Thursday February 2, 2012 Flying for Christ

Isaiah 40:31  - But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They WILL SOAR ON WINGS AS EAGLES. They will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. (NIV)
Dear brothers and sisters, my surgery today is for 1:15 PM and I must be there by noon, so we are leaving in just a little bit. We have been praying for the Stoner family and them flying for Jesus. Please keep them in your prayers and also please check their web-site...
Also Ron Leidigh's cancer has returned as it was all but gone, healed by God, but Satan wants another run on Ron, so let's get praying again for him.
Also pray for his wife Donna who is have some heart problems, and their daughter Shelly who is in stage 4 kidney failure.
Father in Heaven, hear our prayers this day for Your people, Ron, Donna and Shelly and Lord, also for Billie Jo who is in the hospital and needing your touch and yes, Lord, be with me as I have surgery today... Lord, Your will is wanted and expected on our requests, as we pray for folks... And Lord, be with the Stoners as they work for Jesus... I pray in Jesus' name, Amen.
Go forth now sharing your blessings, and loving others... Love ya, Pastor Dan.     (Read on for information about the Stoners.)
Dan, I got this from their website, www.fasterandfather.com.
Dan and Rachael Stoner are excited to pursue a full-time career position with the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism. Their current assignment is to Togo, West Africa as pilot/mechanic church planters. They will join a seasoned missionary team in Togo that have been involved in medical missions and church planting since 1974. The vision for the Stoners ministry in Togo is based on the concept of flying. Flying is used to go farther, faster. They want to speed existing ministries, making them more efficient. Travel in Togo is arduous, and many times, using the airplane will allow the missionary to avoid many risks (difficult roads, night travel, robbery, etc.). The missionary will arrive refreshed and ready to minister, without the need of a day for recovery from traveling. Use of aviation in Togo will allow the existing ministries to reach farther; to go where missionaries have been unable to access, within Togo and internationally to Ghana, Benin and Burkina Faso.
