Wednesday 4/29/15 Love or Hate! (3)

Dear Father in Heaven: I love You and I really appreciate all that You do for all of us. Lord, please be with our military, our police, firefighters, and first responders as they seem to be put in harm's way by protesters in several towns. Lord, today was a hard day. Thanks for Your comfort during this trying day for us. Lord, please bless me with a message that will share Your love and then to dispatch the message on this our Salvation Wednesday. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

Dear brothers and sisters, it was indeed a trying day for us here at the Southern Location of the North Pole. Today after many, many prayers and many tears we had to say goodbye to three dear, dear friends. Most of you know that over the years Dolores and I have adopted many senior dogs to let them live out their lives with us. Today with the help of our veterinarian who came to our home and with the help of dear friends Grant and Wanda, we said goodbye to Mickey and Minnie, two small chihuahuas who we have had for about eight years. According to our records they were 15 years old. That was so hard, and at the same time we also said goodbye to "Morgan," our beloved little Yorkshire, who we have had for over nine years. Morgan was blind when he came to us. He was almost 23 years old. Again, this was a hard decision but it had to be done. Please pray for us this day in the home-going of our beloved rescues. We still  have four, three rescues and our dear little Martin Martin Jr. And we will not be rescuing any more dogs. We also  have two beautiful cats.

Please remember that this is Wednesday and that makes it Salvation Wednesday on this line. Please also pray for our nation, as you can see our nation is in trouble.

Please remember that on Saturday there is a "Support Our Troops" Rally on the Capitol steps in Harrisburg, PA. The time is from noon to 1:00 PM. I have been blessed again to give the opening prayers and the benediction. Please cover me with prayer as I do this mission for God. Now to the message, Love or Hate.

Salvation Wednesday: April 29, 2015: Love or Hate (Day Three)

2 Chronicles 7:14 - If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. (NIV)

I have watched and watched the events that are going on in Baltimore, MD and now some in New York. First, I do not know what caused the death of the man who died in the hands of those police officers who had arrested him and put him in the "paddy wagon," but I do know this, burning of the city, burning cars, stealing from stores by looters is not helping anything or anybody, it is just causing more and more trouble. I have noticed that one thing is really missing, one very major thing. GOD IS MISSING. The pastors taking to the streets are not trying to bring God back into the picture but are making excuses why this has been happening. If the people of thee towns would get their children and take them to church and teach them those two basic things, Love God and Love Your Neighbors, things could get turned around. I watched as one young man was showing his marks on his body after he was shot with "bean bags." The young man was asked by the news reporter what he did to be shot with the bean bags. He stated that he did nothing except throw bottles and bricks at the police. He should be glad that he was not shot dead!! That same man talked about different ways he was treated when when he was arrested. He stated sometimes he was treated roughly, other times gently. So how many times was he arrested? I have no idea. But it sounded like a lot of arrests. The only way I know that we will ever get peace in our neighborhoods, black or white, is if we get back to God. IT IS THE ONLY WAY, BROTHERS AND SISTERS. More money for schools will not help, more free things will not help. God and love will be the only way to ever get these things straightened out. This is also a world-wide problem, not just in our big cities. Last night two shootings in Harrisburg. Every night you can count on someone being shot between Harrisburg, York, Lancaster, Lebanon, Carlisle, and points between.

I do not want to labor on this point, so what I am going to do is this. Pastors, please start pushing people to pray for our nation and to pray for Peace. Brothers and sisters, please start praying and pray for peace, and brothers and sisters, please pray boldly and pray until something happens. PRAY, WARRIORS, PRAY. Please do not stand and point fingers, please just pray. Pray, pray, and pray some more. And ask others to pray. God is not just an answer, He is the only answer. Again, do not place blame, place prayers. Let me get that started.

Dear Father in Heaven. In the Name of Jesus I ask that You heal our country, that You help Your people bring love and not hate. Help us to walk in the Light of Jesus and offer up our hand of love and friendship. Please, Lord, help politicians not to promise to get votes, but to work with people. Lord, put Your loving hand around peace-keepers, helping them in all they do. And Father, please send Jesus back soon. Until You come to get us, please help us to be a light of Yours to point out Your love and helping show others You are indeed the only way. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

Now go forth praying and sharing God's love and your blessings with others. Love ya.

Monday 4/27/15 Love or Hate! (2)

Dear Father in Heaven: I love You. Thanks for a very nice day, and thanks for being with me in all I did. Father, thanks for watching over family and friends, and Lord, thanks for watching over this line. Please help the words of Pastor Phil and the music of The Couriers to get to the hands who follow this line. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

Brothers and sisters, today instead of my writing a message, I just want to forward to you these words from Pastor Phil Enloe and then the song "The Cross is My Statue of Liberty" as sung by The Couriers recently at the United Nations. My dear wife Dolores spent 12 years as secretary for The Couriers, and these men helped me so much as I grew nearer and nearer to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Please take time to listen to this. Some of you have been to concerts over the years and have heard The Couriers. Then if you are willing, please pass this one along. Now go praying and sharing and loving others. For the only way to stomp out hate is by the Love of Jesus. Amen. Love ya.

Pastor Dan

Please let me know what you think!

Friday 4/24/15 Love or Hate!

Dear Father in Heaven: I love you very, very much. Thanks for taking care of me yesterday an each day, dear Lord. Father, after my writing the other night about fear, I laid it all out to You and was very relaxed. Father, thanks for all You do for all of us, and Lord, please help me to keep trusting in You for everything. Thanks for taking care of this line, and I pray today for all who use it. I pray for the families of all who use this line, and I pray that those reading this line will witness to others about Your love of all of us. Please, Lord, help our country come back to You. Please, Lord, help us to love and not hate. Help me today with a message and then to get it dispatched. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

Dear brothers and sisters, thanks so much for covering me with your love and prayers. All that fear I had for naught!! God is so good, and I want to give Him all the glory. Yes, brothers and sisters, I have some pain, but not nearly as much as our Lord and Savior took for me. Next Saturday I, God willing, will be on the Capitol steps in Harrisburg for the annual Support the Troops Rally. It is on Saturday, May 2, 2015, and it starts at noon and lasts one hour. Again, thanks for covering me with your prayers and also for the ongoing support of the missions of Carry The Light Ministries. Tomorrow, two new families are coming for food, referred to us by my doctor as people who have "fallen on hard times."

Coming soon at Carry The Light Ministries, a clean-up day. A lot of people say they want to help. I will be posting the date very soon. Did I tell you lately that I love you? Well, brothers and sisters, I really do love you. And God has pointed out to me today about "Love or Hate."

Friday: April 24, 2015: Love or Hate! (Day One)

1 John 3:11 - This is the message you heard from the beginning. We should love one another. 12 Do not be like Cain, who belonged to the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own actions were evil and his brother's were righteous. 13 Do not be surprised, my brothers, if the world hates you. 14 We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers. Anyone who does not love remains in death. (NIV)

From the beginning of time we are told that we should love one another. God first showed His love for us when He created the universe and everything listed in the story of creation. The last thing God created is man, Adam and Eve, and God then turned everything He had created over to them for them to take care of. That, brothers and sisters, was the very start of love. You will recall that God made Adam first and then, even with all else Adam had, he still needed someone to hold and love, so then God made Eve. And how did Adam and Eve show their love for God? By not obeying Him. So let me fast forward to our scripture in 1 John. We need to love one another. We know that Cain murdered and that is not love. Cain made a choice to walk with evil and Abel walked with God. So today I must ask you. Where do you walk? You cannot both love some people and hate others. I don't care who the people are, we need to love them. However, we do not nor should we approve of the sins of others, or our own sins as a matter of fact. In this scripture it talks about how we love our brothers, and brothers here means "fellow believers," male or female. But we must also love those who do not love God, who are not believers, as God has told us to love God and love our neighbors. I am going to be writing more about love in the coming days as God gives those messages to me. We must start loving each other. All you need to do is watch the news on television and you can see the hate. So this weekend when you are standing in front of your mirror doing whatever you do looking into the mirror, I ask that you address yourselves as I am also going to do the same thing. Here is what I want you to ask yourself when standing looking at the beautiful face looking back at you. Do I love everyone, or am I hating someone? Really, we all need to do this. Then we need to talk to God and ask Him to help us love others, all others, even if they hate us. I did not say this would be easy, but necessary if we really want to be "heaven bound" in the end. Let's pray about this.

Dear Father in Heaven, You have loved and still love us so much, and we so often do not appreciate it. Lord, make our love stronger for You and also for others. Teach us, dear Lord, point out where we are falling short in our Love for Others. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

Now pray and go forth trying your best to love others even more and I will try and do the same, and why? For we need to do this for God as it is what He has commanded us to do. Love ya. And please pass on my love also.

Wednesday 4/22/15 Fear!

Dear Father in Heaven: Thanks for another beautiful day. You are wonderful and I love You, and I know You will watch over me tomorrow, and I give You glory for doing that. Thanks for taking care of our families and our friends and all those who use this line. Please keep Your hand upon Art and Elaine and help them. Please be with Glenn and Marie and their family. Lord, strength is needed by those in their family. Be with Dolores tomorrow and keep her strong and with Grant as he watches over and helps me. Lord, please help me with the message and then to get it dispatched. Thanks for all You do, and Lord, on this our Salvation Wednesday, help us to lead others to Your feet to be saved. I love You and I pray in the name of Jesus, my Lord and Savior. Amen.

