Dear Father in Heaven: I love You. Please forgive me of my sins. Thanks for taking us through the night and waking us today. Thanks for watching over our family and friends, our online flock and the flock at The Bridges. Lord, thanks for trusting us to work for You. Lord, be with those I listed for prayer yesterday, and Lord, we keep praying for Matthew to come back to you. Lord, I pray today for the lost and that You would use all of us who are Born Again to bring the lost to Your feet to be saved. I pray today for our president and all of our leaders. Please protect Your people from the storms and comfort those who lost loved ones in the storms. Now, Lord, if You would please bless me with the message of the day, and then, Lord, please help me to dispatch it. In Jesus' Wonderful Name, I give thanks and praise and pray. Amen.
Good morning, my dear brothers and sisters. It is raining cats and dogs, or pitchforks and hammer handles, here at the Southern Location of the North Pole. As I look out my window from my desk, I can see the weeds growing, so it must be spring. I pray all of you are doing well this day and that God, who supplies all of our needs, is blessing you this day. If you are having a bad day, smile, hold onto God, and look all around you. If you can still see, that means you are still on the green side of the grass, and that is a blessing. Remember today is Wednesday and that means it is Salvation Wednesday on this line and the day we put an extra effort in our working the fields of harvest for our Lord. Now to the message, Good Guys.
Salvation Wednesday: April 30, 2014, Good Guys (Day Two)
Luke 10:29 - But he wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus, "And who is my neighbor?" 30 In reply Jesus said: "A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he fell into the hands of robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. 31 A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. 32 So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. 35 But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was and when he saw him, he took pity on him. 34 He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, took him to an inn and took care of him. 35 The next day he took out two silver coins and gave them to the innkeeper. 'Look after him,' he said, 'and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.' 36 Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of the robbers?" 37 The expert in the law replied, "The one who had mercy on him." Jesus told him, "Go and do likewise." (NIV)
The Good Samaritan! Do you know we now have laws that protect a "Good Samaritan" from lawsuits if they stop to help someone that is in need of help? Do you know we have people who do not believe in God, and belong to a club called "The Good Sam Club" and the Good Sam means Good Samaritan. This camping club pushes people to leave camp sites better than they found them. I do want to turn a question on you this day. If this were to happen today, the same thing, a person is hurt, people pass them by, then a Good Samaritan stops to help ... which of these folks are your neighbors? Remember the Bible tells us, Jesus tells us to "Love our neighbor." So who is your neighbor? We are to love all people so ALL OF THE PEOPLE involved in this story would be our neighbor, and what is pointing out is we need to show mercy, and showing mercy is love, and we are to love all people. Your neighbors are people of all races, all colors, and yes, all religions, for we must remember that we are to love all people.
As you know, I was a biker, and one day I was on my way home from work, riding my white Honda Goldwing, and our bikes had crosses on them, as we rode for the Lord. One day as I was getting on the Interstate highway, route 81 south, a car had pulled off with a flat tire. I am going back to before cell phones now. I pulled around the car and stopped and walked back to see if I could help. There were two nuns, two Catholic sisters in the car. Here I stand with my helmet and biker look, and I don't know if they could see the cross on my jacket, but I had to have some fun with this. I said, "God sent me to change your tire!" This is true, while I was going to be a Good Guy that day, and I was stopping to change the tire anyway. I did not know it was two of God's workers from the Catholic Church, who by the way are my sisters and brothers even though I am not of that religion, I am of that "Faith," for we who have faith in Jesus are indeed brothers and sisters regardless of their religion or church affiliation. And yes, I do believe that God planned to use me that day and planned for me to rescue the "sisters" by changing the tire.
So let me ask you, how do you show your love to your neighbors? Do you help them when you can? Do you see that they have heat in the winter? Do you check in on some old folks to see if they are okay? Maybe by just giving them a call, like Nichole just did to us? How are you a Good Samaritan? How do you love on your neighbors? You do, don't you? Just remember this, be a "Good Guy" and love and help everyone you can, and remember you can't out-give the Lord, who in my book is the number one "Good Guy." The number one Good Samaritan. Amen.
Tomorrow, how someone showed their love to someone they did not even know. A true story of loving your neighbor and being a "Good Guy."
Now go forth being a Good Guy and sharing your blessings. And please be sure to share my love with others. And yes, share your love also.

Tuesday 4/29/14 Good Guys!
Dear Father in Heaven: I love You, and I ask as I start another day that You would clean me of my sins of yesterday. Thank You, dear Lord, for taking us through another night and for watching over our family and friends. Thank You for taking Sue and Mike safely home with their trailer. Lord, bless them as they ride motorcycle in Your name. Be with Vicki as she has a brain scan, be with Patsy and Burt, Ruby, Eleanor, Bob and Sharon. Please keep watch over Dolores and yes, Lord, help me deal with pain. And Lord, we pray our Matthew returns to You and then to us. Lord, please be with our president and our military and all our veterans. Lord, please send good weather on Saturday for the troop rally. Lord, please help those in the way of the storms. We confess, Lord, we do not understand why some of these events happen, for we know You are in charge, we just have faith and are happy You indeed are in charge. Now, Lord, help me with the message of today and then help me to dispatch it. And Lord, protect this computer from hackers. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
Brothers and sisters, for months and months we have been asking you to pray for our Matthew, for he just seemed to have "written us off." Now please pray even more as it seems he has "written off our Lord Jesus" and has become a Muslim! No words can tell you of our heart pain on this, but still we stand firm in Jesus and may I had ALWAYS WILL!!! A few prayer requests today. Vicki gets a brain scan tomorrow. (If I were to have a brain scan, I am sure the doctors would not find anything!) Please keep Patsy and Burt in your prayers and also Barbara from York and Barbara from Florida. Please include Dolores and me in your daily prayers as pain is attacking us as we push forward to work for God. Now on to the "Good Guys."
Tuesday: April 29, 2014, Good Guys (Day One)
Luke 10:25 - On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. "Teacher," he asked, "what must I do to inherit eternal life?" 26 "What is written in the law?" He replied, "How do you read it?" 27 He answered: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and Love your neighbor as yourself." 28 "You have answered correctly," Jesus replied. "Do this and you will live." (NIV)
Here we find an expert on the law going after Jesus. He is going to test Jesus. Well, first we should never put Jesus to the test except in one thing. Do you know what that is? I will help you. It is in your giving to the Lord. You cannot out-give the Lord if you give in faith to Him. Now this leads me to say this. Some people get upset when they see Christians that "have money." I know and have known many Christian business people who are very wealthy. And those who give from their hearts are indeed some of the "Good Guys" I am talking about. Today's word Guys to me covers girls and boys, women and men, ladies and gentlemen. Okay, guys, I think I have that straight.
Anyway, when the teacher of the law asked Jesus what had to be done to inherit eternal life, Jesus answered with a question. Don't you love it when you ask a question and instead of the answer you are asked another question? Reminds me of my late daddy who was a math teacher. I would ask him how to do a problem, and he would say, let me see how you would do it. The teacher of the law asked Jesus the question and Jesus turned the tables on him and asked old teach the question, and teach answered with this: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and Love your neighbor as yourself." The teacher knew how to do this, he knew the way to eternal life.
So, folks, where have we heard these words before? Well, if you said that sounds like the Two Greatest Commandments, that is correct.
Matthew 22:36 - "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" 37 Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'" (NIV)
Now I don't want to confuse you,but in my writing from Luke, "old teach" was the teacher of the law. From Matthew, "Teacher" is our Lord Jesus. I want to bring out as I talk about "Good Guys." Just being a good guy does not get you into heaven. Now back to Luke for a minute.
Luke 10:28 - "You have answered correctly," Jesus replied. "Do this and you will live." (NIV)
Brothers and sisters, in today's message we talked bout the two Greatest Commandments. While the "Ten Commandments" are needed, we need to study them and learn them, but the bottom line is that if you truly live by the two Greatest Commandments you will have followed those original Ten. I want you to really think hard about that.
Tomorrow we re going to go deeper into the Good Guy and talk about the "Parable of the Good Samaritan." Okay, enough for today.
Now go forth and share your blessings. Love ya. Please pass on my love to others. yes, of course, by all means, pass on the Love of Jesus, that's a given.
Pastor Dan
P.S. We have new folks who came online. I just want to remind all, you may use anything I write, but if you do, please do not put a tag line on it like "if you pass this on to ten people and back to the writer you will be blessed." Just love God, He will do the blessings.

