, turn your prayers to cover our warriors, and also our homeland Israel. As I am typing right now, two rockets just hit in Israel. This while a peace treaty was to be in effect. Brothers and sisters, please, please be sure you have made peace with Jesus and are indeed "Born Again." Then please work with others. Do not just think people are saved because they attend church, or think they are not saved because they do not go to church. If you are not sure if someone is saved, ASK THEM!!
I know we have seen signs that the end is near. I am talking about signs on the sides of barns and other buildings. But look at what is going on around the world now. And while all this is going on, our President is reducing the size of our military.
Tomorrow I pray God will get me back to my regular messages. I have been tired and worn, but I'm not complaining as I have watched the news of those Christians fleeing from danger in Iraq. Tomorrow I will do my best to get to you some scriptures that you can use to talk to others about Salvation. God has laid on my heart the need to get the word out about Salvation, and of course the only way we can be saved is by asking Jesus into our hearts. So once again, right now I want to lead you in a sinner's prayer. I cannot pray this one for you, it is a one-on-one prayer between you and our Lord Jesus. Are you ready? Once again I ask you to watch a news station that gives both sides of the news. Try Fox Cable News. Right now, Sean Hannity is in Israel and is talking to Benjamin Netanyahu who is Prime Minister of Israel. Let's pray.
Dear Father in Heaven: Please forgive me of my sins and come into my heart to live, and Lord, please help me repent and walk each day with You. I believe that You were born of a virgin mother, walked this earth, died on the cross to save us from our sins, that You were risen from the dead and that You are going to return for us. Please save me, Lord. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.
Now go forth and share the love of Jesus with others. Love ya.

Wednesday 8/6/14 The Old Road Map 9
Dear Father in Heaven: I love You. Thanks for another great day. Lord, please help us this day to seek out the lost and get them to Your feet to be saved. You gave us life, Lord, and Your Word tells us we will never die if we are Born Again, and I, Lord, for one, want to share that with all I see. Help me with it, Lord. Please also touch Anna Marie and heal her from ALS. Now I need Your help with my message for You. Please help me with it and then please help me to dispatch it. In Jesus' Name, Amen. And Lord, please touch Dolores, and touch my pain also, according to Your will. Thanks, Jesus.
Brothers and sisters, it is Wednesday, and that means it is Salvation Wednesday on this line. Please pray today for the unsaved and that God will use you to find the lost and give you the courage to talk to them about Jesus. And yes, please pray for both Dolores and for me. Please remember you are welcome to send in prayer requests. Pray also for Anna Marie who has ALS and it is progressing fast. Also, if you have been on our prayer list and God has healed you, please let me know so I can give God the glory. Now to the message.
Salvation Wednesday: August 6, 2014, The Old Road Map (Day Nine)
Genesis 4:1 - Adam lay with his wife Eve, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Cain. She said, "With the help of the Lord I have brought forth a man." 2 Later she gave birth to his brother, Abel. (NIV)
If you read the papers or watch the news you see a lot of news about family members fighting and even killing family members. We hear of murders being done in neighborhoods. We hear a lot about "black on black" crime. So when did we have that very first murder? You can read the full account in Genesis 4. It seems that it was a jealousy thing because God favored the gifts from Abel and not as much from Cain. What was the difference? The way I see it, Abel gave to the Lord from the top from the firstborn of his animals. Cain, who was the dirt farmer, gave to God, but not from the top, he did not give his best. So because this upset Cain, he took it out on Abel and murdered him. So sin continued in this first family. If you read the full account of this happening you will see that God did fix it so others would leave Cain alone. I wanted to bring these things out to show you that from the very beginning sin was ruining God's good work. Please note, however, that Eve did give glory to the Lord for her births.
I want to give you a homework assignment today. Please read Genesis Chapters 4 and 5 for tomorrow I am going to go right to Genesis Chapter 6 and be talking to you about the big flood. I am going to stop here for tonight.
Now go forth and share your blessings. Love ya. Please share my love with others.