Dear brothers and sisters, it was indeed a beautiful day here at the Southern Location of the North Pole. Beautiful with a nice shower at noon. Ministry partner Wanda Crockett's parents are in need of prayer. Please cover Glenn and Marie with prayer for healing. Also, Wanda so that she can get some needed rest. Please remember it is Salvation Wednesday and the day we work extra hard to witness to others. Time to get to the message, Fear!

Salvation Wednesday: April 22, 2015: Fear! (Day One)

Proverbs 1:7 - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline. (NIV)

Job 1:8 - Then the Lord said to Satan, "Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil." (NIV)

1 John 4:18 - There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. (NIV)

Brothers and sisters, you will recall that often I think God is giving me a message to write to all of us, yes us, you and me. I confess to you folks, and I know God is watching over me, so I am also confessing this to Him. Lately I have had this fear in me, the fear of falling, the fear of Dolores falling, and really a fear of this being put to sleep Thursday to have my dental work done.

I mean I have some of those standard fears like I have always had, a fear of height, and I can get over that, I just do not climb. But this fear is different. The Bible tells us that the real fear we should have is of God, and I do have that reverent fear of Him and His powers.

When I look at the scripture from Proverbs, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline." I can only say to this that I am acting like "A Fool" and I need to overcome that and trust more and more in the Lord each day.

In the scripture from Job: "Then the Lord said to Satan, 'Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil.'" I already knew, this is just God pointing it out to me again that it is Satan trying to get me and he is causing this fear. I know deep in my heart that God is in control and He will be in control of what happens on Thursday and each day of my life. I told Dolores just before I started writing that we need to work harder at taking one day at a time. Here I am writing to others and I have this fear myself. So today I am going to try harder to put away the fear, and I am going to pull on you folks who have been with me for years and years to just cover me with prayers not just for this surgery, but with all the moves we are making as Carry The Light Ministries takes on different missions. I will write more about the new missions of Carry The Light in the very near future.

Then I look at this scripture: 1 John 4:18 - "There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love." I look at this now and I just know God is telling me that my "love for Him" is not perfect. If my love for Jesus was perfect then indeed I would not have fear of these things, I would just have that reverent fear of our Lord Himself.

So what is God pointing out to me and also to those of you who carry this kind of fear? He is pointing out to me that I need to love Him more and more, that I need to move even closer to Him and I need to work even harder at repenting of my sins. I need to pray harder to keep Satan away from me. I need to learn not to have concern over things I have no control and trust more and more in God who has CONTROL OVER ALL THINGS. Do you folks know where I am coming from? I need to work harder to keep that Jesus smile on your faces and while I am doing that, maybe mine is slipping some and I need to work harder on my own Jesus smile. So brothers and sisters, I would appreciate you all praying for me for awhile, cover me with prayer while I am down for a few days and for God to bring me back fresh and with more and more improvement in my love for Him, which I thought was good. I know this, I love Him above all else and I know that He loves me just as I am. However, I am sure He wants me to keep working to get better in my love for Him. Does this make sense to you folks? Let me know.

Dear Father in Heaven, I know I love You, but help me get even better at it and at repenting of my sins. Block Satan from my life, and help me fight him off. Protect me and all others who are really praying this with me. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

Now pray and go forth, and try hard to walk with your only fear being of our Lord Himself. Love ya.

Tuesday 4/21/15 When the Graves Open! (2)

Dear Father in Heaven: I love You very, very much. I really appreciate and give You all honor and glory for watching over families and friends. I also appreciate all Your answered prayers when the storm was passing over last evening. You are so wonderful and I just want to give You praise, honor and glory for all things in  my life. Please, dear Lord, be with Your people worldwide, and Lord, please be with our police officers, and please be in Baltimore, please, Lord, help us work harder and harder to get people to be saved, for You are the only answer to all that is going wrong. Please, Lord, protect our President and give him wisdom to handle problems, and I do pray that he comes to You for all things before he takes it to the nation. Please be with Beverly Bosak for blood pressure and other problems and David Evelhock who is having brain surgery. Please, Lord, help me with the message and then please help me to get it dispatched. In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen.

Brothers and sisters, please pray for our nation and also for what is going on around the world. All of what is going on could be avoided is, yes, if, everyone really LOVED JESUS. But they do not, so we must go forward. Please cover Beverly Bosak with prayer and also David Evelhock. Also please cover me on Thursday morning and please remember I will not be writing for a few days due to dental surgery. I missed yesterday as we had severe storms in the area and twister warnings going on. Our computers are in a room with glass all the way around. We prayed and prayed as we watched the storms go over us. Then we had wind and hail and no damage. Praise God, praise God. Now to the message, When the Graves Open.

Tuesday, April 21, 2015: When the Graves Open! (Day Two)

1 Thessalonians 4:13 - Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. 14 We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in Him. 15 According to the Lord's own Word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will come down from Heaven with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. (NIV)

1 Thessalonians 4:14 - "We believe that Jesus died and rose again." (NIV)

John 20:1 - Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance. (NIV)

Now if we truly believe that then we will also believe that someday we who love Jesus will be risen also, starting with those who were "Born Again" and had passed away, then those who are "Born Again" and are still living. But what about those who died and were not "Born Again," will they rise? This answer might surprise you.

John 5:28 - "Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear His voice 29 and come out -- those who have done good will rise to live, and those who have done evil will rise to be condemned." (NIV)

Looks to me like ALL the graves will be opened. While we need to get the work done now for the Lord for once we pass, it is too late to be Born Again, so we must get the Good News out about Jesus and His saving grace and also for we must be sure to tell the people about the need to repent. You remember John the Baptist, saying "Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is near"?

John 11:38 - Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance. 39 "Take away the stone," He said. ... 43 When He had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, "Lazarus, come out!" 44 The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen and cloth around his face. Jesus said to them, "Take off the grave clothes and let him go." (NIV)

Now I want you to look at Lazarus, who had died, and was "risen" and came out of his grave that was open by others, when Jesus told them to do it. Lazarus came out when called by name and if Jesus had just said, come forth, all the graves would have opened. So we have proof that graves were opened before Jesus was crucified and was buried and was risen. So it makes sense that unless God calls us all out by name that all will rise. Now a question for thinking. Will Lazarus again be risen from the dead at the end? Of course, so will he not have been risen twice?

Now go pray and then go forth, telling people the good news and spreading the Love of Jesus. Love ya, and you may pass on my love also.

Sunday 4/19/15 When the Graves Open!

Dear Father in Heaven: Blessed again today, thank You for that, and all of our blessings each day. Thanks for safe passage for Art and Elaine. Thanks for the neighbor You sent to help today. Thanks for The Cross on which You died, Jesus, and thanks for living in me. I know I can be a mes. I am so excited about what You planted on my mind today. I want to get started right away. Please help me with that message and then to get it dispatched. I love You, Jesus, and I know I really need to do a better job of repenting, and it seems I just need to hold onto You tighter each day. Lord, please be with Pastor Larry and all those going to the Church of God conference. All honor and glory to You for all things. In the Name of Jesus, I give thanks and pray. Amen.

Brothers and sisters, while sitting in our living room having church, we were talking as we waited for the service to start. We were talking about how the graves are going to burst open when the Lord returns. I do want to get to the message, but I ask that you keep us covered with prayer this coming week. And starting Thursday I will more than likely be taking a rest. I am going to have the rest of my teeth taken out and being put to sleep to have it done. I mentioned it before, and I really would appreciate your covering me with prayer. Also, please keep the Church of God conference covered in prayer this week.

Okay, let me get to the message:

Sunday: April 19, 2015: When the Graves Open! (Day One)

1 Thessalonians 4:13 - Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. 14 We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep with Him. (NIV)

Brothers and sisters, over the last decade or so, I have had the honor of pastoring some funeral services and some of those military services. As one who loves the Lord ABOVE ALL ELSE, also loves our veterans and our military, I love using the example at graveside of how when that bugle (or trumpet) is used to play taps the body of a fallen warrior is lowered into the ground. I tell those gathered that some sweet day the TRUMPET OF THE LORD SHALL SOUND AND THE DEAD IN CHRIST SHALL RISE. Praise the Lord, Praise the Lord.

Anyway, Dolores and I were discussing this as we were waiting for our church service to start and we were talking about those whose bodies were cremated and the ashes placed in small containers called urns. I have been asked what my opinion was about cremation compared to the burying of the body in a casket. Will it make a difference when the Lord returns? My answer was no, as we are going in a flash to meet the Lord in the clouds. (See the scripture above.)

Now we talked a tad about this and then I started to laugh, and that is when God gave me this message. Now if you are saved you will have nothing to worry about, but think about this. Not only will the graves burst open in the cemeteries,  but some highways are going to be broken open. How do I figure that? Think about it, how many highways have been placed over graves? Look at Route 83 North and the Colonial Park exit. I can remember when they tried to move caskets so to widen the road, but they broke open spilling bones all over the place. Yes, some were gathered, and some were not. Paved over, they were. The old Salem Chapel on the Carlisle Pike in Mechanicsburg more than likely has graves that have been paved over.