Friday 4/25/14 Seeing Jesus 3
Praise God, Praise God, Praise God. Dolores is home, all glory and honor to God!!
Dear Father in Heaven: I love You, and I ask You please forgive me of my sins. Thanks for the talents that You put on loan to doctors, nurses, and all those who had their hands upon Dolores, however, all honor and glory goes to You. Thanks for healing her. Lord, please touch her hands as she readies for Sunday service. Lord, thanks for bringing Tiffney through her tests the other day. Thanks for watching over this line. Thanks for touching my legs last night, dear Lord. Please, Lord, help Vicki. Be with Patsy and Burt, Barbara, and the others whose names escape me right now, Lord. Please help me with the daily message, and then, Lord, please help me to dispatch it. I do love You. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
Brothers and sisters, Dolores is home. Praise God, the infection did not get into her blood. I am happy she is home, she is happy she is home, and our dogs and cats are happy she is home. Many thanks to those who prayed, who called, who wanted to come and help. Without our Christian Family, which includes our family members who are saved, how would we ever get along? Some of our dogs did not want to eat, so I had to eat their share just to keep them going. Anyway, thanks again to all of you, however, we will give all the honor and glory to God. Amen.
Now I really do need to get to the message, Seeing Jesus.
Friday: April 25, 2014, Seeing Jesus (Day Three).
John 20:19 - On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the door locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!" 20 After He said this, He showed them His hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord. 21 Again Jesus said, "Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me I am sending you." 22 And with that He breathed on them and said, "Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive anyone his sins, they are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven." (NIV)
Peace be with you, brothers and sisters, I love meat and potatoes, and as that saying goes, there is a lot of meat and potatoes in this scripture. Of course all the scriptures are loaded with good stuff. Let me get started. "Peace be with you" is a normal Hebrew greeting. Would that now be a great way to greet each other? "Peace be with you!" And the other person "And also with you." Now I know this happens in church, but what about when you greet a friend in the food store or some other place?
Jesus was greeting His disciples when saying Peace be with you, and then He showed them His hands and side. The Bible said they were overjoyed when they saw the Lord. In Luke it states this:
Luke 24:37 - They were startled and frightened, thinking they saw a ghost. (NIV)
In Luke, Jesus is quoted as showing His hands and feet to the disciples. In John, the scripture I was pointed to for this series, Jesus is quoted as showing them His hands and side. For my message it does not make a different, the fact is that even after traveling with Him all those years, they did not know Him until Jesus pointed these things out to them. Do I need to see the hands, side, or feet of Jesus to believe He is alive? No, of course not, for indeed having faith in Jesus is seeing Him, believing in Him is seeing Him. And I sure do believe in Him. Now here is where it gets really sweet, and yes, for sure every day with Jesus is sweeter than the day before. Let's take another look at this scripture.
John 20:21 - Again Jesus said, "Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me I am sending you.." 22 And with that He breathed on them and said, "Receive the Holy Spirit."
Again we see Jesus saying, "Peace be with you!" Then He talks about how the Father sent Him, Jesus is sending them. And yes, and since Jesus is the same today as He was back when He walked this earth and will be the same forever and ever (Hebrews 13:8). So that means that He is sending us, you and me, all of us who are saved, out to do His work. We are to do the same things Jesus did. Oh, that is scary, isn't it? We are to be doing just what Jesus did. How many of us are doing that now? Now look at this, I love this. How did the disciples receive the Holy Spirit from Jesus? He breathed on them and said, "Receive the Holy Spirit."
Where in scripture have we seen the Breath of God do something? Yes, when He made man from dirt. He breathed into Adam's nostrils, after making him from dirt. Now to me this is exciting, for when we do call on Jesus to save us, when we welcome Jesus into our hearts, I can about feel that breath of the Holy Spirit coming as we take in the Lord. And have you ever been to a gospel concert when the power of the Holy Spirit is present? You can feel the air moving among people, or at least I can. I bet, just a gentleman's bet, that, if you would ask some of the singers if they felt it, the answer would be yes. Also remember that it also tells us this:
John 20:23 - "If you forgive anyone his sins, they are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven."
Now that is a lot of power He is turning over to them and of course to us. But, brothers and sisters, we have that power, as long as we remember we are doing it in JESUS' NAME. Remember you should be asking them, the unsaved, to pray in their words to Jesus, you are leading them. And then you are assuring them that they indeed are forgiven. And if we are telling it like it is, if the people will not pray to be forgiven, and as I take this, we should tell them that unless they do pray through Jesus, they will not be forgiven. You think about it, folks, and remember according to scripture, not all of us do have the same gifts. So we walk in faith, we see Jesus with our hearts, and we believe in Him, which lets us see Him, and He has given us all jobs to do. Someone say Amen!
Now go forth and share your blessings. Love ya. Please pass on the love to others.
Pastor Dan
P.S. I found Dolores' cat. Thanks be to God.

Thursday 4/24/14 Seeing Jesus 2
Dear Father in Heaven: Thanks for a great day. Thanks for Your healing hand on Dolores. Please, Lord, keep healing her so she can come home. Thanks for taking care of our families and friends. Thanks, Lord, for Wanda standing in for Dolores today at the piano. Lord, please be with Matthew, and thanks for watching over him. Protect him from the outreach of Satan. Lord, please travel with our president and protect him. Lord, please be with the families of those Christian doctors who were shot by a Muslim guard in Afghanistan, and now, Lord, please help me with the message and then please help me dispatch it. Then, Lord, please give me rest for tomorrow will be busy again. And Lord, please send my Dolores' cat home. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
Brothers and sisters, I don't know what this world is coming to, but I heard it just today that ABORTED BABIES are being burned to produce electricity. I heard this today on Glenn Beck. It is happening in one foreign country, and I think they said England, and it is also going on in one state in the United States. If anyone hears more on this, please email me.
I am praying that Dolores will come home tomorrow, but no word on it yet. We did get great news. Our Lord God blocked the infection from going into her blood. That means when she comes home she will not need a pic-line. The ones shot in Afghanistan were/are Christians. Three are dead, two wounded, one of the deceased is from Chicago. These doctors all work for Cure International based here in Lemoyne, PA (about four miles from our home). Now I must get to the message.
Thursday: April 24, 2014, Seeing Jesus (Day Two)
John 20:15 - "Woman," He said, "Why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?" Thinking He was the gardener, she said, "Sir, if you have carried Him away, tell me where you have put Him, and I will get Him. 16 Jesus said to her, "Mary." She turned toward Him and cried out in Aramaic, "Rabboni!" (which means Teacher) 17 Jesus said, "Do not hold onto me, for I have not yet returned to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, 'I am returning to My Father and your Father, to My God and your God.'" 18 Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news" "I have seen the Lord!" And she told them that He had said these things to her. (NIV)
Yesterday I left you sort of hanging in wonder if Mary really knew Jesus when she first saw Him. Well, we see that Jesus spoke to her and even asked "Why are you crying?" But Mary thought He was the gardener until she turned around and saw Him. So while she might not have known His voice, she did know Him when she saw Him. AND SHE WAS EXCITED.
Just think about this, just think about how excited we are going to be when we first see our Jesus fact to face in heaven. I am telling you we have exciting times ahead of us. There are other things in this scripture that jump out at me. Jesus sent Mary to go to His brothers to tell them. Now we knew Jesus traveled with His disciples, so was He talking about just them? Think about this, when we become Christians, are we not then all brothers and sisters in Christ? Perhaps Jesus was talking about a small group back then, but since Jesus is still the same today, are we not the brothers and sisters today? Does that not make us Christian brothers and sisters in Christ? Yes, He is our Lord and Savior, and I think also our brother. Also Jesus tells us this, "I am returning to My Father and your Father, to My God and your God." This makes it pretty clear to me that when we pray Our Father whom art in Heaven, it is the very same that Jesus prayed to the night before He was put to death when He prayed in part "Thy will be done, not My will."
Again, our walk, our fellowship with our Lord Jesus, with our Heavenly Father, and the Holy Spirit, are "faith-based." I am telling you, brothers and sisters, it is time we get right with Christ, it is time to invite Jesus into your heart. Each day we see things or hear of things that make one like me wonder, just how long is He going to let it go on? Not even Jesus knows this, just God "our Father."
I, Pastor Dan, have seen Jesus, He is in my heart. I love Him, I believe in Him, and yes, I am a sinner saved only by His grace. I am still a sinner, but working hard each day to get better at my Christian walk. More tomorrow.

Now go forth and share your blessings. Love ya, and please share my love with others.

