Salvation Wednesday 7/27/16 Where Are Your Kids?

Dear Father in Heaven: I lift You and give You praise. I love You because You first loved me and still love me. You loved me so much You gave Your Son Jesus for me. Please forgive me of my sins this day. Please, Lord, place  Your hands on the young father who has had a stroke. Please place Your healing hands on the Roman Catholic church in France where their 84 year-old priest had his throat cut by the terrorist group ISIS while serving his church. Two nuns and two others were held captive. Please, Lord, help them. Please, Lord, ready all of us who follow Jesus to know this could be any one of us at any time. Please, Lord, help me with the message and to get it dispatched. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

Dear brothers and sisters. A priest lost his life for the Lord today right in the church he served. Two nuns and two others have been taken hostage, and I understand as I am writing this, that has just ended. Two more police officers attacked in America, one was murdered. The other day there was another shooting in a night club. I think it was in Sebring, Florida. That night was "teen night" at the night club as reported. They showed a 12 year-old black youth that had been shot in the hospital.

The two nights before that hundreds of teens and preteens and some "gray haired" teens came forth to be saved at the International Youth Conference held at Jimmy Swaggart Ministries in Baton Rouge, LA. So I ask this question. Where are your kids? Years ago there was a saying, "Do you know where your kids are?" So today I want to talk to you about that subject.

Salvation Wednesday: July 27, 2016: Where Are Your Kids?

Last Friday evening Gabriel Swaggart gave the message at International Youth Conference and on Saturday evening his father Donnie Swaggart gave the message. Each night a call for Salvation was given and between the two nights hundreds, I said hundreds of young folks came forth and gave themselves over to God to be saved. Brothers and sisters, this was real, the tears were flowing and some of the kids were face down as they accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior while others who already were "Born Again" lay over them praying for them.

In another state not too far away children as young as 12 years of age were shot in a night club at 1:00 AM. Two were dead and a lot were wounded and I believe the police captured the shooters. I believe that shooting was gang related, and not one claimed by ISIS or one of the other terrorist groups. It looks like it might have been a black on black crime. But what is the difference, those very young kids are dead, shot at a time they should have been at home with their parents and in bed sleeping. AMEN.

The kids that came forth to be saved at the International Youth Conference were kids of many colors. Sort of like that song we learned in Vacation Bible School years ago. Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world, Red and Yellow, Black and White, they are precious in His sight. Jesus loves the little children of the world.

The kids that were coming forth to be saved were followed by others who already were Born Again. Dolores and I prayed along with others as those children, Red and Yellow, Black and White, and blends of other colors, came to be saved. And what were these kids seeking? They were seeking God and forgiveness of their sins and heaven!!! And what were the kids in the night club seeking? Maybe they did not look at it this way, but they were seeking Satan and hell!!!

Colossians 2:13 - When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, 14 having canceled the written code, with it regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; He took it away, nailing it to the cross. 15 And having disarmed the powers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by The Cross. (NIV)

Before we came to Jesus this scripture fit us well, and those kids coming forth to be saved were still in their sinful nature, but by the authority of Jesus Christ given to Him by God The Father our sinful nature was taken away when we became covered with the Blood of Jesus. Notice that He forgave us ALL OUR SINS, and brothers and sisters, that means PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE SINS. Once and for all for everyone who calls on Him to be saved. Brothers and sisters, right now I call on you to pray for these new Christians and pray even harder for those who chose the night club over the cross. And also pray for the parents of those kids. Brothers and sisters, growing up I had a curfew and if my parents said I was to be home by 9:00 PM, I had better been there. My curfew growing up in the city was "I had to be home before the street lights came on." And trust me when I say, I had better been home.

Even here in Harrisburg, my hometown, most of those being shot are shot sometime after midnight and a big percentage of those are under 18 years of age. Parents, where are your kids? Maybe if you would be sure they are home with you, you will have them for another day. Take them to a good church and introduce them to Jesus, and if you are not in a good church, find one. The other day we watched a message by John Hagee, and not once did he mention Jesus and the cross. In fact with the subject he was preaching on, the way he preached it, Dolores and I would have no chance of getting into heaven, because we are both divorced and Pastor (?) Hagee said that was not forgivable. To this I say to Pastor (?) Hagee, GO READ YOUR BIBLE, YOU NEED TO COME TO THE CROSS!!!!!!!! Amen.

Praise God, most of and I hope all of the readers of this line are saved. If you are not saved, please send me an email to icarrythelight4God@msn.com and give me your phone number and I WILL CALL YOU. Now go forth sharing Jesus. Love ya.

Pastor Dan