So moving on, I started to laugh, and this really is not funny. Think about this, the ashes of a loved one from long ago are sitting on the shelf beside the television and those shes have been passed down from generation to generation. Well, if those ashes in that urn were of someone who was "Born Again" will burst open, yes, burst open and if those in the room were NOT Born Again, they will not have a clue what is going on, or if they had heard, now it is too late.

So let me ask you this today, if that Trumpet of the Lord should sound right now, will you be seeing those graves broken open? Those highways coming apart? That urn sitting beside your television splitting open? Have you come to Christ? It is Sunday, or maybe until you read this it will be Monday, but I am asking right now, are you right with the Lord? It is either yes or no, there is no maybe. Are you on one side or the other or sitting on the fence between? Sitting on the fence does not cut it. Are you ready to go to Heaven? Or are you ready to go to Hell?

Brothers and sisters, I am very serious about this. Please, if you have not asked Jesus to come into your heart, will you please do it right now? Will you pray this in faith?

Dear Father in Heaven: I love You and I confess I am a sinner and I want to be saved. Right now I confess my love for You, Jesus, and I invite You into my life and into my body. I believe You were born of a virgin, died on the Cross, were risen from the dead, walked the earth again and then rose to Heaven to sit with God our Father to judge us. Please, Lord, place my name in the Lamb's Book of Life. Please save me, Lord. In the Name of Jesus, I ask this and pray. Amen.

Now if you are saved either before or just now, it is time to go to work for our Lord. Spread the Good News.

So pray first and then help get the WORD out about Jesus. Please, let's get it done for Jesus. Love ya. More on the same scripture tomorrow.

Friday 4/17/15 Yes, You Can! (3)

Dear Heavenly Father: With Your help today, we, You and me, Jesus, got it done, and I want to give You all the honor and glory for those things. Lord, You walked each step with us today, and I appreciate it. Sorry, Lord, I am such a sinner. Thanks for watching over families and friends. Lord, please be with families, and the families of those who use this line. I seek forgiveness for messing up. Please, Lord, watch over Your people and Your church and use us who love You to help get the lost to Your feet. Please help me now with the message and to get it dispatched. Again, thank You for a great and wonderful day. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

Dearest brothers and sisters. Another beautiful day here at the southern location of the North Pole. I pray all of you folks had as good a day as this old man had. I want to get to the message and maybe God will let me work what happened tome today into the message. So let me get right to the message.

Friday: April 17, 2015: Yes, You Can! (Day Three)

Proverbs 12:17 - A truthful witness gives  honest testimony, but a false witness tells lies. (NIV)

Hebrews 2:18 - Because He Himself suffered when He was tempted, He is able to help those who are being tempted. (NIV)

You can't do this! "Yes, You Can!" No, you can't do this! Oh, "Yes, you can!" Brothers and sisters, if you are having a day like that what you are having is a classic case of Satan trying to take you from Jesus. I have had this happen often, and sometimes I would give up. NO MORE!! I am working harder at listening to Jesus after I pray. Do you ever feel like you are being pulled apart, being tugged back and forth? That, my brothers and sisters, is going on all the time, it is the fight between good and evil, and it goes on in our minds all the time, well, it does in mine, anyway. There are several things we must remember when this occurs. We must keep talking to Jesus. Satan will tell you, you can't do this, and Jesus will tell you, "Yes, you can." In all things this could happen to you, but you can overcome this by praying harder when you talk with Jesus and even as you are doing things. Satan will do anything he can do to get you. He will torture you in your mind. It is okay to yell at Satan, like this. SATAN, IN THE NAME OF JESUS, I ORDER YOU BACK TO HELL WHERE YOU BELONG!!! YOU ARE NOT WELCOME AROUND ME!! And then you can tell Satan this. Satan, I want you to know this. I LOVE JESUS!! You can see in our scripture of today that since Jesus was tortured by Satan, He can help us deal with it. For those of you who right now are being tempted or tortured in your life by something, let's give it over to God right now.

Dear Father in Heaven, many people are being tortured by Satan telling us we can't do things, and Father, we have Jesus, and Yes, we can do these things if You will please take those forces of evil out of our lives. We sure would appreciate it and give You all honor and glory for it. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

Now for those who don't think you can work for Jesus, I want you to listen to this. On Friday morning Dolores and I set out to get a few things done. First to the beauty shop to make Dolores even prettier than she was when we left the house. While she was in the beauty shop I made a few phone calls to some people who might need food. I scheduled two for Saturday. When we left there we went to pick up some dry cleaning. Dolores went in and paid, and the young lady carried out the winter cleaning as we can't do this. She stopped at the window long enough for me to hold her hand, pass a blessing on to  her, and yes, get a kiss on the cheek. Then we headed to Carlisle, PA, as I needed to h ave my driver's license picture taken. We arrived and I went to the back of the truck and got out my walker. I went into the PennDot photo center, helped through the door by others going in. As I looked which way to go, a lady sitting at the camera said, "May I help you, sir?" "Yes, you can!" I said to her. I told her I was there for my photo and she asked if I had the photo card, and I said I did. She said, I can help you now, just come on around. I went around, up to the counter in front of her, and she had the best smile, and she was so nice. She was about 55 I would think. She was just so nice and took her  time, and when finished I got up out of that picture chair and went to her to get my new driver's license. Then it happened, I said to her, please give me your hand, and right there in that PennDot building we had prayer together. CAN SOMEONE SAY AMEN? Then back out to the truck and off with Dolores to find a place to stop and eat our lunch which was a leftover sub from the day before. Okay, then off to home.

Now do not leave me yet. As you know, I am a car nut and recently I purchased a 13-year old car with low miles, I mean really low. The car looked new, and there is nothing like talking to a former owner. However, dealers do not give out names. Inside the car, deep in the owner's manual, I found an insurance card with the former owner's name on it. So I picked up the new phone book that just came in the mail on that same day and yes, their number was in the book. So I called and their machine picked up. I started out saying, "This is Pastor Dan Lehman and I purchased your 2003 Cadillac CTS" and with that this lady picked up the phone. Well, we talked about her car, that she could not drive anymore because of severe back pain and she said it had been setting for a long time as she has had seven back surgeries. Long story short, she is going to see I get service records, but better yet, she welcomed prayer for her back. And we prayed together over the phone, and yes, I was on the phone for at least 30 minutes with a new-found Christian brother and sister. Only God, I said ONLY GOD, can put things together like that.

Why am I telling you this? Because you can do this also. Look around you. Be alert for people you can pray with. Some I prayed with years ago when I would help them, now it seems to be the other way around, but one thing for sure, there are many people out there hurting, needing love and prayer, and YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE, God will help you, and don't say no, say "YES, I CAN." And I will add this. "YES, YOU CAN." For if I can do it, so can you as long as we do it with and for Jesus.

Now pray and go forth serving the Lord and sharing your blessings. Love ya.

Thursday 4/16/15 Yes, You Can! (2)

Dear Father in Heaven: I love You, and I ask that You cover me with the Blood of Jesus to make me clean on the inside. Father, please watch over our President and his family and all those who work at the White House. It seems security is bad. Please, Lord, be with our military, those who served and those who are serving today. Lord, please be with police officers and protect them and help them use the brains You gave them. Be with our firefighters and first responders, and please, Lord, protect Chief Coburn as he is still active. Father, thanks for sending help each time I turned around today and thanks for giving me a chance to witness to others along the way. Please help me now with the message and to get it dispatched. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

Brothers and sisters, what a great day, just beautiful and wonderful. Today I took Dolores to her dentist and I went to Lowe's to get a few things. I parked my truck, took two canes and headed for a scooter. One employee noticed I now struggle to walk and just went and got the scooter. I thanked him and gave him God's love. Inside the door they had a special on bottled water. I was trying to load one case and a "Big Dude" said, let me do that for you. I wished him well in the name of Jesus. I got the shopping done and had a really great cashier, and I asked her if she loved Jesus because she had that Jesus smile. She said "yes." I then went out to load my truck. I was off the scooter when this very, very nice couple from Harrisburg asked if they could load the truck. I could see Jesus on their faces, and YES, we held hands on the parking lot of Lowe's and prayed together. Now for a point of reference, the employee was a white man, the Big Dude appeared to be, a really big guy, the cashier was Hispanic, and the couple in the parking lot were both African American. All of us had one thing in common. At that point all were working for God. On days when the news is bad, this will give you some peace of mind knowing that MOST ALL PEOPLE ARE GOOD. All honor and glory to God for Him sending me helpers. You just need to walk it out in faith when you go out. Now to the message.

Thursday: April 16, 2015: Yes, You Can! (Day Two)

Luke 13:23 - Someone asked Him, "Lord, are only a few people going to be saved?" He said to them, 24 "Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to." (NIV)

Now we look at the scripture and we address ourselves and think, am I going to be able to get through the gate? Then you say to yourself, I am just not sure. To that I will say, Yes, You Can! You really, really can, IF, if you love Jesus and follow Him in your daily walk. Here is just one of the many scriptures in the Bible that if you follow you will see just why I say to you, Yes, You Can!

John 14:6 - Jesus answered: "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (NIV)

We must remember when we say Yes, We Can, when it comes to getting into Heaven it must be done with our faith in Jesus getting us there. It is very, very clear tome that we cannot just approach God the Father, that Jesus is our advisory, He is our spokesperson. He will be the Umpire, the one who will call us "Safe or Out" at Home.