Wednesday 4/23/14 Seeing Jesus
Dear Father in Heaven: I love You. Please forgive me of my sins. Thanks for watching over her and thanks for working on healing her, please, Lord, keep Your hand on her. Please give me strength to get back into writing and please help me with the message of today. Please also help me to dispatch the message. And Dear Lord, I have some prayer requests that I have not posted but I am sure You know them and even know where I laid them and misplaced them. Help me find them, Lord. Now get me working for You, Lord. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
Dear brothers and sisters, thank you for your calls, prayers, and love shown to both Dolores and myself while Dolores is sick. On this Salvation Wednesday I felt it necessary to get back to the keyboard and get to work for the Lord. Dolores is still in the hospital and while she has much improved, I just got a call from her before I started writing and shes told me she is feeling good but her fever must stay normal for 24 hours before they send her home. Her fever is running from normal to 101 so there must still be some infection that they have not found as of yet. However, as you all know, we are believing God to hear our prayers and heal her and let her with us. As you know, sometimes when we pray for total healing, God will answer that prayer by moving us on to heaven to be with Him. Time to get back to work for God, and coming soon, a message on how you can really give of yourself to help others. Today,
Salvation Wednesday: Seeing Jesus (Day One)
John 20:10 - Then the disciples went back to their homes. 11 But Mary stood beside the tomb crying. As she wept she bent over to look into the tomb 12 and saw two angels in white seated where Jesus' body had been, one at the head and the other at the foot. 13 They asked her, "Woman, why are you crying?" "They have taken my Lord away," she said, "And I don't know where they have put Him." 14 At this, she turned around, and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not realize that it was Jesus. 15 "Woman," He said, "Why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?" (NIV)
The Mary in this scripture is Mary Magdalene, and we must wonder some why Jesus, when He appeared to the people after He was crucified and had been risen from the dead, why did He appear to them in a certain order. Maybe He appeared to Mary first because she needed Him the most, maybe she was not as strong as the others. Anyway, when she came to the tomb the angels were there again, or still.
Let's picture this, we go to the cemetery where we have just buried a loved one, the ground is broken open, we look down in and see two angels in white, what are we going to say or do? After passing out from fright, we might say what Mary said and ask where our loved one was. But let's face this fact right now, if we go to the cemetery and see the graves opened up, WE MISSED THAT CALL. But why did He appear to Mary first? Maybe she really did need Him the most. So I say to this, when did Jesus appear to you? Now we know for sure Jesus is in Heaven right now with our Father in Heaven, however, if you are indeed "Born Again" there was that first time Jesus really did appear to you through the Power of the Holy Spirit and you had to invite Him into your heart. Maybe it was at the very lowest point in your life. As you all know I am a "Lost Son" raised by Christian parents, raised in church so to speak, but then I got a truck and a car and had to work to pay for them and I worked on Sundays. Then mamma died and I really never walked with the Lord for a long time. Oh, I would go to church now and then, more like a Christmas and Easter (C and E) person. Then I went through a very hard time in my life. I can remember falling on my knees in front of the big window in front of the house I lived in at the time and I asked God to just come and get me. I am so glad that God does not always answer our prayers the way we want it done!! Anyway, at that time I really needed God and He appeared to me, oh, not in person, but at that time I began "Seeing Jesus." Notice I said began seeing Jesus, for He sent a person on earth to watch over me so I would not do something dumb to myself. And then my walk back has been long, and yes, I stumbled along the way a lot of times, but Jesus was always there to pick me back up.
But the story is not about me, it is about Jesus appearing to people after He had been risen, and did they know Him at first or did He need to prove Himself to them? Even after they traveled with Him all that time did they know Him? Tomorrow we will look into "Did Mary Magdalene first know Jesus?" What about some of the others? Now I must ask you this as I get out of here for today. People back when Jesus walked the earth got to walk with Him and know Him. Then they saw Him put to death on the cross and they saw Him buried. He even told them He would be risen from the dead, but did they first believe? We must walk in faith, our seeing Jesus is by faith, along with feeling Him. So I ask you this day, have you had times when you have seen Jesus in your faith walk? I am talking seeing Him in your mind and heart? If you have not, it is time to open your heart and look from there. Stop looking out of your eyes to see Jesus and look from your heart. He is there, honest!
Now go forth and share your many blessings and then see what God does to them. Love ya. Please pass on my love.

Easter Sunday 4/20/14 He's Alive!!
He's Alive: He is Risen: Hallelujah! Jesus is Alive, ALIVE FOREVERMORE!!
Dear Father in Heaven: I love You. Please forgive me of my sins this day. Lord Jesus, thanks for dying for us, and I m so glad that I serve a risen Savior. Thanks for all You do for all of us, Lord, not just on Easter, but every day of our lives. Lord, I just love You so much, I really do. Thanks for this day and taking us through another night. Thanks for watching over our family and friends. Dear Father, please let us hear from Matthew, and Lord, please take care of those on this line, heal their hurts, body parts and most of all their souls. Please, Lord, take care of our president and his family and all who service our country in the military. Lord, it is great to see the flowers starting to bloom. Now, Lord, please help me with my Easter message and help me to get it dispatched. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
My dear brothers and sisters, Happy Easter to all of you. I want to get right to the message today. Yes, I am writing this on Saturday as I will need to get up early tomorrow and study my Easter message, He's Alive.
Ester Sunday: April 20, 2014, He's Alive!!
Luke 24:1 - On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. 2 They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3 but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. 5 In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, "Why do you look for the living among the dead? 6 He is not here; He has risen! Remember how He told you, while He was still with you in Galilee; 7 "The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, be crucified and on the third day be raised again." 8 Then they remembered His words. (NIV)
Once again, my dear brothers and sisters, I want to tell you that you just need to get that Bible out and read it. It is so neat to see how Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John write their opinions of what they saw and what they heard. While there are differences in the story, again I point out that they might have heard it differently or even remembered it differently. That does not make a difference, the fact is the events happened and today we serve a risen Savior. Our Lord Jesus is alive and well and in Heaven.
I wrote from Luke and it talks about how the first day of the week. On our present-day calendar that would be a Sunday, and we celebrate Easter on Sunday, the first day of the week. Luke talks about the women and how they took spices to put on the body of Jesus. And when they arrived they found the stone that was placed in front of the tomb had been rolled away. It talks about how they found the tomb empty, and how two men in bright white clothing were suddenly standing there. They bowed their faces toward the ground and were asked, "Why do you look for the living among the dead?" I will point this out in scripture at a later time, but we do know this was a borrowed tomb and it was never used before. Once again we see Jesus using something that was never used before. Okay, so the women found Jesus gone and we know that the stone was in place and the tomb sealed, and back then tombs were sealed so animals would not get in and disturb the body or bodies. The men in white, or angels, asked the women if they remember when Jesus was still with them He told them this. "The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, be crucified and on the third day be raised again." Then they remembered.
Now in the Bible Luke goes on to tell us that the women were Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and they came back and told the "eleven" disciples and all the others. Peter, when hearing the news:
Luke 24:12 - Peter, however, got up and ran to the tomb. Bending over, he saw the strips of linen laying by themselves, and he went away, wondering to himself what had happened. (NIV)
In the book of John, he talks of two disciples running to the tomb, and one was Peter, the other was John himself. Let me go to the scripture now and point out something.
John 2:3 - So Peter and the other disciple started for the tomb. 4 Both were running but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. 5 He bent over and looked in at the strips of linen laying there but did not go in. 6 The Simon Peter, who was running behind him, arrived and went into the tomb. He saw the strips lying there, 7 as well as the burial cloth that had been around Jesus' head. That cloth was folded up by itself, separate from the linen. 8 Finally the second disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went inside. He saw and believed. (NIV)
While I could go on and on about Jesus being risen from the dead, I just want to point out this one last thing today. In John it talked about different things, John outran Peter, but Peter went into the tomb first. But the thing that stands out to me: The cloth was folded. If someone would have robbed the grave, they would not have taken time to fold the cloth, but more importantly than that, think about this. If you are out to eat and for one reason or another, like going to the potty or going for more food, you get up from the table, you fold your napkin and lay it beside your plate because you are going to come back. When finished with your meal you wipe your face (in my case, my long white beard) and you place the now well-used napkin on your plate. That would mean you are finished and not coming back to the table. So what does this mean? JESUS IS COMING BACK. DO YOU HER ME, I SAID JESUS IS COMING BACK.
One of these great days the trumpet of the Lord shall sound and time will be no more. The graves will be opened and Jesus will meet those who died in Christ in the air. Those who have passed away the soul goes to the Lord right away, but those tired bodies will be replaced when Jesus returns with our new heavenly body. After the dead in Christ are raised then those remaining who are "born again" will be taken.
We have had warnings, re you in Love with Jesus today? Have you been washed in the Blood of Jesus? Are you indeed "Born Again"? Are you now a saint and ready to march forth to be with Jesus? Please take time to read John 14:6 and Romans 10:9 and 10. Let's now pray a sinners' prayer, just to renew or to get someone started who might not have come to Jesus. Again, this will only get you started. If you are just coming to Jesus, PLEASE CALL ME. This is my cell phone, on day and night for new Christians or one's needing prayer. It is off only when I am in church. That number is 717 991 0754. The phone number of our ministry and food pantry is 717 691 8200. Now remember on this prayer, I cannot do this for you. This is one-on-one with Jesus, I can only lead you. This gets personal, it is between you and Him.
Dear Father in Heaven: I love You, and I believe in You. I believe that Jesus died on the cross and was risen from the dead, and I confess today that I am a sinner. Please clean me of my sins and put my name in the Lamb's Book of Life. I want to be with Jesus someday. Please help me to get working for You also. In Jesus' Name, I pray and confess. Amen.
Now go forth sharing your blessings. Please also pray for our president and our nation. Happy Easter. I love ya, and yes, please pass on my love to others.

