April 5, 2011 I Don't Know You!

"Then you will say, 'We ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.' But He will reply, 'I don't know you or where you come from. Away from me, all you evildoers!'" Good Tuesday Morning to you, my dearest brothers and sisters, from here at the Southern Location of the North Pole. Tuesday and the day we pray for a cure for all different diseases, as in cancer, heart problems, liver ailments, damaged kidneys, and also Alzheimer's. Please pray today for Pastors Charles Idler, and Tony Mayeski, for Edgar Patterson, Kathleen Sansoni and for Ron Leideigh. Also pray for the wives of Pastor Charles (Katherine), Pastor Tony (Ruby). Also pray for Donna Leideigh and for Tom Sansoni. It is very hard on a spouse as they stand by their mates when it comes to the part of the wedding vows that say in sickness... It is very hard to watch a loved one in pain. Please pray for my wife Dolores also, as the pain in her body seems to be getting worse each day. The Big Trip 16-2 I Don't Know You! 2: Luke 13:26 - "Then you will say, 'We ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.' 27 But He will reply, 'I don't know you or where you come from. Away from me, all you evildoers!'" (NIV) In the parable The Narrow Door, Jesus has given me this for this morning. Yes, the Path to heaven and the doorway in will be narrow. Often told in stories as a gate and that is good, but again please don't think of the gate to heaven as being wide enough to drive in, in your big rig or your motor home. I would like you to do this, I want you to grab a big bag of trash, a couple of suitcases and they can be empty for this demo. I would like you to grab a box of old newspapers, and maybe some of your prized positions, and yes you could pack them in the suitcases. Remember that "train case". Now I want you to load them up in your hands and arms and head for the bathroom. Without putting any of the "stuff" or "junk" down I want you to try and open the door and get in. Now I want you to think of all that stuff or junk as your sins. I want you to turn around and put them all down, take the trash out, take the old papers out, put the suit cases away and then come up to the same door carrying nothing, and then open the door and walk in. Now if you would have done that you would have found out that you could not get the door open with all the junk in your hands, but once you "dumped it" you could get in. Now let's look at the parable of the Narrow Door, and again what Jesus is telling me. We are heading up to heaven now, it is over and we have been called forth and we walk up to the gate carrying all of our trash, our junk, our stuff, only this time we are just going to call it our Sins. We watch as some of our friends pass through the gate and we think, well if old Joe made it in, then for sure I will not have any trouble. And old Joe did make it, but we got stopped, we were just plain told, "I don't know you!" You can't come in! You see your children coming and they get right in, so you try again and again you are told. "I don't know you!" So you lay down your trash, your stuff, your junk and you head up again and find out this. "I don't know you!" The voice you are hearing is that of Judge Jesus who died for us and just wanted us to believe in Him and hand our sins over to Him by having faith and believing and folks once we are called it is too late. Once you die, your bed is made, so to speak. To get through that narrow door to heaven we just need to give it over to Jesus... Give it, yes give IT and what is It, well it is our heart, our soul, our mind and our strength. You do remember that lesson from last week where we are told to Love God with all of our heart, our soul, and our mind, and our strength, and to love our neighbor as ourselves. That is just what Jesus wanted, He just came to do a job, He taught us lessons about how to get into heaven, salvation lessons and how we need to just confess and believe. Brothers and sisters, we just cannot get into heaven if we are carrying our sins and we refuse to give them over in faith. Or we fail to repent of our sins. Let me pull it all out right here, folks, you are not going to get into heaven if you do not have Jesus, if you are not "Born Again", if you have not gone to Jesus and asked Him to clean you of your sins. Once you are dead, the only way you can be alive is to be alive in Christ. And folks, if you are alive today and also alive in Christ we need to get to work and get the word out. We just need to get folks to believe and also to believe that once you have passed here, you do not get a second chance. Warnings right up to the last minute as the criminal on the cross beside Jesus who told Jesus he believed in Him... Saved at the last minute. But folks, we don't know when the last day will be, you might not be here for a final, final warning. So if you are not saved, why not consider it right now? Let me introduce you to Jesus... Hey you who are not saved, this is my best friend Jesus, He wants you to come on board with Him and He wants to live within you... Jesus, meet the unsaved from this line... Now help us bring in others, Lord. And folks, please know that only Jesus can save you... only Jesus can say when at that Narrow Door... COME ON IN, I KNOW YOU, AND YOU KNOW ME... AMEN. Dear Father in Heaven, forgive us of our sins and help us repent from them and help us to love You more and more each day... In the name of Jesus, Amen. And Lord, please heal those on our prayer lists... Thank You, Jesus. Amen. Now go forth and share your blessings, and give your sins, your trash, your baggage over to God... AND BE SAVED... AMEN. Love ya, Pastor Dan.