Some folks think they can make it without Jesus, and to that I say that you cannot. Are you able? Yes, I am able but only with the help of Jesus, and I will change my wording to say "Yes, We Can!"

Today when I started to cross the street at Lowe's I was the one saying I just can't do this today, and then what happened was just God saying "Yes You Can," and He helped me by sending me the tools to get the job done. He sent me the man with the scooter, the "Big Dude," the Hispanic lady and the African American couple.

Tomorrow, more on "Yes, You Can!" But maybe it will take some to have an attitude adjustment.

Dear Father in Heaven: Thanks for sending me the help, and Lord, with You, we will make it. In Jesus' Name, I give thanks and all honor and glory. Amen.

Now pray and go forth and share your blessings. Love ya.

Wednesday 4/15/15 Yes, You Can! (1)

Dear Father in Heaven: I love You, and I ask that You give me a good scrubbing. I love that I can talk to You whenever I need to, but I am sorry, I do not do it often enough. Thanks for such a beautiful day, and thanks for watching over families and friends. This, Lord, is our day we call Salvation Wednesday. In doing this I pray that You will help us lead even more people to Your feet to be saved. Please help me now with the daily message and then to get it dispatched. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

Brothers and sisters, what a beautiful day. Sorry about yesterday. The hackers were at the computers and it took awhile to get them working. When done, I started to write, but my head wanted to hit the keyboard, so I stopped and went to bed. Hey, it is Wednesday and that means it is Salvation Wednesday on the line and the day we work even harder to lead the unsaved to Jesus to be saved. Please keep Dolores and myself in your prayers for awhile. Satan is trying to bring us down. Also, next week, on Thursday, I need to have eight teeth removed, and that is all I have left. I am getting put to sleep (bad term) to get it done. One of our Yorkshires just had eleven teeth pulled and my bill was $400 and he was overnighted two nights and that was included. With what I am paying, I think I would sooner have our vet do them. Anyway, God is giving me a new message, and I am excited about it. Ready? I am.

Salvation Wednesday: April 15, 2015: Yes, You Can (Day One) Pay Those Taxes

Matthew 19:26 - Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." (NIV)

Jesus was talking with His disciples when He made this statement. And while Jesus was talking about salvation, I want to look at that and some other things. As you are aware, Jesus is indeed the --

Hebrews 13:8 - Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. (NIV)

So with that said you will have an idea where I am coming from. You have heard me talk about "Salvation" many times and you have heard me say that I cannot save you, nor can anyone else, but God can. We can only lead people to Jesus to be saved. To that many people will say, I don't know how to do that, I can't do that, and to that I say, "Yes, You Can!" and why do I say that? Because with God all things are possible! He will give you on the spot knowledge for this.

I have learned that if I really work at it, I can do it. I have struggled with things, really struggled, and lately I have even said, "I can't do this," and then I keep trying and I pray harder and harder and I talk to God and even myself and then I hear this: "Yes, You can." And I try and remember what God said. I pray and He says, "Have faith for 'with Me all things are possible.'"

Where does this fit with  you? If you are talking one-on-one with someone and they need prayers, do you say, "I will pray for you?" Or do you say, let me pray with you right now? And you say, I can't do this and I say to you, "Yes, You Can!" For with God all things are possible. Now there are times when I am trying to do something and I pray and pray and I say I can't do this, and God will tell me, Yes, You Can, and I will help you, just call someone to help you lift it. Let's face it, folks, some jobs require more than one person, and sometimes we need to know that. But it is amazing what you can get done if you just don't look at the job and say, "I can't do this." For I will tell you, "Yes, You Can" and God will tell you that also.

I want to give you another example of something that happened today. I was outside and it was so beautiful, and I wanted to get into the school bus that is here at the house. I went to get up in and I just could not lift my leg high enough to get in. Help me, God, I said, help me work it out. So I pulled my handicap scooter near the bus, turned the key off, stood up on that and made the first step. Then I prayed on each step for God to give me strength to pull myself up into the bus. I had to think as God helped me, and as I said, I can't do this, He said, "Yes, You Can." After awhile I was saying I can do this, I can do this, help me, God, with You I can do this and I made it in. Then I had to figure out how to turn the key, it was hard but I got it done. So look, I know that a lot of you struggle in what you do, I know that and I also know that we all have limitations placed on us by God and that is why we are all blessed with different gifts. Yes, we are blessed with different spiritual gifts and we will talk about that more as we go forth with this subject for a few days. Today just remember not everyone is a plumber, even though most of us can use a plunger. I am afraid of heights, I am not now nor have ever been a climber. But Praise God, with His help, others can climb and help me with that.

Remember this one last thing as I finish up for today, before you start something, pray about it. Don't wait until you get stuck and then start to pray. And yes, I am writing that one to myself also. So in this order you should tackle the job. Pray first, before you start whatever you are doing, and then pray while you are doing the job. And this, the most important thing. Thank God when you are finished. Amen.

Okay, there is just one more thing today. If you truly are doing something that God really truly wants you to do, He will furnish you the tools to get it done.

Now pray and go forth sharing your blessings and loving all people in the name of Jesus. Love ya, and please share my love also.

Monday 4/13/15 Feed 'em (2)

Dear Father in Heaven: I love You! Thank You very, very much for Your loving hands of protection on both Dolores and also me, Lord. Thanks for watching over all families using this line and know that I appreciate all You do for me and for this line. Lord, please watch over Your people, and please, Lord, may we pick up the news and see good things. Praise God we have our Bibles which is full of Good News and we have You, Father, and Your Son and the Holy Ghost. Thank You for being very open with me. Pour out Your Spirit on those using this line. Please, Lord, help me with the message and to get it dispatched. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

Dear brothers and sisters, it was indeed a beautiful spring day here at the Southern Location of the North Pole. Please, brothers and sisters, pray for Dolores and also for me. Last night I fell again, sitting on the side of the bed, I dozed off and fell head first off the bed. (Pray after you finish laughing.) God did catch me on the way down and I did not hit solid things. Just twisted myself some. Today, Dolores fell backwards, and again all glory to God for taking her down softly. She was/is not hurt. The problem came with me lifting her back up, but again thanks to God, who just gave me a burst of strength, and up she came. Again, all honor and glory to God, however, covering us with prayers would be a help. By the way, I am going to work with my son-in-law, Jeff the plumber, and see about putting a seatbelt on the toilet. I did a header one night off the toilet also. Would that make it a header off the "head?" Now again when you are all finished laughing, please pray. Let me get to the message.

Monday: April 13, 2015: Feed 'em (Day Two)

Romans 12:17 - Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody. 18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. 19 Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord. 20 On the contrary: "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will  heap burning coals on his head." 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. (NIV)

If you ever see our ministry trailer and the truck we pull it with, you would notice a few things. One, we have crosses on both vehicles with the Status of Liberty in the distance. It is the artist's view of Neil Enloe's song, "The Cross is My Statue of Liberty." Also on the vehicles is the "Horn of Plenty" with the Bible and lettered "Feeding the Body and the Soul." So today we look at the scripture that tells us that we indeed should feed our enemies. The Word tells us "if your enemy is hungry, feed him." The best way to get to the heart of someone who does not like you is to give him food. Mamma would tell me you "catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar." So we try and fill their bellies as we talk to them about Salvation. Think about it. Let God deal with their salvation and their just punishment. I know this sounds hard, but with our Lord Jesus and the power of The Holy Spirit in our corner, we need to do this. Besides that, is love not better than hate? We are commanded by God to "Love our neighbors!" I 100% believe that our Lord wants us to feed the hungry, with food for the body and food for the soul.

Dear Father, sometimes it is hard to look at people who hate us and love them, but if we follow the lead of Your Son Jesus, who loved/loves everyone, even those who deny Him, we can do this, but we are weaker and need Your touch. Love You, Lord, and pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Now go forth and share your blessings, and please feed the body and the soul. Yes, feed some bread and the Word. Love ya. Please share my love.

Sunday 4/12/15 Feed 'em (1)

Dear Father in Heaven: I love You and I give You thanks and glory for two just wonderful days. Thanks for the events of Saturday and also this Sunday thus far. Thanks for watching over families, all families, and thanks for watching over me. Thanks for the wonderful meals each day. Please be with all those who have been on our prayer list and take care of them. Please be with President Obama and his family. Please take care of our veterans, current military, police, firefighters, and all first responders, and all those who work hard to keep us healthy. I pray that all on that list are "Born Again" and that if they are not that You would use me and what I write to help get people to Your feet. Please furnish me with a message that will do just that and help me to get it dispatched. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

Dear brothers and sisters, it has been perfect weather here at the Southern Location of the North Pole, just perfect. I pray all of you are well this day and that you have been to church, had church in front of your TV and/or in some way been talking to our Lord, as in praying, and rest easy knowing that He will answer those prayers. I am going to break away from "It Happened Along the Way" for a few days as our Lord God through the power of the Holy Spirit has planted a couple other subjects on my mind.

Sunday: April 12, 2015: Feed 'em (Day One)

Proverbs 22:9 - A generous man will himself be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor. (NIV)

On Saturday evening Dolores and I went out for a church supper. Really different for us going out in the evening, but Hope United Methodist Church was serving up chicken pot pie and I love chicken pot pie. I have been there in the past and their food is always done right. Really good stuff.