Good Friday 4/18/14 He Died for Us!
Dear Father in Heaven: I love You. Thanks for dying for me!! Thanks for going to the cross to forgive me and all others, giving us a chance to be free. Lord, I pray that all people come to You. I pray that I will be able to work for You more and more. Lord, thanks for a great service today. Thanks for sending help, and thanks for having faith in me to work for You. Now, Lord, please help me with the daily message. And then please help me get it dispatched. In Jesus' name, I give thanks and ask my prayers. Amen.
Hi, brothers and sisters. Thanks for covering us with prayers for our concert. All honor and glory to God, it went well. We will talk more about the service in the future. Right now I want to get to the Good Friday message.
Good Friday: April 18, 2014, He Died for Us!
John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that he gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. (NIV)
Once again I tell you that I cannot type all the scripture needed to teach these lessons. You need to get your Bibles out and read them, and maybe you do. I typed out a few scriptures for today, this Good Friday. I do want you to remember that Jesus is alive today and is in Heaven with God The Father. With that said, I used the scriptures from John 3:16/17.
God sent Jesus, His one and only Son not just to die, and not to condemn, but to save the world. Now I know we are sinners and I know how much I sin and Jesus came to take on the sin of the world. That, brothers and sisters, is a lot to place on any one person, and Jesus and only Jesus, the one and only one without sin, took on our sin. I want you to think of that heavy load. Think about the load that is on you when you sin. How heavy is the load? I am talking mostly mental weight here, folks. While not all have come to Jesus, He welcomes everyone and He trusts us who are saved to get the word out. Are you doing your share of getting the word out?
Luke 23:34 - Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." And they divided up his clothes by casting lots. (NIV)
Each day I pray and when I pray I ask God to forgive me of my sins. I ask Our Heavenly Father, in the Name of Jesus, to be forgiven, and I was. Was there a time when people were forgiven without asking? Yes, and the scripture above shows me that. In Luke 23:34 we find Jesus asking His Father in Heaven, who is our Father in Heaven, to forgive all those who were putting Him to death. He did this for those who were involved in putting Him to death, all of them, the way I see it. He said, "Father, forgive them." And brothers and sisters, I am sure that Father God was listening to His Son. When we pass from this earth and we get to heaven, I am sure we are going to be surprised by some who are there, and more than likely surprised about who might not be there.
You know we must be "Born Again," and we just cannot work our way into heaven. However, once we come to Jesus, we must work for Him. As you all know, I pastor The Bridges of Bent Creek and Dolores is our minister of music. When I stand before our flock at The Bridges and tell them about working for Jesus, I always take time to tell them that even at their age, and by the way, we are also at that age, they can work for Jesus just by spreading His love to others and laying seeds for them to become saved. They can also show their signs of the love of Jesus by welcoming new residents into their family. You see, living at a retirement home, be it no care, some care, or full care, those people become family to one another. At The Bridges like other retirement homes, staff will greet people, and at The Bridges they do a great job of this, but those moving in become family to each other, new brothers and sisters. I watch with tears in my eyes as ones who still walk will push others in wheelchairs to come to church. Anyway, I drifted from my subject a tad, but what I am telling all of you, you must work for Jesus once you are saved. Just going to church and helping in the kitchen does not always cut it. Of course Jesus is that final Judge. No Judge Judy, or Judge Alex, or Judge Joe Brown, etc., for the Judge we all will stand before will be JUDGE JESUS! Let me move on.
Luke 23:42 - Then he said, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom." 43 Jesus answered him, "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise." (NIV)
This scripture is about the two criminals that were on the cross beside Jesus. As Jesus hung on the cross and the people were gathered cheering on the MURDER of our Lord Jesus, there were two criminals, one on His right and one on His left. Now Jesus was taken apart by one of them, but the other rebuked him (the other criminal) and said "Don't you fear God, since you are under the same sentence? We are punished, for we are getting what our deeds deserve. But this man has done nothing wrong." And it was after that he said to Jesus, "Remember me when you come into your kingdom." (Luke 23:39-42) (NIV)
Now I love this next part. Jesus told that criminal, "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise." Now this tells me that on that same day, on the same day as Jesus died on the cross, He escorted that one criminal home to heaven. I can picture this in my mind, Jesus going to His Father with the criminal and saying something like this. Father, please take care of this man, his sins have been forgiven. Now again I say that Jesus asked His Father to forgive them all for they did not know what they were doing, but what about that second criminal? He was warned by the one who stood up for Jesus, so did he make it to heaven? I am not sure, so we will find out when we get there.
Now folks, please go forth and share your many blessings. Love ya. And please share my love with others, and yes, that would also be sharing the love of Jesus.
Pastor Dan
Thursday 4/17/14 Gethsemane
Dear Father in Heaven: I love You. Please forgive me of my sins and help me, please, with another message for Thursday, Maundy Thursday, Lord. Thanks for your blessings of this day. Help me also dispatch the message. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.
Brothers and sisters, I am going straight to the message. And yes, this is the second message today. Please keep us in your prayers for our concert tomorrow.
Thursday: Maundy Thursday, April 17, 2014, Gethsemane.
Matthew 26:39 - Going a little farther, He fell with His face to the ground and prayed. "My father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as You will." (NIV)
There is no way I can type all the scriptures out for you so I need to pick and choose. I do suggest that you would read Matthew chapters 26 and 27 and that would take you pretty much through the events of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and right up to Easter Sunday and the Resurrection. I picked this verse for one very, very good reason.
When Jesus prayed to His Father in Heaven, our Father in Heaven also, He set this example for us. "Yet not as I will, but as You will." Now we have heard this before from our Lord Jesus and it comes from:
Matthew 6:10 - "Your kingdom come, Your WILL be done on earth as it is in Heaven." (NIV)
Yes, you should know this as part of The Lord's Prayer, and I wanted to bring this out, for indeed when we pray each day, we should be praying "Thy will be done." For indeed we must know and fully understand that God's will is always better for us than our own will. Sometimes we need to be reminded of this and that is what our Jesus is showing us at Gethsemane, which by the way means "oil press" and of course the location is on the Mount of Olives. Sometimes when we pray we expect things to happen and they do not. One recent prayer of mine was for my dear friend Dave, for we prayed and prayed for God to heal him and let him with us, but it was not god's will. Folks, I would love to tell you that I really understood the will of God,but I do not. But I do know this, "IF IT IS GOOD ENOUGH FOR JESUS, THEN IT IS GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME." And you can quote me on that one.
As a Christian, we walk in faith, and as I have told you many times, I believe in the Bible from the beginning to the end. I have seen some people question the Bible because some of the wording is different between the Gospels. I want to put it this way, I have no problem at all with the Gospels being worded differently, even as they quote Jesus. Jesus walked this earth setting examples, and His disciples traveled with Him. Not everything was seen and heard by each of them. Also when more than one person is watching something you will get more than one opinion of some of the details, but the main theory of the story would be the same. While today we do have some problems with some reporters reporting the truth, with that said, remember one of the disciples of Jesus sold Him out. If twelve of us this day wee to watch some events, say we went to school, we would arrive at different details, but the subject matter should be about the same. And then there would be some fall asleep, as happened to Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, who were James and John. One of those who would more than likely fall asleep would be me.
Okay, we are back to the will of Jesus being done and again I say, "if it is good enough for Jesus, then it is good enough for me." Again, please take time to read the full account of these events found in your Bible. And I will be back with the "Good Friday" message either later tonight or tomorrow sometime.
Now go forth and share your blessings. Love ya, and please pass on the love from me.

Thursday 4/17/14 The Last Supper
Dear Father in Heaven: Thanks for a great day, and thanks for taking me through it. Please keep me on track as I go through Holy Week. And Lord Jesus, thanks for all You did for us that appears to us this week. Lord, I have a lot of new prayer requests, and Lord, please forgive me as I do not have them in front of me right now to list them. I do remember one, Lord, please bless Tom Sansoni's new grandbaby and Tom's son and daughter-in-law. Also, Lord, please keep Your healing hand on Tom's kidneys. Now, Lord, please help me with the message and help me serve communion to all those who follow this line. And then help me get the message dispatched. Also, Lord, I am going to really need Your help on Friday. I need to lean on You so much, Lord. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.
Brothers and sisters, we are having communion this day. Please get some bread and some juice. You say you forgot your bread? Open that sandwich and take some bread! No juice, no problem, use water and think about when Jesus turned the water to wine. I want to get right to it this evening getting it ready for tomorrow. Reminder, please pray for Carry The Light Ministries as we travel some rough road for the next few days. It will be very busy. Now to the message, "The Last Supper."
Maundy Thursday: April 17, 2014, The Last Supper.
Luke 22:7 - Then came the day of Unleavened Bread on which the Passover Lamb had to be sacrificed. 8 Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, "Go and make preparations for us to eat the Passover." 9 "Where do you want us to prepare for it?" They asked. 10 He replied, "As you enter the city, a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him to the house that he enters, 11 and say to the owner of the house, 'The Teacher asks: Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?' 12 He will show you a large upper room, all furnished. Make preparations there." 13 They left and found things just as Jesus had told them. So they prepared the Passover. 14 When the hour came, Jesus and His apostles reclined at the table. 15 And He said to them, "I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer. 16 For I tell you, I will not eat it again until it finds fulfillment in the Kingdom of God." 17 After taking the cup, He gave thanks and said, "Take this and divide it among you. 18 For I tell you I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until the Kingdom of God comes." (NIV)
Let me just take a minute and review some of the scripture that I have typed out for you. Once again we see Jesus sending two of His disciples, Peter and John, ahead and told them what they would find. No one else but God could know all these things. They entered a town, they came to the man carrying a jar of water, and they followed him to a place we have called the upper room. I can remember years and years ago when Dolores and I took our motorcycle and rode down to Jim Baker's place. In there they had a building built that was to be just like the "upper room" from the Holy Lands. It was beautiful. Anyway, I can remember going to that upper room and being told about it. They also had prayer requests sent in and in a big glass case, and people would lay hands on those requests and pray over them in faith. And yes, prayer raised in faith is answered. Anyway, Peter and John found things as Jesus said they would be. Here is one thing I would like to point out. In all the pictures, prints, etc., of the "Last Supper" you always see Jesus at the center of the table, and you see six disciples, or apostles, sitting beside him, six to His right and six to His left. More than likely the table was positioned so that the men could gather all around it. However, that would not work for a "photo shoot" so we see pictures as we have them today. Let me move on.
Next we pray for the emblems that we will be using.
Dear Father in Heaven, please bless these emblems for us, please have them to be the body and the blood. The Body of our Broken Jesus if in the form of our bread and the Blood of our Lord Jesus is in the form of our juice. Please bless them in the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
Next we pray for God to clean us of our sins so we go to His table clean. I cannot pray this one for you. I will pray for my own sins to be washed away. Please pray this now yourself.
Dear Father in Heaven: Please wash me white as snow with the blood of Jesus that is still flowing from Calvary today, and permit me to dine with Him clean. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.
Okay, now we are ready. Please take your bread, the Body of Jesus!
Luke 22:19 - And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them saying, "This is my body given for you, do this in remembrance of me." (NIV)
Now your juice, the Blood of Jesus!
Luke 22:20 - In the same way, after the supper He took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is poured out for you." (NIV)
Thank You, Jesus, for dining with us this day. I love You, Jesus. Amen.
Now go forth and share your blessings, and by all means, share communion with someone today. Go to a Maundy Thursday service if you can. Love ya, and please share my love with others.