Tuesday 8/5/14 The Old Road Map 8
Dear Father in Heaven: I love You very much. Please help me act like it! Thanks for the night's sleep and rest and thanks for waking me this morning and please help me use this day to serve You. Thanks for sending help our way yesterday. What a great day it was. Thanks for the ability to purchase food for the food pantry, and thanks for sending us lunch. Father in Heaven, thanks for watching over this line, and thanks for watching over the many ministries of Carry The Light Ministries. Thanks, Lord, for our flock at The Bridges and our online flock You have trusted to us. Please forgive me of my sins, Lord. Please, Lord, be with the Saylor family, the Emig family, please be with Deb Foulkroad and heal her kidneys. Be with Ruby, and Lord, touch Joni and Bill. Thanks again for all You do for us, and thanks for supplying our needs and many of our wants. Please, Lord, bring peace to Your world. Now, Lord, if You would please help me wit the message, and then, Lord, please help me to dispatch it, I sure would appreciate it. Oh, and Lord, please heal Dolores and if it is Your will, heal my knees. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.
Good morning, my dear brothers and sisters, from the Southern Location of the North Pole. I did not write a message since last Thursday, and the only reason I can give is God did not give me one. I think I have told you this before, but I write what the Lord gives me, nothing more, although sometimes it might be less. When God does not give me a message, I just cannot write. While we did other work for God since Thursday, He gave me time off from writing. Please keep praying for peace.
Tuesday: August 5, 2014, The Old Road Map (Day Eight)
Matthew 24:1 - Jesus left the temple and was walking away when His disciples came up to Him to call attention to its buildings. 2 "Do you see all these things?" He asked. "I tell you the truth, not one stone here will be left on another, every one will be thrown down." 3 As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately. "Tell us," they said, "When will this happen and what will be the sign of Your coming and of the end of the age?" 4 Jesus answered: "Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, claiming, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains." (NIV)
Brothers and sisters, I was looking in Genesis since Friday, looking over what happened next as the world had just been created by God. I was looking at Cain and Abel, but God led me from there. As I prayed about the message, I remember talking to someone just yesterday who did not understand just why the leaders in Israel would bomb a school and kill some children just to get back at terrorists. God talked to me about it, and I am going to try and tell you why this is happening.
First, let me tell you if you are truly a "Born Again" believer in Jesus then you need to understand that Israel is our homeland. This area where Humus is attacking is our Holy Land, the land where Jesus was born and died and where He walked. They, the Jewish Army, is fighting back. They did not start this fight, and in fact have wanted peace and to be able to just live in peace. When the sirens go off, they run to shelters. So I ask you, you are sitting in your home, or in a restaurant having your evening meal, and all of a sudden the sirens go off, you jump up and head to the shelters until the all clear rings. Would you want to live like that? Would you not want to fight back? Before you answer, look back at September 11, 2001. When we fought back. You need to know that Israel uses its missiles and weapons to protect its peoples to protect their missiles and weapons. So they hide their army in schools, hospitals, etc.
Our news people are not covering this very well. They just show you bodies of those killed in the schools. And brothers and sisters, the killing is not needed at all. Our Lord Jesus wants peace, but our Jewish brothers and sisters have the right to defend their country and their peoples. And our Bible, in the words of Jesus, tells us this is going to happen. And it has been happening for a long, long time. Jesus also tells us about people who will be starving, and that is going on right now and not just in other countries. Even when our country sends food, sometimes it does not get into the hands of who really needs it. That also goes on here in America. In fact, we see this "first hand" right here in Carry The Light Ministries Food Pantry. Most who come for food are very, very worthy of it. However, we do have people who come to get food who use "many" food banks and get food stamps, all the time either not working when they are healthy and could, and/or are "working under the table." We furnish food, and a lot of it, to those who ask and without many questions.
My heart cries and I am sure our Lord Jesus who sees all, is not happy about this or the waste of food. On our most recent food drive, just two weeks ago, we had to "trash" over 200 cans and/or boxes of food. These were out of date, some from 2007, and some, like peanut butter, were opened and half gone. When giving food to others, so you know, we at Carry The Light Ministries try our very best to give out only food "we would eat." And we try also t never give outdated food, with the exception of bread which we give out frozen. Please remember, and this will be for another day, when you give to others you are giving as to God. Give from the top, not from the bottom.
In closing today, I do want to suggest that to get your news and get both sides of it, watch the "Fox Cable News." Also, if you can get them, listen to Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh. You will hear the truth! Also, you can read all about these things in "YOUR BIBLE." Right now Sean Hannity is in Israel and is broadcasting from there. Fox Cable News is at 10:00 PM, Channel 75 on Comcast and 618 on Verizon. Seeing both sides will open your eyes. Reading your Bible will open your eyes even more.
Now go forth and share your blessings. Love ya. Please pass on my love to others.