So I would like to ask you this question today. What if Jesus were to stop in to your home, what would you feed Him? Well, again we have our Bibles and we know when He comes back He is not coming to eat, He is coming for His bride, His church. But I ask you, would we not feed our Lord the very, very best of everything? Good fresh food, great things, maybe even just butchered meats? So why here in America so often, when we are dealing with the poor and needy, we do NOT "feed 'em" the best? As you are aware, we, Carry The Light Ministries had and STILL HAS a food pantry to help others. We have over the years tried hard to "feed 'em" good things and not outdated items. After sitting last night and eating that great pot pie and then today sitting around our table eating homemade scrapple and fresh eggs, God planted on my mind about feeding others like we would feed Him.

Over the years we have run many food drives, and while there were a lot of them who do a great job getting food, only one place over the years had always furnished us with NO outdated food. That is Saint Joseph's Catholic School in Mechanicsburg, PA. Some of our food drives we have collected food with some outdated over ten years, yes, ten years outdated! People tend to "clean out their cupboards" and donate it to food drives. I have seen with my own eyes jars of half eaten peanut butter in food drives making us check each jar to see if the inner seal is still on. I could even tell you where we got some of the worst outdated foods, but I will not do that. Grant and I were at one food pantry where there was a really large crate on a skid, and all outdated food was put in that crate. Is this going to the landfill? I bravely asked. "No," I was told by a helper, "It is being shipped to a foreign country that does not have much and they appreciate it." Are these folks in other countries NOT GOD'S PEOPLE ALSO?"

Shame on all of us, yes, all of us who send things to the needy that we ourselves would not eat. Think of it, this outdated food is packed and shipped and how much more outdated will it be after that? Yes, we give outdated bread, but coming right out of the freezer whee it is like new again. Recently I heard on the news that someone used chocolate drink mix that was about 25 years outdated and everyone got really sick and if I remember correctly a couple of them died. This was here in the good old USA.

A few years back, I was blessed to have a men's group at The Bridges and I scheduled a trip to Indiantown Gap Military Reservation in Lebanon County, PA, home of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard and other military training operations. LeaAnne Crockett was driving the bus that day. She was an activities person. When we arrived at "The Gap" we stopped and picked up our tour guide, a high-ranking officer of the National Guard, if memory serves me correctly he was a Lt. Colonel, who stepped on board the bus and gave those men on board, mostly veterans from WWII, a great tour, even showing them that new Army tank and that Striker Brigade Training area. Then it was off to the "mess hall" for lunch. What a great time, greeted by military men and women of our Army National Guard, who even carried in those in wheelchairs. There was a group of young men there in uniform who I believe were from a school and were being taught how to act. Anyway, back to my subject of "Feed 'em" and I am telling you everything for these men, be veterans or not, and I am NOT a veteran, I do wish I had done that differently. Anyway, the food was fresh, picked from the "General's personal gardens," and fixed up like you would not believe. They fed 'em the best of the best that day, I am sure much better even than the normal mess hall daily food.

If we want to be working for Jesus, we Christians then need to be serving food that is as good as what we eat or better. WOULD SOMEONE JUST SHOUT AMEN TO THAT? Jesus always served up fresh things and tomorrow I will point some out in scripture. Today I just want you to think about it, and when the next food drive comes along, pull from the front of your cupboard, and we in the business of helping others need to do the same when we give it out. What happens when we do it right? Let's look at the opening scripture.

Proverbs 22:9 - A generous man will himself be blessed, for he share his food with the poor. (NIV)

Please know you cannot out-give our Lord. Also read this.

Matthew 7:12 - "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets." (NIV)

Yes, brothers and sisters, that is Jesus being quoted. It is also called "The Golden Rule."

Dear Father in Heaven: You have called on us to feed the poor and needy. Help us to get that job done right for You. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Now go forth and "Feed 'em" as you share your blessings. Love ya, and please share my love with others.

Friday 4/10/15 It Happened Along the Way (4)

Dear Father in Heaven: I love You. Please cover my sins, and please block the voice in the back of my head. Thanks for another day. We are so blessed. We are so blessed to have You to watch over us and I give thanks this day for Your doing just that. Please watch over families, dear Lord, not just mine but all families. Please be with the family of the man who was shot in the back and also the officer who shot him. Lord, I confess I do not understand a lot of what is going on, but I know a lot of it comes from the forces of evil. Please keep protecting this line and please help me now with the message and then to get it dispatched. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

Dear brothers and sisters. I have watched this video with the police officer shooting the black man in the back until I am sick. What happened here was so, so wrong. If both of these men had used the brain God gave them, both would be alive today. In my opinion, this is what happens when we choose to walk away from God. This was a well-trained police officer, and I know that as I watched his car cam as he walked up on the car and left his thumb print on the back of the stopped vehicle. Then, well we all know the rest, and what happened after that was just SO WRONG. Two families have lost their sons, yes, two families, for one man is dead, and the other will and should spend the rest of his life in prison. As for the news, please stop running the clip over and over and over. By the way, I feel the same way about the event in Hummelstown, PA. Maybe they need to take a look at Harrisburg, PA, and their police Chief Carter, and see how he handled things recently. Again, this is my opinion, but I think what we are seeing is because so many people have TURNED THEIR BACKS ON JESUS. Amen.

Brothers and sisters, as we pray for our veterans, military, police officers, please do not just pray for their protection, which they need, but pray they use their brains, and yes, please for sure pray for crime to stop!! Now let me get to the message, It Happened Along the Way.

Friday: April 10, 2015: It Happened Along the Way (Day Four)

John 20:24 - Now Thomas (called Didymus), one of the twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came. 25 So the other disciples told him, "We have seen the Lord!" But he said to them, "Unless I see the nail marks in His hands and put my finger where the nails were and put my  hand into His side, I will not believe it." 26 A week later His disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!" 27 Then He said to Thomas, "Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe." Thomas said to Him, "My Lord and my God!" (NIV)

Thomas, one of the original twelve, was not with the others, but his chance to see Jesus came later. When Thomas was told by the others that they saw Jesus he did not believe them. Again we have our Bibles, our history took, to fall back on, but how do you feel and how would you have felt back then? It is very easy for me to say right now that I 100% believe in Jesus because I really do love Him, but if I was asked this question before I was "Born Again," I am not sure what my answer would have been. I might have been like Thomas, and yes, this is where we get the term "Doubting Thomas." Again, we see Jesus just came and appeared coming in while the doors were locked. How did He get into the room? Don't dwell on that. The fact is, He was in the room. This shows me that no one will see the Lord until our blind eyes are healed. I would love to be able to touch the Lord and feel those hands and the GOOD NEWS on that is one day we are going to be able to do just that. After Thomas saw Him, he still had to touch Him. Then Thomas did believe. As Jesus said to Thomas, may I say to you, STOP DOUBTING AND BELIEVE!

John 20:29 - Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." (NIV)

Okay, brothers and sisters, here it is for us today. Thomas saw Jesus and believed. However, we cannot see Jesus, not yet anyway, but we will be blessed because we HAVE NOT SEEN, and yet we believe. Yes, that is us. Where do you fit in on this? Are you a believer, a true believer? Or do you have questions? Do you believe what is in the Bible? All of it? I, my dear brothers, believe it all! From

Genesis 1:1 - "In the beginning"

to

Revelation 2:21 - "The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God's people. Amen."

And I believe each and every thing that is recorded in between. Some people tend to pick and choose. Not me, for how can you believe some things and not others? It either happened or it didn't, and I believe it all happened. Here is another neat thing. This also happened along the way.

Hebrews 13:8 - Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today and forever. (NIV)

Yes, our Lord Jesus is the same, never changing, never different. We change, and I pray that all of our changes are that we are growing in Jesus. Are you growing each day with Jesus? Will your walk grow stronger? Let's pray!

Dear Father in Heaven. I want to grow in You each day, I really do, but Lord, for those who might not have come to You, I pray this is their day. Please, Lord, protect Your children. I ask this in the Name of Jesus. Amen.

Now go forth and share your blessings, your love of Jesus, and my love also.  Love ya.

Wednesday 4/8/15 It Happened Along the Way (3)

Dear Father in Heaven: I love You very much. Please forgive me of my sins and mess-ups. Thanks for watching over our families and friends. It is appreciated, and please keep blessing us with that protection. Please help Tom with his breathing and please heal Elizabeth of cancer. Please be with all those who are traveling and keep them safe. Lord, please help us find the lost and help bring them to Your feet to be saved. Lord, again I ask for help with the daily message and then to get it dispatched. All honor and glory to You, in Jesus' Name I give thanks and pray. Amen.

Dear brothers and sisters, it is Wednesday and that means it is Salvation Wednesday on this line and the day we work harder to reach out for the lost and to bring them to the feet of Jesus. Please keep praying for those on our list, and please remember Tom Sansoni who is having breathing problems. Also new on the list, Elizabeth Hoch who has cancer. Just a note, folks, I do not list everyone who is sick everyday. We just need to pray for them and cover them with prayer. I will let you know if I hear of healings. We need to know that and post them so we can give that honor and glory to God. Okay, off to the message, "It Happened Along the Way."