Wednesday 4/16/14 Warranty
Dear Father in Heaven: I love You very much. Thank You for taking us through another night and watching over our family, friends and ministry and those who work with the ministry. Lord, please touch the hands of Dolores so she can keep playing the piano. Please help us also as we work forward to our Good Friday service. Please, Lord, bless all pastors, priests, and all others that are working for You each day, and ready them for Easter when folks come to church that they do not see often. Bless them with special messages, and Lord, I am including myself with those pastors. Help me, Lord, bless my mind and body to do Your work. Please help me now with a daily message and then help me dispatch it. Jesus, be with President Obama as he leads this great country that You have trusted to us. I pray first for his soul and then that he comes to You with events before he just acts on them. Please also help my messages get through to him, by You, Jesus, planting them on his heart. And Lord, it is Salvation Wednesday for us on this line. Lead us to the unsaved and help us get them to the feet of Jesus to be saved. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen. And Lord, please be with those on that airliner, and I pray they are still alive. And now, Lord, a boat sinking with lots of people lost off the coast in Korea. Lord, help them, they are our brothers and sisters, Lord, please help them. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
Good morning, my dear brothers and sisters. JUST BREAKING. Please pray for those on a boat that laid over on its side near Korea. And yes, keep praying for those on that 777 and pray the folks are found alive.
It is cold here at the Southern Location of the North Pole, but praise God, there is no snow. Before my mind wanders, TOMORROW, please bring a slice of bread and some juice to the computer as we are going to have "online communion." May I suggest to you, if you can do this at your workplace without getting yourself fired, share communion with your friends. You can do it this way. Take a few slices of bread, get a small bottle of grape juice and a coffee cup. Get your Bible out and turn to Luke 22:19/20 and you will have the service. Break the bread first and pass it around, then open the juice, put it in the coffee cup and pass it around, each person dunking his bread (Jesus' body) into the cup of juice (Jesus' blood) and share. Also, it is a great day and a great way to have communion with your family and friends. Maybe even a COMMUNION PARTY!! Anyway, tomorrow morning, please come and have communion with us. It is Salvation Wednesday on the line. Please pray for the unsaved and for God to use you to bring in the lost, and I pray you are not one who is lost.
Please keep praying for our president. In a speech yesterday he was speaking out for God. PLEASE KEEP YOUR PRAYERS GOING UP FOR HIM.
Now I must get to the message for this day, Warranty.
Salvation Wednesday: April 16, 2014, Warranty.
Psalm 30:5 - For His anger lasts only a moment, but His favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. (NIV)
Hebrews 7:22 - Because of this oath, Jesus has become the guarantee of a better covenant. (NIV)
I want to talk to you about a "Warranty", or a guarantee if you want to use that word. Warranty, a "lifetime warranty," if you please. There are so many warranties today, on cars, on trucks, on homes, on a new roof for your home, on your pop-up toaster, on those things advertised on those information commercials that go on for hours and hours and they have warranties. If you read the fine print (and it is indeed fine print) you can read the details of those warranties. I know a lot of people who have spent a lot of extra dollars buying a product with a great warranty. Some even with a lifetime warranty, and yes, I have done that same thing. Let me tell you a short story here.
Years ago I decided I needed a scooter, one of those electric scooters, to use around my house. Although I could walk then and still do walk as much as I can, I needed this scooter to get up and down the hill around our home that God has blessed us with. Yes, this all came after I was hit in the rear while on our big Honda Goldwing back on December 24, 1990. Anyway, I shopped around for a good scooter which I was paying for out of our funds. (No government help.) After shopping around I found what I thought was the very best for the dollar. It was a Rascal made in Sewell, NJ by Electric Mobility and it offered a lifetime warranty on the frame and one and two-year warranties on the other parts. Wow, a lifetime warranty, guaranteed for a lifetime. The warranty on the main parts did not last long and I purchased used scooters of the same make to use for parts (like rebuilding an old car). Well, folks, it happened, the frame on my scooter failed, it split and is broken, and is falling in half. So yesterday I placed the call to Electric Mobility about my lifetime warranty. Well, guess what, my lifetime warranty died!! Yes, while the phone was answered by a company using the same name, they only sell parts as the scooter building business closed in 2012 and with it my lifetime warranty died.
So now we see the metal roofing being offered with a lifetime warranty, and what good is it if that company is out of business five years from now? What about roofing shingles? Do you want ones that are guaranteed for twenty or twenty-five years? Now some offer forty years, but you have no guarantee that those companies will be around. When I had my new garage built last year by our Amish brothers, the warranty was this. If you have a problem, call us and we will take care of it. A handshake was made and the deal closed. It is a good warranty, but there is one that is better.
The only warranty or guarantee you have on anything that will last a lifetime is the one we get when we come to Christ Jesus and we are BORN AGAIN. Does anyone want to say amen on this? The lifetime guarantee is on our life and depends only on our personal relationship with Jesus Christ. You might ask, how do I know that it is a good guarantee? Will it be there after I die? Here is my answer to that question. I believe what is in the Bible, and I believe it from the front to the back. I take it as all being true and correct. I also believe that we are "born again" through the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. And again our Bible is a history book and this is recorded history. Then if you need more than that, think about this. Year after year, you plant things. In the fall things die off, plants, flowers die off. Now they are blooming. It was a hard winter, but yesterday my tulips started to bloom, other flowers are already in bloom, our weeping cherry trees are coming to life. Rebirth is here. Brothers and sisters, do not put your faith in an earthly warranty for the ONLY WARRANTY THAT IS GOOD IS A WARRANTY BACKED BY OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST. Amen!
Now, brothers and sisters, please go forth and share your blessings. Love ya. And please pass on that love to others.
Pastor Dan

