You shall not murder, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, You shall not give false testimony.
Dear Brothers and Sisters ... Today is Friday July 3, 2009. Tomorrow we have a holiday, it is
INDEPENDENCE DAY. It falls each year on July 4th. Please note, the holiday is not the 4th of July!!
Please, and most of all, all Christians ... How would we like it if Christmas would be called December 25th? We would be up in arms. Please think about it. This is the Holiday for the Birth of our Nation, and how many people have died to keep it free. Could we just honor it by calling the Holiday by the name? What is next Christmas, or maybe that forgotten Holiday we call Veterans Day? How would we like that one called November 11th? Ok, I will get off my high horse and get down to business. High Horse, wow, how long since you heard that one?
Friday and the day we pray for all those who are working in the fields of Harvest for our Lord Jesus. You need to be on that prayer list ...
Preamble, Constitution, Bible 5: Exodus 20: 13 - You shall not murder. 14 You shall not commit adultery. 15 You shall not steal. 16 You shall not give false testimony. (NIV) These are commandments 6/9 of the "Ten Commandments", and today I just want to make this note. Most of our laws that govern our lands come from the commandments. For those who do not believe in God, might find it hard to believe that our laws really came from God. How about that!!! Now while we are all aware that there are laws on the books about stealing, about murder, and about giving false testimony, not many realize that there are still laws on the books about adultery.
Folks, as I close out on this series, I want you all to know that I love it in America, I would not want to live anyplace else in the world today, but I am ready when God calls to go to my forever home in Heaven. For I am a Christian first, after that an American. In front of our home right now we have two flags flying on one big high pole. The Christian flag flies at the top, right under it is the American Flag. ONE NATION, UNDER GOD ... Amen.
Happy Independence Day, my dear brothers and sisters, and in a time when so may people do not have enough to eat, why in the world are we shooting fireworks up in the air? They are pretty, but to me, so sad. Feed people first folks, take care of our poor. Help your neighbor, and then if you must, set off one firecracker.
Dear Father in Heaven, thanks for this great Nation, and thanks for blessing it. I am so sorry, Lord, that we have gotten so far out of line. We murder, not just adults, but kids, and even the unborn, we steal, not just dollars, but anything that is not tied down. And we lie on the stand, in fact we break all of Your laws and most of ours. Lord, forgive us, forgive this Nation. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
Would you like a FREE copy of the Constitution of the United States of America? Go to
www:askheritage.org/premium.aspx, Thanks to my new found brother Joe Zimmerman, teacher in the Baltimore Md. City Schools for that information. Now get sharing your blessings, for we are truly blessed. Share it, and remember ONE NATION UNDER GOD, TILL WE ARE CALLED HOME. Love ya, dan.