Salvation Wednesday: April 8, 2015: It Happened Along the Way (Day Three)

John 20:19 - On the evening of the first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!" 20 After He said this, He showed them His hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord. 21 Again Jesus said, "Peace be with you! As the Father has sent Me, I am sending you." And with that He breathed on them and said, "Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive anyone His sins, they are forgiven: if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven." (NIV)

Let us look back again now and remember please we have our Bibles and we know these are facts because it is history. What amazes me is how some people do not believe the events even though it is history. That reason, they do not have faith. Back when Jesus walked the earth even some did not want to believe the events and they witnessed it. Here we find the disciples sitting behind locked doors and Jesus came and stood among them. He greeted them with the common Jewish greeting "Peace be with you." Would it not be great if that was how we greeted each other now? In the Gospel of Luke it tells us this.

Luke 24:36 - While they were still talking about this, Jesus Himself stood among them and said to them, "Peace be with you." 37 They were startled and frightened, thinking they saw a ghost. 38 He said to them, "Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds? 39 Look at my hands and feet, it is I Myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have." (NIV)

Again we see the term "Peace be with you" used as a greeting. They look at Jesus and think He is a ghost. What would you think? Did He walk through a wall? Remember they were in a locked room. Or was He standing there and they did not know Him at first? What God is telling me is that it really does not make a difference how He got in the room, the fact was He was there. In Luke, Jesus Himself asked them about being troubled and why have doubts in your minds. According to the Gospel of Luke, Jesus asked them to touch Him. Feel Him. Notice please that Luke points out "look at my hands and feet" and John points out that they were to look at "His hands and side."

Right about now people with little or no faith, the non-believers, will point out the difference in the way it is recorded in the Bible. To this I want to point out that if several of us were to witness an automobile accident and later be recalling the events in our minds, would each of us report the accident the same? Of course not. We would all see it a little differently. HOWEVER, the one thing we would all agree on was, the accident happened. I say that because I don't want you to get caught up on the wording from each of the Gospels. The important thing we need to focus on and have faith in is that Jesus was real, He was alive, He died, and He was risen. Like the accident, these events happened. Faith, my dear brothers and sisters. Let us look at this verse and I will bring it down for you.

John 20:21 - Again Jesus said, "Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you." (NIV)

As the Father sent Him. Please remember we are the disciples now. The Father sent Jesus down to save the world through Jesus. We are being sent out to tell the world what Jesus did. We cannot save anyone; that is the work of Jesus. We are being sent out to tell, tell what? Tell the Good News of this event, tell the good news of His love. Now let us have one more look back today.

John 20:22 - Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive anyone his sins, they are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven." (NIV)

Brothers and sisters, we know that we do not have the power to forgive sins for our Lord Jesus, nor can we not forgive someone and have Jesus not forgive them. What this is, if we proclaim the gospel and are telling others this about forgiving and not forgiving sins, it comes down to whether the hearers accept or reject what we tell them about our Lord Jesus. We are indeed just spreading the Word of God and the Good News of our Lord Jesus. Amen.

Now go forth and share your blessings. Love ya. Please share my love also.

Tuesday 4/7/15 It Happened Along the Way (2)

Dear Father in Heaven: I love You very much. Thank You for a very, very rewarding day. I am so excited about what happened today. Thanks for watching over this line and keeping the hackers out of it. Please continue that blessing. Thanks for watching over our families and friends and I ask that You please continue that blessing. Lord, please watch over the following who need that special touch to be healed. Pastor Larry and Luella Hale, Pastor Ed, Annamarie,, Grant, Dave Hetrick, Dave Fortney, Brenda, Dr. Cox, Fred, and Lord, those who have been on our list lately. Thanks, Lord, for all the examples You set for us. Please help me now with the message and then to get it dispatched. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

Dear brothers and sisters, today was an exciting day, and I am going to incorporate it into the message. I need to apologize to Charles Wotring as I did not get his additional writings out yet, they are coming. This, if you recall, will be about safety in the air.

On our prayer list today we have Pastor Larry and Luella who have whatever is going around. Grant Crockett, same thing, Dave Hetrick, pray hard, in the VA Hospital. Dave Fortney, still recovering from his fall. Brenda, to have a healthy baby. Dr. Cox, for his practice. Fred, and we have a lot of Freds on this line, and I should have his last name and I do not. He has the start of the disease named for a ball player. Annamarie has ALS. Okay, I want to get to the message. You will for sure want to read this one.

Tuesday: April 7, 2015: It Happened Along the Way (Day Two)

John 20:17 - Jesus said, "Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, 'I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'" 18 Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news: "I have seen the Lord!" And she told them that He had said these things to her. (NIV)

Once again I invite you to read the scriptures we are using and keep up-to-date with me. Yesterday I talked about Mary finding the open tomb and how we might feel if it happened to us. I want to pick it up with Jesus talking to Mary. "Do not hold on to me." I believe Jesus was trying to get Mary moving along so she could take the message to His disciples. Jesus also talked about He had NOT YET returned to the Father, letting her know again that He was going back up to Heaven. Again we have the benefit of this being history to us and recorded in the best history book ever, THE BIBLE. AS we look into the scripture deeper we see Jesus tells Mary to "Go to His brothers." Here we find Jesus referring to His disciples as His brothers. Now what is that telling me? Since we are the disciples of today, Jesus is indeed our brother. Now watch this, folks. Jesus then tells Mary to tell them, "I am returning to My Father and to your Father." You see again pointed out here as we have talked about in the past, Our Father in Heaven is indeed our Father, and yes, we have an earthly father. Please note the large F in Heavenly Father and the small f in earthly father. And then He points out about God being His God and our God. Now these things all Happened Along the Way with Mary and she followed what Jesus had told her to do, and there is more on this story, but I must tell you what happened along the way with me today.

This morning I had a doctor's appointment and I rose very early to start getting ready as I move really slowly anymore. I was up at 4:30 AM and put the dogs out and made coffee and then left the dogs back in. From there it was into the shower, and it was not even Saturday night! After my shower and taking care of other things in the bathroom (we all do these things) (no, I did not shave!) ... I went to get dressed and I pulled from my closet my "red work clothes." My off-duty Santa suit, you might say. I went and prayed with Dolores and then went outside to get ready. I had packed my small bag, no, it is not a purse, but I carry my stuff in a bag so I don't drop it. After climbing in my truck, I pulled to the end of the driveway and prayed for safety for Dolores at home and me on the road. I opened my bottle of soda and placed it in the holder, fastened my seat belt and off I went. Today was about a forty-five minute drive, taking my time and enjoying the ride. The first event, I saw a van backing down a driveway so I slowed to a stop and sure enough it backed onto the street. God is good, I saw it coming. No problem. I arrived at the doctor's office and when I placed my truck keys in my pocket I noticed I had anointing oil in my pocket, which I most always carry but had forgotten to pick up today before I left home. It was left in my pocket from before Christmas when Santa married a couple in "Santa's House" here at the Southern Location of the North Pole. Hang in there. I signed in and waited in the doctor's waiting room and it was very busy, very busy. I got to talk to a few people in there and to some children who were looking at me like I was "Santa." Then Doctor Cox's nurse came and got me and took me to the scale and took my temperature, and then I followed her slowly down the hall. She is always so sweet and loving as it takes me forever to walk. Into the little office where the nurse whose name is "Brenda" took my vitals which were perfect. "Praise God" for that, right? After looking at a child's picture book of Bible stories, the doctor came in with his nurse "Brenda" at his side. He asked me to pray for her and if I had anointing oil along to anoint her. In my pocket was that anointing oil, as God must have planned all this. Brenda had asked the doctor the day before to get me to pray for her. I ask all of you to pray for Brenda and her family including the NEW BABY IN THE WOMB. Yes, she pulled up her top enough so I could anoint the baby in the womb and then Brenda. Then we held hands and prayed and prayed for the baby and Brenda. Brenda then departed the room crying with tears of joy. Please keep praying for Brenda. She has been trying for a long time to get in the motherly way. Then the doctor went over my reports and blood tests from before, injected my left knee and told me to go home and get off my legs so the injection would work. All other tests done before were perfect, praise the Lord for that. I prayed with Doc as always and went on to check out.

Hey, do not leave me yet, it gets better. After checking out and going out to my truck and getting into it, I was just calling Dolores to let her know I was leaving when a young couple, younger than me anyway, asked me if I ever heard the song about the Statue of Liberty. You see, on the back of my truck I have crosses with the Statue of Liberty behind them. This song written by singer-songwriter Neil Enloe, and yes, of course I started to sing it to them. After that I called Dolores and then left for home.

Oh, please do not leave me. As I left I had two ways to come home, up the interstate or the back roads. I was thinking the interstate, but when coming to the intersection, I said to myself, I am going the back roads. On the way back home I pass a place that sells Amish buildings and when passing I looked to my left and saw the man who delivered my double garage two years ago. I was past the place and it was like God told me to turn around and go back. I had not seen this man for two years and I wanted to see  him. I pulled in and he called me by name. I did not remember his right away. He asked me about Dolores and how she was doing. As you know, the Amish do not drive. I asked him about the Fishers, David and his son David. The more I talked with the driver, the more I could h ear he had trouble speaking. I asked him how he was, and up to now he was leaning in the right side of my truck. He told me he does not use the name of the that the ball player had but I knew right away what he was talking about. I asked him to come around the truck and then I reached into my pocket and out with that anointing oil, you know, the bottle that I would not have had along if I had not had on my red suit. I anointed him with oil and was praying when I had to be reminded his name was "Fred." (Please add Fred to your daily prayers.) This man is also on fire for Jesus. We talked for awhile, and I asked him to pass on our love to the Fishers. And I left. I was really in touch with God the rest of the way home. I stopped for gas, picked up a sandwich at the drive-in window, and came home to find that my prayers were answered as Dolores and our home were okay, and I had a safe trip.  YES, THAT HAPPENED ALONG THE WAY TODAY. Please do not tell me that God does not put you where he wants you to be. PRAISE GOD, PRAISE GOD, PRAISE GOD.