Tuesday 4/15/15 Paying Caesar
Dear Father in Heaven: I love You, and I ask that You forgive me of my sins as I start this day. Please, dear Lord, keep Your hand upon all of us this day and may we walk in Your light each minute of the day. Thanks for helping us yesterday. Lord, I give You honor and glory this day for answered prayers. Thanks for Your healing hand on one who had leukemia and thanks for the one who donated part of himself to see the other healed. This fine and true gift of life, given truly in love, is wonderful. Lord, it is a reminder of the life-giving blood Jesus gave to us on Calvary. Thanks, Jesus, for dying for us, and yes, for me, for I am so unworthy. Lord, please now help me with the daily message and then get it dispatched. And Lord, please watch over Matthew. And Lord, please heal Sandy. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
Dear brothers and sisters, please add Sandy Davis to your prayer lists. Sandy is very, very ill. Brothers and sisters, I received a really nice note from a reader yesterday. She lives in Philly and she sent me a note about Nancy Guyler who I listed for prayer yesterday. Nancy has leukemia.
This is Holy Week and my calendar is full for writing, but next week I am going to ask God to guide my hands and mind to write about a young man with a family who gave of himself to save the life of someone he did not know. Please pray for me this week as I write during Holy Week and also for Carry The Light Ministries as our singing part of the ministry steps out in concert on Friday for what just might be our final concert.
The concert is at The Bridges and is scheduled for 2:090 PM. Dolores is going to kick it off at 1:45 PM with 15 minutes of piano music. We are going to break in the middle of the concert for communion services and then after a short message we will return to singing. We need your prayers for this.
Now remember today is TAX DAY, April 15, 2014. So my message is on, well, what else? Paying Caesar.
Tuesday: April 15, 2014, Paying Caesar (Tax Day 2014).
Matthew 22:15 - Then the Pharisees went out and laid plans to trap Him in His words. 16 They sent their disciples to Him along with the Herodians. "Teacher," they said," We know you are a man of integrity and that you teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. You aren't swayed by men, because you pay no attention to who they are. 17 Tell us then, what is your opinion? Is it right to pay taxes to Caesar or not?" 18 But Jesus, knowing their evil intent, said, "You hypocrites, why are you trying to trap me? Show me the coin used for paying the tax." They brought Him a denarius, 30 and He asked them, "Whose portrait is this? And whose inscription?" 21 "Caesar's," they replied. Then he said to them, "Give to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's." 12 When they heard this, they were amazed so they left Him and went away. (NIV)
So today is tax day and I can already tell you what will be on the news stations all across the United States of America. Each station will have a TV crew at the local post office talking to folks who are dropping off those last-minute returns. Our Bible, the best history book of all times, is showing us that even in that day, people who are in charge of collecting tax money can have their picture on that money. Now just think about that for a minute and then look on the face of your dollars and even cents. And with all the great pictures of the men and ladies on the bills and coins over the years the biggest concern some folks have is that small wording on the bill or coin that states "In God We Trust." People want that removed!
Jesus tells us and it is recorded in scripture we are indeed to pay our taxes. We are to pay Caesar what is due him and we are to give also to God what is due to God. Now over the years it seems to me that "Caesar" has gotten greedy. Let's face it, there are a lot of Caesars with their hands out. You have Caesar from Washington, DC. And you have Caesar in each state house. You have Caesar in your county government and you have Caesar in your local government. You have Caesar in your school districts. And on this day you can be reminded that you have Caesar all around you. My little Martin Martin Jr. was just on my lap and he had his Caesar tag on his collar. Yes, his dog tags. You cannot go any place any day and not find a Caesar holding out their hand most often done by the hands of others as they collect what is said to be due to Caesar. I have heard it said more than once that there are only two things one must do. "Pay taxes and die." However, that is wrong.
Brothers and sisters, the Bible tells us, Jesus tells us, that we should give Caesar what is due him, and to Give God what is due Him. Praise God there is indeed only one God, and that is our Lord Jesus Christ. And if we indeed give to God he will bless us over and over again when we indeed give. Oh, and that statement, "Pay taxes and die," is indeed wrong. Oh, we must pay taxes, but if we love Jesus and have faith in Him, we are not going to die, just move on high. "Pay taxes and die." Not for me. I am going to pay Caesar and I have learned to pay God and I have faith I am going to heaven. So how do I know about this? Well, the Bible told me so. Let me show you. First to Hebrews. Only one God.
Hebrews 13:8 - Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. (NIV)
And now to show you how your dollars when invested in Christ grow when you give in faith.
Malachi 3:6 - "I the Lord do not change. So you, O descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed. 7 Ever since the time of your forefathers you have turned away from my decrees and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you," says the Lord Almighty. "But you ask, 'How are we to return?'" 8 "Will a man rob God? Yet you rob me. But you ask, 'How do we rob you?' In tithes and offerings." 9 "You are under a curse -- the whole nation of you -- because you are robbing me. 10 Bring the whole tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the Lord Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so many blessings that you will not have room for it." (NIV)
Now I have been going on and on. I have had people tell me that they do not have money left to give to God after paying their bills. I say, pay God first and then pay the bills and do it in faith. You can start with a small amount and then as your bank account grows, you can give more to God. I know it is hard to give completely off the top, for Caesar gets his share taken out first. But GOD tells us "Test me on this," and it is the only place that I know of in the Bible where it tells us we can test God. All else we are to be walking in faith, for we are indeed a faith-based religion. So let me close once again by saying this.
So forth and SHARE YOUR BLESSINGS and also know this. I love ya. Please pass on my love for others.
Pastor Dan
P.S. Please keep praying for our president. I heard him speak yesterday and he did talk about loving God. So please keep praying for him to come completely to God.

Monday 4/14/14 The Temple
Dear Father in Heaven: I confess I am a sinner and I also confess that I need to repent of my sins. I confess also that I love You very much, Jesus, and I ask that You forgive me of my sins and shortcomings and help me to repent and not sin again. Please be with those who we have listed on our prayer list last week, and today, Lord, I ask Your healing hand upon Nancy Guyler who has leukemia, and on Gospel singer Buck Rambo who is in a rehab hospital. Also, Lord, please keep Your h and upon Pastor Tim Beitzel as he steps through the door You have opened for him. Be with his family also. Lord, thanks for the blessings of the weekend, and now, Lord, please watch over our family, our ministry, and also be with our Matthew, wherever he is. Place Your healing hand on Dolores and also, I could use that touch. Now, please help me with the message and then please help me dispatch it. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
Good morning, my dear brothers and sisters. What a great day, The Son and the sun are both out bright this day, as they are each day. Some days the clouds cover the brightness of the sun, and some days our blindness covers the brightness of The Son. This week will be very busy and go past fast. So let me get right to the message, The Temple.
Monday: April 14, 2014, The Temple (One).
Mark 11:11 - Jesus entered Jerusalem and went to the temple. He looked around at everything, but since it was already late, He went out to Bethany with the Twelve. (NIV)
Luke 19:45 - Then He entered the temple area and began driving out those who were selling. 46 "It is written," He said to them, "'My house will be a house of prayer,' But you have made it a den of robbers." (NIV)
I wanted to show you how Jesus went into Jerusalem on what we call Palm Sunday, and after that He went to the Temple. But the main point of the day's message is Jesus going into the Temple and what He found. In the Temple He found people selling things, exchanging things for money. And He got upset, and He drove out those who were selling, referred to as money changers. I think it also shows us that Jesus can get upset when someone goes against what His Father, our Father, wants for all of us. Think about it, folks. I also want you to think about what might go on in churches today. In the sanctuary areas. While I pastor a retirement community, one that does not have a chapel, the room is used for many things. However, some of the church-sponsored retirement homes, as the Church of God in Carlisle, PA, have a chapel inside the home. I have never seen that chapel used for anything other than "the Lord's work." But what about you where you go to church? Is the sanctuary used for other things that are not for the work of God? I have been in some where the church things are cleared and the kids have basketball or other games as the building was built for more than one purpose. And I have also seen where things are sold, a flea market is held to raise money, and while it is for the church, DOES THAT MAKE IT RIGHT? While I know money needs to come in to float the bills of the church and other workings for God, I also think there is a line that can be crossed. I think that when the deacons of churches sit down and talk about events that might be going to go on in the church sanctuary this scripture needs to be brought forth and used in making the decision. If money is to be raised it should be raised by what goes in the offering plate, and then if additional funds are needed, maybe a tent should be rented. I think crossing the line, and using the "Temple" for other than God's work is a line you might not want to cross. I will hear about this, but maybe if "churches" would get back to doing what God wants according to His Word found in the Bible, there might not need to be so many fund raising things going on.
One time when I was doing the cooking for the Bus Museum and selling the food, and this was for fund raising, I decided to sell all the food by donation. I had a sign up that said by donation and if you could not afford anything, I would put in the donation. More money was raised with less help that year than any other year. God is good, and when we do things for Him, He will surely bless the event. When we go against Him, well, go back and see what He did in the Temple.
Now go forth and share your blessings, and please remember that if you go to church, the church has bills to pay. Share your blessings and watch your blessings grow. Love ya, and please pass on my love.

