Good Friday Morning,
my dear brothers and sisters: It is
indeed, or it was Friday when I started this, and being Friday, and the day we
pray for those going into the fields of harvest for our Lord. I also want to pray for our leaders, and for
our military, past and present, our police, firefighters, ambulance personnel,
and all who work to keep us safe and healthy.
Brothers and sisters, when you pray for our leaders, pray for their soul
first, pray that they come to Jesus … Our president claims to be a “Christian”
yet he supports gay marriage and abortion, even final term abortion. Sorry, folks, you cannot be a Christian,
which means “Christ-like”, and support things that are against what Jesus
stands for. Each time I state this
someone will drop from the line. We are
all sinners and saved only by the grace of God, but again, we must support what
Jesus stands for, and we do not get to pick and choose. You either support Jesus or you walk with
Satan. I guess I am preaching here, but
that is okay. It is time to start
praying for Mitt Romney who is running for president. Same prayers for him, folks. Please pray also for Joann Zimmerman, wife of
Joe Zimmerman from Annville, Pa., who is having major back surgery on Wednesday
of this week … Thanks.
The Coming
of the Kingdom of God: Luke 17:26 – “Just
as it was in the days of Noah, so also it will be in the days of the Son of
Man. 27 People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up

Lot. People were eating and drinking,

and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. 30 It will be just
like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed. 31 On that day no one who is
on the roof of his house with his goods inside should go down to get them. Likewise, no one in the field should go back

Just as it
was in the days of Noah! Do you remember
the account of Noah as recorded in our Bibles in the book of Genesis? Take a look at it, read from Chapter 6 and
read through Chapter 10 (that is your homework assignment). To sum that up for you, God found favor in
Noah and his family and told them to build an ark. Noah and his family built it, and as
commanded by God, loaded it with animals, and such to keep him going for a long
time … Then it rained and rained and rained … and other than the humans on
board the ark, Noah and his family, all others lost their lives … So let me
move on from there.
Over the
years I have had people come to me and say a lot of strange things like, “God
is very loving, He sent His Son, Jesus, to forgive all of us. He would never destroy us!” While it is true that God did send His Son
Jesus to forgive all who will come to Him and ask to be forgiven, if you think
you can hang out and now know Jesus, one on one, and make it to heaven you are
wrong. God did say this, “He will never
again destroy all the world by flood.”
In fact, when you see the rainbow in the sky, you know that this is a
sign, it is a sign by God, to remind Himself, never to destroy the world again
by flood. This sign set by God has been “hijacked”
by the gay community as their sign. So
with that said, let me move on a tad.
As you read
through the scripture above, I want you to think of today! Is it not like the days of Noah? Just look around you, think about it, look in
your own neighborhoods, I don’t need to spell it all out for your, however, I
want to note few things. Last weekend,
40 shootings were reported in Chicago with 10 people dying from those
shots. Almost every night between
Harrisburg, Lancaster, Lebanon, York, and even Carlisle, there are reported
shootings. Men are with men and wanting
to marry them and women are with women and wanting to marry them.
Many people
do not want to work (the Bible tells us if we do not work, we should not eat).
Yes, we need to take care of those who cannot work, or have a temporary
setback, and need help, but we have a lot of people who just “ride the system”. Now while I could go on and on, and you just
know this was coming from me … Abortion, how many are killed daily, more each
day in the USA than were killed on 9/11/2001 and we went to war and are still
at war over that … But the abortions go on … And just this past week, Congress
tried to pass a law that at least abortion could not be used if you did not
want the gender that was in the womb. In
other words, if a woman is carrying a female in the womb and wants a male
child, she can now abort them, and it is late term until you can tell gender. The new law would have stopped it, but sadly
it fell short of the votes needed and our President made a promise to NOT SIGN
IT if it passed. Yes, our leader, the
leader of the free world, supports the murder of the unborn children. So folks, do I need to go on much
longer? No, you get the message!
We do not
know when Jesus is going to return, but we do know this … HE IS COMING
BACK!!! How long will God let this go
on, before He once again calls on Jesus and sends Him back??? Are you ready???
As I am
writing this, tears are in my eyes, ABC27 news is on, and there was a young lad
needing a home, he looked to be 10 or 11, and they are looking for a Christian
home for this lad. If Dolores and I were
younger, or even in better health, I would be calling about this lad, whose
name is Chance. I wish someone on this
line would open their heart for this lad.
He has been in foster care for about 4 years.
Now let me
back on subject, also while I am writing a plane crash has been reported, not
in America, but that does not make a difference, this plane having over 150 on
board, crashed in apartments and a shopping center. How many were lost and how many will live
even though they died?
Folks, I
will be back on this subject some more, but I don’t want you to worry, I just
want to be sure you know Jesus … So I am stopping right now and going to
prayer, a one-on-one prayer, one between you and Jesus, I will lead you. Folks, this is just how my message went in
church this morning, it was like God just took control of my mouth!! And I just cannot get it off my mind … So let
me stop and lead you, I cannot pray it for you … Come on, folks. My heart is crying out for you to come to
Christ. Yes, I am also a sinner, saved
only by Jesus, and now I work for Him, and yes, I still mess up, but I do have
Jesus in my heart. Come on, will you, in
faith, come to Christ today? I do not
need to hear your confession, it is between you and Jesus. Come on, Jesus wants you to dump your worries
on Him, and then let Him keep them.
Enough from me, let’s pray …
Dear Father
in Heaven, I have a burden on my heart tonight, and it is the ones who take
time to read this message, so today, Lord, I want to lead them in a prayer to
be saved by Jesus. But Lord, as I pray,
I ask also that You forgive me of my sins and clean me again. Now Father, hear all those who are praying
with me. Dear Jesus, I love You, and I
confess this love to You now. I am a
sinner and I want to come clean today, and I can only come clean if You forgive
me. So Lord, clean me and by the power
of the Holy Spirit come into my heart and live with me … Please, Lord, I know
You will not leave me, but help me never to walk away from You … Save me now,
Jesus, and I do ask this with all respect and faith and also in Your Name,
Jesus … Amen.