Now go forth letting God lead you and sharing your blessings along the way, and never be afraid to pray with someone. Once you do it, each time it gets better. Love ya, and please pass on my love to others.

Well, Glory. Brothers and sisters, what a picture perfect day here at the Southern Location of the North Pole. I love every day that the Lord gives me. However, if I could place an order for what I would like year-round, today would have been it. Please add these folks to your prayer lists. David Hetrick (VA Hospital), Dave and Betty Evelhoch (this couple had a fire in their home and lost everything, and add to that Dave is having brain surgery at Hershey Medical Center). Please keep praying for Patsy and Burt Emig and family and also my brother in Christ Grant Crockett (back problems). Please keep our veterans, first responders, military, police, firefighters, and others who help to keep us safe in prayer. Pray also for the  ministries of Carry The Light. Thanks and now to the message.

Monday: April 6, 2015: It Happened Along the Way (Day One)

John 20:13 - They asked her, "Woman, why are you crying?" "They have taken my Lord away," she said, "and I don't know where they have put Him." 14 At this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not realize that it was Jesus. 15 "Woman," He said, "why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?" Thinking He was the gardener she said, "Sir, if you have carried Him away, tell me where You have put Him, and I will get Him." 16 Jesus said to her, "Mary." She turned toward Him and cried out in Aramaic "Rabboni!" (which means Teacher.)

In the next days I want to go over some of the events that happened after Jesus was risen from the dead. Today I ask that you put your feet in the sandals of Mary (yes, of course they will fit you) and think about this being you. Your Lord has been crucified on a cross and you watched, you saw Him die, you watched as He was taken down and the placed in this tomb and the tomb was sealed and even guarded. You witnessed those events on a Friday and here on a Sunday when you come to the grave site, a tomb, the stone had been rolled away, the group that had gathered all were leaving but you stayed behind, maybe kneeling and cleaning up things as your mind is really going a mile a minute thinking of what had happened. You look again and again, there is just no one in that tomb. He was gone. While we have the advantage of knowing Jesus was risen, Mary did not. Anyway, your friend, your Lord is gone, and you start crying, and then you hear a voice from behind you. "Danny." I put my name, you put in your name. You might not look around at first, you are busy in your thoughts, and you are crying. You might be thinking, let me alone, please do not bother me right now. "Danny." The voice calls out, you look around and you think it is the gardener. Then you take a good look and you see. It is Jesus. What  might be going through your mind? You cry out and you are excited. Rabboni! Teacher. Maybe Jesus. You jump to your feet. And what happens next? Well, for the scripture I will get into that tomorrow for the next step in what happened along the way.

Let me fast forward to now. I am sure you have been to a funeral service and most likely to the cemetery. You know the person was dead, and you were at the funeral. You hang around for awhile after the service at the cemetery and then you leave. The casket gets lowered, the lid goes over the casket, the ground goes back over the grave, and the flowers are put on top of the grave. A couple of days later you go past the cemetery and you walk to the grave site and it is opened, the heavy lid is tossed to the side, the top of the casket is open and your loved one is gone. Why? Who would want your loved one? Grave robbers? Then you look around and see other graves open. STOP. If this happened to you, if you went to the cemetery and found this, YOU MISSED THE CALL. Brothers and sisters, this is why, this is why you must be ready now, for we do not know when this event will happen, we do not know when but we do know it will. We know it because we have our Bibles and we have gone over this before and we have faith. Please do not wait a minute longer. Please come to Jesus now. Please.

Dear Father in Heaven, forgive me of my sins and ready me for heaven. I have faith and I believe in Jesus. Please place my name in the Book of Life. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

Now go forth and share your blessings. Love ya. Please share love with others.

EASTER SUNDAY 4/5/15 He's Alive

HE'S ALIVE!! He has risen!!

Luke 24:1 - On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. 2 They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3 but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 While they were wondering abut this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. 5 In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, "Why do you look for the living among the dead? 6 He is not here; He has risen! Remember how He told you, while He was still with you in Galilee? 7 'The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.'" 8 Then they remembered His words. (NIV)

How excited the women were! One thing I want to point out, when the women looked into the tomb and could not find Jesus, what they did find was the "grave clothes" used to cover Jesus were folded. Why would the clothes be folded? If you go to restaurant where cloth napkins are still used, if you were to get up from the table and you would be finished, you would just place the napkin on your plate, but if you are coming back, the napkin is folded and placed beside the plate. So you see another sign that JESUS IS COMING BACK. More on that later. Let's sing and come on, GET EXCITED!

Alive, Alive, Alive forever more, my Jesus is alive, alive forever more.
Alive, Alive, my Jesus is Alive, alive forever more.
Sing alleluia, sing alleluia, my Jesus is alive forever more,
Sing alleluia, sing alleluia, my Jesus is alive. (again)

(one more time)

Dear Father in Heaven: Thank You, thank You, thank You. I love You, Father, I love You, Jesus, I love You, Holy Ghost! Thanks for dying for us. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

Now go forth and share this blessing today with all you meet. HE'S ALIVE!  Love ya.

Good Friday 4/3/15 The Cross

Dear Father in Heaven: Thank You, Jesus, for going to the cross for me. Thank You for dying on that old rugged cross for me. And Jesus, thank You for doing it for all of us and not just me. Thanks for watching over family and friends. Please, Lord, place Your healing hand upon Glenn and Marie, also Grant. Thanks for Your help at the Good Friday service. Please keep watch over Art and Elaine and hold them tight. Please be with Patsy and Burt Emig and take care of them. Please help me now with the message and then to get it dispatched. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

Happy Good Friday, dear brothers and sisters. Yes, I know it is Saturday. For those who covered our service with prayer yesterday, we give you thanks and we give God the praise for it going well. When we got home I went to bed. Now to the message, The Cross.

Good Friday: April 3, 2015: The Cross

John 19:16 - Finally Pilate handed Him over to them to be crucified. So the soldiers took charge of Jesus. 17 Carrying His own cross He went out to the place of the Skull (Golgotha). (NIV)

Mark 15:21 - A certain man from Cyrene, Simon, the father of Alexander and Rufus, was passing by on his way in from the country, and they forced him to carry the cross. (NIV)

Today before I started the message, I was praying with Dolores for God to help me with the message, and my prayer went something like this. "Dear Father in Heaven, please help me with the message. I know why You did this." When I got to this part, a voice entered my head. My mind was so clear I know it was our Good Lord and that voice said, "then just tell them." So here in my words, coming from God, is that message.

I used the scriptures above to bring out a point that while most all those being crucified had to carry their own cross, as did Jesus, Jesus was so worn out and tired from the beating He was given that a man, Simon, was pulled from the crowd and was forced to help Jesus carry the cross. So if I were to put all this into my words, I would need to call it "The Greatest Love Story Ever Told." We know and have talked about it this week that God The Father gave us His One and only Son to die on the cross for all of us. Jesus walked the earth and from the time He was born was showing love for all of us. He showed this love by feeding thousands with two fish and five loaves of bread, by driving demons out of those who were demon-possessed, He healed sick people, He healed blind eyes, He healed broken hearts, and yes, He rose up the dead. He told us of how He would help us if we would just learn to love and trust Him. He told us of how if we did trust Him we would be given so many things that I would need to type out the whole Bible to show you. Yes, brothers and sisters, our dear Lord Jesus Christ loved/loves us so much, so very, very much that He gave His life for us and that is why we have "Good Friday."

Let me make one thing really, really clear here. Good Friday was indeed good for us, but not for Jesus. Can you even stop and think about the beating He took for us? The other night I sat down to watch "Killing Jesus," the movie based on the top-selling book of the same name written by Bill O'Reilly, and brothers and sisters, I could not watch it. I watched the Passion of the Christ a few years back and screamed out in the theater when Jesus was eaten. All I could think about both times is that this Man, this Man named Jesus, did all of this for me and of course you. He was beaten, spat on, forced to wear a crown of thorns, nailed to a cross, His side was pierced with a sword, and then left hung on that cross for hours and hours until He died.

I am so unworthy of what this Man did for me, so unworthy. As for all of you, well, we are all sinners, and to the degree of your unworthiness, well, that is between you and Jesus. We have so many men and women over the years who have laid down their lives to keep our nation free, but no one Man ever died for the LOVE OF ALL MEN (WOMEN) regardless if they loved Him or hated Him. He is the greatest gift ever given and it is FREE TO ALL who will just confess that they love Him. Yes, free to all for just a very short confession of their love for this great Man. A free gift picked up by many and left lay by many.

So please let me ask you this. What have you done with your free gift from Jesus? If you are reading this, that means you still have time, but we do not know when the time will run out. Today I ask you, no, I beg you, if you have never come to Jesus, it is time. I cannot save you, your pastor cannot save you, your priest cannot save you, Pope Francis cannot save you, Reverend Billy Graham cannot save you. ONLY JESUS CAN SAVE YOU (John 14:6). I can do this today. I can lead you in a prayer that if you pray in faith will get you started in the right direction. It is an easy way to get started. In the future we will be talking about working for Jesus once you come to Him. Okay, are you ready?