Friday 4/11/14 The Entry 5
Special prayer request today for John Dellinger who has Pulmonary Fibrosis and prayer for his wife Jan and their son Johnny. Also pray for Barb Paules.
Dear Father in Heaven: I love you very much. Please forgive me of my shortcomings and sins. Thanks for trusting me to work for You. Please help me this day with my message and to get it dispatched. And Lord, thanks for sending help to the food pantry this day and also sending in those who need food. You are wonderful and loving and so gracious and I really want to give You all honor and glory for it. Now Lord, please guide and direct me, and not just for an hour or a day but for the rest of the days You give to me, and may I work each one for You and work hard making up the lost time when I was not working for You. Again, Jesus, I really love You and pray in Your wonderful Name. Amen.
Brothers and sisters, blessings in the name of Jesus on this beautiful Saturday afternoon. Yes, I know it says Friday at the top. However, it is Saturday and I am just now getting to the Friday message. We had a great Friday and Saturday doing God's work that He gave us to do. Friday Grant and I went and purchased 50 hams and brought them back to the food pantry. We then started to make final preparations for today's food preparation. Later, Wanda joined us and together we worked through the day. Joanne came later in the day with potatoes, bread, and cereal donated to us from another food pantry. This morning started with prayer as Grant and Wanda were first to arrive so Dolores and I huddled up with them in prayer. Later a wave of helpers came and we got set up and formed our prayer circle and went to God again. The day went excellent as only God could work it out. And it was a great day, needing only shirtsleeves to work in. (Yes, the rest of the shirt also!) Lots of folks came and prayers were offered up with all who came. Prayers first and then cars were loaded. As helpers left hugs were flying, and then as we ended the day, Grant, Wanda, Dolores, and I again circled and gave praise and honor to God. GOD IS SO GOOD. We do have a few prayer requests, and I left my notes down in the food pantry, so I will post them later. Special thanks to all who came and helped, and we will give all honor and glory to God for this help. Now let me get to the message. Happy Palm Sunday. Now to The Entry.
Friday: April 11, 2014, The Entry (Day Five).
Matthew 21:8 - A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. 9 The crowds that went ahead of Him and those that followed shouted, "Hosanna to the Son of David!" "Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!" "Hosanna in the highest!" 10 When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, "Who is this?" 11 The crowds answered, "This is Jesus, the Prophet, from Nazareth in Galilee." (NIV)
Luke 19:39 - Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, "Teacher, rebuke your disciples!" 40 "I tell you," He replied, "if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out." 41 As He approached Jerusalem and saw the city, He wept over it 42 and said, "If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace -- but now it is hidden from your eyes. 43 The days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you and encircle you and hem you in on every side. 44 They will dash you to the ground, you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of God's coming to you." (NIV)
I picked up today in the book of Matthew as I wanted to bring out not just how Jesus' disciples praise Him, but also all the folks, the crowds of people who praised Jesus and sang praises, and put their cloaks and palm branches on the roads, and children praised Jesus also. This coming week we will talk about how things changed in just a short amount of time. But for today, let's go out singing and praising God. How about it? Now I am going to sing one today that will have you shaking your heads. But think about it and the words of this first verse.
Joy to the world, the Lord has come. Let earth receive her king.
Let every heart prepare Him room, and heaven and nature sing,
and heaven and nature sing, and heaven, and heaven and nature sing.
Now you an see, brothers and sisters, that in this town on this day there is Joy because indeed the Lord has come. Please, brothers and sisters, never miss a chance to sing and praise the Lord. You say you can't sing? Please read Psalm 100.
Now go forth and share your blessings and please go to a good church tomorrow and listen to the word of Jesus. I love ya. Please share that love from me to others.

Thursday 4/10/14 The Entry 4
Let's start a tad differently today. Please Pray for Reverend Timothy Beitzel, who has been assigned as pastor at the Full Gospel Assembly of God Church in Indiana, PA. Pastor Tim's first Sunday will be Ester Sunday morning. Congratulations, Dear Friend.
Dear Father in Heaven: I love You. Please forgive me of my sins as I start another message and please bless this message and help me with it. Dear Father, please then help me dispatch it. Dear Father in Heaven, thanks for opening a door for Pastor Tim, and I pray You will walk each step with him as he settles in out in Indiana, PA. Dear Father, I also pray You healing hand on my dear brother Tom Sansoni and ask You heal his kidneys. Please also be with and heal Patsy and Burt, Barbara and Vicki, and all others on this line who need Your touch. Be with Grant and me as we go out for hams tomorrow, and we also pray that potatoes come in. We pray also for a nice weather day for our distribution for You this Saturday. Again, Jesus, I just want to give You thanks for watching over our family and friends and the flocks You have assigned to us. I pray and give thanks in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Congratulations to Pastor Tim on his assignment in Indiana, PA. This will be his first church assignment for the Assembly of God Church. I wonder if those folks know they are getting a pastor with such a rich bass/baritone voice? God be with you, Brother Tim. Everyone on this line will be lifting you in prayer. Now on to the message, The Entry.
Thursday: April 10, 2014, The Entry (Day Four).
Luke 19:32 - Those who were sent ahead went and found it just as He had told them. 33 As they were untying the colt, its owners asked them, "Why are you untying the colt?" 34 They replied, "The Lord needs it." 35 They brought it to Jesus, threw their cloaks on the colt and put Jesus on it. 36 As He went along, people spread their cloaks on the road. 37 When he came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen. 38 "Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!" "Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!"
Brothers and sisters, as we go forth toward Palm Sunday, we need to be looking into how the people praised our Lord Jesus. We can see according to scriptures that the disciples who were sent ahead found the colt just as Jesus told them. He also had prepared them for the questions that would be asked of them. We also see how they brought the unused colt back and put their cloaks on its back and put Jesus on the animal. Just as a side note: On Palm Sunday I always wear a coat that needs to go to the cleaner, for each year in my message my coat gets used as an example. Anyway, the ride of Jesus into Jerusalem has now started and for sure Jesus is worthy of the praise. As His disciples were praising Him for the miracles they had seen as they traveled with Jesus, we also should be praising Jesus for the miracles we have seen in our lives. So I say to you this day, please think back over your life and try and remember all the miracles you have seen. Let me get you started by saying if you have children you have been witness to the miracle of birth. You need to be praising God, praising our Lord God, our Jesus, for all He has done for us. Let's do just a tad of that now before I sign out for today. Praise You, Jesus, Thank You, Jesus, I love You, Jesus. j All honor and glory to You, Jesus. Praise You, Jesus.
Now go forth praising Jesus and sharing your blessings. Love ya. And please pass on my love to others.

Wednesday 4/9/14 The Entry 3
Dear Father in Heaven: I love You. Please, Lord, forgive me of my sins and help me walk each day with You. Please, Lord, heal those that we prayed for yesterday, and Lord, thanks for watching over them. Thanks, Lord, for this beautiful day which you have granted unto us. Lord Jesus, I appreciate that You have watched over me and my family and the folks on this line and the flocks You have given me to work with on this great earth. Now Lord, please help me with the message and then help me to get it dispatched. In Jesus' name, I give thanks and pray. Amen.
Brothers and sisters, it is Wednesday, and that means it is Salvation Wednesday on this line. I ask of you to go back to my writing of yesterday and read it over again, and I am talking about the steps to salvation through Jesus Christ. Please use that information to help you lead others to Jesus to be saved. Please remember that we cannot save anyone, we can only lead them in. Saving them is the work of Jesus. This is a great season to get people to come to Christ. I pray all pastors are preaching Salvation messages at this time of year when the C and E people show up in church. "C and E" people, my term for Christmas and Easter, for believe it or not, some folks are willing to give Jesus just two hours per year. As you know, you are always welcome to use what I write, but I will never push that on you and tell you if you use it you will get special blessings. Jesus is the one who issues the blessings, not me. Now onto the message, "The Entry."
Salvation Wednesday: April 9, 2014, The Entry (Day Three).
Luke 19:28 - After Jesus had said this, He went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem. 29 As He approached Bethphage and Bethany at the hill called the Mount of Olives, He sent two of His disciples, saying to them, 30 "Go to the village ahead of you, and as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, which no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here. 31 If anyone asks you 'why are you untying it?' tell him, 'The Lord needs it.'" (NIV)
There are just a couple of things I would like to point out from this scripture today. Remember I used most of this same scripture on Monday. I talked about the Donkey Colt and how it was never ridden. Today I want to point out how in this scripture Jesus is telling us that He, Jesus, is indeed our Lord God. First, and we will find out more about this tomorrow, how everything Jesus told His disciples was fact. I am talking about where the colt would be found and what to tell those who might question why they were taking the colt. No one but our Lord God would know these things and be able to see ahead, and since it was Jesus saying this to His disciples, that means to me Jesus is indeed our Lord God. Then of course we take a look at this verse.
Luke 19:31 - "If anyone asks you 'why are you untying it?' tell him, 'The Lord needs it.'" (NIV)
So we see Jesus is telling all, telling everyone, He is indeed Lord. And brothers and sisters, make no mistake about it. JESUS IS LORD!!! Can someone say AMEN? AMEN, and AMEN!
So now go forth, walk with Jesus, repent of your sins, and share those wonderful blessings that God has given to you. I love ya. And please share that love with others.

