Dear Father in Heaven: Thank You for another beautiful and blessed day. Lord, I need to get back working for You. I have been slacking off I guess and not praying enough. Please help me with messages and then to get them out in a timely fashion. Please be with Grant and Wanda and comfort them and help them with their very busy schedule. Lord, please forgive me of my sins and help me to repent. In Jesus' Name, I sing praise to You and lift up my prayers. Amen.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ. I love you. I am sorry I seem to be hit and miss on writing. I want to keep writing but I have not been receiving messages from God as I did. I think I am letting pain overwhelm me and I need to be standing stronger with Jesus against this pain. So I am going to attack a new subject and ask for your prayers as I do this. My subject is "Repent." I believe I not only need to write about it but also look strongly at my own self and work harder on repenting and telling others why it needs to be done right now. So as I start on this subject I want to look at one from the Bible who was a front-runner for Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, and of course I am talking about John, as in John the Baptist. I more than likely fit his description best as I have always been on the wild side when it came to my looks. I pray all of you are doing okay. Yesterday I entered the third quarter of my life. Born in Harrisburg on May 16, 1941, I am 75 and in good health except for lots of pain from a motorcycle accident and arthritis all throughout my body. Anyway, let me get to the message.
Tuesday: May 17, 2016: Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is Near (Day One)
Luke 3:4 - As is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet, "A voice of one calling in the desert, 'Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for Him. 5 Every valley shall be filled in, every mountain and hill made low. The crooked roads shall become straight, the rough ways smooth. 6 And all mankind will see God's salvation.'" 7 John said to the crowds coming out to be baptized by him, "You brood of vipers!" Who warned you to flee from the wrath? 8 Produce fruit in keeping with repentance do not begin to say to yourselves, 'We have Abraham as our father,' for I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham. 9 The ax is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire."
Repent for the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus' return is near. This is not only what we should be doing but also what we should be telling others to do. REPENT for Jesus is coming back soon. In the scripture above in verse 9 it tells us that the ax is at the root of the tree, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut and tossed into a fire pit. In other words, it is time for we, we who call ourselves Christians, to start producing fruit. We need to be getting out God's word, telling others about Jesus, the Cross and Salvation. So where do we start? I have been addressing this over and over in my mind lately and it seems that God has not sent me messages. What I need to do and I suggest that we all do it, is go to a mirror and address our own selves. Before we can put out good fruit for the Lord we must have our roots dug into the scriptures so we can be setting examples. We need to be saved, I mean really saved, and we need to repent of our past sins and let them go. We do not want the ax to cut us down and toss us into the fire for indeed the fire that the Bible is talking about is the fire of Hell. So will you join me and start with yourself this day, looking deep into your soul, praying and talking to Jesus and getting a good blood bath and then getting ready to go on the road however you can and tell everyone to REPENT for our Lord Jesus will be returning soon? Yes, I am going to do this and I pray you will join me. Look deep into your mind and even try and look at what you might be thinking about. Look at how you are living. How is your lifestyle? Is it pleasing to God? Today I want to go back and pray once again a prayer of renewal and ask that you might join me. I will even say "please" before it is too late.
Repent for Jesus will be returning soon.
Dear Father in Heaven, I want to repent, really repent. I am tired of playing around. I want to get down to serious business. I know Jesus died on the cross for me and was risen from the dead, and I know I have been saved, but I need to start fresh. Please clean me up this day. Please help me to get out the word about Jesus. Please, Lord, help me. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
Now, brothers and sisters, go forth and serve Jesus and remember He is coming back, and I think it will be really soon. Let us get to work for Him. Love ya.
