Thursday 4/16/15 Yes, You Can! (2)

Dear Father in Heaven: I love You, and I ask that You cover me with the Blood of Jesus to make me clean on the inside. Father, please watch over our President and his family and all those who work at the White House. It seems security is bad. Please, Lord, be with our military, those who served and those who are serving today. Lord, please be with police officers and protect them and help them use the brains You gave them. Be with our firefighters and first responders, and please, Lord, protect Chief Coburn as he is still active. Father, thanks for sending help each time I turned around today and thanks for giving me a chance to witness to others along the way. Please help me now with the message and to get it dispatched. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

Brothers and sisters, what a great day, just beautiful and wonderful. Today I took Dolores to her dentist and I went to Lowe's to get a few things. I parked my truck, took two canes and headed for a scooter. One employee noticed I now struggle to walk and just went and got the scooter. I thanked him and gave him God's love. Inside the door they had a special on bottled water. I was trying to load one case and a "Big Dude" said, let me do that for you. I wished him well in the name of Jesus. I got the shopping done and had a really great cashier, and I asked her if she loved Jesus because she had that Jesus smile. She said "yes." I then went out to load my truck. I was off the scooter when this very, very nice couple from Harrisburg asked if they could load the truck. I could see Jesus on their faces, and YES, we held hands on the parking lot of Lowe's and prayed together. Now for a point of reference, the employee was a white man, the Big Dude appeared to be, a really big guy, the cashier was Hispanic, and the couple in the parking lot were both African American. All of us had one thing in common. At that point all were working for God. On days when the news is bad, this will give you some peace of mind knowing that MOST ALL PEOPLE ARE GOOD. All honor and glory to God for Him sending me helpers. You just need to walk it out in faith when you go out. Now to the message.

Thursday: April 16, 2015: Yes, You Can! (Day Two)

Luke 13:23 - Someone asked Him, "Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?" He said to them, 24 "Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to." (NIV)

Now we look at the scripture and we address ourselves and think, am I going to be able to get through the gate? Then you say to yourself, I am just not sure. To that I will say, Yes, You Can! You really, really can, IF, if you love Jesus and follow Him in your daily walk. Here is just one of the many scriptures in the Bible that if you follow you will see just why I say to you, Yes, You Can!

John 14:6 - Jesus answered: "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (NIV)

We must remember when we say Yes, We Can, when it comes to getting into Heaven it must be done with our faith in Jesus getting us there. It is very, very clear tome that we cannot just approach God the Father, that Jesus is our advisory, He is our spokesperson. He will be the Umpire, the one who will call us "Safe or Out" at Home.

Some folks think they can make it without Jesus, and to that I say that you cannot. Are you able? Yes, I am able but only with the help of Jesus, and I will change my wording to say "Yes, We Can!"

Today when I started to cross the street at Lowe's I was the one saying I just can't do this today, and then what happened was just God saying "Yes You Can," and He helped me by sending me the tools to get the job done. He sent me the man with the scooter, the "Big Dude," the Hispanic lady and the African American couple.

Tomorrow, more on "Yes, You Can!" But maybe it will take some to have an attitude adjustment.

Dear Father in Heaven: Thanks for sending me the help, and Lord, with You, we will make it. In Jesus' Name, I give thanks and all honor and glory. Amen.

Now pray and go forth and share your blessings. Love ya.

Pastor Dan