Tuesday 4/8/14 The Entry 2
Dear Father in Heaven: I love You very much. Please, dear Lord, forgive me of my sins and help me repent. Help me also to walk with You daily and live for You each day. Please put your arm around Linda and her family and comfort her. Also comfort Beverly. Lord, please place Your healing hand on Pam and touch her back. Your touch on Patsy, Burt, Barbara, Dolores, Gabby and her family, Vicki, the young man hit by a truck. Lord, please be with pastors as we are coming into Holy Week. Please be with us in Carry The Light Ministries as we have many services also. Lord, I am humbled that You would trust me to do work for You, and I want to tell You that I appreciate that trust and I am sorry I did not get started with it in my younger years. Please, Lord, now bless me with a message and help me to get it dispatched. Again, Lord, I love You, and thanks for a beautiful day. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
Good evening, brothers and sisters. If you want to look back over a writing you might have missed, you may so so at www.carrythelight4jesus.blogspot.com where you will find all my writings posted. We could use some helpers this Saturday to help load out cars, pack potatoes, fill bread bags, etc. We need our helpers here between 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM. We start our distribution at 9:00 AM. This is a fun time. God is good. Amen. Now let me get to "The Entry."
Tuesday: April 8, 2014, The Entry (Day Two).
Revelation 3:20 - "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door I will come in and eat with him, and he with me." (NIV)
Matthew 7:7 - "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened." (NIV)
Brothers and sisters, I want to take a side trip today on "The Entry." As you might have expected I would be going forth with "The Entry" as in going on to Jerusalem and making The Entry there. I want to speak to your heart and talk to you just a tad about "The Entry" into your heart by our beloved Jesus. If you have seen the picture of Jesus standing at the door and knocking, you will find there is no doorknob on the outside of the door. In other words, the door has to be opened from the inside. Brothers and sisters, I want you to picture your heart like this. No knob of any type to open it from the outside. I pray that all of you have already given your heart over to Jesus and are "born again." I pray that you have confessed your love to Jesus and asked Him to forgive you of your sins. However, if you have not, I want you to picture this.
I want you to picture Jesus standing in front of you and knocking on your chest. On your heart, so to speak. This is what these scriptures mean, it means that Jesus wants into your heart and has even DIED TO GET THERE. However, He is not going to "let Himself in." You must invite Him in. Remember, the door has no doorknob on the outside. You are the same way. Jesus is not going to "force Himself" on anyone. He wants you to invite Him in. Trust me, once you make this choice and you invite Him in and He dines with you and you with Him, this meaning you are living now for and with Jesus, your life will change. Hear me again on this. Once you invite Jesus into your heart, YOUR LIFE WILL CHANGE.
I don't know how many of you in your life have gone "church shopping," meaning you maybe have moved and you are looking for a good church, a new church for you. You will find that some churches will have ushers there to open the doors for all folks and you will be treated special as a visitor. While other churches will have no greeters and maybe nobody will even talk to you. Don't feel alone on this, these same churches treat Jesus the same way. Some will welcome Jesus, and others you would wonder if they even have Jesus stop in. So folks, I want to take you now to a few different scriptures. However, before that I do want to make this statement. Jesus is the only way to heaven. Your church, your pastor, your friends, your father, not even your mamma, can get you into Heaven, just Jesus. While all the others can lead you, either toward Christ or away, only Jesus can get you home. Now let me back it in scripture.
John 14:6 - Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (NIV)
Now here is what you must do, and again I am going to the scriptures.
Romans 10:9 - That if you confess with your mouth "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. (NIV)
Now I could have saved the day's message until Easter, however, if you are not saved and you go into Easter already saved, you will enjoy it so much more. And if you by chance do not make it to Easter, at least you have heard about the way into Heaven and I pray today you will make the commitment to God and to yourself. It starts with a simple prayer and then just getting out your Bible and learning to lean on Jesus. And if you have questions, please by all means call me or email me. Phone 717 691 8200 or icarrythelight4God@msn.com. Now will you pray with me, and if you are already saved, "born again," please pray along and get renewed.
Dear Father in Heaven, forgive me of my sins, and please come into my heart and heal my heart and take me as Your child. I want to live for You, and yes, I do believe in You and have faith in Jesus. Save me, Lord, please save me. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
Now go forth and share your blessings. Love ya, and please pass on that love to others.

Monday 4/7/14 The Entry
Dear Father in Heaven: I love You, and I thank You in advance for seeing me through this day. Please, dear Lord, forgive me of my sins. Thanks fr helping us through a very busy week last week, and Lord, today we need Your help again. Please be with our president and please be with our veterans and our current military and keep them safe. Please, Lord, bring peace to our nation. I pray for those who are lost on the airliner and I pray they are still alive and You will show our leaders where they might be. Be with their loved ones as they wait this out. Please be with Carry The Light Ministry team as we enter into this very, very busy season and try and walk it with You and show others that they also need to walk it with You. Please help us to teach the full and complete story of Jesus as we understand it from the Bible and by You planting it on my heart. Now please help me with the daily message and then to send it out. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.
Brothers and sisters, I am praying that the messages that God gives me now will follow His footsteps on His last weeks on earth. Please pray for me as I write these. Thanks to all who came and helped to pick and pack, and thanks to all who are coming to help this coming Saturday. God is good, folks. Amen. Now let me get to the message. Oh, and please be sure to pray for our president, and please pray first that he finds Jesus and takes Him into his heart. Pray that President Obama talks things over with Jesus before he brings them to the people of the world. And pray for our other leaders to be in touch with God also. Our country NEEDS TO TURN BACK TO GOD. Someone please say Amen.
Monday, April 7, 2014, The Entry (Day One).
Luke 19:28 - After Jesus had said this, He went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem. As He approached Bethphage and Bethany at the hill called the Mount of Olives, he sent two of His disciples, saying to them, 30 "Go to the village ahead of you, and as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, which no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here." (NIV)
Numbers 19:1 - The Lord said to Moses and Aaron: 2 "This is a requirement of the law that the Lord has commanded: Tell the Israelites to bring you a red heifer without defect or blemish and that has never been under a yoke." (NIV)
1 Samuel 6:7 - "Now get a new cart ready, with two cows that have calved and have never been yoked. Hitch the cows to the cart, but put the calves away and pen them up. 8 Take the ark of the Lord and put it on the cart, and in a chest beside it put the gold objects you are sending back to Him as a guilt offering. (NIV)
Brothers and sisters, I start this week on what I am calling The Entry which will lead later in the week to The Triumphal Entry and what we call Palm Sunday. By the way, and I did want to mention this, I am trying hard to make the daily messages shorter. You would think that it would be easier to make a short message than long, but when you have been vaccinated with a phonograph needle, you tend to go on and on. Anyway, with that said, let me get moving.
What I want to bring out to you on the scriptures that God pointed me to today is the one thing the same in each scripture is that what is needed for God to use has never been used before. A virgin, if you please, as was Mary, the mother of Jesus. I will indeed bring out more scriptures this week on the Donkey Colt, but for today I just want you to ponder on the fact that this little donkey colt was never sat on. In the scripture in Numbers, the "red heifer" was never under yoke and was to be without defect or blemish. In the scriptures in 1 Samuel, the two cows were never under yoke, meaning never hooked up as a team. And if you noticed, even the cart where the Ark of the Lord was placed was never used. What is this telling us? What is Jesus pointing out to us? We need to remember that Jesus, The Only Son of God The Father, was also without blemish, He was without sin. I would like to say that He was not used, and He was not used until He was born, and now I would think that Jesus is used over and over and over again. That statement is mine, of course, and to me it means that His blood was poured out to cleanse us of our sins and His blood is still flowing today, and Jesus is the same and each day He is used more and more. Now, brothers and sisters, Jesus wants us to lean on Him, or to use Him, but I do not think He expects us or wants us to keep using Him. I am sure He wants us to REPENT and stop our sinning and just coming back to be cleansed. However, speaking on my behalf, I am sure glad that the fountain does not run dry.
Tomorrow we are going to dig deeper into The Entry, and I know He wants me to be sure to tell you this. Please go forth and share your blessings, for God has blessed all of us well. I love ya. Please pass my love on to others.

And please remember to pray for President Obama.
Friday 4/4/14 Meek! 3
Dear Father in Heaven. I love You and really appreciate all You do for us each day. Thanks for trusting me to work for You each day. I give You honor and glory for this day and for healing my bones before I reached the doctor's office this day. Thanks for mending me. Lord, please be with Vicki, Ruby, Patsy, Burt, Barbara, Dolores, Karen, Donna, Beverly, and touch each one according to their needs. Bless and protect those coming to help pack food tomorrow. Thanks for watching over our family and our online flock, our flock at the Bridges and all of Carry The Light workers and also those coming for food. Now Lord, if You would please help me with the message today and then help me to dispatch it, I would appreciate it. And Lord, please forgive me of my sins and shortcomings. I love You. In the Name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
Brothers and sisters, people who say that God does not heal just need to see an x-ray of a broken bone and then see one a few weeks later when the break is mended and then try and say who healed it. This happened to my left hand. It was broken and showed on the x-ray. Today it was x-rayed again and the break was healed. ALL GLORY AND HONOR TO GOD. This has been a really neat week. Monday and Tuesday God did not plant a message on my mind at all. I prayed and talked with God over and over again. No message. Then He gave me messages on being Meek and also gentle and how to be humble. He set the example and told me to write about it and more so to listen to what He is telling me to write and put it into my personal practice. I have told you over and over again, I believe that a good many of the messages were not just for those on the line but for me also, and sometimes I think more so for me. Let me get to the message. And I pray I will see some of you tomorrow. I will have the hot dogs on. Now to the message.
Friday: April 4, 2014, Meek! (Day Three)
Philippians 2:5 - Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, 7 but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant being made in human likeness. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to death, even death on a cross! 9 Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (NIV)
Yesterday in scripture I pointed out how Jesus was meek and also gentle. Today I want to talk to you about how Jesus was also humble. Our attitude should be the same as our Jesus. Jesus was meek and He was gentle and He was also humble. If we take on the attitude of Christ Jesus, then we also will be humble and meek and gentle. If all of us would take on the attitude of Jesus, now think about this, if EVERYONE would take on the attitude of Jesus, there would not be wars, no abortion, no gay marriages, no sin, nothing. It sure would be nice, it would be peaceful. Our daughter Danelle told folks this morning on Facebook that you should start your day by counting your blessings. Yes, we should do that and then we should take those blessings and share them. I know this man who signs off each day telling others to share blessings. Now the best way to be like Jesus is to pray, read your Bible and each day do your best to love Jesus and love all others, including your very own self. And please, be meek, humble, and gentle.
Now go forth and share your blessings. Love ya. Please pass on the love to others.