Dear Father in Heaven: I am a sinner, and I confess this to You this day. I do believe that Jesus died for me on the cross to save me from my sins and that He was risen from the dead. I confess this with my mouth and believe it in my heart as told in Romans 10 verses 9 and 10. Please, Lord, place my name in the Lamb's Book of Life. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

If you prayed that in faith you are now "Born Again." Congratulations on your new birthday!!

One last thing. I do not like the Easter bunny, but at Christmas I think Santa is okay. Do you know the difference between Santa and the Easter bunny? Yes, one has big ears and the other a beard, but why might I feel this way?

Now go forth and share your blessings and love others. Love ya. Please pass on all the love you can pass on.

Maundy Thursday 4/2/15 The Empty Church (4)

Dear Father in Heaven: I love You. Thanks for a great day and thank You for answered prayer about Matthew. Thanks for keeping him safe. Thanks for all You do for all of us. Please, Lord, help my thought process and help me be ready for tomorrow. Help Dolores as she readies the music. It has been awhile since we were out preaching and teaching. Please, Lord, be with us.  Help me now with the daily message and then to get it dispatched. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

Brothers and sisters, all honor and glory to God and thank you for your prayers. We received a letter from Matthew yesterday that told us he was safe. We still have not talked to him, but we now at least know where he is. Please keep praying that if he has not returned to God that he will. I want to get started with the message, The Empty Church.

Maundy Thursday: April 2, 2015: The Empty Church (Day Four)

John 16:19 - Jesus saw that they wanted to ask Him about this, so He said to them, "Are you asking one another what I meant when I said, 'In a little while you will see Me no more and then after a little while you will see Me'? 20 I tell you the truth, you will weep and mourn while the world rejoices. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy. 21 A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world." (NIV)

Question for you. Did you ever really stop and think why the Friday before Easter is called "Good Friday?" If you really think about it, it was not a good day for our Lord Jesus. However, with that said, it sure was a good day for we who have become "Born Again." For we now  have a "path to peace." Now you can quote me on that last saying, for Jesus is indeed our "path to peace." I have seen it written like this. "Know Jesus, Know Peace, no Jesus, no peace."

With our scripture for today, Jesus is with His disciples and His time is coming, coming to an end here on earth. His disciples were talking together and said to one another, 'In a little while you will see Me no more, and then after a little while You will see me.' What does He mean, they were asking each other. That is when Jesus gave them the answer in our scripture. But what does it mean?

Well, Jesus knows He is going to be put to death, and He also knows He will be risen from the dead. So He is telling them in His way that He will be leaving, the first time will be for a short time. He will be gone and as we know, as we have the benefit of our Bible and this is history, Jesus states, "In a little while you will see Me no more, and then after awhile you will see Me."

The scripture also shows they, the disciples, will "weep and mourn" while the world rejoices. But that, as we know, will get reversed. They will cry, weep, mourn, but as we will see after Easter, His disciples will see Him again. Then of course He will leave them again. Do you know when? That we will talk about in about a month. The scripture also talks about sorrow, pain, etc., turning to joy. Jesus uses the example of a woman who gives birth to a child, has all that pain, and when the child is born, the joy overcomes that pain. It also talks about the world rejoices when His disciples weep. That is no different today as we see how the world is and how the world treats real Christians. Christians are being murdered daily, and in the news today we hear of Christians being murdered just yesterday in Kenya, which if I am correct is where President Obama's father lives or lived.

Brothers and sisters, while we are here on earth we will go through a lot of pain, a lot of it. And while none of us want to be in a hurry to leave our homes here on earth, when we do leave, when we do get called and head to our final forever home, we will have no more pain, no more suffering, it will be pure joy, IF, and yes, there is a big, a really big IF ... we must be saved, we must be "Born Again," and I love those two words. They scare the pants off of some people, but not me, as I am "Born Again." My job now is to see that others come to know Jesus. You know I have talked about The Empty Church this week. Some of the churches are empty because they were left empty by a flock who pulled up their stakes and left. Others did not PREACH and TEACH the TRUTH and once that starts it is a matter of time until the church folds. But there is a time that the "Church should be Empty," and that is when the flock goes out door to door and spreads the word of the Lord. Christians make fun of the Mormons and those Jehovah's Witnesses as they go door to door. But they are doing what Christians are to do. When was the last time people set out from the church you attend and "worked the streets" or the market places? Ask yourselves this one. Would Jesus be welcome at the church you attend or would He be looked down on because He needs a "shave?" Is the Holy Spirit welcome at the church you attend? If you were standing on a Sunday Morning in that church where you attend and someone was jumping up and down on fire for Jesus, what would happen? What if they spoke in "tongues?" We are to praise God The Father, God The Son, and God The Holy Ghost. All three, my dear brothers and sisters. How long has it been since you just really worshiped God The Father, God The Son, and God The Holy Ghost? Think about it, and while you are thinking about it, I want to get you started.

Praise You, Jesus, thank You, Jesus, I love You, Jesus, come into our house and make it a home, Father, and please baptize me in the Holy Ghost, dear Father. I love You, I love You, I love You. Thanks for dying for me and all others. Praise You for permitting me to work for You. All glory and honor is Yours. In Jesus' Name. In Jesus' Name, I ask to be saved, cleaned up, washed in the blood of Jesus. All glory to You. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Now go forth loving Jesus and sharing your blessings. And remember, all good things come from God. I love ya. Please share my love as you share the love of Jesus. Enjoy your Good Friday, and remember all of this was done for us, for you and for me.

Wednesday 4/1/15 The Empty Church (3)

Dear Father in Heaven: I love You very much. Thanks for watching over us, and thank You for the group Volunteers of America and all they are doing for veterans. Thank You for setting it up that we can work with them. You are wonderful, dear Lord, just wonderful. Thanks for dying for us, thanks for going to the cross for us so that we would  have a path to get into Heaven. Please help me with the messages, and please  help me get my message ready for Friday. Help me then dispatch the messages as needed. Lord, also  help us as we reach out to the lost on this our Salvation Wednesday. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

Dear brothers and sisters, what great news I bring forth this evening, this on a Salvation Wednesday. Today at noon I opened the dedication service of the very first home rebuilt by the Volunteers of America and to be turned over to a homeless veteran with a family. We also delivered the first of the food going to one of these homes. Today, after many prayers, Dolores and I made a promise before God that Carry The Light Ministries, Inc., and our supporters will be standing with Volunteers of America for all 100 of their homes being rebuilt in Pennsylvania. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE SAY PRAISE THE LORD! Please pray with us for this is a new mission. Being a Christian is all about faith and love and we just refuse to retire from working for God. So your support will be needed and is appreciated. Thanks to those of you who have already told me you would be willing to help with delivery of food. Are we so blessed? YES, WE ARE SO BLESSED!!!

Now let me get to the message, The Empty Church.

Salvation Wednesday: April 1, 2015: The Empty Church (Day Three)

John 14:6 - Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (NIV)

John 19:16 - Finally Pilate handed Him over to be crucified. So the soldiers took charge of Jesus. 17 Carrying His own cross, He went out to the place of the Skull (which in Aramaic is called Golgotha). 18 There they crucified Him, and with Him two others, one on each side and Jesus in the middle. (NIV)

Brothers and sisters, I want to take a look at the cross today, and as we can see in the scriptures above, Jesus is our only way to Heaven, and when He went to the cross for us, He even carried His own cross. Along with His cross He was carrying something else, and the weight of this other thing He was carrying was much heavier than that "Old Rugged Cross." What could be heavier than that old cross? Our sins, brothers and sisters. Now how much does our sins really weight? You tell me. I am sure that in your lifetime you have done things wrong and some of those things weighed very heavy on you. Am I correct? Surely it is not just me that things weighed heavy on me, until I turned them over to Jesus. Jesus carried His own cross, the wooden one, plus the "sins of the world" on His back. Let me write the cross out a tad different today.

C: The C in Cross stands for "Christ," that would be our Lord Jesus Christ who died on the Cross for us.
R: The R in cRoss stands for "Risen," and we know and it is recorded in our Bible and in history that Christ Jesus did die on the cross and He indeed was "risen."
O: The O in crOss stands for "our" for indeed it is Our Lord Jesus who died on the cross for us.
S: The first S in the croSs stands for Savior, for our Lord Jesus Christ went to the cross and is our Savior for doing this for us.
S: The second S in crosS stands for Salvation, for it is through Our Lord Jesus Christ our Savior who gives us this free gift of Salvation.

The Cross is where we must go to get rid of our sins. Will you go to the CROSS with me right now? Can we meet there now? Please!!!

Dear Father, I come to the foot of the cross right now asking to be forgiven of my sins. I give thanks to You, Father, for sending Jesus, Your One and Only Son, to die on the Cross for me, and I also give thanks for You sending the Holy Ghost upon us. In Jesus' Name, I ask to be saved. And according to the scriptures in Romans 10:9/10, I confess my love for you with my mouth and believe it in my heart. Save me, Lord. In Jesus' Name, I pray. Amen.

Now go forth CLEAN and try, please, not to get messed up again, meaning, repent. Share your blessings, please. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
